981  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: -what are the best Bitcoin wallets? on: January 25, 2021, 06:34:41 AM
what Bitcoin wallets would you recommend for storage? or any other viable solutions?

There are many different Bitcoin wallets and at this point it's best to know the pros and cons of each. My personal choice is the Trezor hardware wallet. Not only do they have a gorgeous design but you can manage Bitcoin with a hardware device that protects your private keys from unauthorized use which is great for security reasons.
If you don't want to invest in a hardware wallet at the moment, the next popular solution is a paper wallet for long-term storage or a desktop or mobile version of the Electrum wallet for frequent use.

I guarantee you that a Ledger Nano will also help you to secure your private keys.

I only use mobile wallets before but I think that I'm not that confident in holding my bitcoins only in a digital wallet because it might get hacked.

That's the advantages of having a hardware wallet because you are the only one who can access it and if you made a mistake with it then that's your fault.
982  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: That AI bot that can trade on my behalf without me making the trades on: January 24, 2021, 10:45:05 AM
Never rely on trading bots that are existing in some platforms because that will not help you grow your asset.

It will just maintain your asset when you are working with other activities or stuffs but when you always use it in trading then progress will not chase you.

In trading, you need to work on yourself, you need to improve your skills, technical analysis, manual strategies and you will just use stop-loss so that you can limit your losses. Bots are somehow useful but when you trust it always without working on yourself then goodluck to your future.
983  Economy / Economics / Re: Miami mayor considers investing in bitcoin with public funds on: January 24, 2021, 10:14:08 AM
*what! the Miami mayor thinks that public funds are his personal money...
He made his own timed bomb. he was too brave to do that. In my city, this is a criminal offense regardless. what if Bitcoin crashes, will he be able to convince the Miami citizens?

That's what they call risks in the market and the thing that he did is really unsafe for himself.

His name will probably be put into shame when its citizen and people know what he did about the public funds which should be allocated in to a more responsible way.

Maybe he really likes gambling that's why he likes to deal with huge-risks in the market but still, that's a very huge and very unacceptable way of investing.
984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin advertising by celebrities. on: January 24, 2021, 09:28:32 AM
As these celebrities finally understand the real use case of Bitcoin, they are not going to hesitate in promoting ir despite the mixed reactions of their fans and followers in various social media channels. Good thing that they are starting to let people know what Bitcoin really is all about.
It might be that they understand the real case use of Bitcoin because of it price. But the beauty of this whole thing is: they are exposing the said Bitcoin to their respective followers on social media which is adding to the community. Although most  of these celebs often go back to their vomit as we saw in the past. Hope this time they stand with Bitcoin even in difficult times like in the dip.

Once an investor, will always think and act like an investor. I mean he will surely support bitcoin where he invested his money and he will probably manage it properly during highs or lows. Sharing is caring and sharing knowledge will really make your followers or fans become enlightened about the cryptocurrency that is already existing in most of the market. Social media platforms are mostly focused on issues, popularity, fame, and etc, but they are not thinking about businesses. They are only introduced into business when pandemic hits us, and I know that if celebrities will advocate the use of bitcoin in their region then that's an advantage on the bitcoin community.
985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Companies Use Symbols Similar to That of Bitcoin? on: January 24, 2021, 08:52:00 AM
@tranthidung
I have to be honest and say that I have never heard of Bphone or the Bkav corporation before. I have never seen a commercial in Europe  that advertises Bphone. I see that they are based in Vietnam so they are probably focused exclusively on the Asian market.
Their B logo is very similar to that of Bollinger Trucks, just seems a bit lighter shade of orange.

Nice find, thanks!

This is really interesting that you found these similarities between other company's logo to bitcoin.

Maybe, some of those are intended to follow the footsteps of bitcoin's logo so that it can somehow influence their business about the popularity of bitcoin.

Also maybe some are coincidences and they made that logo while they are not knowledgeable about the existence of bitcoin.
986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why government not take good step? on: January 24, 2021, 07:58:34 AM
Kinda obvious why some governments would want bitcoin to be banned/illegal — it's simply a currency they have no control of, and can be pretty anonymous if you know what you're doing.

In bitcoin, you really have financial freedom and you can't do what you want with your asset.

The reason why government is prohibiting it is that they can't take benefits from it from other people.

They can't collect taxes from it which is not an advantage for them.

But government should see the benefits and advantages of bitcoin in the economy and market.
987  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Trading have an advantage over investing?? on: January 23, 2021, 04:06:47 PM
If you have a low risk tolerance and want to prevent volatility, the way to go will be to invest.

When you just want to hold and play safe and you don't want to deal with the volatility then investment is a good option for you.

If you don't have the guts to make yourself become adaptive in the market then it is much better for you to hold until it is profitable enough for you.

But trading could be appealing if you're more of a risk taker and would like the opportunity to earn big returns quickly. It is essential to understand that trading and investing need not necessarily be mutually exclusive.

But there are also people who become successful in trading because they grabbed the opportunity to trade as soon as they can and make their asset grow more.

At the end of the day, it is still your own decision on what are you going to prioritize to help yourself grow your money.
988  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid 19 protecting value of money on: January 23, 2021, 03:31:03 PM
Inflation will be the outcome if the government print more money and the value of that paper will be meaningless and useless to all citizens. We might have negative impact of what covid brought us but it triggers new payment system like the uses of paperless and crypto payment system that everybody are using right now during these lockdowns we are experiencing.

While inflation is active and occurring in your country then recession will also occur.

Recession is really hard and can worsen economic crisis, because economic activities will probably become much lower and as Covid-19 is continuously active then we will probably suffer that long. In terms of investment, obviously we will have a doubt and uncertainty that will make us scared to invest.

But somehow, cryptocurrency will become more popular and mainstream due to more on digital transactions.
989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to still make a good return from Bitcoin? on: January 23, 2021, 09:22:07 AM
My question: Should I just forget about bitcoin now and go back to my business?
What you need to know, for yourself is: in the crypto world you have 100% freedom, no one stops you and no one will tell you to survive in the crypto world, especially in the Bitcoin investment sector.

You have full rights in and out of the crypto world and also your current business, at times like this one must know yourself in making a decision, If you believe you are doing what you want to do, if you are in doubt you should step back, it is all decisions whether you do business or investing in your Bitcoin that determine your destiny, not someone else's.

That's one of the advantages and benefits of cryptocurrency, we have financial freedom when we are holding some.

You have full control of your asset and if you have a doubt about the market then you can also make decisions based on your perspective in your investment.

Bitcoin investment is really good as it will make you to have another source of profits not only the business that you are managing. If you can manage those two then it will really much effective for you to have different sources of earnings. But don't force yourself to something you're not happy with so it is still your choice to continue or pull back.
990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Gold after Zombie Apocalypse on: January 23, 2021, 07:25:19 AM
This topic has no difference on "What will happen to bitcoin when World War III happens?"

When we talk about affecting the humanity, assets will not matter that time because the only that will matter are those tool for survival.

Bitcoin, altcoins, or digital currencies will not be valuable in times of crisis that can affect people's lives because people will look for a real value or items. It is also possible that Gold will not matter that much and Gold can just be the same like other metals which can be used for making crafts or in blacksmithing.
991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let`s say bitcoin replaces fiat. What happens? on: January 23, 2021, 06:55:51 AM
When talk about "IFs" then I'm worrying about those indigenous people who are not that familiar in that way of transactions.

There are some part of every countries who will be left behind due to slow development and those people will surely have a hard time to earn money.

But I know that it is impossible to happen because traditional way of payment method using fiat is the best and suitable for everyone.

Let's just leave bitcoin to become an alternative tool for payment whenever we want it because in bitcoin, we have a financial freedom.
992  Economy / Economics / Re: Tech. Analysis vs. Value Investing vs. Growth Investing vs. Narrative Economy on: January 22, 2021, 07:13:38 PM
One more think caught my attention:

Effectively it means - if you can identify good story that would be appealing to other prospective investors, and able to invest in that story early enough, you can outperform others.

Doesn't it change the investing into "gambling on Ponzi scheme"? You don't earn from profit that undervalued asset generates and share with investors (old era investing), you earn only if more and more investors believed in the story you spot before them.

Although it does look like a Ponzi scheme, I think this is the current reality: no matter how good your asset can be you are going lose the competition to those who attracted more investors. So, apart from being a good project, attracting investors is very important.

At the end of the day, best competitors will win no matter you flex your assets so bad.

There are also stories who are not even real and can still be effective that's why there are investors who are getting baited by Ponzi schemes.

But on the other hand, making good project will really help each individual to learn, to understand, and to engage more about the market and economics. This will help you become more wise and business-minded that will help you make another strategies to attract future successful investors.
993  Economy / Economics / Re: Vaccination Started in India | Impact over Indian Economy & World? on: January 22, 2021, 06:32:10 PM
There are recently reports that one of the world's biggest vaccine-making facilities are on fire due to a possible accident and it will severely affect India's economy.

They said that there are many countries who already have a contract with this Covid-19 vaccine supplier but sadly this disaster happens.

I know that many countries are now problematic because a supplier is in crisis right now. I'm hoping that they can recover as soon as possible because there are a lot people who are hoping for the vaccine which will boost India's economy positively.
994  Economy / Speculation / Re: $27000 or $35000? Which will Bitcoin head to at the end of Jan.? on: January 22, 2021, 06:01:14 PM
Most likely, the price will fall below $30,000. But don't worry, it's a normal process.

Don't be disappointed when bitcoin's price fall below $30,000 because if you didn't seize the opportunity during its high price then you're not the only one with that mistake.

We don't really expect for bitcoin to make a certain ATH this time and some people are hoping for bitcoin to reach $50k before they sell. Never be too upset about bitcoin's volatility because it is its nature to become like that, it is made to become unstable in the market so that those who are good at reading the market will make it advantageous for them.

Always hope for the better and don't give up on bitcoin.
995  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it just the starting of fueling Bitcoin for riding to moon? on: January 22, 2021, 05:31:31 PM
Actually, IMO, I think new ATH is coming for bitcoin. It's been really holding great above $30,000 recently. Bitcoin's price history, as I understand it, tells that the current price range of bitcoin will go higher soon. Maybe $43,000?
Just my opinion.

Maybe $45,000 will do. I'm really waiting for bitcoin to reach $45k or $50k before I sell and buy in the low.

No one's expecting for bitcoin's price to reach that price this month which really occurs but maybe sooner or later, that milestone happens.

Right now, bitcoin's price is only staying at $27k to $33k which can really be sketchy and hard to predict but holding your bitcoin with accountability will be worth it soon because I know that bitcoin can really soon ride to the moon.
996  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the best cryptocurrency exchange for beginners on: January 22, 2021, 05:01:24 PM
The best way to pick is the one you are feeling comfortable with, obviously you shouldn't be comfortable with it for that easily, but we could potentially make it work even with not the best ones neither so you could find a middle one, or you could pick binance like every other person does anyway.

This the basis for my preferences in looking for a good and suitable exchange for me.

I always look for an exchange where I'm comfortable when accessing it. Also you should explore first a certain exchange before you start using it, try Binance like what he's suggesting. Making profits will depend on your skill and experience so don't hesitate to start on the exchange that you're using.

I learned trading by using Binance and I must say that this is what makes me confident in trading, also check its reviews and feedbacks and also watch some videos before you begin.

999  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best to inheritance of btc and crypto on: January 21, 2021, 11:51:24 AM
Do you mean Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the market?

You should enlighten us more about the things that you want to understand next time.

So inheritance of bitcoin is not that easy and it encourage an investor to have an open-mind and willingness in order to make your investment profitable. It is not that easy to invest on cryptocurrencies because there are a lot of existing shitcoins which are left behind and end up being a scam so you need to become aware about that.

Passing bitcoin's knowledge is already an advantage in the next generation or in the future because sooner or later, cryptocurrencies will become much more popular.
1000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua on: January 20, 2021, 07:51:59 AM
Although Tyson have a much higher odds than Anthony Joshua, I will still bet on AJ as I watched his highlights.

He really dominated his opponents inside the ring and he show no mercy in his opponents.

I know that you will say that betting on Tyson is an easy money but the thrill is that the underdog can give you much larger winnings and can fight from behind.
