821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The World's First Kids Cartoon about Bitcoin on: May 29, 2023, 02:50:44 AM
The only one that I've watched from their channel was the 3 minute cartoon one which explains bitcoin pretty much what a kid needs to know about it, it's informative and it's easy to digest especially for kids that are almost like a blank slate, the keywords are definitely. I searched for the cartoon title but it shows it's a 58 mins long, I'll definitely watch it because I already know the quality of the Tuttle Twins pump out.

Here's the 3 minutes cartoon that I was talking about: https://youtu.be/Zl-MNqkvrd4
822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would these two wallets be equally hard to brute force attack? on: May 28, 2023, 08:42:41 AM
The security of your wallet will only rely on the randomness of the seed phrase if you only use your seed phrase. On the other hand, adding a passphrase will add another layer of security since the passphrase is just another term for "password". Using a passphrase will definitely boost your security especially with the attack being a brute force, it will take the attacker at least 2 heat deaths of the universe before they can open the wallet so even if you're just relying on the seed phrase alone, you're good already.
823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing doesn't guarantee you to be rich on: May 28, 2023, 01:14:25 AM
Sometimes you need a little bit of luck
You do need it but it's ignorable if you are smart and analytical when it comes to investing, knowing the right companies, the behavior of the market, the trends in cryptocurrency market is enough ammunition for you to be able to make sensible and profitable investment strategy.

Investing doesn't guarantee you to be rich but if you know what you are doing, it's already guarantee that you can make some bread with investing, the rich part matters only by how much money you've put in that smart investment: smaller amounts will accumulate but it's a slow movement, large amounts on the other hand is like hitting the jackpot in a gameshow.
824  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin trading be my sole source of income? on: May 27, 2023, 06:07:50 AM
~
80% kinda high though possible. Just not that easy considering the volatility, don't you think?
Definitely not easy but OP said asked if trading can be his only source of income so 80% is what I felt the best estimate so OP can subsist on just trading.
825  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 120$ Loan defaulted by [Supreemo] on: May 27, 2023, 01:53:46 AM
Flag supported, I don't understand his stupidity that he ruined his career for just 120$. he was accepted in Sinbad with this account and he could be accepted in other compaigns also but i think greed forced him to take a short cut. Now his both accounts tagged and he might learned lesson well. With karmamiu he could earned 120$ in two weeks.
The fact that you're surprised people will sell their reputation at such a low low price means you're a kind person who doesn't judge people easily and assume the worst in someone but yes, some people like Supreemo are willing to go to the lowest or maybe we are judging too quickly, I've read and watched Gone Girl so I want to see both sides before I can be definite of who I will side but given the current evidences that this loan is a default, Supreemo needs some explaining to do.
826  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your favorite season to trade cryptocurrency? on: May 26, 2023, 10:23:14 AM
Definitely bear season for me although, I don't do short-term trades so I don't lose that much when I am "trading". If you're really experienced and you are also a good trader, I think that the season won't matter to you, be it bull or bear, there's always a way to make money in trading. See Futures trading for reference.
827  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wearing Double signature (Shan85) on: May 25, 2023, 02:25:17 AM
~
Well, in the case of Shan85, he will no longer be able to do business with this account, and it will cost him to build up another one from 0 if he does not have other alts to be able to receive the income he already had. He could have done things with patience, and at the same time that he was working for a campaign he could have created an alt and build it up so that in the future he could have two accounts for which he could get paid in two campaigns in a legal way, without anyone being able to red tag him. He could have been rich in a country doing this, but greed blinded him.
What you've proposed is much smarter than what Shan85 did, remember that time when they've caught an account farm that's been operating for a long time, the patience of that person to do it must've been comparable to an iron, but for Shan85, it seems that they don't plan for the long-term and they think that probably better doing the much easier way while the going is good.
828  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ethmine.xyz FAKE CLOUD MINING on: May 25, 2023, 01:03:17 AM
~

Doesn't matter we can fast forward to five years from now and there are still scammers using cloud mining, new people are coming in and they will see and read how attractive cloud mining is and this will entice them to invest especially if they see people's testimonials and proof of payout which are all fakes.
It's hard but you're telling the truth, as long as there are people that doesn't know or isn't informed about these types of scams, we will never see an end to people using this type of scheme to steal people's hard earned money. Either we inform a lot of people which is doable but takes time since some will resist the information due to ignorance or we start teaching children how to ask questions about all the things that they encounter, read and experience, fostering curiosity helps decimate ignorance.

~

Nothing like cloud mining exist to me than a bunch of scam in giving people hectic loads of task to do and pay them nothing at the end after promising them, wasting their time, data, and efforts given to ensure they have something to earn at the end, what a wicked world, all these are test run on their testnet before the mainnet arrives, there's nothing like bitcoin cloud mining for the sake of those that use to say there's a site created by Satoshi named cloud mining and you will be rewarded with some sats after the completion of task given, all these were nothing but pure scam.
These task oriented scam actually earns you money but you have to be the owner the scam but yeah, I can sympathize with that anger that you are feeling about these scams wasting people's time and effort, but we can't blame them, easy money blinds most people and they're blinded by the possibility of making bank with a supposedly easy task so they do it anyway.
829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Introducing my new Bitcoin book: Orange Pill'd on: May 24, 2023, 02:56:23 AM
It's kinda impudently to register there and promote your book right from the start without even trying to look like you're a part of the community.
You don't have to be rude about it though, don't other crypto platforms start quickly after creating their accounts to promote their company by conducting campaigns? So I don't think that OP here isn't doing anything wrong, you're just probably sensitive.

To OP, congratulations to you and hopefully your book launch will be a success and that you will be able to spread the word to people around the world the stories that you've collected.
830  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wearing Double signature (Shan85) on: May 24, 2023, 12:43:45 AM
It takes a smart crook to have such mind to carryout such an act. I have no doubt this account (shan85) might likely belong to a high ranked member here who knows how the system works here  and i believe he must have taken time to study the managers and have found out they do not really put eyes into that area and do not have any idea any member of their campaign would do such so he took advantage of the situation and has been on this act for long but became a scapegoat when luck ran against him. If this account can be doing such then it means there  are others he must have recruited to be carrying out such act on this platform. Possibly he has other accounts committing such crime.
Not really smart though, maybe mindful and sneaky. I like your idea that it could be an account of a high ranking member in the forum but the fact that Shan85 is switching signatures takes time and it's a possibility that he/she might've a job and that he/she might not have the time to do this especially if what you think is true that he/she does have another high ranking account.

Good catch OP, not a lot of people pay attention to this kind of thing especially if they know how to fly under the radar but there's proof and you can't really refute that.
831  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ethmine.xyz FAKE CLOUD MINING on: May 22, 2023, 08:06:44 AM
Goddamn, people are still falling for this scams? It's 2023 and these scammers hasn't changed their tactics and it's actually pretty awesome that they still get victims. To everyone who still dabble with this stupid scam, cloud mining isn't true, it never was, they're only after your money, the moment you put money in their site, it's not yours anymore.
832  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: % idiots among investors on: May 22, 2023, 05:32:44 AM
It is naive to only choose one thing to invest at times where the fiat currencies are dumping with high inflation
Totally, but the poll is actually sensible in a way. Gold is valuable and it can easily be traded if push comes to shove, it's naive yes but it's ignorant of us to say so especially if we don't know each individual investors financial standing, maybe they can afford to fully diversify their money so they just want to go for the sure shot investment.

I am a supporter of the idea that you always need to work on yourself. And trading is an industry where you need to work twice as hard. Too bad a lot of people don't take this into account.
You don't have to work hard as much, what you need to do when you are trading is that you need to be smart about how you do trades, do TA, gain experience and almost always go for safe routes and know when to do risky trades, that way, you don't need to work as hard as you should.
833  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A new era of trading? on: May 21, 2023, 12:59:39 AM
It doesn’t matter at all, if the US government interferes in the cryptos. If they make strict rules and regulations, it won’t affect a lot to be honest. Due to the decentralised nature of the cryptocurrencies, no governing body or person other than the investor can know how many digital assets or cryptos the trader is holding. So yes if they ban or put restrictions on exchanges in US, then the traders will completely shift to P2P trading. Yes we have seen these types of limitation in many places, so yes you can claim that this is a new era for all the traders.
Saying that it doesn't matter at all seem a bit of a stretch, US is still a big market and it's already proven that they have an effect on the market, remember when there was stimulus checks? It did have some effects on the market. Fanboys really think that being decentralized means that the world economy and market isn't going to affect the prices, people still buy goods and services with cash even if they use cryptocurrency most of the time.
834  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which wallet should a beginner choose? on: May 18, 2023, 02:12:40 AM
If you are only going to invest $200. Then just keep it on the exchange. Basically get a unique password, use non sms 2fa and don’t click any phishing links and your exchange will keep it safe for you.

You can get hardware wallet but for amounts that low it’s not worth it. You can try using electrum offline which would be free. Try and search this forum for instructions.
But OP wants to be safe, although I agree with you that keeping that in exchange might be the best option, maybe OP is considering increasing his/her investment if the wallet that OP will buy will prove to be effective for storing OP's crypto.

To OP,  you should consider factors such as security, ease of use, supported cryptocurrencies, and compatibility when choosing a wallet, don't have to sweat out that part though, as long as it's right in your budget and you're happy with it.
835  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Earning online more preferable than offline? on: May 17, 2023, 11:57:09 PM
There some people perefwred with the online way of earning or jobs because at first you don't need to get travel along way just to go to work and all the things because we accept the fact not all the time we do. something in the office and at the same time they use their time more and less exhausting.
Commuting in my opinion is an unpaid hours in working, I think that companies should incentivize the commuting part of work, maybe more people will consider working on-site rather than online or better yet, a pay rise should be a consideration. Regarding online work, it's difficult if you don't know where to look for work especially with an interconnected environment that we have right now, the competition is much more fierce than ever.

Fun fact, with more people working online, offices and companies will need less physical space which is bad for the real estate companies especially for those that own those big commercial buildings so if we can screw them even more, then I'm supporting whatever gets them even more screwed.
836  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you still advised more buy and store? on: May 15, 2023, 01:58:23 PM
It's a fine line between selling and keeping. The market is quite dynamic, and this line needs to be felt. Otherwise, it is quite difficult to get a result.
You need to also consider the fact that some people are recklessly investing their hard earned money in bitcoin without regards to their other daily expenses, remember that the pump won't happen anytime soon so take the time to accumulate your bitcoins.
837  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yet another bitcointalk account seller on: May 14, 2023, 11:27:14 AM

If buying an account is rampant on this forum then for sure scammers will just repeat this cycle and scam many users because they could easily do it. This is why many discourage user to do this action because we don't know the intention of the user in long run and might they will do a big time scam if those bought account will gain reputation. So its better to discourage this actions and put the mind of newbie that its better to create new account since if they start with scratch for sure they will not waste their account since they insert huge effort on building it.
Even if many discourages this action, you can't prevent people from doing shortcuts, that's why I applaud more the fact that the one I quoted tried to tell others to be careful doing transactions rather than discouraging it entirely, better if they don't get scammed.
838  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yet another bitcointalk account seller on: May 13, 2023, 08:22:54 AM
This bullshit!! How and in which forum and board someone sells such prices for such accounts for his sweat. The breakdown of prices of the accountseller is not clear. Is it that the accounts were hacked or he bought them with a cheap fees and selling them to get small gain. I support OP Rikafip that the prices of those accounts are too low. It is obviously clear that he wanted to use that means to scam those who are eager to buy account. If anyone is buying account at anywhere please, don't pay before receiving it. Receive the account and check the trust system of the account before you pay. Red tag will do the good judgment to the account so that anyone who want to make any transaction with him will retrieve himself.
The fact that you're you don't seem to mind that someone is buying an account makes me feel a bit suspicious of you dude, but hey, if we can't prevent people from buying accounts, might as well help them not get scammed, it's the highest good of the two if not polar opposites. The price breakdown imo seem clear, scammers want to look transparent as much as possible so they seem legitimate.
839  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Ethereum smart contract scam bot.... on: May 12, 2023, 11:27:33 AM
Finally YouTube deleted this video, I reported it but YouTube took long time to delete the video. In fact the scammers will come back again by uploading this video to another channel, as their past activity is seen as such. I will update here if they upload this video again on any other channel.
Given that there's millions if not billions of hours that YouTube has to filter through to moderate their content and ban explicit contents, you got to cut them some slack, not to mention that YouTube has a flawed moderating system where it bans unreasonably so you can't really rely too much, they delete videos that can easily be resolved through a couple of edits but pornography seems to be out of reach for YouTube sometimes.
840  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Chipmixer, blender.io fake mixer is still active on the internet. Avoid google🔎 on: May 12, 2023, 10:36:00 AM
snip
Wow, thanks for the links and articles, this case is such a big deal, I think we should've seen this coming, mixers are going to be used by criminal enterprises no matter how much we deny it but the fact that there are scammers out there that's using the name to scam bitcoins is just appalling, we can only hope that they've stolen only few bitcoin and if not maybe stolen the bitcoins of other criminals.
