Doesn't bitcoin have spam dust fee like litecoin to prevent this type of spam on the network?
I don't think the transactions will ever get confirmed will they? Doesn't matter, they still burden the network. I agree, it's not a matter of burdening the network. It's a pure spammy advertising which they're sending no transaction fee with. So technically, 1 BTC can send 100,000,000 transactions to different addresses. Let 1% of these check the link, you've got 1,000,000 visitors. Which $700 ad campaign can generate such traffic? Smart, but not ethical. Is there a way to stop this, or are the devs working on something?

The point is that the marijuana-shops don't want to keep Bitcoin, they want to accept Bitcoin and have it exchanged for USD, like most merchants accepting Bitcoin.
And then you end up using a payment processor like BitPay or Coinbase. And these have banking relations to maintain. And if the banks don't like dealing with marijuana-shops, they won't like it if they do so indirectly anyway through a Bitcoin payment-processor.
I'm sure they could just sell them on exchanges themselves or even sell them back to customers.

Too bad , no one should buy Drugs using Bitcoin.
Why not? You should be able to buy whatever you want with a currency (good or bad).

He'd feature somewhere. Obviously Benedict Cumberbatch would play DPR - he'll shift shapes, it's his type of role. After seeing what DPR looks like, someone like Emile Hirsch would be more appropriate I think. Benedict Cummberbund is too old. Hirsh could work. http://www.coindesk.com/5-actors-play-ross-ulbricht-silk-road-movie/Robert Pattison could too looking at that picture.

Well there is one and it's April
The entire month of April? What's the significance of April. Bitcoin's birthday would be make the most sense.

If you're expecting to send your BTC and get funds for PP there's a good chance you wont get anything back. You can always try it with a little bit though, but that still doesn't mean they wont scam on large amounts. I'm sure you'll be safer finding somebody on the forums here who is reputable and will buy coins for PP.

Mark Karpeles sure going to spill his Chai Tea Frappucino with soy milk and honey roasted almond topping all over his keyboard once he sees that.
Haha. Gox really needs to be boycotted by everyone though.

Dogecoin, the greatest pump and dump ever.
I wouldn't go that far. What was the highest price it ever traded for?

They don't need no bitcoin processor. Let them be their own bank. That's the whole point of bitcoin, right?
That's exactly my thinking. It's a shame payment processors are refusing to work with pot shops as Bitcoin could really flourish there, but maybe that'll open up the market for one that will specialise in this field, but my thought is always, do they even really need them? It's easy to be your own bank/payment processor with Bitcoin.

At least the poll came out nice " I use them regularly to buy goods/services 51.16% (88 votes)" I bet most people who voted for that haven't actually bought anything or much yet lol Ha, I thought about doing that just to help out the poll a bit, but then I'd be a liar. I wish there was a I currently own some but only for speculation but I want to use them regularly to buy goods/services option. .

A joke, only for fools, probably that was said about btc in the early days too. wow such opportunity Wow such bad English bunch of many ignorant fools. Nobody smart gives a damn about Doge. It's supposed to be funny. It's not meant to have real value. Just for fun, kind of like pokemon cards or something.. But it is supposed to be a currency and it's meant to have value.

MT.Gox is closing Coinbase will only accept US bank account. BTC-e so many stories of theft and coin that never arrives in wallet.
Can anyone offer advise on the most credible, secure and trusted BTC trading platform that will accept paypal, UK bank account or Debit card details please.
Many thanks.
I thoroughly recommend Bittylicious. UK-based company, simple to use, and you'll have your coins within 10 minutes with a bank transfer. You can't use PP, but you can use Pingit or Zip-zap.

Of course it's a potential threat as it is to most payment processors, but I think we're a long way off from it being a credible one. I think WU and PP will have to look at how they do business and change their practises though.

That really is a nice quote. No such thing as bad publicity holds true.
Of course there is, especially when the fickle ignorant public believe what they read. Sure, it's getting the Bitcoin name out there, but usually 'promoting' it in a negative light, but obviously intelligent people hopefully will do their own research and make their own mind up.

Putting Bitcoin near illegal activities only hurts general good spirit on Bitcoin.
It's not illegal though, and please elaborate exactly how it hurts the spirit of Bitcoin?
