Cant wait! This is going to be good!

Its been a total fail from the start. All hype and nothing to show for it.

The coin was announced on TV, but there was no wallet and is still no wallet. By Bitcointalk standards of alt coin release this has been a complete amateurish shambles. I have seen worse, but seen way better and much more professional releases.

Just shows all you need is hype and newbs clamour over it like it's a new goldrush. It's just gonna be another crapcoin with Keiser's name on it.

even so in all likelihood it will gain the market cap he is predicting..

What's he predicting?

I do all the editing.. have a lot to learn Tongue

Oh yeah... I forgot you were Brad Pitt haha

If you're taking criticism when you edit the pictures I think you should take it easy on the photoshopping.  In your first picture it looks like you're a mannequin or something haha.

You are referring to the skin? yeah, I tend to be a little heavy there but I was going for more of that heavy glamour effect with the heavy skin contrast and way too overdone skin brush.. Smiley And since it was a promo for sexcoin, I wanted to show a soft, untouched, angel skin Wink

I am really appreciating all your help, really Smiley

Yeah, the skin. I prefer the natural look, but maybe that's just me  Grin.

I've seen people asking for John K. escrow services today.
No offense intended, but can anyone at least demote him from global mod status, while leaving a warning on his "Custom Title", please?

He's already been demoted to Staff from Global Mod.

You might want to remove him from the trusted escrow list too. There's also a couple of others on there who haven't logged in in a while as well. mjester93 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=77766 hasn't logged in since May.

The links on the last five escrowers on the list are a bit suspicious too. They look like this: https://109.201.133.195/index.php?action=profile;u=161786 and come up Untrusted.

Quote
Gabriel Magee, vice president in Technology atJP Morgan Chase's London offices, plunged to his death Tuesday from the banking giant's riverfront skyscraper in London, reports from British news outlets say.

Magee, who had received favorable work reviews and an annual bonus, fell from the 33-story tower in the city's Canary Wharf section and was found on a roof belonging to the widening base of the building nine stories up, according to The London Daily Mail.

Scotland Yard was reportedly called to the scene about 8 a.m. local time. Detectives are not treating the death as suspicious, London media reports.

How is this in any way Bitcoin related, and why the red text?
15886  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] Adidas campus shoes on: January 28, 2014, 08:34:58 PM
If anyone have Adidas campus shoes or can get them for a good price please let me know your offer.

Might want to give more details. Where are you located and what price range you looking at? I'm sure there will be a few people who would be willing to get a pair drop shipped to you in exchange for BTC.
15887  Economy / Services / Re: Need an Escrow on: January 28, 2014, 08:31:02 PM
Trying to buy BTC either by BOA deposit or Moneypak with user KGambler. We have agreed on multiple occasions on trading but problem has always come about regarding escrow, no one is ever online and available. Were both fine with using escrow. If someone can please do this and is very well trusted please comment. Thanks!

15891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gifting on: January 28, 2014, 08:00:39 PM
The whole idea is to get experienced bitcoiners to have a purpose / direction / goal to strive for, for introducing Bitcoin to those who haven't heard of it or begun to use it yet. If the amounts were a little less, so that your average, say, Walmart worker could afford to get in, this idea might be a terrific method for promoting the whole Bitcoin idea, sort of like a game. Now for the advertising.

Smiley

So you're saying to get people involved in Bitcoin we should sell them an affordable pyramid scheme? This is exactly what we want to stay away from. Bitcoin should be promoted as a currency; not a get rich quick scam.
15892  Other / Meta / Re: MODS Give Us Back Giveaway Threads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: January 28, 2014, 07:55:28 PM
We have never had any intention to turn Bitcointalk into Crytptocointalk. The hope has always been that people will develop their own forums for their own coins,

Half of these devs can't even be bothered coming up with a decent name or coin logo so I doubt they'd spend time creating a new forum. The majority of the these coins wouldn't survive outside of this forum anyway and even with big coins like Litecoin their forums are pretty much dead.

I was surprised that we got new subsections when we did, but I think having a separate subsection for giveaways would've solved most problems here.
15893  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A friend's idea to promote on: January 28, 2014, 06:16:02 PM
the idea is to promote btc (and/or sxc) ..so let's keep it classy and tasteful -cover your cock with a sock, or logo, or whatever you need to do.

I don't know how classy I could keep it wearing that... thing haha. I think a Bitcoin logo to cover my modesty would be more apt, especially since I don't have Monica's design skills  Wink.

Maybe you can send me the original picture and I do the editing for you Wink

Haha, maybe a good idea. Make it more pleasing to the eye haha.

Oh I will Smiley

Mind sending some test shots? lol

Sure:

Haha. Do you do all the editing Monica, or does someone else?

what is the source of this list?
how has it been created

I'v seen a completely different listing few days ago
is this even updated?

Link please.

This one is not updated, because it was not possible to get enough information to make it reasonably accurate.

Think he's a spambot or is copy and pasting replies:

15896  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2014-01-27 Multiple sources: Bitcoin officially banned in Russia on: January 28, 2014, 06:01:23 PM

A warning not to use it or you'll be punished? The other link in one of the other threads seemed to suggest it was prohibited.
15897  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New to it all! on: January 28, 2014, 05:57:25 PM
Today I've started this little adventure, I have a few questions:
1. I've gone on the free sites to gain minute amounts of BTC, what's the best way to gain a sufficient amount, is it just mining?
2. Little debate here, obviously the BTC has grown massively, but, do you think something else could come up to match this virtual currency? Increase competition and bring the price of the BTC down?

1) You're not gonna gain much if anything at all mining unless you invest in expensive equipment. If you want to mine, go far one of the crapcoins that you can easily trade to BTC.
2) Doubt anything will come close unless it's truly revolutionary. I'm sure Litecoin will keep on rising even though it'll always be far behind.

15899  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Weighted Average or direct price from a specific exchange? on: January 28, 2014, 05:49:20 PM
Just use preev. It's an average of a handful of the biggest exchanges. http://preev.com/btc/

preev includes MtGox prices, which inflates the value.

To the OP: I would just use whichever exchange you use to convert to local currency with. Bitstamp and BTC-e will typically stick rather close to eachother, so the difference for the customer should be small. Just add a notice for customers informing them where you get your exchange rate from.

You can choose which exchanges make up the average from the options.

Anyone seen The Counselor? Great cast but it got panned by a lot of critics.

Haven't seen it yet but I'm a Ridley Scott fanboy... So I eventually will!

I haven't been blown away by anything he's done recently. Think he's past his prime. He did a lot of great films early on like Alien & Blade Runner. Prometheus was decent. I hope the next one goes more into the actual Alien story though.
