16041  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any btc offer sites that are easy and actually worth my time? on: January 27, 2014, 11:08:56 AM
Hello everyone just wondering if there are any sites that allow users to earn bitcoins that are actually worth the time you have to put in?

tl;dr: NO.

This. The best way to earn coins is by what you are doing now; posting on the forums. Other sites are a waste of time. If you have any skills you could offer them on the services section. People always need coding and documents translating etc if you can do any of that.
16042  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: USDe - have you checked it out? on: January 27, 2014, 11:06:46 AM
You didn't say anything truthful - you just came in and insulted the coin because you're a sad little internet troll. I just asked you to keep your little baby drama elsewhere - talk about a high school kid, going around and trying to put people and things down because it makes you feel better about your own tiny little existence. I pity you... but not enough to continue communicating with you. You are now blocked.

As far as the coin is concerned - I'm no developer, but as I said - if anyone has any (real) questions about the coin, I can try to find out the answers for you... but most answers will be found in the thread that I've linked to. The community is very good... over 125 pages and the coin is two weeks old... there have been fundraisers for wounded vets, contests, giveaways, etc... the devs are very responsive and active and the coin is on a smaller - yet effective exchange.

All of these things early on speak volumes about a coin's future - even a high school kid should know that.

Please tell me what was trollish or untruthful about what I said: "People say this has a active community/great devs about every coin." That's pretty truthful. This is exactly what people say when their coin offers nothing new, which applies to your coin, and like most other children they start crying and throw their toys out of the pram when somebody says something factual about their coin because they can't handle the truth.

16044  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do free faucets pay ? on: January 27, 2014, 10:58:56 AM
How much can you earn from faucets?

I did an experiment on faucets for about a month. Since I'm online most of the day anyway, I tested it out whenever I got a chance to waste some time. And it was time wasted indeed. After using various faucets and filling out countless captchas for about a month I made around .60 USD.

Definitely only worth it for the faucet owners making money from ads.

I think you answered your own question here. Not very much haha. They're a complete waste of time.

Thats a good question, I mean I`d assume its from google ads.

But also referring to other sites as well, so referral commissions add up as well.

Yeah, their money comes from ad hits etc.
16045  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New to the forum and to altcoin on: January 27, 2014, 10:56:51 AM

You don't need to post in here as there's no newb restrictions any more.

Found this video interesting:
Amazon's Jeff Bezos looks to the future
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6in-MZeeeGk

Was quite interesting. Those little shoe things or whatever they were called knocking packages into chutes were quite bizarre.

But I'm still pretty sure this Drone thing will never happen and it was largely just a publicity stunt though.

Just recently watched, "Chronicle". If you like a slight sci fi, plus with reality its a decent watch.

I saw that at the cinema, it was okay. I was intrigued at the beginning but think I got a little bored towards the end.

Sinister (Ethan Hawke) is another film that started well and got silly towards the end - it could have been such a good film. Psychologically freaky Shocked

Started off great but it went to shit at the end.

I liked Chronicle a lot. I think they're doing a sequel too. Should be interesting to see where they take the characters that are left.

I enjoyed it too. I wonder if the main character will come back evil or do good with his powers?

Anyone else looking forward to the new Christopher Nolan film next year, Interstellar? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyc6RJEEe0U

Yep. Very looking forward to it. Nolan's cinematographer has a film coming out too Transcendence: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCTen3-B8GU

I have some wonderful 3D movies. But I can’t play them with my PC, iphone, ipad and even using the TV box on my TV. That’s very annoying. So is there any way for me to play the 3D movies? I heard there are some TVs with Wiggle Stereoscopy. Do I need to buy such a TV to play the 3D movies?

I'd suggest just buying a decent 3D tv if you want to enjoy 3D films.

Don't really like Tom Hanks though.

Interesting... I love the guy, and so far I never heard of anyone disliking him. I think you're in luck though, the nature of the movie makes it so there's not a whole lot of character acting and everything is delivered pretty matter of fact and straight forward. Watch it like an intense documentary and you'll get a kick out of it for sure, you see a lot of epic naval shit.

Sweet, might have to check it out. Yeah I just don't rate him. Dunno what it is cos he's a decent actor. Just something that makes me dislike him. Lol

I wouldn't say Hanks is a great actor, far from terrible, but he hasn't got much range. But saying that, I haven't even seen Forest Gump.

You haven't seen Forest Gump! It's amazing. He's actually really good in that, forgot that one.

I haven't seen Philadelphia either.  He played a few different parts in Cloud Atlas, but I've not seen that. I read the book and thought it was shit though. Had to really push through to finish it, but I think it'll work better as a film so I'm looking forward to watching it, especially since the Wachowski siblings directed it, but they haven’t done anything great since The Matrix. I need to watch that trilogy again.

I'm sure it's already been mentioned but it's not on your list, but you get 100 free satoshis to gamble with on Primedice. You can ask to be whitelisted and get 1000 each time.

16058  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-01-26] PayPal: Bitcoin not mature enough to become a full-fledged .. on: January 26, 2014, 08:54:03 PM

I suppose you could say that Bitcoin isn't mature enough yet as obviously it needs time to grow and be accepted by the mainstream and this will take time. It's not going to happen over night with such a new and revolutionary concept.

I have come to the conclusion that anyone who brings up the volatility argument and no other arguments are too lazy to take the time to learn and understand bitcoin.  They just see wild swings in price and draw conclusions from that, and they never say that most of the volatility has been UP.

I agree that bitcoin is not yet ready for primetime mostly because of end user security, but volatility is just a lousy argument.

Stability will come naturally, but volatility is to be expected with a concept/currency as young as Bitcoin, but it is a weak argument against it.

16060  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: USDe - have you checked it out? on: January 26, 2014, 08:44:41 PM
Might I suggest to interested miners out there that you check out the USDe . The USDe is interested in competing with fiat money one day. It shot up in value from around 150 to 450/550 satoshis yesterday and it's only 2 weeks old! The developers are very committed and the community is very involved and always expanding.

People say this has a active community/great devs about every coin. And there's only one coin that will compete with fiat and we all know which that one is.

Yes, except we all know that isn't true. You can check out the thread and it speaks for itself.

Keep the drama elsewhere, thanks.

Spoken like a true bagholder who cries when you criticise his crapcoin. What speaks for itself exactly? The great "community"?. All the claims of this coin are hot air just like all the others.

Okay, cupcake. I'm sorry you're so bitter that you have to resort to internet forum drama to validate your existence. I won't continue to acknowledge yours, lil guy.

I didn't start drama, you did just because I said something truthful about your crapcoin. Some reasons why this currency is so great would be nice, but instead you provide nothing but petty insults, but that's to be expected because the maturity and intelligence from the people who usually deal in these alts is that of a high school kid, so well done lil guy.
