1521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 06, 2023, 09:49:58 PM
I came across an article How Old Do You Have to Be to Gamble in USA?. In this article, i saw that the minimum age to gamble is between 18 to 21 years. I wonder if the online casino do follow this minimum age for gambling.

Yes, the gambling sites have our age data through the KYC documents. Do they ever restrict anyone who is underage to not to gamble?
Also, if we find any site allowing minors to gamble, can legal action be taken against them?

In a physical casino, the entry of people who do not have the minimum age can generate very serious consequences for the establishment, from heavy fines to the interdiction of the place and collection of the permission to operate.

However, in an online casino it is much more difficult to apply punishments for two reasons:
The first is the difficulty in finding or finding evidence that these people are gambling;
Second is the impossibility of imposing fines or restricting access to the site if it is operating on a site that is hosted outside the jurisdiction where the crime was caught.

So, I think it's worth making a complaint, if possible, to the body that issued your operating license or to the competent local authorities, but I don't advise you to spend more efforts than that to try to reach a punishment for the site that is committing this offense.

1525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: increased Youtube Gambling ads? on: July 05, 2023, 10:21:10 PM
I'm asking out of curiosity, are you guys experiencing a surge of gambling ads on youtube videos lately? this past week I've experienced an increased encounter of gambling ads on videos I watch on youtube. it's not that it bothers me, I am just surprised because I don't remember getting this many gambling ads on youtube videos in the past, but this past week, I usually get a gambling ad from 2-3 out of 5 videos I watch(it's just an estimation because of how often I get the ads). I don't know if it is because I recently watched several videos of streamers gambling or it's just a coincidence, I've watched streamers gambling videos in the past but I have never gotten this many gambling ads.

Yes, for several reasons...

Gambling ads are expanding across multiple media, not just YouTube, so it's normal to see more of them even if it's not influenced by any other factor.

Another issue is the type of videos you watch, Google's intelligence will always try to deliver you relevant ads. So if you watch more videos about gambling or "how to make money" it's normal that gambling ads are more predominant for you.

If the last point I mentioned is not your case, then Google is probably learning your habits based on your searches and pages you visit. My recommendation is that you use an anonymous browser like DuckDuckGo and a browser that respects your privacy like Brave for example.
1526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Discussion - Being an Active Poster in the Gambling Board on: July 05, 2023, 10:15:06 PM
Our history of posts indicates that many of us are active contributors to the gambling board. We engage in discussions about various aspects of gambling, including sports betting, different casino games, and even stories, whether real or fictional. The topic of gambling addiction has been extensively covered, to the point where one could compile a short book on the subject just from our discussions. We have also shared our opinions and insights on gambling strategies. Considering all of this, I would like to ask:

  • Has being an active participant in the gambling section helped you develop more effective strategies for winning bets?
  • Has it aided you in overcoming gambling addiction (if you were addicted) or developing healthier gambling habits?
  • Have you noticed an overall improvement in your gambling experiences?

Let's delve into this topic because beyond simply increasing post counts, there must be genuine benefits to actively participating in these discussions.

I can say, firstly, that I have been active in sports betting long before I started participating in this tab.
The obligation to post here "forced me" for the Duelbits subscription campaign forced me to participate more actively in this board, but this is not a bad thing, quite the contrary...

I've seen posts here that helped me to beware of scams, motivational posts (others exactly the opposite) that helped me to rethink my gaming habits so as not to fall into addiction.
I have already followed some posts that helped me to be more accurate in betting.

And also, even if I didn't need to post here anymore, I would hardly stop posting on Gambling because I participate in several interesting discussions about the events I follow, mainly F1 and Football.
1527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 04, 2023, 11:29:58 PM
I think the best drivers of this race were Perez, Sainz and Norris. Especially Perez's rise was really worth watching.

So... Ferrari really saw a huge improvement in the performance of their car driven by Leclerc this past weekend, and I believe a lot of that is due to the upgrade they carried out with the new floor and front wing. But, Leclerc has already said that his car still has a weakness in straight line speed, which could possibly expose the team at the British GP at Silverstone.

From what I've been reading, this new Ferrari design was thought not only to increase the downforce but also to make the SF-23 more "soft" (I don't know how to explain it/what term to use).

Anyway... Initially it seems to me that the update gave the impression of having worked as expected, as Leclerc easily won the second position on Friday, half a tenth of pole Max Verstappen, while Carlos Sainz shone on Sunday, but I think Leclerc will need to remain cautious for the British GP, held at a high-downforce circuit like Silverstone, and could be a real test of the evolution of the Italian team.
1528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 04, 2023, 11:19:19 PM
I see today there was news that Al-Hilal is ready to offer Neymar a contract for 3 years, in the amount of 600 million euros. If we take into account the fact that the bosses of PSG have long wanted to sell Neymar and the dissatisfaction of the fans with his game, then Neymar may well be interested in changing the club. Although if Enrique becomes the coach, then Neymar would like to stay, because they had a good working relationship. But there is a possibility that PSG could lose all of their top strikers if Mbappe and Neymar decide to leave the club and agree transfers with new clubs.

Yet another tempting offer... in fact, the Saudi club surprised the football world by presenting a millionaire offer to the Brazilian striker, as the club proposed a contract worth 600 million euros to the Paris Saint-Germain player and I would bet that Neymar will accept this proposal (if it were up to him alone).
Obviously, the return of the Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, which was also confirmed today, would help with this signing, as Neymar is a darling of the Portuguese coach.

I think this should be decided soon, as Neymar's relations with PSG are in turmoil and his continuity in Paris seems increasingly uncertain.
1529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Virtual bug? on: July 04, 2023, 11:10:47 PM
Note that, the casino system is designed to favour the house and for that, if there is no fairness in the system it then means the casino is at liberty to treat the gambler in whichever their can and so long as the casino is a business outfit,  it then means that there will do everything possible to protect their interest.

So even in a sure winning bet,  the casino doesn't mind manipulating the games just to suit their own interest against that of the player.

Man, it's really? Since when did wrong become right?

In a business relationship of any kind, justice must always prevail, what you said sounds ridiculous to me and I hope it's just a joke on your part.

Bookmakers already have the house advantage, something that makes you a lot of money and that should be reason enough for them against players.

In the same way that I must accept the site's rules when registering, the site must also respect the transparency and fairness of the bets that the player makes.

Anyway, I know that there are lots of fraudulent sites out there, so it's good to bet only on those that have a reputation to uphold.
1530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DISCUSSION-How hard is it to beat a sportsbook? on: July 04, 2023, 11:04:23 PM
~snip~

I have tried everything in betting world and for the first time in over 15 years I believe that it's time to change profession. I am still making really nice figures but with way more effort and dificulties than before.
Reason for this post is that I want to hear experiences from other bettors and maybe we can help each other with advices

In fact, I see that betting sites are "regulating" to provide entertainment and not profit to players.
I've never played for money, and I know my story isn't what you want to hear.

However, it is necessary to verify that KYC is a requirement that is becoming global in any casino, forget the comparison with the past, this does not exist anymore and it is not the fault of the bookmakers.

Second, if you want to earn money not by luck but consistently then unfortunately you are in the wrong business for today, in fact you need to look for another way to guarantee your "keep".

Unfortunately the words are not easy, but in fact it is necessary to face that casino games are entertainment where you can or not win a lot of money by mixing your skills with luck.

1532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: July 02, 2023, 06:22:05 PM
Considering a retirement would be the ideal term for Messi's situation even if he already said that he will no longer join the Argentina in the 2026 World Cup and just like what @Maslate said above, it is not the first time that he said about his retirement in the national team, so I think that is already a clear sign that there is still a chance that Messi will participate together with his team because it will be an honor for him and for his team to defend the championship.

I believe that Messi will be able to play in the next World Cup, because although he initially said that it would be the last of his life, he later corrected it by saying that he was not completely ruling out the possibility of playing in the next World Cup in 2026 .

Lionel Scaloni has already assured that he will leave the shirt number 10 reserved for Messi in the next World Cup and if Messi is physically fit (now almost 36 years old) then he will certainly wear that shirt.

Unfortunately it will be a disappointment for Messi, because this time they will lose to Brazil Tongue

Germany forward Kai Havertz, 24, has become Arsenal's highest-paid player on £17m a year after joining from London rivals Chelsea. Will Havertz justify such a high salary?

Then, Havertz had also been signed by Chelsea in 2020 as a potential "star" but he never delivered the quality of play that was expected. Could it be different at Arsenal?

The truth is Havertz was, for some reason very hidden from me, a player monitored by Arsenal from a very early age. Indeed he was a promising player from the youth ranks and many today call him a "phenomenon" but although I believe he is indeed a good player, I think Chelsea and Arsenal were wrong to spend so much money on him, that could be better used in another way.

Anyway... this was a signing that was already "loyal" for a long time, now we can only hope that Havertz actually shows results in his new home.
1534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you find it offensive to be referred to as an addicted gambler? on: July 01, 2023, 01:19:07 AM
Many people find it difficult to accept who they are and the bad habits that they have, accepting a habit is the first step that will determine if any help offered to you will work. As a gambler, will you find it offensive if you are referred to as a gambling addict? will you easily accept it or try to give excuses like some other people do, saying that they are not addicted to gambling when the signs are clearly there. Do you think identifying as an addicted gambler will make people stereotype you. The answer is different for every gambler here.

So I would be offended.

In fact, I think I'm addicted Tongue because I can't put down regular bets anymore.
On the other hand, I have full control of the bets I place, the money and time I spend on sports games, so I wouldn't feel comfortable if someone called me an addict.

And also considering that I play for fun and not for money, so I think that at least we can say that this is a healthy addiction, not in the pejorative sense like an addiction to alcohol, drugs or cigarettes for example, which is harmful to health. .
In my case, the "addiction" to gambling only benefits me because I know the limits and control it.

Bankroll: $40,000

Bet #1: Club A. Guiles - San Martin S.J. OVER 1.5 GOALS @ 1.51 | $40,000 TO WIN $20,400

~snip image~

I will be posting my picks on here for FREE. Tail at your own risk and BET RESPONSIBLY.

Special shoutout to married couple Joel and Fernanda for sponsoring this challenge!

I haven't followed your previous bets, but I see that you are quite ambitious.
Are you going to bet all-in from start to finish or do you want to make fractional bets after reaching a certain amount?

If you go all-in, it will take 13 to 15 bets (approximately) to reach 4kk, it's a "painful" path there, but I hope you can.

I would also like to know if you already have a pre-selected game strategy to bet on and/or what is your criteria for choosing them.

Maybe I'll follow some of your bets too.
I wish you good luck!

Chupa zona do euro!  Cheesy

1538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Conmebol Libertadores 2023 - Prediction and Discussion Thread on: June 30, 2023, 12:38:38 AM
Im late on comment here, because all the groups doesnt have so much drama in the end.

Yes really good odds thinking on Corinthians against Liverpool (u), the only thing because i dont put money on it was because Corinthians Santos and other teams from Brazil are making a really bad run in international cup(i dont understand why).

The team that doesnt stop surpirsing me its Independiente del Valle..... man that guys its something really strange, every year they make a epic tournament since the time when they reach the final of Libertadores in 2016. And their teams are not good in term of names, because in them play a lot of players from Argentina who came from the third division for example.

I watched the best moments of this last Independiente del Valle game and it seems to me that both teams were very balanced at the beginning of the game.

But in fact, Independiente seem to have extra strength in this championship and Díaz's goal, in addition to being very beautiful (a strong and accurate grip on the ball that swelled the net with force) must have been the point that marked the right moment for Independiente improve their position on the field and come back stronger in the second half.

Although Independiente still conceded two goals (one of them at the very end of the second half), it seemed to me that they dominated the game better and deserved this victory.

Speaking of Internacional... he also beat Independiente Medellín by 3x1 and secured his classification (still undefeated)

1540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: June 30, 2023, 12:10:04 AM
It will be already 6th World Cup for Marta - what a legend. Offcourse, she isn't performing like she used to do 10 years ago, but her experience will be very important for Brazil. They should qualify from group, but they aren't seen among favorites to win title.

In fact, Brazil is still not seen as one of the favorite teams, not least because it is only 9th in the FIFA ranking.

Brazilian women's football has grown a lot in recent years, this is confirmed by the good performance of national clubs that have raised their level of football a lot, such as Corinthians, Ferroviária, Internacional and Palmeiras.
But when you assemble a national team with the best players from these teams, unfortunately it isn't possible to obtain the same performance... a reflection of this was the last elimination of the Brazilians by France still in the round of 16.

But, despite Brazil still not having any title, they have very important campaigns in the World Cup, having conquered the third place in 1999 and the second in 2007 when by an unfortunate blow Marta's shot ended up in the opponent's crossbar in that final. to Germany.

One day the Brazilian title will arrive, it could be this year... Marta merci, but for now I'm not going to bet on it yet.
