I think rather than airdrop bounties are more rewarding. I haven't seen yet any project whose bounty rewards are lower than airdrop. Or maybe I missed any.
We can also participate in both Airdrop and social media bounties. Sometimes with more campaigns rather than Facebook and Twitter, Reddit, LinkedIn, Instagram, the scope is much higher for rewards.
But I have seen that article and video campaigns are most rewarding.

Even though cryptocurrencies are based on blockchchain technology, whose main objective is transparency and security, we are seeing exactly opposite to this at the moment.
Due to recent situation of hacking on renowned exchanges, users have lost millions of dollars. Also everywhere there are scammers including few ico projects are trying to cheat people to grab free money.
This in turn losing the confidence among the people about cryptocurrencies.
With the introduction of regulations, situation can change. Due to regulations, responsibilities will be staying and thus only genuine projects will come.

The decision is completely depends on which altcoins we are holding. Is it from to ten or twenty list as per market capitalization?
If we know the future, I mean the confidence on the project that the coins will give profit someday, we should hold it. If otherwise, can be used for investing in new projects.
One should always stick to some rules before investing in any project.
Invest the amount of which you can bear the losses.
Never invest 100% of your budget.
Long term investments are good.
When doown trend, we should keep looking for opportunities to accumulate.
And patience.

This is very crucial thing to make sure that our investment is safe by holding the alt coins. We have to be very careful and need to keep updated with the project. Here cryptocurrencies world is far different from the forex or share market where we can invest for long term and sit back.
Here there are many changes within few moths like token swap, platform change(latest example of TEMCO tokens where it will be changed from RRC20 to ERC 20) and so on. If we dont keep updated ourselves with the project development, there are chances that we may lose our investment in that project.

Very well written and explained. This is the kind of checklist which every bounty hunter should follow. It is very important that the initial stage which is joining of any project is correct, by selecting a good and genuine project. There are many ways through which we can recognize the legit projects, however
still sometime we can fall into trap of scam project. And this is the time, the moment we know its scam and we will not get anything, or all the efforts are wasted, we should not regret the decision joining the project. We must move on with positive attitude as you said and being optimistic, we should continue working smarter than harder.

Very well said and very straight forward. Patience is one of the most important factor once you invested in any project. There is no upward movement possible without any downtrend.
To jump higher, we have to get lower.
I see the bear market as an opportunity to invest more.
There is another side to this, that, we have to keep close eye on the projects development or updates as few projects many not survive and the value can be near zero.
So patience is good but off course with some timeline.

I would say this is not yet "start" of cryptocurrencies. This is just an introduction or beginning of cryptocurrencies. There is lot more to get explored, research and evaluate.
When the internet was newly introduced, no one has thought about it's benefit or use of today's life.
There will be many ups and downs will come to cryptocurrencies market but the genuine and strong projects will always lead the market and will keep or increase the confidence of investors.

I think you are right about IEO and bounty work. It also depends on which exchange project is planning IEO. In case it's binance, then to some extent we can say that additional marketing is not required due to it's huge user base.
Many times when project launches, it's not decided at that moment about IEO event. So as soon as any project comes into market, it's bounty hunters only who make aware other users about it.
IEO can have some impact to bounty works but I feel there are many different marketing strategies required to promote the project and bounty is one of the part of it.

I agree with you to some extent. At the beginning of bounty program, projects mention something like a million dollar value bounty. But when the tokens get listed, bounty hunters get only penny, few dollars. If bounty hunters get payment in ETH instead of their tokens or coins, it will have two positive impacts, bounty hunters will get their rewards in real value and since they dont receive project token or coin, it will not be dumped and the price will be stable. Bounty hunters can then buy these tokens or coins with their ETH rewards if they feel the project is good which will surely increase the demand of tokens.
However, seems project's knows real value of their token, it might be expensive for them to reward with ETH.

Now a days every system, is possible to transformed into blockchain technology ecosystem. It's very much possible to design a very good looking website with lot of graphics in it. I have seen there are thousands of boots possible in telegram community.
So if we feel the project is good, we have to get ourselves engaged daily in community discussions. This will keep us updated about project specifically the development part. We also consider at what stage product development is.
If we have technical knowledge GitHub code also can give better idea about project and your analysis can be better.
One of the thing I have observed that if any product is already existing and through a project they are transitioning to blockchain technology, it's most likely genuine project. For example, Bankera.
There are many other factors which can be checked to know if any project is good by or not.
Regulations to cryptocurrency and ICOs is permanent solution to it.
