1561  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 LionSlots777.io - Best Slots Casino on: December 03, 2022, 05:45:02 PM
None of the college students enrolled today and then graduated the next day, let's give OP a chance, let's not justify it because nothing starts. Let's just follow it for now after 1 week.

Looking at the software used by the casino and how the OP try to promote it here, it does not worth to give them a chance and wait for at least a week.
If you are aware about the existence of older projects which looks similar to this one, I'm sure you'll know what is the reason why it does not worth to wait and give them a chance.
Yes they have just started, but they did not start it really well because of the well known cheap software (mostly used by scammer) and bad start as well with the ANN thread.

Besides the casino is using cheap software, Their KYC requirements to collect personal info of players upon registration is the major turn off for this casino to not trust them during there launch. All of the characteristic of poorly designed and management is on this casino that gives a scent of a major red flag.

I agree that they are new so that they can have room for improvement but there current status is really not worth it to even try and risk money. I hope the OP will rebrand there casino before opening it to the public if they are really serious on their business.
from some of the reviews I've read, there's a lot of bad reviews I've seen, bad situations like they won't get any users here, there's a lot of people here who have a lot of experience with casinos, so yeah of course they don't deserve it and it's just a waste of time for those promoting casino site here , I also think it is not too hard to buy Copper member , and find good designer services for their thread , but get ignored very bad start

Well, if any representative does not want to buy a copper membership for whatever reasons, that is acceptable but all these negative feedbacks about the gambling site is not tolerable. People will only play at gambling site which are honest and have good feedback.

Since the competition between gambling sites is high on bitcoin talk, no compromise of feedback will be borne by the gamblers, and they will continue playing at old trusted sites.

Anyways it still early days for LionSlots777 and they can still improve themselves based upon the feedback provided the gamblers and try to reform themselves.
1562  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: My dad got a Ledger from Best Buy.... on: December 03, 2022, 04:27:30 PM
My dad recently told me he finally got a ledger but not from where I told him to get it from 😅. After speaking with him about the current conditions in the market that he is well aware of I explained to him that even with a major retailer like Best Buy it’s not wise to take ANY chances.

It's better to buy a hardware wallet from an official website but even if you have bought from best buy or any third party marketplace, if you can reset the device, the passphrase can be reset too and the device will be safe to use. Isn't ?

A Ledger Nano S Plus is just $90. If you're a long-term investor, that purchase should be a total no-brainer. Why use a hardware wallet just when you already have $100k? Heck, I purchased my first hardware wallet when I had like $2000.

Every penny is important so if you want your bitcoin to be safe, you should buy a hard wallet irrespective of whether you have a million dollars or a mere 1000 dollars.
1563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or altcoin? on: December 02, 2022, 07:18:00 PM
I personally believe that one should not tell others where to put their money, but rather guide them and help them to do their own research. I think investments are quite a personal think.

In that order of ideas, if someone asked me where to invest then I would likely present the pros and cons of those altcoins in the top 10 and also the things one needs to keep in mind while holding Bitcoin. In the end, it is better when people invest in something their actually believe in and not only because someone gave them unprofessional advice.

It is quite obvious that bitcoin is far more safe investment than altcoins but most retail investors failed to understand this reality.
Yes, the investment is everyone's personal and individual decision, and they are responsible for any loss or profit from investment in cryptocurrencies.

I think instead of remaining silent; it is better to guide our near and dear ones to invest in bitcoin and don't get greedy seeing the altcoins returns are more that the bitcoin investment. It is our duty to at least tell them the truth that altcoins investments can be risky (also give them examples of FTX and LUNA scams) and then let them decide where they want to invest.
1564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are some government scared of Bitcoin? on: November 29, 2022, 05:25:33 PM

Making Bitcoin a legal tender means when a person goes to purchase a commodity, instead of paying with dollar or whatever currency is being used, they pay with BTC.

Given the unstable nature of cryptocurrencies, and the untraceable nature, would you suggest it wise for countries to adopt Bitcoin as a legal tender?

Recently, El Salvador and Central African Republic announced that they have adopted Bitcoin as a legal tender.

Not some governments but all governments are afraid to make bitcoin legal tender. Some governments follow the policies of the United States and the western world, even if they want to make bitcoin legal tender, they will hesitate until they get a green signal from these western countries.
Those countries that adopt bitcoin are usually those that have bad financial conditions and are near defaulters. They adopt bitcoin as legal tender to re-grow their economy.
1565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want sell my house for bitcoin on: November 29, 2022, 05:11:56 PM
is there not too rash in this matter.
selling a house need a process if you want to get a value that matches the value of the house itself
as we know investing in crypto has a very high risk of loss and if it has been hit it will be lost forever,
My advice is to invest properly and be ready to lose,
have a nice day

If bitcoin was of a price near 50,000$, then there was a risk that if you sell the house and bought bitcoin at a such high price and then bitcoin might dump, and you lose your money. However, in the current situation where the bitcoin price is a little over 16,000$, selling the house and buying bitcoin can be a good investment. Bitcoin might dump two or three thousand, but if he can hold the bitcoin, he could easily 5x-6x money when bitcoin will reach nearly 100,000K.
1566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Strong Hands Are Buying on: November 29, 2022, 04:27:45 PM
A simple reason is enough to understand why it is good to make ourselves among he strong hands. People continue to buy whenever the market turn negative. At that moment fear too accompanies thinking whether the recovery will happen or not. The simple answer for this, we need to calculate the percentage of people into cryptocurrency last year and this year. With time the users have increased, usage have increased and so will be the demand. This shows the supply demand mechanism push the price harder.

What's crypto?  We are talking about bitcoin in this thread.

Strong hands are buying bitcoin.

Whales are buying bitcoins

Intelligent investors are buying bitcoin

Governments are accumulating bitcoin

And those who are accumulating altcoins are greedy non-sense bunch of retail investors, who will get rekt one day or the other. Every day a crypto will be dead but only bitcoin is here to stay forever.
1567  Economy / Gambling / Re: Black Friday fever: do you wait for extra bonuses from casinos? on: November 29, 2022, 03:56:55 PM
Black Friday is celebrated by the citizens of the United States of America. They wait for this day with great interest throughout the year. A large part of the savings of the whole year is also spent on this day. Various shops or shopping malls have huge discounts on this day. Which is not available on other days of the year.

In the Black Friday various gambling platforms offers with maximum benefits to the gamblers. After being busy throughout the year, gamblers are also delighted when extra benefits are available on this day. Enticing offers from various casino platforms make every gambler more lively and happy. Every gambler looks forward to this day again and again. Variety of offers to give them maximum support to enjoy something different even for a ‍short period of time.

Not only black Friday, but Cyber Monday is also celebrated with the same discounts as were given on black Friday. Usually, the whole weekend is full of discounts, and gambling casinos also give their players promotions and bonuses.
I wonder how many gamblers may have spent more money on gambling only because they see lush offers that are hard to resist. Probably today will be the last day where we can gain benefits from these offers. Smiley
1568  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will BTC's market price go? on: November 29, 2022, 03:31:45 PM
In general BTC stay in a bear market and find its bottom next year of the bull season.
wait what ? bottoming next year of the Bull reason? can you explain this please?
This is what I think he meant:

Assuming bitcoin got to all-time-high in 2017, decreased below $4000 in 2018, 2019 and 2020. Although, the lowest price during the period was still in 2018 which was around $3100 to $3200 or so, while it decreased to around $3800 in both 2019 and 2020. Those price were very close to 2018 lowest price. Probably he is thinking something like that could still happen this time too, or to the extent their could be bull run which can be followed by a bear market that bitcoin price may decrease further below the recent lowest price.

Well, bitcoin made the lowest price of nearly 3000$ - 4000$ twice because in 2020 we had the covid crash which brought the price again to the lowest price. This may not repeat in 2022 and 2023 as there is no way humanity will face a disease like covid again, not possible at least in the short term.
I think this time we may see the lowest price only one and it could be a wick down to 9000$ to 10,000$. I don't think bitcoin can go below this seeing the onchain analysis.
1569  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the chances of FTX raising funds... on: November 28, 2022, 06:13:33 PM
According to the latest news, FTX has given up fighting against opinions and facts, so it chose to file for bankruptcy in court, of course this is the best step even though it makes many investors and consumers lose money, an important lesson for exchanges owners not to manipulate data.

When a company files bankruptcy, it means they do not have the funds to repay the customers and also they are unable to find the investors who could support the company. Filling a bankruptcy means that its the end for FTX and there is no hope left.
I know there are many people whose funds are stuck at FTX still believe that one day they will re-open withdrawals and they will be able to cash out. As per the recent situation and circumstances, these seems impossible for now that FTX will recover.
1570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Your Kids Aware Of Bitcoin? Teach Them. on: November 28, 2022, 12:39:14 PM

It couldn't be more true, I don't think educating a child about bitcoin or finance early on will guarantee that they will become a good moneymaker. We need to know their needs and interests as well as their forte, should not impose our thoughts on anyone, especially a child, let them freely choose.

Why even do we need to tell our kids about bitcoin for them to make money? You tell your kids about dollars and will they start earning dollars and fiat money, NO.

Rather than this, we should focus on teaching our kids the skills which can make them money as they grow up. If they have the skills, they can earn bitcoin or whatever currency. Yes, they (the kids) should know and taught that bitcoin is a digital currency through which you can transfer money from one person to another.
1571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin worth $1.5B withdrawn from Coinbase in 48 hours on: November 28, 2022, 09:24:16 AM
It seems that the latest trend of large withdrawals came about in 2017. Perhaps after the bitfinex and tether investigations were launched. It could take time for consumer confidence to be restored in crypto exchanges.

Well at that time there were only investigations on Tether and Tether never collapsed. But this time is different as FTX collapsed and people lost a lot of funds in the exchanges.
So it will take some time while people will regain confidence in this market. However, bitcoin and crypto are not going anywhere. However, I don't see people will regain trust in centralized exchanges and that is overall good for the market. People never listen before but now everyone agrees to keep their funds in their own decentalized wallets.
1572  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: November 28, 2022, 07:24:21 AM
just signed up but i cant try the game no faucet available to play when taking first experience before i make main deposit i want to try demo or anything so i can do initial spin please explain
If you are seeking for some free money to gamble upon then you are not in the right way because you can get deposit bonus on casinos but you will have to gamble with your own funds as well so it's good if you are on legit casino like Rollbit you should focus more on good games rather then faucet rest your wish.
There are way too many people who would like to get some faucet type of money and gamble with it. There are two reasons to do that, either they would like to abuse the system in which case they would not really ask here, they will do that in a silent mode and just try to abuse it as much as they can. In this case, it's probably the other possibility, which is probably testing out a platform, or just keep gambling when the money they deposited runs out.

This allows them to give it a try and have some fun at the same time. I am guessing it is not a terrible thing to add for casinos but at the same time it's risky, as long as they don't get abused, it could work very well.
The purpose of faucet is marketing, which means that as long as it brings in more people to the casino and in evidently more money then it is a good thing, if it is losing the casino more money then it is a bad thing. You could always give it a try as a casino, and you could compare the results and if you made more profit then you made a profit, but if you lost money because of all the people who managed to withdrew then you made up a loss. That's why it's easy, just do a very simple A/B testing and you get a result out of it.

I personally feel like it's good to have demo, that way people could try and there wouldn't be a chance for them to take away real money from the casino.

The faucet will keep the players visiting your site even if they do not have the money to gamble. People will just claim the faucet and use that money for gambling. For sure there will be those people who will deposit their own money also as once you start to gamble (even with free money), you tend to become addicted to it.

However, faucets should be deployed in such a way that no one abuses it and there should be conditions tied to them. Without wagering and deposit requirements no one should withdraw it.
1573  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: November 28, 2022, 05:26:01 AM
First you just need to hit the x100 multiplier to qualify unless you are targeting the main prize or top 5 then you have to hunt longer
Just a reminder for the 21st place and more the total prize pool is $1500 currently 580 participants excluding the top 20
If you are one of the participants then you will claim a prize of around $2.5 + extra 100% if your account is verified level 2
Prizes will continue to decrease if the number of participants increases for the next 8 hours because today is the last day for Week 75.

The best thing to do for this challenge is not to forcing ourselves for huge multiplier, once we hit the minimum multiplier and we have made a profit already then I think it is more than enough. Unless we are slot addict who like to hunt for huge multiplier, it is not recommended to compete for the top prizes. As we can see on the older result, most top winners for each round were with more than 5,000x.

Some people aim for big and hence they will take this as a challenge to hit a big multiplier. I know that the risk increases if we increase the multiplier but then this is what gambling is all about. Take the risk and gain maximum benefit but you can lose everything too. For sure, you may try your luck if you have extra money, and you will not regret losing this money.

If you are a person who do not have funds for gambling and who cannot take the risk, then just hit the minimum multiplier and be satisfied with the little profit which you may make.
1574  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: November 27, 2022, 04:30:58 PM
Well, I don't think telling the truth is being pessimistic or negative, the truth is the truth even though most times, it is not always pleasing to say or hear.,
Several times I've spend money buying lots or lottery tickets sometimes in the ton of 10,000, 20,000, even 50,000 to 100,000, I've never won a dime, yeah, that how unlucky I am personally
At this moment I see on freebitco.in 133 million lottery tickets, constantly growing. Let's say for the sake of simplicity that until tomorrow's lottery there are 150 million tickets. In the most extreme case, if you have bought 100,000 tickets, you have 0.07% of the tickets. What do you expect to get with that?
Bud, I can tell you classically that that WIN CHANCE you see there is absolute bullshit, maybe you have never played lottery on Freebitco before, or maybe you do but do not pay attention to details, sometimes, people win the first, second and even third possible of the lottery table which far lesser number of tickets, to confirm this to you, the table below is from the last round of the lottery, round 390, there, you can see the total lottery tickets brought, over 170 million, in the list of winners, you can see players who won with as little as 500 or lesser number of tickets...
Sometimes I feel this thing is rigged..

Relax boys, if you think it’s rigged then you might have been expecting a lot but getting nothing at all. With the freebitcoin we already have good returns from other ways and lottery is just one of the optional ways to earn some extra bucks and be engaged in to freebitcoin ecosystem.

If you guys are really desperate about it then I hope you know you can DISABLE the lottery and in turn get the RP for it. You can also option out to exchange your lottery and grow your RP slowly on another side.

There is no point blaming yourself or the system. Just keep playing and growing.
Sincerely, I am not blaming myself or the system in any way, I already know that the chances of coming out a winner in a lottery game played by hundreds of thousands of people (if not more) is very slim, my comment stating that I sometimes feel the thing is rigged, is just me trying to emphasize on the fact I shared which is that huge number of tickets does not guarantee a win, neither does the figures on the WIN CHANCE count as anything, it's all about luck.

Though I haven't seen anyone bought one ticket for the lottery before, due to the fact that the tickets are very cheap, and one can even earn 2 tickets for free every hour if they are constant at playing the free btc faucet, I would have said that it's very possible that one day, we might likely see a luck user win the jackpot with 1 lottery ticket  Grin.

There are people who won the lottery with less than 10 tickets so someone may win the lottery even with one ticket. One only needs to be lucky to be able to win the lottery and it does not depend upon how many tickets you have collected. If it was that the more tickets you collect, the more the chances of being a winner then people would have to focus on collecting maximum tickets. But since you can win with only a few tickets, you need to depend on your luck to be able to grab the lottery.
1575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I Am So Done With Betting Until.... on: November 27, 2022, 03:32:51 PM
I'm sorry for your loss, that's part of gambling. It happens to everyone when you are all confident about your bet and betting all-in. Sometimes it takes a big loss for us to realize to stop gambling, I am sure you'll recover from it soon, and I would take that you had a huge bet. Even with good odds your favored team can still lose, there are cases the underdogs win which could really be disappointing for those who are really expecting that their favored team has an advantage.
Whether you are too confident or not, losses can still happen here in gambling but I think it's wrong to be overconfident and go all in. In gambling, we should only bet small or bet only the amounts that we can afford to lose.

There are people who will decide to quit gambling after a major loss but there's also some who will quit after a big win because they are done with their mission of recovering their past losses. If your goal is to beat the house and make profit, you should know how to quit and not come back ever again before you got stuck in a loop because most of the times, gambling is only about winning and losing.  Preferably losing.

Loses do happen in gambling and one should accept it. No gambler will win each and every game and this is a fact. But the problem is how much we allocate funds to each game. If we are betting, how much funds should be spent in each match?
If there is a plan, then i am sure we will not face the situation where we lose money. Going all in means that we are not disciplined in gambling, or we are too much greedy. Gambling will never let you win if we play with emotions. If we only follow the money management, i am sure we can make good money out of betting and gambling.

5- Belgium - Morocco 27/11/22

Belgium to win

No one knows who will win a football match and no one is perfect in predictions.

I did not bet on this match but if I would have done the bet, I would have chosen Belgium too. No one can think that Belgium would lose this match and that too by two goals. Belgium had 56% possession but still they lost this match.

Belgium Vs Morocco (2:0)

The score was 2-0 but the other way around, Morocco Vs Belgium 2:0  Smiley
1577  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Can you access the FTX site ? Scammed ? on: November 27, 2022, 02:09:53 PM
Very sorry to hear this, but the truth is all your money is gone and ftx is not going to comeback. Also, it is suggested not to open the ftx website or use their apps as recently there was a trojan/malware case in which they can further hack into your system and look out to steal more btc from your personal wallet on your pc/phone, if any. Please beware!
Just follow the ftx official account on twitter for any updates regarding the exchange. But I dont think they are going to make it, sam is gone Sad

As soon as, they stopped the withdrawal, it was all over for FTX and i knew that they are not coming back. Later on things developed further, and we heard that exchange was hacked. I also believed that it was a hack done by the insiders or a false news was spread by SAM and his team, but it does not matter, as no matter what happens people funds are not coming back.

I feel sorry for those who kept their life having in a FTX exchange when they knew it was a centralized platform and anything could have happened. People trusted SAM the same they trust the CEO of binance, both of them not to be trusted.
1578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running a casino during crypto crash on: November 27, 2022, 05:34:05 AM
Hello guys, as an attempt to protect new or old users on this forum , I think its mandatory for gambling sites to show proof of money they are holding in reserves  . Unless casinos converts all deposits to a stablecoin , excluding UST hahahah , from year to date most of them should be running on a loss as most utilized crypto coins are down by atleast 65% and that includes Bitcoin .

There will be more and more accusations  created to existing and also new casinos.

Goodluck,Be safe and smart out there!!

Well do you think that gambling casino's will agree to this and be willing to show their bank balance? I guess most of them won't agree to this but as an gambler, you can still keep yourself safe by not depositing extra money in the casino. Also, after every win or a major win, withdraw your profits out of the casino and keep on the minimum amount in the gambling casino.

Many people do not withdraw money from casinos on a regular basis because they think that it will cost them a withdrawal fee. So it's basically a trade off, you either safe your withdrawal fee or save your whole fund at expense of a little withdrawal fee. The choice is yours.
1579  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is likely to head towards a price of $13,000 on: November 26, 2022, 09:01:09 PM
The recession understands people like you who are facing Investment and financial difficulties. Do you feel that a bear market in risk assets mimicking the global financial crisis, big losses are yet to come?

As per your title, bitcoin may or may not reach 13,000$. We cannot say with 100% conviction that bitcoin may reach 13K or below.
Yes, the recession is on its way, but we never know how bitcoin will react to it. Perhaps people may find the bitcoin to be a safe heaven especially when everyone knows that it is non inflationary.

I am optimistic about bitcoin and think that no matter what the world's economic and financial conditions is, Bitcoin will always have its value. Even if bitcoin dumps to 13K, it will be for a very short period due to the enormous demand of bitcoin BTC

Half Time
Argentina 0 - 0 Mexico

The match between argentina and mexico was very boring, not so many attacks that were dangerous for both countries. Too many fouls are also very tiring to watch, Lionel messi is also very difficult when he wants to find gaps in the opponent's defense. I think argentina could have stalled in this group stage if they don't really play seriously because this is an important result if they want to qualify for the round of 16.
yes, it's true that this match was very boring, Mexico from the start targeted a draw in this match. see how Mexico played very defensively even they used a 5-3-2 formation, it was very difficult for argentina to penetrate their defense

I'm not sure if there will be a chance for Argentina to score goals in this match, I think it's better if Scaloni replaces Messi with another striker, so that Mexico does not continue to read their strategy

The problem for Argentina is that they have lost the previous match and they need a win in this match. If this match ends in a draw, it will favor Mexico more than Argentina. That's more problem as Mexico is only focused on defending.

Edit: Messi scores and Argentina are back in the world cup. The stadium is erupted with joy and celebration. Let's see if Argentina can keep this lead till the end.
