Perhaps, but i already sold.
You've sold on dip, just because someone said there's going to be "something big for bitcoin" today? You seriously need to re-think how you make your financial decisions He's just trolling I guess.

DASH is more a niche coin then something for mass adoption. It definitely has a market segment where it's more than well suited, but for an average user most of it's features are unnecessary.

As I see they think BTC is too volatile at this moment. (I can't blame them for that.)

There are income tax and tax on ownership. I think that income tax is ok and it will be made by two principles: 1) you should pay tax from profit if you bought btc low and sold high, the same if you buy and sell any shares(like AAPL). 2) all companies income in btc should be denominated in national currency and then taxes will be earned as usual.
WHy should I pay any tax on my BTC income. That income comes from trading so it should be CGT, and I fiercely disagree with taxing that. Did the government gave me trading signals? Are they providing me any sort of protection if bitwhatever gets hacked and my funds stolen? If the answer is no, then I'm alone on an unregulated market, I'm taking all the risks, so the govt have no business with my gains there. Tax on ownership is even more ridiculous. WTF the govt did to help me obtaining my coins. Nothing. For zero contribution I'm happy to pay them a big fat zero as a reward :/.

They aren't much different from most tribal groups and even the Samurai or the Romans, it's just the sheer scale of it all that seems to be frightening most people, they also don't operate under any real rules despite what they claim, this is a power play and they simply have no problem being as violent as they like to anybody in order to achieve this. This is simply the true face of empire building and what it looks like, the only difference is a lot of what the other powers does is behind closed doors, while granted, they don't execute people ( much ) in the end political opponents tend to either end up dead or in jail or caught doing something equally horrible.
I suppose the biggest difference between ISIS and the rest of us, is we've evolved in the way we've dispatched people yet they're sticking to the medieval scripture they follow to do it instead, if you ever wanted to see what the middle east is like during the crusades I guess this would be it.
By numbers and destruction they are not even close to most of the conquerors across history. The difference is in the information flow. We've heard only stories about the deeds of the romans, huns, mongolians, etc. This one is happening almost real-time in our living room thanks to the media coverage.

So what is your point, my friend?
Perhaps mass adoption by the wall street hyenas are coming. So fasten your seatbelts the real roller coaster is just beginning .

That's not it...
"t" was the only letter not capitalized. "t" is the 20th letter in the alphabet. The numerological value of 20 is 2. 2 is right next to 1. And "One is the Lonieliest Number" is by The Beatles, so number two MUST be The Rolling Stones. A rolling stone gathers no moss. Moss is green. Green is the color of money. Money is Bitcoin!
...
WE'RE ALL GETTING RICCCCHHHHH!!!
Great explanation, I like it .

Sorry to tell Sithara: Most of these worst people are brainwashed when they are kids and many of them are sleeper cells. It is hard to find them and even if could, it is hard to educate them. Their heart will be frozen and they will be like robots. Only accept commands from master and nothing is accepted from others.
I don't stick with "atom bombing". It will kill many innocents. I am sure there is another way but I guess, by the time we found better way, it will be too late.
Hunting them down one by one may would be entertaining, but that would take a lot of time and resources and we would end up with more extremist across the muslim world. Actually until today only the Mongolians were able to deal with large numbers of fanatics and pacify these areas, perhaps we should learn from them .

This is really fortune you found out. Lucky guy. I could have bought all from you but don't have that much money But I will also suggest it's very risky to put all these in one exchange and sell it. You better divide and put these bitcoins in multiple exchanges. Second this one you might want to divide your funds over a couple of more trustworthy exchanges just to be on the safe side. It's more hassle during the registration but a lot less easier to withdraw in smaller portions then in one big sum.

I doubt that Satoshi was yet another drunk bloke on a university.

Absolutely. The Crimea Pearl gone, Donbass gone. Malorussia soon gone. Poroshenko going to the gallows for his war crimes and mass murder or heading for the mobīs bosom. Itīs all falling apart. Wonderful. Those crafty Russians must be laughing their butts off. Good luck, g
I think this is a bit too optimistic opinion but I like it.

Exactly, open source is the way to go for bitcoin since it's decentralised and none controls it.
You guys are completely crazy. IBM is currently working on a new cryptocurrency with the US Fed. If you think that is going to be a low performance system, you are stupid. They will have a very kick-ass system up and running. Only the anarchists will refuse to use it because it is controlled by governments. Your grandma and all her friends are going to use it. Soon, it will be everywhere. And even the anarchists will use it - reluctantly. Bitcoin will do the very same thing Napster, Tor, FireFox, and others did. It will just fade away. No organized core development and bitcoin can look forward to being replaced in the coming 24 months. Good quality funding and organization doesn't mean bitcoin is centralized. The miners still can reject the new code. What it means is the best programmers will be working all day on advancing the performance of the core. This needs to be done. Or, we could just let a few tinkerers fuss with the code from time to time and see what happens. Do you really want IBM and the US Fed to get ahead of bitcoin? Pull your head out of your ass. 'Open source' is equal to highly disorganized way to advance. Open source is a waste of time. Interesting. Until now I thought e.g. Linux kernel development is just doing fine as open source...

Any kind of currency I guess. It comes handy for localized stuff as I could save a few cycles if I don't have to deal with the exchanges, fees, etc.

Can't wait to see what will happen tomorrow .

Well, I donīt think Kosovo number two in the borderland between Russia and the European Union is a tolerable prospect. The western mob broke it, they buy it. Thatīs how it goes. Good luck, g
Ukraine as is today is unmanageable in the long run. In addition the EU prefers smaller, more exploitable countries.

More transparency, and involving the community in high level planning would be useful.

@Snail: what's the intrinsic value of gold? And yet it keeps keeping up with inflation.
Gold have little intrinsic value indeed. It's is just psychology, social consensus and most importantly tradition. Gold have been currency for nearly three thousand years so ppl traditionally think it has a great value on it's own (rarity, looks nice, etc). BTC have no such tradition, the social consensus isn't widespread enough yet, and because of volatility and the lot's of scams psychology even working against it.

I'm just curious about the conclusion. Are these dangerous things should be banned or "modernized" ?
