841  Economy / Auctions / Re: $ 1,025,637.26 BTC account for sale. on: December 10, 2015, 04:46:29 PM

I might be able to brag about it, but we cannot impress any girls or our friends with this. What if one cannot impress any girls or our friends with this?
Do you offer a refund?

Quote from: Conversations
Me: Hey, Girl and Friend.
Girl & Friend: Yeah?
Me: I have Bitcoin address with a total received of $1,025,637.26!
Girl: So, what? The final balance is still $0 though. Roll Eyes
Friend: My final balance is higher than yours! haha
Me: *Depressed* I need a refund.

It also could come handy, if you want to divorce/breakup  Smiley.

(You: leave your wallet open on your laptop or tablet, before Christmas or before your wife's/GF's birthday)
Wife/GF: Wow! How much money! Is this ours?
You: Sorry honey, I've just gambled away...

You will have a good chance for a quick and probably smooth divorce Smiley.

843  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Survey for my college class! on: December 10, 2015, 04:08:57 PM
Done. Probably this forum is the best place to ask questions, however you might get more participants if you move (or reopen) this topic on the Bitcoin Discussion board as most people around not visiting the Project Development board very often. Also keep bumping your topic at least once a day.

Good luck with your masters.
844  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Anita Sarkeesian - Feminist Frequency - Donating in Bitcoin on: December 10, 2015, 03:42:02 PM
It's difficult no to be "ad hominem" when someone want to call someone else a con artist Smiley.
And your opinion that she is a con artist stems from what? The TCM case where Feminist's Frequency Anita Sarkeesian doesn't like playing shooters got totally taken out of context?

My comment wasn't an opinion, just a generic comment about issues with being or not being "ad hominem" in the given context. Please let me know if you need more explanation Smiley.
845  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you a democrat or a republican? on: December 10, 2015, 02:12:57 PM
I am a democrat because, democrats have feelings for the poor,
sick and unemployed. They are willing to help people in need.
Even many rich folks will come to the aid of those in trouble.

Thanks for the good laugh mate Cheesy. I've almost wet myself when I read that "They are willing to help people in need". You could make a great carrier as a gagman Wink.
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin will see 10$ and above 2016 on: December 10, 2015, 02:00:58 PM
Moving between $3-5 is a more likely scenario, but a new bitcoin bubble can pull prices to a lot higher (something in the $10-20 region).
Everything depends on the BTC prices, so we are in the hands of God whales Smiley.
847  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you with others speculation comments? on: December 10, 2015, 01:38:18 PM
Most comments here are not something to be taken seriously, but these comments are good indicators how people feel about bitcoin. As NorrisK said is a good place to "gain an idea on market sentiment". As a bonus you can save some time on technical analysis Smiley.
848  Economy / Economics / Re: could bitcoin resolve the us debt on: December 10, 2015, 01:21:59 PM
Nothing can resolve the US debt without some principal changes in the whole US financial/banking system. In addition the US government and their owners wouldn't be very much interested in throwing away their "money printing industry" for something what they cannot manipulate at will.
849  Economy / Lending / Re: 1.4 Btc needed For new Script @ 6.5% on: December 10, 2015, 12:49:00 PM
If someone has cheaper ideas for a nicer and better faucet script let me know pls would be very welcome!

As I see currently you are using the PHPfaucet script, so I can't point you to cheaper options but e.g. paytoshi https://paytoshi.org/faucet-script is also free and looks better.

BTW before paying 1.4 BTC for a faucet script you might want to consider googling "opensource bitcoin faucet" Smiley.
850  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Another technology poised to change the world: the O-Cube on: December 10, 2015, 11:53:35 AM
But charging phones and laptop batteries costs next to nothing. I doubt that it costs me more than 50 cents A YEAR to charge my phone and of course itīs even less because more often than not itīs done where I spend time out of my home.

Now; this device, which is the topic, can supposedly charge 2-3 phones for free per day and it costs 1200 euros plus shipping. Thatīs a ROI of what, 800 years. Maybe only 400 years, letīs be excessively positive about this nonsense.

Yes, you are absolutely right on the ROI. That's why I said earlier this stuff is grossly overpriced. BTW you can't buy it right now but you can read a bunch of awesome claims, you can see photos, you can pre-order it for a fortune... Isn't it a familiar feeling (BFL, ActiveMining, etc.)?
851  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do DICE BOTS Actually Work For You? on: December 10, 2015, 11:09:17 AM
No, in never. Bots are fine for saving a lot of clicking and for quickly changing "strategies", but those are not money making dice prediction machines. However on the other hand if you set your bot loose (typo, or just using a dumb strategy) it can easily gamble away all your funds in seconds.
852  Economy / Gambling / Re: Using Tor while gambling.. any problems? on: December 10, 2015, 10:52:43 AM
A couple of sites don't let you use tor, but you can play from a tor browser on the most if you don't mind the high latency... but at least you will have enough time to think over or think again your next bet Wink.
853  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Another technology poised to change the world: the O-Cube on: December 10, 2015, 10:41:09 AM
First thing Iīd check is whether this "pulls energy from the environment" concept works in a dark room, ie. without the influence of light.  Grin

It could. Just google the keyword "rectenna design" and you will find plenty of papers and actual designs about how to extract "free energy" from your neighbours wifi networks Smiley.

I guess you need to charge a free capacitor to make that free energy usable. Anyway, how much is your neighborīs wifi supposed to yield? Can a dayīs worth charge your phone for longer than five seconds?

Not much of course, these are mostly "proof of concept" designs for future wireless energy transmission/distribution solutions. BTW if you living next to a big radio mast or a radar station you can extract considerable amount of "waste energy" from the "thin air". Considerable means that you can run your whole lighting and some small appliances from this free energy source Smiley. Once I've seen a demonstration with 7 100W bulbs powered by a bunch of coils at about 1km distance from a 2MW radio mast.
(But living in such places might not the most healthy thing.)
854  Other / Politics & Society / Re: SJW's/PC's on Christianity and Islam on: December 10, 2015, 10:18:18 AM
Don't you find it funny to see the reactions of those useful idiots to when Christians, unlikely to go on physical violence against them
Christian/right wing extremists are very likely to harm or kill you compared to most other folks in the USA.

Especially if you need an abortion or were born gay.

Have you seen any such "Christian/right wing extremists" randomly killing people in pubs, theatres or sports events? Actually who did such things (at least here in Europe) in the last 50 years were mostly left wing extremists... like you Smiley.

856  Other / Politics & Society / Re: This Is Huge: Evidence Builds Linking Israel, Turkey To ISIS on: December 10, 2015, 09:16:43 AM
There are a lot of interest in keeping ISIS in power:
Assad's Syria is the last Russian stronghold in the Mediterranean
Assad's Syria is the last obstacle to build a pipeline from the arab states to Turkey (through Israel and/or Jordan)
Assad's Syria is the only chance for Iran to build a pipeline (through North Iraq aka. Kurdistan) and break into the EU markets.

So if you see who benefits from all that mess, then you will get lists about the most likely supporters of each sides.
857  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Another technology poised to change the world: the O-Cube on: December 10, 2015, 08:44:53 AM
Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance.

I don't see an issue with so-called free energy devices. This could just be an oversized broadband crystal radio pulling power from the sun, radio stations, power lines and any other source of em radiation.

The comments so far accusing this of being a scam are probably correct however. Do you think the powers that be will let technology that stops the continuous flow of fiat from your pocket to theirs? In bitcoinland scams are the #1 technique the establishment is using to fight BTC.

The current state-of-the-art free energy technology is solar power and it's a good start to get that hand out of your pocket.

Of course it could be a rectenna, but they said nothing about how this stuff working. The "wheelwork of nature" is a but thin for explanation, especially after two failed demonstrations. So the whole thing is quite suspicious.
858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever win something big in demo mode and feel stupid? on: December 09, 2015, 11:02:06 PM
Yep! That happened a few times. Never felt stupid however, because of I've always considered such demo gains as bait Smiley.
859  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Angela Merkel Named Time's Person of the Year on: December 09, 2015, 09:08:23 PM
Angela Merkel is really brave women and politicians, not afraid to take responsibility and decide something when all others politicians around her or in EU don't know what to do and are afraid to decide anything.
Look how she handle Greek crisis before or immigration crisis now.
We can is her motto!
Really she is person of the year, no doubt about it! Smiley

Ouch! I hope it was only a sarcastic remark Smiley. If not, then give me some contact details to your dealer, please. That must be some really asskickin' stuff hmmm... sunshine, blue sky with pink clouds and flying fluffy ponies Smiley.
860  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Angela Merkel Named Time's Person of the Year on: December 09, 2015, 04:54:22 PM
If they like her so much I'm willing to give her to them for 50p Smiley. (Actually they can take her for free, if they do that quickly.) She's probably one of the most treacherous bastards in European history.
