166  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A nob in trading needs help on: August 06, 2023, 08:10:13 AM
At this level, I am well informed about Bitcoin and its securities, I have read on the forum how Bitcoin and cryptocurrency trading has changed people's lives, and I am kind of interested in acquiring skills, I have read in many other threads on how risky Bitcoin trading is.

But at this point, I will really like to know whether or not Bitcoin trading is a means to gain profits during market speculations, and how possible it is to make passive income through cryptocurrency trading.

Trading, staking, and even lending is a sure means to make passive incomes in the crypto space, but before you dive in those space just try you possible best to gain knowledge on the particular area of interest be it trading or staking.
167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading good for beginners? on: August 06, 2023, 08:03:28 AM
Someone met me and we were had a conversation on trade and he told me that he has used all he has been saving for trading and asked me if he can make something out of it and I asked him if he had any knowledge about it and he said no.

My question is can someone that doesn't have any knowledge about trading and how the system work can he or she trade and be profitable in it? Since at some points it has some compliments bof luck.
After some time of discussion, he has been told that it's just for them to choose on the candles sticks if it's up the they want to choose or the one going up just with this idea can they trade with such an idea.
so I wan to know if it's right for the person to begin trading?

just like you were born to this world you dont know how to walk Right? your parents will have to nurture you with love, care and support till you grow up to be able to walk on your own and do things on your own, so thats same thing with how trading works without anyone to coach you and put you through you cant do it on your own. i dont think anyone is born with the TALENT OR KNOWLEDGE  of trading, we all got an idea or clue from some were some how.

169  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Even in escrow can get scammed :| on: August 04, 2023, 02:22:06 AM
Gift cards and reversible payment methods are risky. An escrow won't be of too much help.

Someone can send you PayPal, and you can escrow the bitcoins, but what guarantees that the other party won't charge back the transaction in a couple of days?

Same thing with GCs/vouchers. A chargeback is possible, and like you said one can use them and claim that they don't work, which one can probably avoid maybe with live screen sharing or something but it's probably not worth all the trouble. Either go with someone you've dealt with multiple times and trust or a reputable gift card service.

I think what he needs is a platform that is reliable and safe enough for him to do his deals, him saying

maybe a middleman with bitcoin talk is better
my dear even here wont guarantee him that 100% trust his looking for, scammers are all over the internet and they wont stop till they have what they want and even at that, they WONT STOP.
170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is crypto trading so similar yet so different from Forex trading? on: August 04, 2023, 02:14:32 AM
We all have our trading strategies which works for us, those who are trading in the forex believe they are the best people on the open market, like they are making the best that the market can offer, why those who are also in the crypto (me included) believe  the best things are from crypto trading and that forex has a very higher risk which makes me avoid it the more.

In my own stage i choose FOREX to crypto but i started with crypto as at 2017, one reason i went from crypto to forex is because of the regulation on forex tho is very volatile, why so is because forex doesn't just move based on strategies, the fundamental news plays a big row in forex, unlike crypto where by someone will just come out of no were and pump and dump money in, while in forex you cant try that shit.
171  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Private keys on: August 03, 2023, 06:30:37 PM
One of my friends said he understands that If you give away your private keys to someone, they can basically be used to drain your wallet of all its holdings. Which makes private keys so much so private and should always be stored securely and never shared. But something is not so clear about this keys as in the statement below:

"for Non-custodial wallets, it is required you to store your private keys, as it gives you sole responsibility over sensitive data."

First, are private keys for Non-custodial wallets to be looked out for and stored/saved just like the seed phrases? And

Secondly, what other times would a wallet owner need to personally use the private keys aside from its primary automated role of authorize transactions?

This private key has really helped me alot to recover all my savings i could remember 2018 when i was using IMTOKEN WALLET till date my phone got bad to a point it refused to boot and what saved me was i wrote it down in my dairy. take note guys dont store your PK on you mobile phone and if its to be stored make sure you encrypt the DOC.

173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you know about AI trading bot? on: August 03, 2023, 03:12:43 PM
Lately exchanges has been trying to integrate everyone within the crypto space with an opportunity to make profit. There are introduction of different features that can enhance user’s profitability such as copy trading, flexible savings, staking, Launchpad and the likes. Now AI bot has been introduced into some CEX where users have opportunity to trade with bot. In some cases bot are very smart regardless of the volatility of the market. Trading with both is just like trading smarter because you’ve got no reason to stress yourself.

Also there are exchanges that offers loss protection on their bot, users get loss protection fund in any situation of loss. This might be an opportunity to explore.

Let me know your view regarding the trading bot and if you know any exchange with such feature yet also with loss protection fund on users loss.

A.I hype is just getting started i guess, but for me to make use of any bot is off my league, i rather master my own strategy than have hope that some sort of A.I bot will handle my trades for me. And come to think of all this A.I hype have we seat to think about the disadvantages they carry or we are just overwhelmed with the performance for now.
174  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers are getting innovative. on: August 02, 2023, 04:32:28 PM
I wants to share one of my stories where some people try to scam my Discord server. At first, i need to give a quick intro about my work. I am a full time community manager in discord and i am working with a project where i am the head moderator. Now lets get to the main story.

There were some members who were actively making posts on our discord server about hiring moderators in some kind of NFT-related discord server. At first, i thought it was just a spam message and start ignoring it. After few days one guy messaged my inbox by saying he is very impressed with my work managing discord server so now he wants to hire me into their discord server as a community moderator. For being a professional discord community moderator i show interest and start asking about his project. In the meanwhile, he invite in into a group he created where his so called boss wants to talk with me. After doing some general conversation he said he is interested and wants to take an interview of me before making any job contract. So we start talking through voice call and he asked me some basic moderation related questions.

It was just like a professional job interview and there was no way to be vigilant till this points. After the interview, he offered me a handsome amount of money that i can not reject so i accepted his offer. He sent a url and told me i need to fill up this form right now with my details before we can make the contract. That URL looks pretty normal to me so i clicked it and start filling the form.  But when i tried to click submit button it written there is a problem with the submit button so drag the url of the submit button to your browser's bookmark bar to submit the form. When i drag that button i have noticed there is a script written in there. In the meanwhile, i was still connected with that guy in voice call and he was constantly pushing me to do the work fast. I disconnected from that call and delete cookies from my browser. After some investigation, i found out that there was a javascript written in there which will give that scammer access to my browser and my discord account. Furthermore i found out they are a group of people who hack Moderators account into a discord server and post fake airdrop promotion to scam people.

Crypto space fast-paced technological innovation to bring simplicity and add more security to human life. So scammers are also finding new ways to scam people. Do not fall for the same kind of trap if you are a moderator in any crypto project. You might lose your server and job as well.

some certain things do come my mind when i hear the word SCAM like i try to be in their shoes which seems not to fit YES. like what do they gain to see your own fellow human fall. i will keep saying it over and over what ever means you know to PROTECT your hard EARNED money GO for it and be careful at all times.
175  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is more profiting self trade or AI on: August 02, 2023, 04:21:22 PM
Lately, there has been some development here in the integration of AI in trading on some stock assets and cryptocurrencies, and to a large instead, AI has ground in acting and executing trades and recording profits, but it has not been for long so as we can't tell what the success rate will be, but for the fact that the reality on the ground has shown and proven their existence in trading stock, so as that which one will you prefer if AI is proven to be effective.
Will you prefer to trade with AI or you prefer to do the trading yourself?

At the moment am doing it my self, most of all this developments of A.I coming in ain't free and just me not everyone can afford it, even if its free there are some disadvantages that wont be noticed at first approach but as time goes on.

177  Other / Off-topic / Re: please help, google authenticator app is missing on: August 01, 2023, 06:03:55 AM
Maybe someone has experienced the same fate as me, the Google Authenticator apk is missing! Maybe my friends know a way to be able to enter Google Authenticator without a key or is there another way to deactivate Google Authenticator so that when we want to enter a market account, we don't need the Google Authenticator key anymore? Hope someone knows about all this, thanks.

sorry to say someone might have an idea on few stuff not everything about your issue, so issues differ, now when you say missing lets say its been Uninstalled from your phone, GOOGLE 2AF is kind of complicated to when you want to get your account back, this has happened to me because then there was no means for me to get access to backup, so i dive down to use AUTHY TWILIO. This makes use of your Mobile phone number.

Hello,
I found following Crypto chart patterns:
https://i.postimg.cc/Mpn0KRfY/Crypto-Chart-Patterns.jpg

According to the following image, is it the Pennant?
https://i.postimg.cc/zBS4wzYb/FET-1.png

Thank you.

well all these patterns do work i won't doubt but the market now is different to what we normally expect especially the crypto market, another thing am noticing recently is people are moving more to the forex market, but which ever market that you master so well i believe you can make some sustainable money from it.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does cryptocurrency actually solve any problems? on: July 31, 2023, 12:08:07 PM
Been asked a couple of times, what problems does cryptocurrency solve, and what’s its unique value proposition compared to other cryptocurrencies or traditional financial systems.  Would love any other users take on this ..

cryptocurrency has solved a lot of problems in my life for example, and if you look deep the up coming generation at large are getting engaged to actually know what cryptocurrency is all about thats because they have been hearing of the good deed crypto has done in the past. but one problem am having in crypto is that its not regulated, like other financial markets.
