161  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will the world be like in 100 years on: September 27, 2017, 03:41:37 PM
That depends on the movies you are watching. I am perfectly sure the world will be a better place than we find it now in so many ways and i will be glad to leave behind a better world for the next generation
162  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever had the feeling that someone is controlling your life? on: September 27, 2017, 03:39:30 PM
I try as much as i can to control my own life that i dont leave to anyone to decide for me because i want the consequences of my own action be blamed on me, me alone and nobody else so i control my own life. People might have some influence on me at some point like my parents, siblings, boss, colleagues and the guy who i bust into conservation with at the soccer stadium but they dont control me.
163  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Women empowerment? on: September 27, 2017, 03:35:36 PM
You might need to justify why you think women empowerment is a danger. Remember its not a mans world, had we involved the women in all activities from the beginning our world now will be twice a better place than it is now. Am pretty sure you need more thinking about this and you will realise your mother could had been a good and more important to society if she was allowed to drive, work and also pay the children's fee
164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes: "4 Reasons Why Bitcoin May Still Blow Up" on: September 25, 2017, 05:07:56 PM
With investment and trade there is always the issue of profit or loss probably sometimes there is the small margin of striking the balance but with BTC we ve seen so much success and now we look really worried prices can sore base on national decisions. I say all reasons written are right and can impact BTC prices positively but once again i say this is a business. You win or loose
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After China & Russia, now India on: September 25, 2017, 05:03:36 PM
A decentralized currency will definitely cause problems to any government and there is nothing wrong with the Indian security agency probing into BTC related activities to that effect. As much as i love crypto currency it seems to be providing the opportunity for illegality, that is not right
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon gonna accept BTC?? on: September 25, 2017, 04:59:48 PM
Since i dont see how official this is am going to say its not true but personally it will be great news for Amazon to accept BTC. Was thinking Alibaba will be on before China started hating on BTC now if Amazon will be rational enough to make that step i believe there will be greatness breeding with BTC
167  Other / Politics & Society / Re: world war III : north korea VS USA on: September 24, 2017, 04:53:31 PM
Oooh crap. Do you think there will be a world war because North Korea and the US are wntangled in a insults. All I know is both Presidents are not even loved by their own people not to talk about the world. There wouldnt be a world war. Nothing is gonna happen. Thia will end in probably one nation loosing its leader to the opposition. Remember Lybia, Iraq there are had the so called super power Russian backing but what did we get. There is only one show man and believe it they have what they need to move. Oppression and dictatorship allegation.
168  Other / Off-topic / Re: Cant Sleep :( on: September 22, 2017, 04:30:06 PM
I wonna guess you are posting from Australia. Try exercising a lot and eat well every evening. Probably some non alcoholic appetizers will be good since most suffering from insomnia do not have the appetite to eat well.
169  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Women and Men, are they same? on: September 22, 2017, 09:41:10 AM
Well if you talking about rights then am going to side with you but biologically men and women are different but it doesnt put anyone above the other we are equal before men and God
170  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of drinking alcohol. on: September 22, 2017, 09:37:58 AM

171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real Bitcoin Value on: September 22, 2017, 09:35:37 AM
The WSJournal article says if BTC is to change dollar, its current value is 0. Plus the ways of possible transactions with BTC is very limited and it requires spending lots of energy (who can explain the part with the energy spending?).
On the other hand if in future BTC  would depend on gold, its value will be stable and it won't be opened to any fluctuations at all.

What do you guys think about that?
Am sorry but your article is not a good one. BTC value is zero how do you explain that. I will say a lot of energy is required to achieve some coins being it trade, mine or campaign or what ever service for value but it is still not close to 4k if you ask me. I dont know the kind of work that will pay you that much money
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Mining on: September 22, 2017, 08:24:45 AM
Mining in simple terms is treasure hunt basically what your set up does is solve algorithms to free coins into your system. You ve seen this many times already but i have reiterate it, very power consuming and the VGA and the powerful computers and all you will need for your set up requires you to sit and analyse if you can even break even before you make the step
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin was centralized? on: September 20, 2017, 05:32:33 PM
what do you think would happen to bitcoin economy if someone would actually take in control of it?
That is not possible because the system was built on decentralization and unless maybe other currency overthrow btc and that currency is decentralized meaning that is what the world wants then it will not happen.
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Dead Without China? on: September 20, 2017, 05:25:36 PM
China has become the powerhouse for Bitcoin (and the whole cryptocurrency in general) as it is hosting many Bitcoin miners due to cheaper electricity and maybe also cheap labors. China also boasts of probably millions of Bitcoin owners and traders who are influencing the moves of the market on day to-day basis. As far as acceptance of Bitcoin in China, it is comfortably good until such time when the government decided that it is time to intervene.

In general, the Chinese government is not comfortable with Bitcoin as it indeed representing a different currency that they can not control with. since Bitcoin is decentralized it would be hard for the government to make interventions and so they are thinking that maybe it is time to ban it altogether. The government can not kill Bitcoin but what they are doing is actually closing the country as a market for Bitcoin.

So the question is: Can Bitcoin survive without China? In case, it can't then then there is something wrong with it since it is not resilient to ride the big storm it is in.
We are not done or dead without. China. The chinese market is huge and important to btc but whatever happens btc will recover maybe not at the pace we know it but it surely get the 5000 mark in December. Am sure of that
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as salary for a regular job? on: September 20, 2017, 05:19:06 PM
You can look at it from various directions. One, it can improve and make btc known to the world and promote it. Two, if you been paid on a fixed bitcoin ampunt say 1 btc for work done. The value will not be fixed looking at the wobbling nature of the currency.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin is distributed rightly among generations? on: September 19, 2017, 08:48:44 AM
If we want to make a case for generations then what really matters is the option that this generation provided to the classic banks and the options on how to save and store your money. I think thats the main benefit that we need to look at as a society not what we stand to gain and what they wouldnt. If BTC will make the world a better place then am happy for that
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: September 19, 2017, 08:42:50 AM
This is a decentralized currency owned by individuals not corporate or financial institutions. Who will pay for advertising, what will be the comment of advertising, These are a few of the many challenges that needs addressing before we can start talking about advertising on TV. But i also believe social media is more popular than television now and i ve seen quiet some articles and videos highlighting crypto market, i believe if we can take it from there everyone interested will be reached
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bloomberg shifting position on Bitcoin on: September 19, 2017, 08:35:36 AM
First it was all negative news items on BTC, now they are singing the praises. I dont blame them, with media they are all around to champion the agenda of the masters so if the banks see BTC as a threat to their gains then it trickle down to what they want reported at Bloomberg as well. If they making good headlines on BTC then it could be one of two things. They understand and accept BTC now or the Banks are also incorporating systems that can help them adapt to BTC
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin FUD on: September 19, 2017, 08:29:56 AM
Well FUD will continue coming wouldnt they but am sure bitcoin will survive. As far as i remember this is not the first ban fro China, other countries also did it. US Russia and more and then the split and big name influence. This is not the first and many will follow am pretty sure about that but BTC will definitely survive it all.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: September 19, 2017, 08:25:15 AM
Exactly like its been said there, Banks as we know them must adapt or die but the model of banking will stay with us for a long time to come. Just like it existed the moment humans started trading in all forms of currencies, being it gold, cowries, stones etc. Even with the banks any change will not be abrupt but will take sometime probably 10 to 20 years.
