Who is this Daniel Andronic you're saying we should report?  Mostly everyone mentions Alexander Sovu or something like that.

I believe that Minersource's Bobsag, and likely the other guy from the European reseller, know who runs Black Arrow.  As does likely David.  They probably have much more detailed information on how to get ahold of them.  Let's be serious, Bobsag and company aren't putting in website tickets.  They call someone directly.  Who is that person?  It's not Silvia.

The resellers should provide this information if anyone is really going to know who exactly it is that needs to be sued.  As Black Arrow themselves taunted in a response to someone asking them, "Who do you intend to sue?"  because they know their identities are hidden.

If you want law enforcement to get involved, they need to know who to go after and how you connect the dots from the company to them being behind it.  Otherwise you're just spamming their email with not enough information.

Maybe they can figure it out, since they are the law, but it doesn't make a lot of sense to provide Daniel Andronic's name, and have nothing else to connect him except his Facebook page.  No address, no phone number, nothing.  You have any legal papers to show he runs the company or anything?

163  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow Customers - Consumer Complaints Links on: September 23, 2014, 05:16:02 PM
Hi,

Just posting a message to say, I am one of the people who pre ordered and didn't receive anything.

I don't know how all of this works, but if people here want to launch legal action or whatever, I am available to help if there is a way (signing stuff, sending testimony, or I can also help a bit with fees).

I think if everyone agrees to place a grouped complaint or something, by grouping money for attorneys and other stuff this is doable. No?

That information is contained in this thread.  Spend five minutes reading through it and you'll know where to send your information to join the group lawsuit.  It's been quoted and reposted numerous times.
164  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S1 Upgrade Kit on: September 23, 2014, 01:59:33 PM
Should be possible to hash with just one board.  That's easy enough to test.  Just disconnect the one board and see how it goes.

I use WiFi on three of my upgraded S1's.   I will say that the hash rate is slower on these than wired.  Maybe around 40gh slower give or take.  But it is what it is, I'm not rewiring the house for those three units.  They still perform better than the S3's I originally bought.

I don't own S3+ but I imagine they hash as well as the upgrades do.

I have an electric screwdriver (Drill with a proper bit actually) that obviously speeds up the process greatly.  I'm sure by hand it'd take quite a bit longer because of all the screws.  Only thing I struggled with is the fourth screw on the second fan.  I just ended up using three screws for it.  It wasn't furth futzing around to try and get all four in there.
166  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S1 Upgrade Kit on: September 21, 2014, 01:22:21 AM
I upgraded six S1's.  I will say the process takes about 30 minutes for each one, give or take.  I got faster as I went through them.  I can run all of them at 250 without any hardware errors.  Oddly, the frequency just below that resulted in more hardware errors than 250 itself.  Maybe the chips throw errors if they aren't powered properly.  That's a total guess.  But they are stable and nothing fancy, arctic-x4 was all I used.

Now to hope that the Bitcoin price rises to get me back into earning what I paid for them.

Yeah, flash the firmware to the latest version for the S3 that Bitmain has on their support site.  That will get you going, it's working for me.
168  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S1 Upgrade Kit on: September 19, 2014, 11:58:24 PM
I've been trying to search the board on this upgrade, I've completed 1 of 4, but am unable to get the unit hashing, I've sent email to bitmaintech, asking if there is a firmware update needed?  Has anyone alredy gone through this and could share some knowladge

Got mine today, assembled it, but lost it on the network.  Not sure yet, will let you know if I can get mine hashing...

So did everyone stop posting here all of a sudden or is BA just deleting all the posts?

What else is there to say?  Still waiting for my X3...  That's it.
170  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: September 16, 2014, 05:33:30 PM
I just vent my miners out a window.  The screen protects the miners from a squirrel making a nest in them.  No need to pay for cooling.  I've done it for over a year now with no issues other than noise, but these days I'm running S3's which are very quiet.  Probably wouldn't work with the jet engine noise level of the SP units.  Unless you live away from other people who would complain.

Omar, you're a good guy and I trust you have the best interest of the coin at heart.  However, it's Hiro's coin and if he's just going to half-ass it and only show up when he's not working on other coins, what's the point?  The coin is dead.  Hiro abandoned it.  He's not even putting in the minimum effort to keep it alive here.  It's obvious he doesn't care.  I guess in the end it was just some pump and dump coin he created and now he's off to other things.  There are far better coins out there with active devs making real progress.  Better to invest time and money in those than this waste of cash.  I'm sorry I put as much money into it as I did.  I had heard Hiro was a talented coder, and that this was his personal pet project, but it's apparent now that he's lost interest in it.

So have I...

He mentioned he was saving some of the earnings to buy the PSU for the extra unit.  I'd imagine that milestone has been hit by now.

I assume there is no BFL refund.  It was either never made, or it was spent on something else.

Payout queue @ over 1 week.

Anyone know if this is the bug again?

May payout has been stuck in queue for over a week again.

It's because WK hasn't had time to do a manual payout to reduce the wait.
175  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow X-1 and X-3 (not modded by Black Arrow) Thread on: August 30, 2014, 12:29:47 AM
But what is that going to do?  Do you think Black Arrow will suddenly refund your money or send your miner out?  I don't.  I think the Government will shut them down and fine them.  Ending production completely and any chance of getting anything at all.  I agree, that might not matter here shortly if the difficulty keeps rocketing up.  However, getting the Chinese cops involved is not going to end up with anyone getting a check in the mail, I'm certain of that.

176  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: August 26, 2014, 06:32:05 PM
Everyone keeps saying that the money they paid via Bitcoin is still sitting in the wallet, untouched.  So if this is true, it would mean they are not broke, unless they somehow forgot their password to the wallet.  (Anything is possible.)

177  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow X-1 and X-3 (not modded by Black Arrow) Thread on: August 26, 2014, 05:56:14 PM
People say they are calling their lawyers, but nothing ever comes of it.  Apparently nobody wants to sink their teeth into Black Arrow for the bitcoins they haven't spent.

It's basically a total loss for a lot of people who are still waiting and may never get anything.  A lot of vocal folks who say they are going to do something about it, but haven't.
178  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED]Minion Chip Assembly GB on: August 25, 2014, 09:02:42 PM
They won't be useless.  You can apparently downclock a minion so that it gets 1gh at .5 watts.  Or basically around half of what you are running it here.  (If Black Arrow is to be believed anyway)   At that point, you're operating at a very good efficiency and can drag out the mining for quite some time, depending on where the difficulty goes.  If the difficulty rises too much, almost every miner out there will have to be switched off unless they get free electricity.

I'm not saying this is ideal, to operate it at half speed and only earn a handful of dollars, but just letting you know that you have some options to keep in the mining with these things if you lower the speed.

So how much is the final compensation? $1500?

Same question here, anyone know about the compensation ??

Also some help here .. Is it possible to have an SP-30 in a normal EU building 220V with 20A circuit ?
