Is there a slack channel or something?

I have just created a slack channel to try out (for those interested). Here is the invite:

is this wallet doesn't need any bootstrap anymore? or its still needed one just got curios about the wallet and this new updates
and while reading im impress with the team who's still willing to make this coin to progress. good luck

Bootstrap is still recommended to speed up the process. The new Vault builds will have the troubleshooting/bootstrap loader tool embedded and will launch soon with the proposed stage 1 fork outlined on the road-map.

I donated another 1k so we are up to 3115.

To clarify, these donated funds will NOT be spent. They are reserved for dev operated masternodes from which only the interest earnings will be used (strictly for CBX development).

Any help is appreciated and CBX owners will continue to benefit from this investment perpetually.

Thank you for the support!

How much longer for the poll?

Can multiple BPN's be run on the same PC?

We do not have a time table for taking down the poll. We are working on development and will factor in the results in our design decision.

Multiple BPNs can be run on the same PC.

awesome! i was curious about the masternodes, how is that going? have you guys decided on what amount of coins is needed to run one and what kind of ROI you can expect from the MN's?

Masternode coding is going very well, is on schedule and will move to testing soon.

Also, any idea why I am unable to withdraw CBX tokens from yobit or when it may be fixed? I asked yobit too but who knows when they will respond and knowing them they will say its something on the developers end

Yobit withdrawals have been off for CBX for quite some time now. Most have given up on the exchange and the consensus recommendation is to use Cryptopia at this time.

Okay seems that is fair enough.. if they donate 5k then that's cool. So long as they are doing something with my cgb cryptsy took that's at least something.

Lets not forget that full funding for the 2017 road-map development project has also been covered by helpthecoin. We are very fortunate to have them on-board as their financial support will get us to the point of self-funding.

is this coin still being developed in some way? it looks good, what is going on with masternodes being implemented?

Yes, development is well underway. Please refer to our published road-map on OP of this thread and let us know if you have any questions.

I am happy helpthecoin is sitting at the table with us, I think they are part of what CBX needed to reach the next level, just like you are helping with your experience and creative solutions...

Very well said, couldn't agree more.

Stage 1 of CBX 2017 Road-map update:

Coding for the hardfork to implement BPNs is almost complete (75%) and will soon begin internal testing. Next steps after completion will be as follows:
•   Auto bootstrap load / trouble shooting tool integration into Vault build
•   QR support
•   GUI redesign and addition of in wallet metrics

Hi all,

Does anyone know for how long is CBX withdrawal unavailable from YoBit?
And will it be enabled in soon future?

Thanks!

I don't trade there but as far as I have heard withdrawals have been offl for a while now. Per others on this thread yobit sounds uninterested in fixing or addressing the issue. Cryptopia is your best bet for purchase and withdrawal at this point.

Feel free to submit a support ticket to them about the issue.

Thank you for the clarification.
But still have a question, saying that a maximum of 250k CBX could be allocated into BPNs means that if at one point all the the 250k are full  even someone that will buy enough CBX for run a master node (2000, 1000, 500 or 250) will not be able to do so.
Don't you think that this is a disincentive to who will be willing to accumulate CBX even at higher price?

The Crypto Bullion concept is unlike the inflationary fiat system, and this is intentional. We operate within scarce conditions of coin generation with our currently less than 1 million coins and a low 2% annual inflation rate. BPNs will operate similarly (without a limitless supply). If all BPN spots are full, investors will still have the option to stake via PoSP or to enter into the queue to secure a BPN once one becomes available. As the price goes up we will naturally experience BPN owners that are willing to sell their spots to those offering to pay a higher coin cost, so in my view this is a self correcting problem.

If down the road we identify this as an issue, we will review alternative options via our self-governance function and achieve a consensus solution.

the non-synchronization thereof

Ok, no problem we can get you working. Please reference the OP of this thread for download links or go to the cryptobullion.io website and follow the below steps. (I am going to assume you have no coins on your current wallet.dat since you stated you keep your coins at the exchange, however if you do, please backup your wallet.dat first so you do not lose you coins. Then delete your old CryptoBullion files so we can give you a fresh start.)

1. Download the Vault
2. Launch the Vault
3. Close the Vault
4. Download the bootstrap
5. Drag the 2 downloaded files into your CryptoBullion roaming folder and replace the existing ones (also you can reinsert your wallet.dat at this point if it was backed up)
6. Relaunch Vault
7. Allow to sync

Please let me know if further detail is needed.

while i appreciate your response, i wasnt blaming as such, merely pointing out the ongoing wallet issue is not a problem elsewhere.

and keeping my few coins on an exchange is almost as good as having them in my coinomi wallet.

to assume my computers need looking over is an avoidance of the fact/heart of the matter.

fix it, dont ignore it   (or whatever)

What issue(s) are you experiencing with the Vault?
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTO BULLION (CBX) | Inventor of PoSP! | 2017 Road-Map PUBLISHED! on: July 19, 2017, 10:42:07 AM
Maybe I am missing something but why start another pool when you already had one with the clear result that 2000CBX would be the size preferred from the community?

The result was actually about even between 1k and 2k, however, the majority of votes were placed prior to our determination/explanation that a maximum of 250k CBX could be allocated into BPNs. This fact means there is another variable to consider in this vote as VonSpass explained.

2000 CBX = 125 max BPN
1000 CBX = 250 max BPN
500 CBX = 500 max BPN
250 CBX = 1000 max BPN

The amount to operate a BPN is one factor, however the number of potential operational BPN should also be considered in this decision.

When does voting end for masternode collateral?

This has not been determined but we will give notice before conclusion.

Are there plans to update the linux wallet?

Yes, new Vault builds will be provided for Windows, Mac and Linux.

Ewww.. gross!!

You've been 'visited' by the shvittiest group in crypto - i wont mention their name but you might want to rinse yourselves clean of the filth masquerading as concern/interest.

do you mean there was a well-known pump group involved in the price spike?

it is ok even if so, volume got us noticed & masternodes/BPNs have something of the self-fulfilling prophecy about them

getting in at this stage before whitepaper and before BPN implementation seems like a good thing.

I think this is in reference to a thread visit from another crypto team member.

Hi!

I can not sync my cbx vault for two months. I download botstrap and change folder and file from zip archive. After this sync completed on 70%, but after 5 min it rolled back to 48%.

Guys, it is not okay. For 2 month valet was sync only on 48%.

Are you using the newest version of the Vault? Backup your wallet.dat and re-download all of the CBX files. Then insert the bootstrap download and your wallet.dat.

Please report back.

one of the old project which still alive by now, maybe its time to bring more updates to its supporters to attract more investors.

Whit paper rough draft is complete, still needs a few revisions though and some graphs added in. Will publish as soon as possible but time is near.

Looking forward to reading!

Would it be possible to have 2 tiers of BPN's?

I ask this, as it may be easily achievable for some of the community to lock 1-2k of their funds away to run a node, but not so achievable for the majority. Especially as the price rises in the near future.

CBX has some strong followers, who have been around for years. Not all have been able to gather such a balance of CBX, or would be able to gather the funds to run a node in the future if the bar was set too high.

How hard would it be to, lets say, have 'Super/Major/Master Bullion Participation nodes' as well as regular BPN's?

If you were to set aside, as you mentioned in a previous post, 250k CBX for BPN.

125k to Super nodes

125k to normal

Lets suggest 5000 CBX to run a Super BPN = 25 available nodes

500 CBX to run a normal BPN = 300 available nodes

Even with the lower Tier at 500 CBX, I can see this rapidly moving out of most peoples reach in the not so distant future, so why not give everyone a fair chance at getting on board.

With this approach, the large holders would be more likely to lock away their balance using a SBPN, rather than a BPN, taking a larger portion of their CBX off the market, while allowing a larger portion of the community to participate in running a node themselves, thus taking a very large portion of the small holders (disposable!) CBX off the market.

Percentages wouldn't need to differ so much. Maybe an extra 0.5% -1% on a SBPN over a BPN, (0.5%-1% extra reward on a 5k node is pretty nice), but obviously maintaining the the baseline network annual reward.

Not sure how complicated this would be, or even if it is achievable

Just a little thought nevertheless

Thank you for the input. We will continue to analyze and evolve the algo as time goes by but that will be in 2018. We have a lot packed into the 2017 road-map so we need to adhere closely to it. Please keep these thoughts going though!
