Mind you at the beginning NXT was traded only on one single crappy exchange.

Having an exchange is good news.

considering non existent junk can wind up on any exchange, what's the hold up with this? it doesn't make much sense to be a fully established project with zero exchange presence.

Well said. It would make a lot sense to be listed on exchanges soon. I'm pretty sure that Semux devs are aware of this as they convinced me with their previous actions that they are clever people.

Hi guys!
XEL is available for fast exchanges on our service! We'll be happy to see you on https://changenow.io

 Smiley Your exchange looks nice.

Has anyone here used it before?

Is there any pool around that actually pays?

I used semuxpool_com which paid everyday 9:00 but last paid 4 days ago.

I tried another pool for couple of day2 but no payment

Now I'm at semux_2. Do they pay and how often?

semuxpool_com is offline - check discord and use another pool instead until it's fixed

Which repo I should use to run a full node on the main net?

Is it this one?

https://github.com/OrdinaryDude/elastic-core-maven

if you mean full client, that one is still testnet only. if you want to run a node and forge for rewards then this is the correct link
https://github.com/unvo1d/Elastic-XEL-Litewallet

Thanks.

Do you know if you can you switch elastic-core-maven to use main-net?

169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sirius A New Smart Chain Freely Distributed on: April 29, 2018, 08:25:28 AM

What country is the foundation being setup in? Who are the office holders etc

This is very good news indeed, but can you provide more information? The term 'foundation' conjures up something very specific in my mind - a legal entity registered with a government somewhere in a country operating with the rule of law by known individuals - is this what you guys have setup?

Their Foundation is based on Mauritius, Most probably its an offshore foundation.

as for the details of the Foundation its still being updated on their website to reflect all the information about their Mauritius Based SIRX Foundation.

Ok, thanks for that info, the devil is always in the details, cryptosphere moves in trends and setting up 'foundations' to add an air of credibility is a new one on the horizon, i'm hopeful this sirius foundation is legitimate and will help long term governance and development of the ecosystem.

Setting up a foundation for cryptocurrency is not a new thing see bitcoin foundation as an example.

But not all crypto developer are going on such length to setup a foundation for their cryptocurrency.

And its true that having a foundation setup for a crypto will add some legitimacy on the project and a good sign that the dev is here for the long haul.

They are so super busy they can't produce a single commit to the git repo since Jan 15?
Yeah, right....

Very smart and a right move Smiley Well done!

How long now take wallet synchronization? Before was much more faster, yeah i know that it was 1 month ago and the blockchain during this time has grown. But now it takes more than 10 hours.
You have a some problems with your PC or it works slowly, I turned on sem wallet now and from 90% to 100% sync it has been 12 minutes, this means that the full synchronization will take approximately 2 hours.

For me, 2 hours is a long time, 10 hours so it's sky-high figures) I think it's very long. Recently updated to version 1.1 and full synchronization took about 25-30 minutes.

LOL, have you ever tried to sync Bitcoin or Ethereum from height 1?

Is there a resource for comparing pools with info such as fees/min payout/payout frequency?

The info is from Semux discord pools channel (pinned message)

100_tokenpar_com 0% fees (min payout: 0.03?)
Tent - Tiger - Dragon - Night is taking 5% (min payout: 0.5)
Pool_borderline is taking 6% (and 0.3% for the developer of the pool) (min payout: 0.3)
lvl3pool is taking 12% (min payout: 0.25)
Phash is taking 7% (0.5% for the devs) (min payout: 0.3)
Semux_pool_party are taking 8% (and 0.5% for developer of pool) (min payout: 0.3)
cn_pool is taking around 10% (min payout: 0?)
Semuxpool_com and Semuxpool_com2 are taking 15% (developer of pool) (min payout: 0.1)
Mddsemuxpool - Mddsemuxpool2 are taking 15% (01 is donating % to dev) (min payout: 0.5)
General 01-02-03-04 are taking 18% (min payout: 0.5)
animal pool are taking 25% (min payout: 0) Must sign up at https://semux.info/pool
zmogi is taking 10%(Min. payout 0.25)
kolten are taking 10%(Min. payout 0.25)

a good project you need to add a roadmap so that participants are not confused in following this project flow and easy to understand.

Roadmap is on the website

Easter-Hackathon is up and you can participate until Sunday.

What we are basically looking for is a very cool retargeting mechanism for our artificial "blockchain" implemented in a simplified simulator.
If you are interested in hacking around a bit, and if you like to have those $500 worth of Bitcoin, then feel free to participate!

All instructions and information as well as the java based simulator that you will be working with can be found here:

Hi EK, I'm having trouble forging in the online XEL wallet (i've waited beyond the 750 confirmation blocks) - when I input my passphrase it says "Cannot forge with more than 1 accounts on the same node" - I feel like i'm missing some information on how to do it right.

You need to run a node yourself if you want to forge.

Markets have been ridiculously slow and bearish lately. Would love to see Wagerr do well, especially with the recent updates.

What are the latest updates?

Grin Grin woww, what i said.  Grin Grin
Hello,

can i get airdrop for BTC holder? and how to do it guys?
The airdrop for BTC holders is over.
Currently we're waiting for news about the upcoming airdrop for altcoin holders.

Sad thank you, i'm late. Anyways, i hope the next one will be airdrop for ETH holders.

that is really nice idea.  Cool but what is the rate? 1 ETH : 10 SEMUX.  Grin Grin Grin

That would be great. But since BTC was 1:20, I expect it will be less. More like 2 to 5.

They should probably increase the ratio because it is going to take forever. ETH community is even smaller. BTC airdrop ratio was way too low, so probably they should do another one with an increased ratio. Also they could add litecoin hodlers. UBTC is doing something similar, airdropping to some altcoin hodlers.

Best strategy would probably be make the last airdrop (BTC again) by the time it is first going to exchanges (like recently Bitcoin Private did). Hopefully in 2 months or so (?).

I would agree on increasing the ratio so people get more, otherwise it's a bit boring.... ie. sign & post etc to get...hmm 30 SEM? Meh...
