It is actually kind of sad to see Postecoglou’s Man fighting with Aston Villa to stay in the fourth position when they were showing good signs at the start of the season and almost looked like they were going to give good competition for the English Premier League title. Leverkusen are one of most impressive teams in Europe this season and recent forms of two clubs are different too. I don't understand the logic on why the upcoming election in the US will be pivotal in giving Bitcoin another ATH. America with all her shenanigan towards Bitcoin can never be said to aid it. I don't believe it will boost BTC price. What I know is that there's going to be some alts floated to raise money for major front runners in the elections and that's as far as it goes. Those alts can blossom but I don't see that transcending to Bitcoin. It's a coin–cidence that the US election is the same year of Bitcoin halving and that makes it look like it has any impact on it. It doesn't.
It is speculation on potential changes in politics in the USA. from Democratic party to Republic party as main political force in the country next four years. Because the Biden administration does not treat cryptocurrency industry fairly and friendly, people speculate that if the Republic Party takes their progress in the White House and Congress, there will be changes that are helpful for cryptocurrency industry. Well after the yesterday results in Bundesliga we can have a game changer in someways, because now Leverkusen is practically secured the title so they can rest players in their Bundesliga games if this is necesary.

They can focus most of their resources for Europa League, and it makes them stronger in this competition. Leverkusen had got smaller chance to win the Europa League compared to Liverpool, which has won the competition numerous times in the past and many people knew the history of liverpool at europa league. If you ask me which team has become my favorite, I would probably say Liverpool since it has proven its existence in europa league many times. Leverkusen is a strong club, but their performance in the Bundesliga does not convince me to pick them as my favorite team to win the competition for the current season.
Both Leverkusen and Liverpool have four matches to reach to the final match. They will have to beat two more opponents to appear in the final match of Europa League. If they meet each other in the Europa League final, chance will be 50/ 50 for each club. If Manchester United can get a draw from Liverpool and came very nearly to a winning, Leverkusen can do the same or better than Manchester United. BTC has been "pumped" massively ever since the spot ETFs were approved in the US a few months ago. The rise has been exponential, making BTC reach a new ATH before the halving. This has never happened before in the history of crypto (AFAIK).
It is a first time in Bitcoin history and it is contributed a lot by speculation on probability of Bitcoin Spot ETF approvals, then after approvals it was contributed by massive new capital from those ETFs. Without them, Bitcoin would have not made a new all time high many weeks before its halving in 2024. Considering that BTC is in a new ATH, I wonder if the halving is already priced in? If that's the case, then market prices will remain relatively the same post-halving. Don't you think?
First we have to look at its new ATH that is not too higher than 2021 ATH and today price is around its ATH in 2021. Second we have to look at trading volume. Trading volume recent weeks in 2024 is about one third or half of trading volume around days when Bitcoin made 2021 ATH. I believe price will not have reason to take off quickly after halving but we will gradually see new capital in and new ATHs in 2024. |
