This season everything has changed so what happened last season no longer applies and cannot be used as a reference for what will happen again this season.
Manchester City and Real Madrid are the two top European teams at the moment and these two teams have been favorites since the start of the season to win the CL title this season so I don't think either team is underestimating its opponent.

Everyone's betting choices and favorites are definitely different from each other's point of view and that's only natural, but what is certain is that these two teams have almost the same percentage of being able to advance to the semifinals.

We realize that ups and downs in a team performance will definitely occur and everything could be inversely proportional to last season, now Madrid has slightly better performance and consistency than Man City. Mukiele left the field while he was bleeding however I don't think if this can cause Mukiele to be absent against Barcelona because it was not very hard and only his mouth was damaged, not his legs or arms.
The game against Barcelona is one important step for PSG to finally achieve something in the Champions League.

What I know sometimes is that some teams will not be doing well in their domestic league, but other competitions will be performing well. I have witnessed seasons when Real Madrid was not doing well in their domestic league but they were doing so well in the champion league and even won the champions league , and even last season, Inter Milan was not doing so well in their domestic league but they were really did well in the champion league; in fact, Inter Milan even entered the final. So now that Bayern Munich is playing poorly in their domestic league, they may perform so well in the Champions League so we don't need to judge them fully based on their domestic performances. But let's see what will even happen in their first leg. From there, we can start judging. But all I can see is that it is not going to be an easy match.

I'm not a fan of Haaland but I enjoy watching his game, from my view Haaland is just over hyped just like what you said, the team still has great players especially Kevin besides expecting much from Haaland will be heart broken seeing what every defensive players do to Haaland. Arsenal really need to take home advantage maximally to beat Bayern, while they are in good form and high morale. This is their best opportunity to progress the next round, because they will have to stay focus on their title race in Premier League. The second leg is still uncertain, because anything can happen. Manchester city actually do try to appear like they are not dependent on any player but rather are independent of their players a d can always get results both in their absence or presence but then it usually becomes obvious in the fact that they still end up having a result that makes it obvious that the absence of a particular player is causing them not to get the kind of results they would get in the presence of such a player and one of such player is haland, his absence usually reflects in the number of goals Manchester city is able to get in a particular match unlike other matches.

Kevin de bruyne is also another good combination with haland that gets to help the productivity of Manchester city but the absence of one of them doesn't mean the team wouldn't be productive but they will in a way be affected by the kind of results they get but against Madrid I'm the champions league, due to how crucial that game is to them it's very likely that both key players will be playing that game except for injury.

Before the game is played, it is now looking one sided, like an uneven game and one team will be more favoured than the other. But the overall fact of the game is that, this is the champions league competitions and the team’s that are playing in the competition play football differently like they do in the league matches, so maybe, just maybe, we can’t quantify them totally by their performance in the league matches for now.

I mean Real managed to beat City before as well, and last year City managed to beat Madrid, they are both good teams and could beat each other, so it doesn't feel like that would be such a big bore, I think that seems to be the case, I feel like that seems like the most important part. I feel like the best thing about the current situation is that you could possibly make it work one way or another and should not be afraid of just going for the win.

Any team that plays too defensive against the other, would be only calling for a loss, so both teams should play as attacking as possible without fear. City could play a little bit more defensive and I fear that they could lose because of that, possession is great and all, but they need to score.

these two teams are truly extraordinary because they have been favorites since the UCL season started and in my opinion there is no worry for Ancelotti to face the challenges that Man City will give because Man City this season is different from last season which looked really very strong, even Real Madrid lost their mentality a little last season seeing Man City very fierce performance.
this season has become a comparison that the strong performance has turned into a little weak and I think Man City has the same strength of performance.

I don't doubt Man City but I always hope that Real Madrid can take revenge for last season's defeat.

City is still using Lewis as Walker's replacement, and he did pretty well in the last matches. There's no need to worry about that since we have Lewis, who played as a wing back. City can change the scheme to see three CB. akan is also ready to play against real madrid since he has been also playing in EPL.
I think Pep has an alternative solution when some players are not ready to face Madrid. We have Akanji, Dias, and Stones when we play three backs. I'm not even worrying if Walker and Nathan ake will not be able to play.

Lately I haven't been following Bayern's Bundesliga games. But I checked it just now and yeah it was quite surprising to see Bayern losing point after point there. Maybe Bayern is no longer enthusiastic about playing optimally in the Bundesliga. Because they know that they can no longer catch Leverkusen there. But Bayern will probably only secure their current position so they can still get tickets to the UCL next season. Bayern's shortcomings may be the same as in the middle of the season. Namely, they have great forward players but they have a lot of gaps at the back. The Champions League Competition is much different from the Bundesliga League Competition and also the Premier League Competition, don't forget Bayern Munich are big gun in European Competitions.

Bayern Munich performance at Bundesliga is compeletely messed up because they were suffering 2 losing streak at there and obviously Bayern Munich will be failed to defend their title and i have to says this is the worst season for Bayern Munich in the last 10 seasons in Bundesliga and Tuchel is really under pressure because Bayern Munich possibly will be ended this season without a single trophy even some fans are demanding Tuchel should be sacked before this season ended and for Arsenal they are is really on fire because in Premier League Arsenal is really unstoppable and currently they were successfully to taking over first place from Liverpool

But do not forget Champion League atmosphere is very different compared to their domestic league and although Arsenal is performing well at Premier League but there is no guarantee Arsenal will be able to performing fantastic too and previously i have seen plenty there was a particular team who can able to performing well at their domestic league but they have to eliminate in this competition but first leg will be held at Arsenal home ground and obviously Arsenal is the favourite but my predictions is there is a possibility for Bayen Munich to gets at least draw results from Arsenal or for betting option both teams to scores is safe bets i think

This is for sure, the views of the Real - City match will significantly exceed the Bayern and Arsenal match, and this is not surprising. Both teams are favorites to win this season. Both teams have the same chance of winning. City looks stronger than Madrid but Real Madrid can play very solidly and can win even with just one goal.

The first leg will be played at the Santiago Bernabéu. This could be an advantage for Madrid. If they can win the match at home it will make City play under pressure in the second leg. But if Madrid loses or draws this match, City's chances of qualifying for the semifinals will be even greater. I choose Madrid to win this match.
