161  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 BetFury.io|⭕️BFG in a Squid NFT World on Biswap⭕️|🏰New in-house game Tower on: February 03, 2022, 02:24:24 AM
So TRX withdrawal from Betfury using contract address? I withdrew TRX to another site then I lost the funds because the sender used a contract address even though I was using  TRC20 network. So here I want to remind anyone who wants to make a withdrawal that you should use a personal address not to other sites or confirm in advance your destination address.

If the Betfury team uses trx smart contracts, they should add more information about it to the withdrawal window. At least it would help other users avoid such unpleasant situations when withdrawing funds to other sites. By the way, have you tried contacting support on that site? It seems to me that they can return the funds to you, but it will most likely take a long time.

Yeah agreed.

However I think that it's just good practice whenever you are withdrawing smart contract coins to only send to your personal address.

You never know what's going to happen with the withdrawal especially if this is the first time you are doing so. So might as well play it safe rather than be sorry later on.
162  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is there a way to get correct scores of the day and week? on: February 03, 2022, 02:18:03 AM
I would advise against trusting a particular tipster blindly.

Sure, the strategy may work for a few games but at the end of the day it's incredibly hard to outperform the betting markets long term.

Highly suggest that you either go with proven tipsters with thousands of games under their belt, or just not at all. It's not worth the few dollars you earn in EV on each bet you do.
163  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamdom.com - 3 Million+ users - Jackpots, Rains - unique games modes on: February 03, 2022, 02:13:27 AM
Hello, I'm new to gamdom.com. I don't like dealing with procedures like KYC. Wondering if you request KYC during withdrawal?

I've played quite a lot and never been asked to provide ID.

But whenever you are playing on a casino you should expect to be providing KYC docs. There is simply no way around it.

If you are uncomfortable, don't deposit a big amount. Have a small amount to start off and you should be able to go under the radar for a while at the very least.
164  Economy / Economics / Re: The rise of the anti-work movement on: February 03, 2022, 02:07:37 AM
The interview that one of the Reddit mods did on Fox was just completely hilarious.

I think that a lot of the sentiment in the anti-work movement is simply a reflection of peoples' dissatisfaction with their current state instead of an ideological battle.

If given the chance to work in a high-performance, high-pay job, most of these people would jump at it still.
165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 03, 2022, 02:04:11 AM
Been enjoying watching the young Memphis team play with swagger all year.  Ja is going to be the face of the nba soon enough (pissed the Knicks were one pick short of ja Sad)

Tonight Memphis comes to MSG, would like to see the Knicks stopping messing around and play some inspired basketball.  Winning tonight would go a long way to changing the course of the season.  RJ better be up for this game.  Wild card is quentin grimes keeping Bane and/or ja in check.  Hope thibs starts grimes need his d out there tonight.

Morant is definitely an up and coming MVP in my opinion.

However, I wouldn't bet my money on him staying healthy the whole way. The way he plays is very Rose-esque and I don't feel like it is particularly sustainable.

Hopefully he does without his one-legged landings and start to work on the way he preserves his body as well as how he actually plays.
166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [LIST]Countries Where Gambling Is Illegal on: February 03, 2022, 02:01:10 AM
In most of these countries, gambling simply comes back in another form.

E.g. in Japan, there is a ton of Pachinko parlors which pose as some sort of innocent gaming place but in reality is just another casino establishment.

This is why banning gambling is so pointless - you will simply have other forms of more inefficient forms of gambling happen in the country anyway.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Considering the security factor of Altcoins? on: January 31, 2022, 11:09:49 PM
Hello guys,

Was thinking to myself how do you consider the security factor before the investment? Huh

I just started trading crypto and was debating between some coins, mostly considering the security factor of the project.

How are you checking if the code of the project is secure? don't you afraid of rug pulls? scams stolen crypto.

Do you use any tool that aids in this kind of investigation?

Of course. Which is why I only invest on audited DeFi platforms.

Sure, they are not going to be entirely secure just because something has been audited in the past, but it is definitely a much better chance that they don't rugpull as a result if there is an audit done by a reputable firm.

If you are just blindly throwing money out there, it is the Wild West at the end of the day so you should expect to get rugged sooner or later.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is that true that every single coin (ETH, BTC or any other) is unique? on: January 31, 2022, 11:00:17 PM
Yesterday while watching a show on TV, the presenter was saying that unlike usual fiat money, every single coin (could be BTC or ETH) can be identified, meaning that you can trace its movement on the chain. And I thought, this is not the initial idea. For some reason I thought that the BTC (or ETH, or any other coin) is fungible (this is a new term I learned recently, and not sure if I can use it in this context).

What is interesting here is that if every single coin can be unique and distinguishable from other coin, then you can trace its movement, and see who is selling, buying or holding it. Is this how it works?

No...?

I don't think that this is the case. Otherwise there would be no reason for NFTs to be so groundbreaking.

In an economic sense they are definitely fungible. You could say that chunks of coin are distinct digital entities from one another but that is just as useless as saying that they are different 1s and 0s on the network.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Transfer Fee of ETH and BTC on: January 31, 2022, 10:53:34 PM
Hey
how can i check or calculate ETH / BTC / USDT fee for transfering from trust wallet to another wallet ?
is there any specific rule how this fee calculated ?

is transferring from trustwallet to trustwallet (internal transfer) free ?
or any wallet that have internal (free) option?

is there a difference between BTC address? some one told me that new BTC address has cheaper fee when we want to transfer BTC tho them.

When you transact via metamask or ledger it should give you a max fee before ETH.

Alternatively, you can check yourself on sites like Etherscan for ETH and average bitcoin fees are pretty much everywhere.

I'd say that you probably want to keep in touch with gas fees more than BTC fees - BTC is generally quite cheap to transact nowadays whereas ETH transactions take hundreds of dollars to execute.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should There Be A Metaverse Constitution? on: January 31, 2022, 10:09:31 PM
The thing is that the metaverse can coexist with the traditional law system.

There is nothing that says that can't happen. And it's happening already. Things which happen in the metaverse are still governable by rules and regulations and are not out of the bounds of law.

So with that said, it would be completely unnecessary and unfathomable that this happens (if the developers have some sense and don't want regulators to jump on their backs).
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How will Coinmarketcap look in 2025? on: January 31, 2022, 10:00:20 PM
This is a bit of a long shot.

I agree with IOTA climbing the ranks a lot more because it is one of the more underappreciated projects in the space. A ton of development, and very groundbreaking DAG technology, but not a whole lot of price action right now.

BTC and ETH are still going to be the top 2 cryptos in 3 years time regardless of how the rest of the market plays out. That's for sure in my opinion.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does Luna( Terra) worth to invest? on: January 31, 2022, 09:52:13 PM
I find their key project Anchor protocol quite shady. It's ponzi like.

The coin itself is fine in my opinion but it's nothing out of the ordinary. I'd probably rather put my money in some other DeFi project that has a bit more potential for mainstream adoption like Fantom.

The UST-MIM degenbox strat is a different story though and that is not going to last forever.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best tokens for arbitrage trading? on: January 31, 2022, 09:46:43 PM
Hello friends
I have heard that there are people who earn income by trading arbitrage. I am very inexperienced at this. Which token or coin do you think would be suitable for arbitrage trading? Thank you.

Probably stablecoins?

If you believe in a stablecoin's ability to hold peg and there is a short term depeg, this can be an excellent opportunity to capitalize.

E.g. UST has depegged to less than 90c before which means that if you could snatch a bunch up at that price it would essentially be 10%+ instant profit as the peg recovered.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 🔺let's admit it, Bitcoin time is over, now DEFI Time 🔺 on: January 31, 2022, 09:31:11 PM
Then tell me why has BTC dominance risen relative to rest of the altcoins this bear market?

BTC is still the primary store of value in this space, don't get it twisted. It is just that DeFi is growing at an exponential rate, which is definitely fair enough given its utility.

I expect DeFi to grow but it's not the only thing in town. BTC is here to stay, so are NFTs, P2E, etc.
175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com & responsible gambling? on: January 31, 2022, 09:20:09 PM
User asked to close his account because he is addicted. The casino continued to send him information about promotions. How could this be the user's fault?
If I make such a request and get a confirmation, why do I need to do additional tasks?

But should we wait for long before doing another action? That was a crap response that we can't move forward on our gambling problem because the platform is still not working to fix those email service problems.

It's something that there are lots of options to solve but still, OP is really eager to wait for that thing to solve instead of just moving forward. If anyone is eager and serious to change, they will find a way to solve their problem.

Makes absolutely zero sense.

You are talking about money lost here and it is fair for the OP to try to seek recourse.

Yes, he should make personal leaps in terms of gambling addiction but I don't think that it is fair to place the entire onus of the loss on the OP's hands. He has declared self exclusion so he should reasonably expect to get it from Stake.
176  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚡Thunderpick.com ⚡ Crypto Esports Betting on: January 31, 2022, 09:10:04 PM
Welcome to the forum!

Seems like a well funded project which a lot of thought put into the design and layout of the site.

I like the social aspects of gaming so focusing your site around that is definitely not a terrible idea at all. Only thing that I would say is that you want high limits for the whales to come and bet on esports - the only thing stopping them right now is the lack of limits on most other major sites.
177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: January 31, 2022, 08:56:39 PM
~What is your personal bet on the next big events in the betting industry?

These days here or there bets are accepted literally on anything, so it's hard to imagine an improvement in this sector. The quality of service is on the highest level on many gambling sites too. But it's not like there is no room for refinement, of course. For example, most online slots have the minimum bet set at $0.1-$0.2, and there are even those with around $4 as min bet. With the help of crypto currencies, technically, we can bet small fractions of a cent, but I personally don't know slots that allow less than $0.01 minimum bet. But why not? Since there's a fun mode where you can play infinitely staking zero of real money, why betting with, say, $0.0001, is not allowed?

I think in the future the platforms allowing the smallest bets will be booming.

I think that this is an excellent point.

It's probably going to be an eventuality as well. With more integration with decentralized infrastructure we are definitely going to see minimum bet sizes go way down as time goes on.

This is a tangible benefit that we can get from the crypto gambling industry without any fancy stuff like NFTs, Web3.0 which are just unnecessary at this point.
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 31, 2022, 08:45:10 PM
I see a delightful game tonight: Boston Celtics vs Miami Heat. Heat are the leader of the Eastern Conference right now and Celtics are eight positions below them in the standings. Heat have six more wins than them right now. Heat are having an amazing time this season but Celtics seem to be a tough target for them. They played against each other once this season and Celtics defeated them by 95-78 away. Even this must be enough for Heat to be cautious. I expect to see a more competitive game this time but Heat should be able to win this.

The Heat is definitely the team to beat here.

Celtics are still a raw product in my opinion with a lot of the weight of the team landed on Jayson Tatum's hands. If he has a great game then they win, if he doesn't then they are in shambles.

Not sure what to make of them but wouldn't consider them to be a contender just yet.
179  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamdom.com - 3 Million+ users - Jackpots, Rains - unique games modes on: January 31, 2022, 08:42:13 PM
The thread was busy when the campaign was active again and it paid very high fees it became one of Gamdom's best promotions and if I'm not mistaken this is the second signature campaign promotion but rates have not changed.

I used to know about Gamdom casino and I forgot again because the thread sank because it didn't exist and indeed the OP didn't provide updates, but I'm a bit confused whether Gamdom enforces KYC? in the signature thread (Users can wd no kyc) it means that other than participants in this campaign, KYC is required right?

I have played on Gamdom for many years and I have never been KYC'd.

So the disclosure on the signature thread should be general in nature instead of specifically applied to signature campaign users.

But at the end of the day, with any centralized platform there will be some sort of regulatory risk and regardless of the track record of these things they could always change their tune. Hopefully Gamdom doesn't play that game though.
180  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚡8BET.io⚡ COINOPOLIS II Crypto Slot ⚡ LOCKED EXPANDING WILD RESPINS 💥 on: January 31, 2022, 08:35:12 PM
There seems to be a lot of promo codes floating around.

May I just ask what are the terms and conditions with these bonus bets? Are there wagering requirements that people need to be aware of etc.?

Also, are these free bets stackable? I.e. are you able to claim multiple free bets and use them at once. Sorry for the questions and thanks for clarifying in advance!
