The Chicago Bulls - Portland Trail Blazers game was one of the delightful games last night. Bulls were the highly favourite team and they did what was expected from them by 130-116. Portland are having big difficulties in the absence of Damian Lillard now. He has been out for a long time and he is not expected return before March 15. Portland are under the risk of staying out of the playoff area by two wins. On the other hand, Bulls are doing awesome and they are at the second place in their conference now. I wonder what they will do in the playoffs.

I blame Frank Vogel. He used to be one of my favorite coaches before this year, but he’s absolutely terrible for the Lakers. A team with 5 hall of famers and Malik Monk is leading them… Dwight Howard playing at a top level and getting next to no minutes is downright disrespectful. If Frank Vogel is still the Lakers coach after the all star break then I’ll be shocked. He’s a great guy and like I said one of my favorite coaches, but he’s got to go if the Lakers want to have a chance of getting beyond the first round of the playoffs, and to be honest if he’s the coach I don’t see them getting past the play-in game.

I'm not sure why Vogel even deserved the credit for the Lakers winning.

But yeah, it's definitely time to swap him out for someone else with fresh ideas and a better leader in my opinion. It's not an easy job and definitely not for anyone so the Buss family needs to choose wisely.

But honestly, the championship chances with LeBron at the helm is slim - he is aging at the end of the day.

Luka Doncic had another triple double and a close win. His 43rd triple double in his career. Only at 22 years old. Quite an accomplishment. And he was not selfish during the clutch time also, I feel he is much better than the other selfish stars, and for the long run can be more successful. Orlando Magic is not doing so good this season, although they fought strong but couldn't finish at the end. They had a great second quarter, really admirable. It seems like Dallas can hold on to the sixth position in the western conference but how far can they go in the playoffs, that is very likely to be the first round. Still let us see what Luka magic can accomplish.

Luka is the future of the NBA, I think he can break the record of Westbrook with the way he is playing at 22 years old.

There are a lot of upsets in tonight's game, and luckily the Mavs edges out the Magic in a very close match. Bucks lost a huge margin 36 points at their home court.

Maybe they are still giving him the chance now because of the championship he brought to the Lakers in the bubble.

But yeah, it's definitely time to swap him out for someone else with fresh ideas and a better leader in my opinion. It's not an easy job and definitely not for anyone so the Buss family needs to choose wisely.

True, I doubt that the Lakers could won the first round of playoffs if ever they qualify for this season. Maybe his system is no longer working and iits time for the Lakers to have a fresh start with no coach.

As for Lebron's chances, definitely gonna hurt him this season. At the beginning they are the favorite to win the championship but look at where they are right now.

I really think so too that the management should let Vogel go and find another head coach who can truly help the roster as he's not really that effective anymore on the Lakers this season. That's their only option for now, it's a pity seeing them in that situation when infact they had the best all time players too especially LeBron who have so much burden on his shoulder despite of his age.

If this really continue with Vogel as their head coach, the chances to be in the playoffs to are indeed slim what more in the Finals. Just saying!

But there's a problem. Who will be the coach to replace him who has better winning percentage in his CV?
This will be a big risk for the team also as having a new kind of play might lower their chances of being in the playoffs or Finals. It will be a decision that must be carried out with all the risk being considered. I hope it's that easy to just take him out and everything will be cured.

I thought Spurs will be the one to break the streak but CP3 just amazes me more as time goes by. His calm gestures makes every Suns player avoid being on panic everytime they are on a crucial moment.
That sigh of Coach Monty tells how difficult it is to keep up with the streak. They may be exhausted and want to just give in but CP3 and Booker wouldn't just let go of the game against the Spurs.

Luka has just entered the 4th year of his career and he's doing really well as the most valuable player in his team that has the biggest contribution on his team's success. However, he could've carry his team into the Finals or even in the conference finals by now, I mean LeBron brought the Cavs with a bunch of nobodies in the finals in his 4th year. Luka and LeBron has been compared many times as they both are a good all around player.
I know Luka could dominate the league in the next couple of years, let's just see how the Mavericks help him to win a championship.

Remember that Lebron has an easier journey because he was playing on the East team before where the competition is not that tight compared to the West. And please tell me, what seasons are you referring to that Lebron is playing with the Cavaliers with the bunch of nobodies? It makes me interested though.

I think he is referring to the 2017-2018 Cavaliers where he lead his team to the NBA Finals but got swept by the Warriors.
Well, I saw that playoff run by the Cavaliers and we saw how one-sided the offense of Cavaliers at that time. Its like Lebron Vs. all but to call them bunch of nobodies is I think isn't good because after all, basketball is a team game and all of them still have contributions that's why they got into the NBA Finals.

Well, the competition right now is really harder than where it was years ago. Now with regards to Luka, just give him better players around him and he can lead the team as well. We've seen it when they entered the playoffs 2 seasons ago where he lead that team. Him himself isn't enough to carry the team to the Finals. He needs another all-star to increase its chances and I think its pretty obvious already that if you want to be a championship team, you might need at least 2 all-star players in the team. Luka's achievements are nowhere near to Lebron so comparing him as early as now is I think irrelevant.

It's been a few days since I watched the NBA. I went after some information and found that the Lakers lost again, Trae Young played extremely well, LJ didn't play but AD returned and scored 27 points and Monk stood out with 33 points.

Lakers return to 9th place, will they can return and qualify to the playoffs? That's my question!

By the way... highlight to the Suns, with 81% of victory and 10 consecutive victories, these are expressive and interesting numbers!

Yeah with AD back and monk playing well they still couldn't win.  They are going to struggle the rest of the year.  If I were them I'd break this whole thing up including lebron.  They could reload with a ton of great picks.  The group isn't going to be able to compete with the top tier teams.

Luka is the future of the NBA, I think he can break the record of Westbrook with the way he is playing at 22 years old.

I also see him as the future face of this league, still young and has a lot to improve. The way he plays the game is very natural, his talent

continue to shine, within another year or two he will increase his potential just hoping no major injury will happen to this young super star.

Quote
There are a lot of upsets in tonight's game, and luckily the Mavs edges out the Magic in a very close match. Bucks lost a huge margin 36 points at their home court.
It was an upset considering that they are playing at home, 36 points is far from how most of us anticipate this game, lucky for those who pick

the handicap and ML favoring the Nuggets.

Jokic is the first NBA player to record at least 400 points, 200 rebounds, and 100 assists in a calendar month since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in March 1976.

There are a lot of upsets in tonight's game, and luckily the Mavs edges out the Magic in a very close match. Bucks lost a huge margin 36 points at their home court.

I also agree Lebron case is different because of the eastern conference at that time. And also I specifically remember the 'His Travelness' jokes. He was not that as amazing as people made out him to be. And he couldn't get the title. I know he was very young but I don't think Luka's case and Lebron's case are similar. The NBA and basketball generally also changed a lot, as it is natural for almost 20 years time. Basketball was also very different between 1985 and 2005. The important thing is Luka as a european player is doing great already at the age of 22 in NBA. We can say he is getting everyone's respect and future is very very bright for him.

Yes, this is something plausible, I hope they improve... because if the Lakers qualify for the playoffs in 8th or 7th place in the conference, they can face the Warriors in the first round of the playoffs and in the days today's GSW is one of the worst teams anyone would want to face in the playoffs, even more with Thompson's return!

wow, is this real!!?
I swore that one of the only players who could have accomplished this feat was Jordan in the 90's.
I would never have imagined that this kind of record had been intact since 1976.
Congrats to Jokic!

Lakers have 24-27 record now. Which means they need to win 3 games in a row before they could even be 50%. That is just unacceptable, I know talking about how bad Lakers are right now is something people are sick of, we have been doing this all season but it just gets worse and worse each day.

While Suns managed to get to 40 wins before they had 10 losses, that is something insane to achieve. They are on pace for like a 67 win season, don't know if they will do that or not but they will most probably be 60-65 range at the very least. Rarely teams lose championships when they are at that level, I am not saying that they will win it, but to me they are the ones with the biggest chance right now.

I see a delightful game tonight: Boston Celtics vs Miami Heat. Heat are the leader of the Eastern Conference right now and Celtics are eight positions below them in the standings. Heat have six more wins than them right now. Heat are having an amazing time this season but Celtics seem to be a tough target for them. They played against each other once this season and Celtics defeated them by 95-78 away. Even this must be enough for Heat to be cautious. I expect to see a more competitive game this time but Heat should be able to win this.

The Heat is definitely the team to beat here.

Celtics are still a raw product in my opinion with a lot of the weight of the team landed on Jayson Tatum's hands. If he has a great game then they win, if he doesn't then they are in shambles.

Not sure what to make of them but wouldn't consider them to be a contender just yet.

I was just about to write that Jayson Tatum is the man to watch for this game. He is doing good recently. He scored 38 against Pelicans lastly and also he was quite strong and dominant. I really enjoyed how he performed. On the Heat side, Jimmy Butler is also doing great and with Bam's return, they seem much stronger and the results are showing. The Heat have won three of four and nine of their last twelve games. I favour the Heat for this match-up, they are the better team and they will want to send a message with a win against Celtics.
