maybe more crypto investors from continental Europe and America. but actually Asia is the biggest market for crypto because it has the most populous countries like China, India and Indonesia. and more importantly, Asia also has fairly stable internet access at the moment, unlike Africa which is still having trouble getting to the internet. many business models that can be applied there, especially in the financial sector such as payment instruments. but why the reality isn't what I imagined. at present crypto is only a notion and there is no real use that can really be applied to crypto except investment.
many think it's all because of the Regulation, but I don't think so. Regulations can be changed and there are currently no regulations that actually prohibit crypto. so this is not the main reason.

winter usually good for crypto.
Hopefully, this winter is going to finally push a bull run on the altcoins. A bit tired of HODLing for so long now I need a good price action on the bags I am holding lol. in order for this to happen, first, people need to stop dumping altcoins and stop thinking the world is going to end when bitcoin is dumping. second, people need to think beyond this no light, never ending tunnel smart contracts and ico craps. people need to stop scams and make money out of people with these ico craps, rather focus making money with something like dapp. in dapp purchase like android or apple apps, or example is fortnite in game purchasing. instead of purchasing in game goods/stuffs with credit card or paypal, use blockchain/crypto. i already see this in eos but none of the dapps going/doing big yet. i personally think something big will happen soon in cryptoland and sorry to say it will not be on ethereum network. ethereum is stuck with smart contracts and scam ico's for now, oh, and network bottleneck... the reason altcoins and crypto slump right now people are looking for direction, something big. again and again, this smart contracts and scams ico/eco/tco/kco/xxxo are overrated! you should know and i should know better the scams would not sustain forever when 99.999% of these are disappeared/stand still/have no clue/doing nothing after the forked/ after they're making/secured the moola most are gone, to create another scam |

This Istanbul testnet fork caused Ethereum network split, and this is one more proof why good testing is needed before mainnet. On a good note I noticed a lot lower fees on eth network recently Does this mean that now we will get another coin? Like the one which gave us ETC? Or this is just a routine fork that won't play any major role. you need to know all these dramas is still in the testnet phase |

Well there are numerous coins out there that outcompetes ETH and XRP, Unfortunately both have first mover advantage hence it's highly unlikely any of those coins to get in 2/3 rank. Maybe Libra(Or any other coin by tech giants) will take the 2nd place someday?
Libra? If you're talking about decentralization, Libra won't cut it. I don't expect Facebook to share maximum benefits of maintaining a Libra node, unlike true decentralized networks like Bitcoin. They will always make sure they have the majority of whatever they plan to use as a validating node. libra is sure much better than those tether, i would take libra over all those out of thin air stable coins any day. |

I knew of ETHEREUM when it was pennies on the dollar and was so stupid that I didn't buy at the time a few thousand to keep for a better day. So many people have become very wealthy just because they bought ETH when it was dirt cheap. I don't know now if there is any chance to make that kind of wealth again in the Cryptosphere. I personally think those days are over now and those huge gains were made by the early adopters who just bought a few bags and then saw their investment skyrocket. I believe though the technology is here to stay and maybe in the future, we might have some good projects off of the Ethereum network that might make a few people happy financially, but it's those who invested in ETH early, who are the real winners here. At least we can congratulate their foresight at least if anything.
Yes unfortunately we miss investing in some excellent get-rich opportunities such as Ethereum and sometimes invest in fraudulent projects instead. It is all part of the learning process. i remember a friend of mine telling me back then to buy eth and price was between $10-$15 there about and i said to him - that coin already too expensive to invest on he should forget about it and buy something cheaper..... Damn! if only i could see future or have a time travel machine, but now it feels there are no such great project that are cheap to invest on, 2017 was really a great year for those who took full advantage of it, hope we can see better years ahead. I ctually bought eth at 13$ but since i am afraid i only bough 1 pcs of eth . and im not able to get rich with only 1 pcs . i wish i investt all my money that time and sell it in 2017 . no one can predict the future, simple as that. |

Betamax was a much better technology than VHS. Better technology for Dapps isn't the focus, the one killer Dapp should be, and odds are it'll be on the Ethereum network just from the numbers.
