1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / LISK is taking over ETH or just another hype scam coin? on: March 29, 2016, 09:11:34 AM
LISK and ETH are both scam in my book but will see how long will it overlapped each other, it is going to be fun to watch.
1109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: March 29, 2016, 09:02:46 AM
ETH is not too complicated... I want to point out the major two differences that interested me in LISK.. Coding is done in Javascript rather than the proprietary Solidarity, this is a big one for me... the other is that LISK took a model that is complex and broke it down into something I could understand in minutes. I discovered ETH during the frontier phase. Their website and documentation, even the clients eth and eth, were certainly less than forgiving. I spent soooo much time reading the documentation, reverting to blogs, back to wikis.. half of it was outdated.. other parts were just completely wrong.

LISK has some significant advantages to Ethereum. I'm not saying LISK is better. I'm noting they are more user-friendly. Both coins inarguably hold potential. The devs at ETH are wtf smart. But as I've said before... I don't think it's a useful exercise to compare ETH and LISK directly. Apples are good. So are Oranges. I'm not sure one is better than the other.

And for gods sake, stop telling me Oranges are a scam. If you don't like Oranges, then don't f$&#*&! have any. I like oranges, I participated in the ICO. Go start a thread about how much you hate oranges and stop trolling here. You all know who you are. (Oh and if I can fit in a plug here: our faucet pays out up to 500k satoshi... just saying... check it out!)

i can confirmed ETH is complicated useless crap. the coin is almost 3 years old and it have achieve nothing, beside the dapp idea.
1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Etherium going to be a Corporate coin? on: March 25, 2016, 04:29:14 AM
One of the great things about Ether is that is has been so profitable for many small players in crypto land Smiley
But, something about it makes me wonder it's all really in the best interests of most Crypto folk.

The price has gone up enormously.  Big corporations and banks are looking at using it, and wealthy traders throw around hundreds and even thousands of Bitcoin at it all day and night, pumping the coin as large bids and offers appear and disappear without trading often.
Major banks wont want to use it unless they control it I don't think. Why would they use something they could not control?

I love the idea of Ether but would prefer to use and be involved with something not controlled or associated with or by big corporate interests

I'm interested in others thoughts on this.

Maybe I'm just old fashioned?

just some mental players play in a big way, example you take bittrex bobsurplus play book then add few zero and moved it to polo. all end up the same. no corporate crap is playing. smart and legitimate money dont considered crap like etholium which already three years and still dont have a good solid working wallet, the team dont even understand their own crap and direction
1111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft been adding lots of alts to Azure. What exactly they do with them? on: March 25, 2016, 04:18:13 AM
On reddit, fluffypony says:

We contacted them, they told us what we needed to do. It basically consisted of signing a Contributor License Agreement, submitting a PR to the Azure templates Github repo, and sending them a write-up. Took us like 3 or 4 hours:)

All the altcoins saying that Microsoft is "partnering" with them are being disingenuous - you are a partner inasmuch as you have a BizSpark account and signed a CLA.

nonesense coins/craplatform like emersoncoin, fattom, etholium just coming out of a rat hole are making millions and millions from this partnerships. instant millionaires for these guys who are most cant even code
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best wallet for Ether? on: March 23, 2016, 02:52:01 PM

1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft's BaaS on Azure: More = Merrier? on: March 17, 2016, 12:08:59 PM
Wasn't there an actual statement that said they want all blockchains on their platform.
I mean MS really doesn't stand to lose anything from adding any and all blockchain projects. I think to them it really is the more the merrier. I mean they've now added a platform pre-release. If you get the template right and deployment works I really think they'd add any platform that comes their way.

yes, there is a statement somewhere on coindesk i had read which stated microsoft azure want to have all coins in one place, including all the shitcoins.
1116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: State of Peercoin = Dire ? on: March 14, 2016, 05:44:01 PM
peercoin should call itself a platform, every scam coins now call itself a platform and bump it to 2.0 which do much better.

1120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH GETTING DUMPED HARD!!!! on: March 14, 2016, 05:32:52 PM
You guys are delusional, even if ethereum's dev's team deliver half they promise, eth will surpass bitcoin.
Ether could be superior in many ways , but if Bitcoin has only 21 million coins and ether has unlimited then I can't see ethers coins being worth more.

If ether ends up with 1 billion coins and BTC still only has 21 million then.....it's hard to see ethers "coins" worth anywhere near a bitcoin.

Or am I missing something?

you're not missing anything. supply side of ETH is massive. the mistake some people are making is that they look at the ETH price and compare it to BTC without considering supply side ratios, and they think ETH is "cheap". at $14 ether when adjusted to BTC at +5x supply is over $75.

$75 vs $410

and people say BTC is cheap at this price. So $75 is still a steal considering that Bitcoin is a pocket calculator and Ethereum is a PC.

last year BTC was at $225. the present price is unattractive in any sane investor. the 'halving' is hype.

crap coin shill fanatic
