Anyone know what the 1/1 Rookie card is worth? The Black Lotus Magic card goes for over $350k This is the rarest of rare rookie cards for bitcoin. It's not a blank back or mini card, it is the 1/1 Standard sized card. This is the rarest card pulled from hundred of thousands of packs   Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

To me it looks like you're either trying to scam or have been scammed by someone with a typewriter. If you look at the following cards none have the perfect machine inked 1/1 written in the font your card has.

These are handwritten in pen x/25.

Also a 1/1 as you claim your card is, but this is numbered in pen 1/1.

The mini black printing plates seem to have "1 of 1" printed on them by a machine and in completely different font than your card, including the use of the word "of" rather than the /

Red mini, by far some of the rarest most sought after cards... once again x/5 written in pen.

I could be totally wrong here and we'll wait for one of the experts in this thread to confirm. As a lurker of this thread this looks like a very suspicious attempt to sell a regular card that you added 1/1 to yourself. Your brand new registered account doesn't lend any help to this.

162  Economy / Collectibles / Re: package from Kryptowerks received! on: July 28, 2020, 11:00:54 PM
Just a recommendation, if u like to post your receiving from different members you can start 1 thread like this. Most of the people lock their topics once the sale/raffle/auction is over. So just keeping 1 thread will help u and others.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5112323
I agree. It is exciting to receive stuff but if every single one of us created a new post every time we received something new this forum would be a mess. You're a good addition to the forum but you need to work on your posting etiquette. You can't be knocking people off page 1 with posts like this.
163  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Bitcoin Epoxy Art for sale on: July 19, 2020, 02:07:55 PM
I had commissioned a piece from Eppo earlier this year and it was such a fun experience. We went back and forth with ideas and he kept me up to date with weekly, sometimes daily video updates.
I haven't shown it off yet due to waiting on a "whited-out" lighted photobooth set up to really add quality to my photo taking capabilities.
I'll just say the man is an epoxy genius.

I have a feeling your art will do good here.

Crosspost from Re: [INFO] Breached or Scam coin makers list for discussion.

We can't look past this any further.

Austria Post Crypto Stamp 1 (CS1)
Austria Post Crypto Stamp 2 (CS2)
These both should be considered "Breached" straight from the manufacturer. After market sales depend solely on the integrity and honor of the seller. If you do not care about the Non-Fungible Token(NFT) or online portion of collecting these stamps then you are fine.

CS1 was found(allegedly) to have been gamed by insiders/post office workers due to the ability to scan the forward facing and uncovered QR code to determine rarity. Anyone that had an inkling about rarities and cryptocurrency hype could have easily pocketed Blues/Yellows/Reds and sent out the more common Blacks/Greens to consumers. Hard to have concrete physical proof of this happening but the upgraded security to the CS2 (inside packaging with a tamper proof sticker) proves that this was recognized as a security flaw.

The attempt to fix this issue with the release of CS2 has still proven insufficient and can be bypassed by anybody with just one hand and a light squeeze. The tamper proof sticker does nothing to stop this from happening. I was able to squeeze the packaging and carefully remove the card from its slotted position inside. I was then able to retrieve the seed phrase and once again squeeze the package open and slide the card back into the slot. Little to no damage done to the packaging or stamp itself.. nothing a few hours in between two heavy books wouldn't fix.

Now lets get to the major breach of not just CS2, but also CS1.

Both intact, I tried to show the serial to maintain authenticity through this story of pictures.

I took the previous two pictures inside but have moved into a pitch dark storage room for the next few. This is NOT needed for the effect shown on the CS2 stamp, moreso the CS1 stamp proves superior here but is still vulnerable to a flashlight and dark room. (This took me around five minutes, if I were a more nefarious actor I could have done a much cleaner job.)

CS1

CS2

As you can see in a dark room with a flashlight the seed words and QR codes are visible. With a better flashlight and some contrast adjustments(Photoshop) these could be a lot more crisp and legible. CS1 proves superior with the scratch n' sniff label over it but still doesn't hold up to a dark room and a flashlight.

I am unsure who created the actual physical portion of CS1 for Austria Post - will edit if/when I find this information.

The physical CS2 were made by a company named Variuscard and commissioned of course by Austria Post. Security testing appears to have been non existent.
Advice - If you ever want to avoid problems like this and work with the community, read THIS thread and you'll see how it should be done. (There is a lot of talent you would not expect in the Bitcointalk Collectibles community.)

As this post is about the physical portion of the cards being breachable by anyone that has ever come into possession of them I won't get into the OnChain Shop mess going on right now as that would be labelled as a fail rather than a breach. Special nod to Capacity Blockchain Solution GmbH and the Ethereum Network for that.

To sum up. Any and all CS1 and CS2 out there should be considered breached. If you bought straight from Austria Post then you're probably(maybe) alright. The sales that take place on eBay and in the Collectibles board here should be scrutinized and the character of the seller should be taken into account. If you only care about having the card in your possession and don't want to play with MetaMask/Ethereum/High Gas Fees then there is nothing to worry about. Both CS1 and CS2 are absolutely beautiful pieces to have in your physical collection.

Note: If you can do anything with the QR/Seed Phrase pieces I've used in this post, go ahead as they're now part of my compromised collection.

now the hope is to get a gold set, silver set and copper set all with matching numbers. something tells me to do that might break the bank lol

Serialization comes as follow :

#1 - #21 are Gold sets. (21 sets)
#22 - #64 are Silver sets. (43 sets)
#65 - #128 are Copper sets. (64 sets)

There are no matching serials amongst the three options.

You seem to be fence sitting on these four flags.
Not at all Timelord2067, I believe that in your Flag against the Phinnaeus Gage account that each supporter may have also been a donator and each feels they entered into some sort of agreement whilst donating, hence your use of a written contract would be correct for these supporters (even though he jokingly called it his final exit scam which it very well could have ended up being). I did not donate and I feel no need to support it as my funds are safu for a properly done donation thread in these sorts of cases. If I opposed it then I feel I would be taking away from these donator/supporters that feel they were wronged so I will not be doing that either to honor their voices on the matter.

Your other three flags for his known alts have insufficient support as other DT1 members have opposed them and that is the joy of having 100 DT1 members, not every single one needs to come to the table and put their name down on every single flag. Its more of a collective effort to shut down flags that are improperly set out and as they have and will remain with insufficient support I feel fine not also opposing them. If this changes in the future then I may very well add my name to support the opposition due to the improper type/reference.

Nutildah's flag was posted after yours and it links to a more appropriate thread with information on the flagged subject.. instead you wanted some sort of hero cookie and linked yours back to this shitbag/low quality thread with close to zero actual information in it. Fail on your part. You could have made your reference link the archived page of the [Plead] agreement but ya know.. maybe daddy @theymos can give you some tips.

Its alright to feel jaded that you made the wrong decision with the funds that were in your possession and I truly am sorry that nobody did their due diligence beforehand to make sure this money actually got to somebody that could provide us with complete proof that it was used for its intended purpose.

In my experience with death or jailed members of the bitcoin community there has always been a foundation or someone close to the family that ensures the funds get to where they need to be. NOTHING about how this [Plead] thread played out instilled any confidence in someone that could look a little further past blind compassion and/or pity.

RIP Bruno. Fuck whoever is in control of the account now. This is my last response here as I've said all I have to say.
170  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Flag] Bruno AKA Phinnaeus Gage, Gleb Gamow, YuTü.Co.in, Bitcoin 100 & ??? on: May 28, 2020, 05:43:26 AM
But didn't feel the need to voice an opinion to save the Known Alts donation funds from oblivion.  I appreciate you sharing your thoughts in this thread.

Because that helps hey?

What's funny is I explicitly told you that sending your Known Alts donations funds was NOT a good idea, but you did it anyway.
You scammed yourself. A fool and his money are easily parted. Several people told you not to send the money but you did it anyway. Even if it was Bruno that posted that address you didn't know whether anyone had access to it so it was stupid to do so.en it could have been someone trying to imitate him using photos he sent them to them for whatever reason.
Wut? Not objected to what? I voted absolutely not and told you several times why it was a stupid idea.

(and it's one flag - against Phinnaeus Gage as the other three that I created don't have the necessary support to become active, hence Flag singular)
My whole statement was about the Phinnaeus Gage account in general as it is the only one with activity post mortem. Two flags currently (hence Flag plurality). Your OP should be updated to include the more proper flag and include the link to the one started by nutildah. Probably also shouldn't be editing others' quotes without understanding the world doesn't revolve around just you.
171  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Flag] Bruno AKA Phinnaeus Gage, Gleb Gamow, YuTü.Co.in, Bitcoin 100 & ??? on: May 28, 2020, 05:14:14 AM
Stolen... by whom?  A scammer?  The scammer has no right to them, don't you think?
Besides nutildah claimed here and here that they had some sort of higher knowledge and assured everyone that a relative would receive the funds.
Ask nutildah.

The flags only serve to show that nobody should be dealing with these accounts as there is a bad actor on the other end of the Phinnaeus Gage account/mobile now.

That much is true.  I'm looking forward to you supporting the Flag.
There was no written contract. You donated to a man that could have died minutes after posting with no proof that anyone else in this world had access to the private keys. Due to your negligence in not confirming this you should have considered these coins burnt. I have however supported the other flag against the account as it is the proper flag type. Your reference is to a link that claims he is alive and kicking.. which I do not believe as I have no reason to doubt multiple obituaries and TECSHARE's claim to have phoned the funeral home (A post from a compromised bitcointalk account is not proof of life).

Thanks for feeling the need to strikethrough the s in my "flags" post. There is actually two flags so you're immediately wrong there and shouldn't be changing the text in my quote to something that is easily proven false.
FLAGS:
Yours - not correct format
Not yours - the correct format and I have supported it

From what I've seen you're actually quite an investigator and I'm very surprised you were caught with your pants down on this one. Unfortunate really. To be fair I voted No in your poll whether funds from the alt thread should be donated.

172  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Flag] Bruno AKA Phinnaeus Gage, Gleb Gamow, YuTü.Co.in, Bitcoin 100 & ??? on: May 28, 2020, 04:34:52 AM
Getting back to reality though, what efforts have you made to track the bitcoins that have been stolen?
You can't donate to a man on his death bed and call them stolen. Besides nutildah claimed here and here that they had some sort of higher knowledge and assured everyone that a relative would receive the funds.
Hopefully it was actually Bruno speaking with nutildah and not the hacker/compromised account pegging them as an easy mark for their upcoming bitcoin100 scam attempt.

TECSHARE has provided sufficient proof that everyone should believe Bruno has passed on. Bruno stated he had to dictate his posts through a voice to text generator.. do you really think he would be able to get onto an exchange, 2FA, password, email confirmation and everything else involved with trading BTC to USD and then log into his bank account and accept a deposit.. all with Google Voice to Text? There should have been a trustworthy intermediary that was dealing with this, not a severely disabled man nearing certain death. Any coin sent should have been considered burned, not once did Bruno say that family had access to his keys.
Luckily somebody did and lets hope that this somebody wasn't the same person involved with the post mortem scam attempt otherwise the funds probably weren't used for the reason they were donated.

The flags only serve to show that nobody should be dealing with these accounts as there is a bad actor on the other end of the Phinnaeus Gage account/mobile now.

There is still the black, green, blue, yellow, red rarities in each animal stamp. We'll have to see how they break it down.

I think it's quite funny that they mixed up llama with alpaca. Well, at least they got close to it.  Cheesy Roll Eyes

Kinda sad to see there is no treasure hunt for super rare stamps this time. Also 240k... not really rare in any way.

Congrats to all who were able to purchase some on-chain doge, though. Somehow my purchase failed after 20 minutes and now they sold out.

178  Other / Meta / Re: History of Collectibles lost/damaged due to Bitcointalk's image capabilities on: May 16, 2020, 04:42:57 AM
Thanks suchmoon, you're right if I quote the posts and enter the imgur links into my browser it does indeed pull up the pictures. Unable to do on the few that he locked but then it does seem strange that all of WoodCollector's photos show the invalid image. Every single one.

The above is just my own personal problem based on my emotional and financial interests, but I brought this all up for just more than my own problem..
Here's sort of what else I was talking about.. we have a sale for old Ravenbit coins going on right now here, but if you search for the original Ravenbit sales thread/creator heres what you get:
Ravenbit Creator's "Show all Topics" just take a scroll down.

There's a lot more like this in the history of the Collectibles board.. could you imagine if the same thing happened to casascius's posts?

179  Other / Meta / History of Collectibles lost/damaged due to Bitcointalk's image capabilities on: May 16, 2020, 04:10:43 AM
I'm not sure how important or valuable this is outside of Collectibles, but just recently I noticed that something I have collected and spent many many hours/funds on has been directly affected by outside forces and due to how the forum deals with images they may be lost forever.

My thread here is what I am talking about: [WoodCollector]Nine Public Coin Collection Completed and you're going to find what I am talking about by clicking into these parts of the OP
Coin #1
Coin #2
Coin #3
Coin #4
etc...

Up until something happened with the image host of WoodCollector's, someone that was interested in the story and the history of this could click into the WC quote and see photos and information about Coin 1, Coin 2, Coin 3, etc... Now they are greeted by this:

Obviously the imgur or whatever photo host he was using got nuked.

All fine and dandy thewaybackmachine has these archived... lets just check there..

In the Collectibles board we oftentimes have auctions or sales of coins that were released solely on bitcointalk.. linking back to the original sales threads almost always leads to a set of ugly white with red text blocks.. provenance is basically just now "take our words for it".
As bitcoin becomes more popular to the masses there are going to be people wanting coins/art/anything else interesting that may have been created here. I do feel as though the poor image management directly hits many of us Collector's in the pocket and will continue to in the future if something can't be changed here. I'm no website/server/image hosting genius but I would have paid/dumped all my merit or done any other thing of importance to have had those pictures preserved.

Save your WoodCollector is a scammer posts for somewhere else, this is about how we can protect the provenance of things created here and here only for future bitcoiners.
