Real Madrid failed in all negotiations to buy a real striker, let`s remember that Bellingam is not a real pure striker and therefore does what he can!
If he had a striker like Lautaro or Osimhen, then everything could change for Real Madrid, but they fail all tractative
Even though Real Madrid failed to carry out these negotiations, it does not mean that Real Madrid will continue to fail in other negotiations because for now Real Madrid still deserves to be considered a strong team even though there is no pure striker in their front line. Currently Real Madrid can still monitor several other players who might be suitable for them apart from continuing to utilize current players for this line because the other lines must also remain strong so that they do not become weak when receiving attacks from their opponents.
Even though Real Madrid failed to sign a striker, they are not performing lesser than the clubs that have a standing number 9. Jude Bellingham and the rest of the team has covered the performances that a striker is supposed to do. This does not mean that Real Madrid shouldn't sign a striker. But there's no available natural 9 in the market. Except Victor Osimhen who seems to have a link to Chelsea. Even if Real Madrid ends up signing Mbappe, he is still not a natural 9. So, in the end what matters is not Natural 9 but who can score the goal.

City were class today, it was an excellent display and they deserved to score all those goals and get the win, i said it before the game that City suffered in the hands of Aston Villa in the first leg, they were completely outplayed and lost, they came into this second leg with a mission and accomplished it. City outplayed and outclassed Unai Emery's men today and they were indeed worthy winners.
Manchester City coach must have been able to correct the minor errors that they made during the Arsenal game that made them not able to penetrate the Arsenal defense. They have made sure to win Aston Villa with a very good score line too. Liverpool has a very comfortable game tomorrow to play against Sheffield who they welcome to Anfield, they must have seen Arsenal and Manchester City win their games and will not play with that encounter because they know that all games are important at this point if they are going to win the title.
Between Manchester city, Liverpool and Arsenal, it is Manchester city that I hoped will have issues of winning match this midweek because they have a somewhat stronger team which is behind them in the table. But I was surprised how Manchester city successfully outplayed Emry guys. Also, Arsenal is able to win one of the bottom teams which is Luton, we are looking forward to seeing what Liverpool will do against Sheffield United.

Last season we saw Arsenal as the only team to compete with Manchester City in the final to win the English Premier League title. Other teams including Liverpool and Manchester United could not compete with Manchester City at all last season. Arsenal finished their league in second place last season but this season the team is still doing well and their performances have been quite consistent. Although last season's Liverpool are doing great this season, the English Premier League competition may be between Manchester City Liverpool and Arsenal with Liverpool and Manchester City more likely to be ahead. There is no doubt that Arsenal will win the Premier League title in any season if Manchester City is uncontinued.

Last season it was just Arsenal and City fighting for the title and Arsenal was at pole position before they started screwing up, dropping points and eventually lost the title to City. This season's title chase is more interesting, it's a three horse race and the point differences are not much. Arteta wants to lift the title for the first time and give the gunners the trophy that has eluded them for years. Pep hopes to put his name in the history books as the first manager to lift the EPL title for four consecutive times while Klop wants to give Liverpool fans a parting gift. Everyone is fighting for something and the league is very interesting this time around.
It is more interesting that three English Premier League clubs are contesting for the title of this season English Premier League. Last year it was just 2 clubs which we are Manchester City and Arsenal. At a time everyone thought that Arsenal will be the champions but they started declining in their performance which might Manchester City to overtake them. If that was Liverpool, it would have been difficult for Manchester City to overtake them at the 11th hour. This is the reason I am happy that Liverpool has entered the picture and we know that Liverpool do not easily give up like Arsenal. Now that the three coaches of the three top teams in the English Premier League are desperate to get the English Premier League title, it will become more interesting but I think Liverpool will not allow Manchester city to snatch the title again this time around.

what crazy person puts millions of dollars in a hot wallet and connects to a third party lol. It's very unfortunate that incidents like this keep happening, in fact they are not newbies and should really understand that hot wallets are very vulnerable to being hacked, this is plus they are connected to third parties. Turns out there are also millionaires who are stupid. condolences to him.
What made you think that the person that made the mistake isn't a newbie? Is it because of the amount involved. Even newbies could be so much rich. One thing about cryptocurrency is that if you are not careful enough, you could make some mistakes that are laughable. He might have thought of the stress of moving it to cold wallet or has been procrastinating. But where I blame him completely is connecting the wallet with such capital to random websites. Sometimes people who has enough don't value it while some look for little.

If I were to invest in bitcoin now and have the capital, I'll likely go in once than use the DCA method. The bull run is fast approaching, if I continue with DCA, the market migbt move miraculously and make me miss many opportunities of buying low.
Also, if your financial power is not stable and you are very much unsure of the market conditions and also you are emotionally fragile, it will be fine to use the DCA method as you pre-said.
166  Other / Meta / Re: Can moderators edit a users post? on: April 02, 2024, 09:59:35 PM
Of course - moderators have the ability to edit other users' posts. If you are more observant - there are many posts edited by previous moderators, one of which is a post made consecutively within 24 hours by the same user [if someone reported it].

I often report consecutively posts made by the same user within 24 hours - then get a moderator come to edit them and make the multiple posts into one quote.
When OP said edit, it appears that maybe the moderator edited the content of the post. It is nice to state it clearer that moderators can only merge posts but not change the contents of the posts.

Manchester city have drawn their two consecutive matches which does not tell too good about them. So they would use this opportunity to have all three points by winning Aston Villa, no matter the scenario that would play out on the match day.

Those two draws were to Liverpool (away game) and Arsenal (at home). As much as the latter draw was a bit disappointing, I wouldn't take those draws as a sign of failure or dip in form. We all know that those three teams are on similar level, so those results are not surprising.
All three will have some challenging games to play and it's almost certain that all three will lose some points before the end of the season, but yeah, City needs to defeat teams like Villa (especially at home) if they want to defend their title. Odds for the City to win are estimated at 77%, so they're a strong favourite here.
It is now very obvious that the title race is now between Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City. Any of these three clubs can be champions and it will not be surprising to us. In the league table, they are close to one another such that the difference in points can just change with only one match. In this midweek, Liverpool and Arsenal are somewhat lucky because they are playing the weaker teams at the bottom of the table. In the other hand, Manchester city is not that lucky because they are meeting their immediate rivals. This match is so important for Manchester City but we all know that Emry Can and his boys cannot be easily underrated.
Among the team's Arsenal, Manchester City, it is Liverpool that has the champions mark for the premiership title this season despite the struggles between these three. If you take a look at the remaining games of Liverpool their opponents are not that much of a big sides in comparison to Manchester city and Arsenal's opponents. Only that this is football we can give many theoretical analysis about the advantages that differentiate a big team and gives the why they have to win against a small team but when the ball bounce the practical results has many times been the opposite, a situation where we see small teams beating big clubs.
Even right from the beginning of this season, I have always predicted Liverpool to win the English Premier League over Arsenal. This is when we have already set Manchester City aside. Arsenal has been good since two seasons now but their problem is the level of inconsistency that appears towards the end of the season. It looks like they give all their strength during the beginning and the middle of the season but towards the ending when the effort is even needed more, they will slack and give away their glory to Manchester City. This has happened more than once and it has made many people lose confidence in Arsenal. Talking about Liverpool in the other hand, they always give their best when they are needed to do so. Liverpool is not easily been defeated by a random average team and that is why I am confident that they will become the champions of this season in English Premier League. Apart from that, the boys are supposed to get this trophy in order to give their coach Jurgen Klopp a very good farewell.

2. The word "farm" is used for people who rank up many accounts for earning money. I don't think there's a hard limit: 2 accounts isn't a farm, 20 is. Somewhere in between is a gray area. It was a much bigger problem before the introduction of the Merit system, when shitposting in Off-topic was enough to reach Legendary status.
3. Yes. From the forum rules' perspective, I've never seen anyone banned just for owning many accounts. But if one of them gets banned, the rest is guilty of ban evasion. Scams aren't moderated, so Merit sharing and cheating won't get you banned. You could say it's "allowed" from the forum's perspective. But that's where the "alt farm hunters" come in with the red tags.
Thanks LoyceV for this. When I said experienced users to answer me, I wasn't wrong.

I agree that not a single experienced cheater will come and admit how many accounts he has. As long as the forum allows it, you can create hundreds of alternative accounts.
Another bold answer and I believe that the wise will learn from this. While the foolish will not. I believe that the forum has no much threads explaining these rules but many people are available to punish offenders.

Early kick off has always end up in a draw but this on going game, talking about Newcastle vs West Ham is some how crazy. Not matter the odds being for Newcastle I still believe the away team has a better chances of winning, seeing the home side who was strong as of last season has become very careless ever since they was kicked out of the champions league and conceding 2 goals in the first half. I believe they're not in any way coming back in this game.
In as much as the home side have a goal I blame it on the visitors West Ham, as the second half is on going I believe the visitors have learnt from their mistakes, I also think David Moyes is not losing this game or having a draw, if this game ends like this I feel is going to be a motivation for West Ham in the Europa league.
You predictions worked nicely. Assuming you are on a live bet, you would have taken home some bucks. I think the prime West Ham is better than the prime Newcastle this season. The three stars did their parts by scoring and assisting one another. Anthinia, M Kudus and Bowen.
Actually many things change to my greatest surprise and this is the true definition of "it is not over until it is over. The injury of Almiro that brought in Barnes and the rest is a wonder luck. Kudus to Newcastle for proving me wrong.

An early goal for Luton town in less than 5 minutes in the first half. A poor defending from the Tottenham Hotspur defenders led to that early conceded goal. However,  it's impressive that Tottenham has recovered possession on the game as Luton town is faced with much pressure with Tottenham playing them half field with Luton  trying all means defend their 1 goal. If Tottenham could make good result with their chances this first half could either end in a 1-1 draw but then Timo Werner needs to stop losing those important chances in the goal mouth.
I have thought that the early goal of Luton will surely provoke Tottenham to finish them, but nothing happened the first half. Let's see how the second half will be. I am not sure that Luton will have a point from this match.

Arsenal may be in their best form but that is mostly in their premiership league which is totally different from the champions league. When it comes to the champions league, a lot of things come into play and experience is at the front of the factors. Bayern Munic is obviously more experienced than Arsenal when it comes to the champions league. Arsenal have to try very hard to be able to overcome Munic that is favorite to qualify. Now that they are not likely to win their league, they will channel all their energy to the champions league unlike Arsenal that is also fighting very hard to win the English Premiership title.
When Arsenal managed to qualify it meant they could not be underestimated, for whatever reason Bayern Munich also had to be careful, after all both teams could fight each other 50:50 both of them were equally strong. I will not take it lightly, that the conditions of each team are different and in the hands of different coaches too. For this reason the meeting between the two is not just about experience in the UCL anymore but a battle over which coach tactics are effective. I think Arsenal can still beat Bayern Munich and that has huge potential. Bayern Munich itself now relies on Kane or Sane, while Arsenal strength is more evenly distributed, the same as Manchester City. Each line of Arsenal players is quite solid.

It is fine that we begin to see Arsenal in a different level since last season. Even in the European competitions Arsenal is not that mediocrity anymore. We cannot say that their good form will only end in the premier League. There's no doubt that Bayern Munich has a better record in the Champions League than Arsenal. Even when you check the head to head, Arsenal is no where close to Bayern Munich. However, history ends one day and it could be this time.

Overall, Brentford's performance is far below Manchester United's, so they have a fairly small chance of getting points in this match.
In their last 5 matches, Brentford never won, they lost 4 times and drew 1, indeed Brentford's performance in the second half of this season was really so bad that Manchester United, who were competing to get into the top 4, made it possible to achieve the final victory. this week at home to Brentford.
Manchester United as usual can be consistent but can also be more messy, the stability of this club is difficult to measure, Ten Hag often changes formation so it depends on what tactics will be applied in the match against Brentford. On paper Manchester United is superior but it is not a 100% guarantee that they can get 3 points. Brentford also needs to win because several matches they have played have been wasted. Therefore Brentford opportunity to play at home is the only way to beat Manchester United. Both teams can score goals, but in my opinion the final result is quite small, even a draw is reasonable.
Manchester United ought to win this meeting but their inconsistence has made me not to have good belief in them. They rose and fought well against Liverpool, I wish they will not return to status quo.

If you check well, you will notice that NotATether is running a challenge of 14 days node running for 14 merits and that is why you see the 14 merits he gave recently. NotATether is not a random user who doesn't know how to issue merits. If he drops larger number of merits in a particular posts, check well, the post is worth it.
He can reduce it from 14 to 10 or lesser.
If I am in contest that the reward is 14 merits and when it got to my turn, the reward is reduced. I will not feel great.

I count 57 of those transactions since half way January. I followed that topic for a while, and got the impression most users only join to earn Merit. It would have been much better if they actually care about running Bitcoin Core, but I highly doubt it. I didn't read all recent posts, but I haven't seen a single user who actually used Bitcoin Core as a wallet instead of only completing the block download.
One of the reasons I followed that topic, was because I hoped I could dump some Merit there. But it didn't feel right. I'd say lower the Merit amounts there, most of the posts aren't worth reading.
In every given contest, participants must find a loophole to extort or cheat. When I read that thread, I knew it's something kinda savvy, I concluded that it will be difficult to manipulate. Maybe I was wrong.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 28, 2024, 05:33:35 PM
Xabi Alonso has proven himself with Bayern Leverkusen this season in the Bundesliga. With the help of Xavi Alonso, Bayern Leverkusen is one of the most consistent clubs in the top five leagues. Bayern Leverkusen is still unbeaten in the Bundesliga, and they are leading Bayern Munich by 10 points in the Bundesliga table. I don't see this as luck, but as someone who knows what he is doing.
Xabi Alonso's extraordinary coaching this season at the Bayer Leverkusen team has indeed proven to be extraordinary because the team he coaches has still not lost in the Bundesliga and is also still holding up quite well in the Europa League this season. And with such a big point gap with Bayern Munich, I am increasingly confident that Bayer Leverkusen will easily win and will continue to compete well in the Europa League this season until the final.
I think it is time we praise Bayern Leverkusen players as often as we praise the coach. The coach could bring all the  initiatives needed to win the match, but if the players doesn't implement them accordingly, they will not be successful. It is on this ground that I am confident that Xavi Alonso can easily repeat this success in any other club apart from Bayern Leverkusen. It will surely be an interesting move if Xavi Alonso leaves Leverkusen this season. He will have many things to prove, but for the mean time, let's continue giving him his flowers.
175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 28, 2024, 05:16:42 PM
Manchester City does not always depend on one player, although sometimes one of the players can make more contributions. Currently Pep Guardiola is not too concerned about the condition of his players because he has quite a lot of options to play. I still predict Manchester City will be able to crush Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium. I also really respect Arsenal, they have developed rapidly so far, but the mentality of the Gunners players sometimes quickly collapses when under pressure. However, what is clear is that Arsenal also has a chance, even though it is very slim, but at least they have to force their opponents to share the points, which is extraordinary, especially being able to take home three points.
So far, I have never seen Manchester City rely on just one player while under Pep Guardiola's coaching, all Manchester City players play an important role in being able to provide the best contribution to their club even though they have Haaland and de Bruyne, but other players are also important players for Pep Guardiola.
Ahead of Arsenal's away match against Manchester City, without a doubt I will choose Manchester City to win the match.
The match between Manchester City and Arsenal on Sunday will be an interesting one to grace the Easter. The winners of that very meeting will not be the team that played better football, rather it will be the team with higher fighting spirit. This is where I begin to doubt that Arsenal can do it because they lack the fighting spirit especially when it matters.

Arsenal at this moment has a stable team that is able to beat Manchester city. Although they have beaten Manchester City twice this season, making it three times could be a difficult task but if they are determined to they can make it because the match is very much open for either of the thing to take a lead. I am not expecting an sharing of points, there must be a win.

  • It is allowed to own alts.
Yes, it is. Many reputable forum members have alternative accounts for different purposes. So as long as you are not using them for bad practices, you should be good. It's even better if you declare that you have an alt account so that everyone can see how you use the other account.
I don't know why people keep answering the one when it wasn't a question. It was just a statement while the other two are questions. Yet they are scared of giving explicit answers for number 2 and 3.

making them have different identities and hiding from the community that it is you behind those alt.
This is not a crime. In some cases, making the community know you are the person behind the account defeats the purpose of having the alt account.
177  Other / Meta / Re: Alts vs farm. on: March 28, 2024, 08:42:11 AM
According to my understanding, having alt accounts for your personal use is allowed.
What is meant by having alt accounts for personal use. Do people have alt accounts for general or public use? Please clarify...

But it is very, very rare that more than four alternative accounts will be created without participating in the same bounty or signature companies and without sending merits to each other. Even if such a thing exists, such a number of posts is simply incredible work, and it is doubtful that a person will create good posts.
Yea, I have read somewhere that a reputable member of this forum said that, if the energy people use to create alts is channelled to one account, the account could be exceptional, can join any signature campaign with high pay.
178  Other / Meta / Re: Alts vs farm. on: March 27, 2024, 10:19:43 PM
Do you really not know about something like that? You are a hero. Having an alt is something that is allowed and loycev also has an alt. If you want to discuss my past mistakes, you can post them on the reputation board. I've also explained a lot of things there.

If you're posting this for merit or to chase your weekly posting target, then keep going, it's a good effort and good luck
Dude, if you read Op well, you will discover that this post is not about you. I'm sorry about your fate, I don't have the power to save you, I would have.

Cheating contests, sig camps and merit sharing are obviously no good practices but there is one more thing:

People with many alts can create fake discussions, fake debates, support each other’s opinions and affect other people’s opinions that way. This is way worse than abusing sig camps imo.
Wow!
I haven't thought of it from this angle. So, one with alts can create a poll and use their alts to influence the poll result. It is a bad thing and as you mentioned can in some cases be worse than cheating signature campaigns.

Mail beat Nigeria 2goals to nil yesterday. I was able to watch the game online though it started late in the night. The tiki taka style of football is not for the Super Eagles. We played well but didn’t take our chances, it was very much disappointing. We have tough games coming up in the World Cup qualifiers, I hope the NFF can hire a coach as soon as possible.
I will first have to ask if the Nigerian match against Mali last night was a friendly match or a qualifier. I didn't view the match but I read the commentary and went through the statistics. Something was so strange. Although Nigeria lost but the Nigerian players have individual good rating more than the Mali players. This gave me the impression that Nigeria dominated the match.

I hope the NFF can hire a coach as soon as possible.
But if I am NFF (employer), the coach that took the team to the finals of the AFCON did well and should be retained. I don't know for others shaa.

I think Arsenal has a better chance of beating Manchester City in their Premier League match on Sunday at Etihad Stadium. Three Manchester City players were injured while on international duty for England, and there are doubts about being ready for the Arsenal match. This will be an advantage for Arsenal. Arsenal will dominate most of that match because John Stones and Kyle Walker are among the injured Manchester City players.
Arsenal have to work harder, i don't think they have any better chances because i just saw this now from there Telegram channel that Kevin De Bruyne is going to be fit for Man City vs Arsenal this Sunday, Kevin De Bruyne is one of the key players that will make it difficult for Arsenal to defeat them, and i want you to remember that arsenal playing away match against the current champions which are still strong, despite arsenal had won them twice this season i don't consider it to be the same because this match is very important for both the teams to determine who will lead the league on table.
Record has it that Arsenal has won Manchester City twice this season, it is therefore very difficult for Manchester City to allow Arsenal to give them three consecutive defeats in a particular season. Even if all Manchester City players get injured, it will not really affect their teams if some keep layers are available. These key players are; KDB, Rodri and sometimes Haaland. So, since these three players are available, Manchester City has no reason whatsoever to lose points with the excuse of injured layers.

In the other hand, I have trusted Arsenal to play good football and which they have been doing right from last season. But I do not trust them to be able to beat Manchester city to win the English Premier League. They have phobia for trophies, that is why they could easily give up in the 11th hour.
