161  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When you make mistakes, do not fail to take corrections. on: April 10, 2024, 11:58:06 PM
This is the same thing that most older members on the forum will write because most of us have been there. Most of us made very silly, embarrassing, mistakes during our earlier days on the forum. And some were lucky enough to get a second chance and they turned out to be some of the most top members here.

And as for you, you still have a lot to learn but you have learned one of the most valuable lessons on the forum. As a newbie on this forum , over time you would learn to develop a thick skin because criticism and corrections would come. Some would be harsh and some others would be considerate. However whatever be the case do not take it personal just learn the lesson and move on.
Corrections and criticisms can be sometimes hurting for us, so let’s just don’t take them seriously so we won’t feel being depressed and frustrating. The important thing is we are accepting the challenge to learn and take the process. Not all of us here are brave enough to accept corrections as some have high egos that they are more intelligent than others. But those who have learned well and on top of their positions these days are those who have experienced a lot of corrections and criticisms.
162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why technical analysis is not reliable on: April 10, 2024, 10:56:03 PM
Why do we think the technical analysis would be reliable when their are other analysis we can use to trade in the market.
Many people feel like if they don't use the technical analysis, they will not make money from the crypto market.
We could even make more money without using the technical analysis so we just have to understand the analysis we are using in the market because this would help one to make more profits in the market.
Using technical analysis has proven its usefulness in trading, but using it solely will not guarantee positive trading results. The best solution is to incorporate it with other trading methods and strategies so that there will be bigger chances of winning such trades. However, not using technical analysis in trading and just stick to other methods might also create an unsuccessful trade, that’s best from my own personal experience.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Now Official Currency in Lugano: Another Milestone for Cryptocurrency on: April 10, 2024, 09:56:42 PM
There has been so many good news related to Bitcoin offlate and I am really happy that atleast now people have started adopting Bitcoin and using it. This is a sign that gradually Bitcoin will be accepted in other nations as well, there was a fear initially I mean couple of year's ago that it's a ponzi scheme or some sort of scams but now people are confident enough and approval of spot ETF has pooled more users to Bitcoin ecosystem.
Good governance for every country brings a big impact to bitcoin adoption. If the government officials are more open minded, most likely they become more willing to explore new technology or innovation as long as it would create an overall advantage for its citizens and for the whole country. Not all countries are supportive about bitcoin, majority are still hesitant to accept it. But thanks to Lugano leaders as they are starting to embrace their future with bitcoin. Most likely, we will see stories like this in the following years ahead.
164  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 190K in 2024? on: April 10, 2024, 09:35:02 PM
Everyone have been giving their own suggestions on what the market price for bitcoin may turns to be after this month halving, but it is more very important that we consider this on a long term than this sooner on $190,000, from what i have researched, i will give the rate of $200,000 or below before the end of this year, we should not be surprised that after the halving we may experience little bear before the market rises as expected.
I am also anticipating a bearish market right after halving, so expect that bitcoin price will consistently drop again. And I can’t set a date when will bitcoin eventually recover. Because of that, I am not actually highly hopeful that we will see bitcoin price at $190k or above at the end of the year. For me, it might only reach the level of $150k or a little upward than that. But everything can change if bitcoin shows another significant price jump any moment after halving.
165  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think merit is by chance or lengthy article? on: April 10, 2024, 12:00:18 AM
Merit is not by chance or how lengthy your article is, to my best of knowledge, the more the article content of what you're posting is the more its getting complicated for others to read and understand the major idea in your post, so merit is giving by the level of the quality of your post, which is felt by the reader and he make the judgement that your post is deserving to receive merit provided that he has some smerits to give out, be it a merit source or other members of the forum.
in this question I think everyone has it on way of explaining what gives merit based on your your  experience on article composition, but from my own perspective merit is being given based on the quality of your composition and how meaningful and educative is your article, that is what make some people to like your writing in order to give you a merit, because giving someone a merit is a personal choice and it is based on what you understand through the composition of that person will make you to Merit the person so giving out merit does not determine by how lengthy is your article, its base ob how comprehensive is your work.
There are still lengthy posts that get merited simply because they are well explained and have contained a lot of helpful insights. Sometimes, that’s also a case to case basis depending on what topic to be discussed. However, I still prefer to go a for short but well precise explanation. As long as the main pint of view is present and can be benefited by a lot of readers, for me that deserves a merit.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you advise a friend in the same way? on: April 08, 2024, 11:59:56 PM
I can say your financial advice is quite good so far - but have you considered your friend as someone who has the ability to make wise decisions regarding finances and investments?

Let's say your friend has $1M in his father's company savings in the bank - that's the only source of finance for the company he runs. If your friend is interested in investing only because Saylor made huge profits from bitcoin - then is he ready to face the consequences if his expectations do not match reality?

Bitcoin is certainly worth considering as an investment asset that has performed well so far - but its price volatility is likely to unbalance the company on its balance sheet. 20% of the company's total budget is probably still okay to invest - but if the percentage is higher, then the risk will also be worth it. But of course - with the right strategy.
I have no doubts with bitcoin potentials but it's a different story already when you are advising your friend to put the company's money into bitcoin. That's a very risky decision to make. It would be good instead if he will use his own hard-earned funds to invest partially in bitcoin, but considering the whole funds that have been saved in a bank, I believe you have already crossed the line if you make him force to invest in bitcoin. Although I have high hopes that bitcoin is quite a safe haven but seeing how volatile and unpredictable its future price will be, then I don't think giving him finances advice is a good thing.
167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How far can BTC go before halving? on: April 08, 2024, 11:03:44 PM
BTC touched 72k awhile ago which means it's still bullish and may continue through the halving. If this happens; it will be a change in price trend compared to it's historical data.
BTC is usually a bit bearish after halving which I usually see as my last buying chance but it's obvious institutional interest may change it's price action this time around.

I could be wrong but do we think we are gonna experience the same repeated price trend?

I cannot make an assurance if the price trend will still repeat its history or probably take a new route. That is beyond our control since bitcoin itself is highly unpredictable. However, one thing is certain, price fluctuations will continue to exist in the market most particularly that we are heading into something relevant for bitcoin and for its community. And most probably, since bitcoin halving is very near, then I think $72k would be the last rise for bitcoin before halving happens.

Update:
asked my friend to KYC it's clear the account is not mine. He said KYC is taking an insane amount of time and asking for docs on docs but he's sending everything.

Lets see if they change their minds after he completes it successfully  Shocked

If you can provide a reasonable explanation on why you tip each other, you might have a chance. Your KYC process is not the standard procedure since it’s a requirements for an investigation for a possible violation of ToS.

It’s a good sign the Shuffle entertain your request to reconsider your issue by providing KYC. Please keep us updated on the progress. I’m curious on how they will handle your issue because this multiple case never resulted on players favor. Wish you a good luck.

Since the amount involved is " $850" as per scam accusation made by him, I think that's worth submitting a KYC documents. Besides, if you trust the casino to take care of your documents, there should be no problem here, otherwise if you say no you'll lose that  $850 that's already a lot of money.

Sometimes this things do trigger, but regardless, the casino can still ask a gambler to submit some documents for KYC purposes as that is part of the guideline they have being a regulated casino, so it's up to you (@odapoda ) and your friend if you'll comply or not.

However, since it's your friend is taking care of it now, the community would love to know the result of your effort.

The amount is huge that's why they are force to provide their Kyc so that they can possibly get that.
~snip~

He needs to clear the situation and prove to Shuffle.com that they didn't violate any TOS of the casino. Maybe both will be require to submit documents for KYC purposes since the problem was two accounts was link to each other due to tipped being seen in the system.

I would do the same if I'm in their case, good thing the other account which his friend online have cooperated, so I'm hoping that this will be settled the soonest as soon as the documents were submitted. I think this is the first time I see an accusation about Shuffle, but so far, I believe they still maintain a good reputation.

170  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Dive Into Bitwinup: The Ultimate Crypto Trading Arena is Here! 🎲 on: April 07, 2024, 12:27:16 PM
In my opinion, the game is interesting, but it would become even more interesting if users had more opportunities to predict the outcome of price movements. This can only be done by increasing the game timeframe. Indeed, 15 and 30 seconds are too short and the luck factor plays almost 100% here. If the timeframes were at least 1 hour, 6 hours, 1 day or even 1 week long, then the result would be more predictable and analysts, and not just entertainment lovers, would start playing this game. The color scheme of the site is also fun, but sometimes it can be annoying to the eyes.
If you set the timeframe to over an hour, that's a lot of waiting and I guess it's not anymore viable to a casino because as much as possible they want to maximize their profit, so fast result would give that and they'll say no to longer results, unless the minimum bet is increase but I still doubt it will be more profitable for them compared to the current set up.

The platform is not like other Binary trading where you have to wait hours this is more like a Crash game concept type of platform where you have to think fast and base it on hunch or luck or your skill in analysis, this is created for gamblers for excitement and engagement and not for full-time traders where you have to look on outside sources and market sentiment to come out with a definite prediction.
The game is fast, and there is total control of your emotions something that you can also find in a Crash game

That's what I thought, it's not gambling anymore if you'll have to wait for that long hours as it's only possible in sports betting where games ended in more than an hour. This is game where the outcome is quick, we have to play with the rules, we can suggest for the improvement of the casino but I feel the suggestion @Julien_Olynpic doesn't make sense in relation to the current operational structure.

It is too risky to set more than one hour. Moreover, this will provide a high level of curiosity, especially since we all don't know where the price of Bitcoin will go. We can only guess without knowing what will happen.

Maybe those who want to play this game can try for a short time, like 5 minutes or 10 minutes, and see the results. This will be an interesting hit-and-run game, as the outcome will remain a mystery. We can only win because we analyse the Bitcoin price.

Don't increase the bet if you are not prepared for loss, which could happen at any time. It's best to use the money you can afford.

Like @coin-investor mentioned, it could be like a binary option trading, and since we are gambling here, we don't want that, at least majority of us as we want quick and instant result of the action we are playing.

This coin has been here since 2021 as we can see in https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pokerfi/

I'm just curious, why is this altcoin is not yet listed in a decent exchange? And here they now make an ANN thread, why it had not happen in the past.
Can OP tell more about this project as this looks like a dead project that was recently reborn to me, please correct me if I'm wrong.

OP has to confirm if he is part of the team or just hired to market the platform, for a project to have existed for 3 years and have not move up or added in a decent exchange, it can only mean that they are not properly marketed it so its possible that they've hired OP to shill the project, because OP has the word marketing in his username.

So far the project only has on exchange and its a decentralized exchange if you compared it to other projects' performance that started three years I can say that this project will soon become a shitcoin with a current The current CoinMarketCap ranking is #4939.

I doubt OP is part of the team, I checked his post, he made 3 including this one but the other two were different projects or altcoins. But let't wait if he can reply here, there's a lot of questions that needs to be answered, so if he is really actively marketing this ( as seen in his name) then we should expect an answer anytime soon as that's the only chance this project might grow a bit.

174  Economy / Gambling / Re: BK8 - Biggest and Most Trusted Brand. Asia's #1 Crypto online casino BTC & USDT on: April 06, 2024, 10:49:31 PM
I agree about spreading them. So each country has various laws about having money in the bank but they're more strict about deposits than of withdrawals.

They're closely monitoring money coming into them as it might be triggered for AMLA.

As long as you stay below the minimum to trigger the authorities, you should be fine. If you are constantly gambling and say you are winning, then you might consider using different banks so you'll be able to spread your deposits and they'll not gonna notice your big wins. I understand about the bank secrecy law, I think most banks have that in place to them to protect the asset of their clients, but as we all know, banks are regulated by the government, so they can ask information that will be useful for their investigation.
Or even don't go with the minimum. Just do normal transactions and each other has different triggers per banking policy. Yes, say that you've won big in BK8 and you've deposited it directly to your bank account. It is firstly the bank that will ask you about that but if they just let it pass then fine.
You can't say that the bank will decide if they will let it pass or not. It's always based on the regulation that is guiding the banking industry, if let's say in the Philippines they have the BSP or Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas, this is the agency that is guiding the bank which could work with the BIR which is under the Department of Finance.

If they have information as to where the source of funds is coming and there is a violation on your end for not remitting the appropriate tax, so that might trigger, but you know in the Philippines it's not so strict, what they do is they priorities those bigger funds that are coming so they could get bigger taxes, unless you are being suspected of money laundering which is completely a different thing and a more serious one since it will soon be a criminal act once proven.

But when the government asks you about your transaction history, they just can't easily get it from that bank. Yes, they're regulated by the government but they just can't give that information too quickly.
Of course not easy because it will break the law that they created, it needs a court order, but since it's the government that are requesting, court order will easily be approved.

Meanwhile, your bank passed minimum amount to be reported to government. Your data will be forwarded automatically to them, and then they will check you for the tax and other. In my country, at least the minimum around 37,000-40,000$ in my local currency more than Rp. 500,000,000 will forwarded to them.

So, try to spread those ~xd.

I’m always joining on this raffles including the paid one that requires purchasing ticket since I was inspired before that user won the jackpot prize despite he only purchase few tickets while there’s a lot of users purchased more tickets than him.

Also the partial refund on all the tickets purchased is the best feature of Metwin raffle. I’m not expecting to win on this raffle because many users usually join with more ticket but trying it in daily basis using few bucks is not bad.

If you were inspired by someone who win despite purchasing few tickets only, then please be positive that you will win. Luck is not measured by the number of tickets you'll purchase, if it's your time, you'll be lucky and win. I know a friend who are not consistent with gambling but he got lucky and win big, if this could happen in lottery, for sure it could also happen here, just be positive.

Glad to see Metawin has a lot of promotions, and if we check on their twitter account, we will see how consistent they are.

I try to look at the other popular casinos twitter accounts and I'm happy with what I saw as Metawin also have a big number of followers like them.

open 24/7 support but cannot respond to casino.guru from day one.

Fastest and most secure , a promise that mostly to be broken because like those issues you are facing in casino.guru same issues about withdrawals.
We can't know if they've responded casino.guru or not because it's their case and public can't see it except they post the evidence.

But the most important thing why they can't answer the Curacao Antillephone logo that they embed in their sites? it's a thing that the public can check.

I believe they're currently working to get the validator link or they will give a clarification and then remove it.

I don't think you'll get that answer soon as their answers are not very concise, I mean it's just a short answer but as a community we deserve a longer and more accurate answers. That was an accusation, it will affect their reputation, so if they are really serious with building a name, they should take it seriously.

This thread so far has 42 replies but already with 333 views, so some are just watching, and if they'll see that OP has answered all the questions honestly, and was able to keep a good reputation, then they can start with more promotion here.
178  Economy / Gambling / Re: My experience on live bet on: April 05, 2024, 09:44:13 AM
since the games that already won have the odds of x1.8 and x1.9 i feel the cashout should be bigger, something like x2.5, but since is the cashout option it makes sense that it becomes a lower value. I mean at least you have the option to cancel the bet and walk away with a profit.

You don't only consider the bets that have already won as part of the parlay. Try to consider also the active bets, bets that are not yet graded and if the system sees it that its chance is lower, than they will put a cash out that is not based on our expectation. There's nothing wrong with the cash out amount, if OP complain, he can just wait until the game is over and see if he wins, but that cash out amount IMO is just reasonable.

Quote
Maybe other casinos offer bigger amounts for early cashouts you should try.
That can be confirm if OP have the same bet on the other sportsbook.
179  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC go back to $40K - $30K range before a bigger rally? on: April 04, 2024, 11:56:14 PM
$40k-$30k range?

Sounds like wishful thinking.

What's the matter? Too much fiat currency and not enough Bitcoin? Hope to stock up cheap?

I think we're more likely to see $300k-$400k than $30k-$40k.
Since we know how unpredictable the cryptocurrency market is, anything is possible. Bitcoin can drop to $40k and it can go up to $400k in a single cycle, that is how unpredictable it is and how volatile it can be. If we look at the history of Bitcoin, we know that there have been instances where Bitcoin managed to lose a very high percentage of its value right before the bull run and then it managed to regain that value later on.

So, we can't really say it's wishful thinking or it's not possible because it truly is possible, however, based on how the market is reacting currently, there seems to be no possibility of that happening for now because Bitcoin couldn't even go below $60k for now.
With how the market is behaving right now, I can sense that there is small chance to experience that again.  Everything is possible with bitcoin, because of its highly volatility so we should not be surprised if ever that scenario comes again. However, if bitcoin price will go up consistently even after halving, then I might say that we won’t see bitcoin price dropping again into $40k or $30k.
180  Economy / Economics / Re: Debt Management. on: April 04, 2024, 11:27:33 PM

Clear debts on time : no one is above being in debt, however one shouldn't settle with being known for a debtor, it brings embarrassment and could cause emotional trauma, therefore one needs to keep tracks of their dept and work on paying them off, beginning high interest debts down to minor ones, needs to be strategic with clearing their debts.

Paying debts on time is the most important thing in debt management. Someone can list how much debt they have in 1 month and what date it is due, then they can pay it according to the due date. Because delays in paying debts will be detrimental to the debtor themselves, because they need to pay late fines every day and this will continue until they can pay the debt. It will also have an impact on the bank's credit score.
Being a responsible debtor will somehow make a good impression on part of the creditor. If you think you can’t pay on time, then it would be better not to take a debt as much as you can. However, everyone has probably debt most especially because people find it hard to adjust and afford those high priced foods and necessities. As a result, people resort into taking loans, but should be responsible enough to clear off their debts on or before due date comes.
