81  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: April 21, 2024, 11:01:25 AM
This is good idea since a lot of people here could able to participate on the contest they possibly launch here. But maybe they are already good with current marketing method they use in this forum which is to launch there signature campaign that's why maybe they target the other people so that they can make sure that there exposure will be so great and they can get a lots of traffic with this.
A signature campaign is their start of advertisement on the forum and it has been run a long time enough. From their signature campaign's existing time in the forum, I smell that they saw profit, traffics from the campaign. As if they did not see any good effect from it, they will not prolong the campaign week by week and many weeks so far.

For other advertisement types, maybe they will launch it in future or might not launch anything if they see their advertisement on other platforms are enough.

The best advertisement in the forum is through siggy camp. They can run a promotion as well but as we have seen in some of the promotions from other casinos especially not a paid one, only few really would join. This is just my personal observation, but I maybe wrong. However, running one should be fine, with some decent budget, they can make it a long term one, at least that brings more exposure for them.

One of the best indeed but if they rely only on this campaign maybe they can get slow result. I'm also impress to the fact that they are active doing some good promotional stuffs on other social media platforms like in X where they are so active posting some new promotions which a lot of people talk about or share to their friends which give competitive rewards. That's why for sure that in that way Metawin could able to maximize their promotion and get more best result. Doing this activities for long term will make them became so successful just like what other old reputable casino did which they sustain to run multiple promotions and it result into positive to them and they gain a lot from this.

They are also active outside the forum especially the twitter, so they should be able to market the potential gamblers who are in the platform. Marketing in bitcointalk is just better than any other platform as we have a big community here, and if a casino were able to maintain their good reputation here, they could easily gain new users and might increase overtime.

I also notice an ad of metawin in this website - https://etherscan.io/... I checked some transactions and see their brand last night, so probably they are everywhere, in any platform that they could get some exposure.
82  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥 HugeWin.com Presents Mega Jackpot and Bonus Deals for Casino Lovers 🔥🔥 on: April 21, 2024, 06:08:51 AM
Hmmm that's something to take note of, speedy withdraw is also one of the features to look out when wanting to use a casino and it's seem hugewin.com covers that criteria and this will certainly increase the population of customer gambling there although since their promotion is still on the primary level seeing more active competition and bonus offers will also go along way towards their stay and also gathering crowd of gambling in the community.
Seamless experience is what people expect with blockchains and a platform that can provide seamless experience to user, will be very attractive and favorite platform to use.

This shared experience with quick approval and processing for withdrawal from icopress means that Withdrawal approval on HugeWin is automatic, not manual. I know there will be cases with which platforms will do manual review and processing but such cases are not regularly seen.

Generally with quick withdrawal progress like this, HugeWin provides a good service for their users.

They could be doing manual reviews on withdrawals that are a lot higher than what icopress did. I've never seen a casino that auto approves withdrawals that are worth more than $50k, unless that person is a known figure in the scene such as Drake. Anyways, it's relieving to see that a plarform no longer performs manual withdraws for small amounts. It's a check on my book, and something that other platforms are obviously missing.

Actually there should be no problem with auto process of an amount like $50k because casino would always based in your pattern of deposits and withdrawals, so if you are within the range, there should be nothing suspicious about the transaction.

For instance, you are a gambler who deposits $50k to $100k and you made a withdraw of $50k, that should not trigger the system. However, if your range is at $100 to $200 only and you request a withdrawal of $50k, then surely that would alarm the system.
83  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No gambling today due to bitcoin high transaction fee. on: April 21, 2024, 05:23:09 AM
I don't have any altcoins at the moment, otherwise I would use an altcoin with low fees to make a deposit. The fees have gone down but they are impractical for people who play with low amounts. I, like the OP, never deposit more than $100 and right now I would have to pay $30 in fees to be able to deposit which is a big NO.

Eventually if I get the gambling bug I'll take my card and deposit at a fiat casino.

Still no go today, but the good news is that the fee area slowly going down. I missed the $200 - $300 which I saw posted by yahoo62278, and based on that, there's a major decline already as the fee is now $30, but like you said it's still impractical to gamble at this moment. I have few balance in my debit card, I can use it in our fiat sportsbook but I woudn't still be satisfied as I want to have a longer session, so I'll just probably wait, few more days and everything will be back to normal.
84  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥 HugeWin.com Presents Mega Jackpot and Bonus Deals for Casino Lovers 🔥🔥 on: April 20, 2024, 03:46:00 PM
I'm liking HugeWin more and more  Roll Eyes

Just requested a withdrawal of $2600 (anonymous). It took 4 minutes.
That's coming from one of the popular signature campaign manager in the forum, I'll take it as a legit statement and I wouldn't be worry using the site anymore despite playing anonymously. i had some major withdrawals before on a sportsbook with my account non kyc verified but the max amount I have tried was over $1k and it took 5 minutes IIRC, but this casino is one of the most popular in the forum and still actively promoting here.

Maybe fore some casino who aren't as liquid as HugeWin and will try to take advantage on the gamblers, they would alread require a KYC and gave them a hard time until they can forfeit the gambler's balance.
85  Economy / Gambling discussion / No gambling today due to bitcoin high transaction fee. on: April 20, 2024, 01:36:50 PM
This high fee is probably due to the 4th halving that was completed. I haven't seen this type of transaction fee this hight.

If you look at https://mempool.emzy.de/, the current transaction fee is  over $50 but in the past few hours it was over $100... So if you are a gambler who doesn't gamble that much like your range is only $10 to $100, it's impossible you will choose to gamble today with that very high fees.

This is only for gamblers who use bitcoin as the payment method, how is going today? Who among us here can still afford to gamble?
86  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: April 20, 2024, 12:44:31 PM
1xbit is not going to pay you. They will always write that you breach the terms and that you can withdraw the deposited sum only.
1xbit is the #1 scam bookmaker
A Normal post from all of the victims here about  breaching or not following their rules that is
why they are being banned and taken their funds away and never gives it back and from that this
site become the top ranking scammer casino site for many years now , this same reason why they
stopped collaborating from bitcointalk because their name is already burned here and  cannot gain
any one from this forum .
They tried though, IIRC they run a signature campaign for months but in the end they decided to quit as probably they aren't getting the results they are expecting. I believe 1xbit is a highly liquid casino but their reputation is not good enough that's why they cannot compete among the best in the industry, but they are still profitable I guess.

These users here complaining about this certain casino may not get a resolution of the problem but they were able to help the community to be aware about the reputation of 1XBIT.
I think its not just for a month but they run the signature multiple times for year if im not mistaken ,
they even changing from event after event just to try fooling the community and pretending to trying to
resolved those issues on them but the truth is they are just heading to more valuable victims and extending
their operation a little more before completely leave the forum now,
They canot resolve the problems already because they might just say that they are under the new management. They are well aware that they can't fix their reputation anymore but still trying to run a campaign in the forum hoping they can get some new gamblers to play with their site. With the big number of users in the forum,  I think not even 50% will try to check the reputation of the casino, if they see some high rank users wearing a signature, they'll just click it and sign up thinking a high rank member is promoting a casino, it should be legit.

88  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin way forward - Towards $100k or $50k on: April 19, 2024, 11:52:29 PM
Halving is currently taking place, so the price of Bitcoin will be very low. Because halvings were organized in 2012 and 2016 and 2020, and every year the price of Bitcoin is under the control of investors. So in 2024, Bitcoin halving will start for the fourth time and it is normal for Bitcoin price to be on the low side at this time. And going into the next year, the price of Bitcoin could see a higher peak in what is known as the big bull run.
The halving time is only two hours away and the price of Bitcoin is still in the market range of more than $64K, this could be quite possible for Bitcoin to make a price jump that is further than the ATH that previously occurred this year. Because several predictions also say that Bitcoin could pass the price range of $75K to $80K this year if the price correction no longer occurs or the upward price movement starts from the current price. But I also wanted to see if something like that could actually happen this year in Bitcoin.
I don’t see any chances as well that we will witness bitcoin price again dropping into $50k. The price correction might be almost over for now and soon we will witness bitcoin price starts to skyrocket again. And I guess we won’t wait that long since the bitcoin halving is now finally here, we’ll just wait as to how this present halving will affect the price of bitcoin. For now, patience and discipline are the keys not to jump into quick decisions.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin the best asset for investment currently? on: April 19, 2024, 11:21:58 PM
It is the way you understand Bitcoin that is how you will invest on it because so many persons has invested in Bitcoin and the go into handed because they have not comprehend the systematic way of investing in Bitcoin but today many people are investing in Bitcoin due to they have understand they advantages and the disadvantages of Bitcoin, and they can testify as a beneficiary of Bitcoin today based on they have understood the system of Bitcoin.. I will advise anyone who is going to invest in Bitcoin to make a proper research of Bitcoin before the person invest on it because some people does not see bitcoin as assets bitcoin as liability or waste of time
The first and foremost reason we have is most likely bitcoin offers more profitability rate compared to other investments. None of us will take higher risk if the rewards will not compensate us. However, in order for this to happen, extensive research and studies should be properly done so we won’t end up investing like gambling. Most particularly for bitcoin with such high volatility, it’s certain that those who wish to invest without sufficient knowledge might probably invest at a gambler’s point of view.
90  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to be more visible in the forum as a beginner on: April 19, 2024, 10:43:01 PM
I won't recommend POLITICS AND SOCIETY to beginners especially when they want to learn about Bitcoin because that board is full of not so useful stuff and beginners won't be able to learn a lot by reading threads on that board or making threads at that board.

In my eyes the best boards for beginners should be Bitcoin discussion, Beginners & Help, and Speculation. Those boards are mostly related to Bitcoin and the thread at those boards can be very valuable for the beginners.
You can’t stop these newbies from posting into that board if they feel they have serious information to share, most especially if they have seen that most of the posters there are not knowledgeable enough. However, if they are also incapable to make their post meaningful just like others, then it’s better to stay off from that certain board.

There are actually a lot of boards good for discussion, but it greatly depends on how far they will be able to understand those threads in that boards, otherwise they will only come out spamming in the forum.
91  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "Jontay Porter receives lifetime ban from NBA for violating gambling rules" on: April 19, 2024, 05:42:20 AM
Jontay Porter is a professional, he sign a contract and I'm sure he is well aware of the rules.

The punishment is brutal but I think he deserve it because if that is tolerated with light punishment, it will be the reputation of the NBA that will be both put at risk. This news would somehow help the NBA clean their reputation as there are still rumors spreading that NBA is rigged, and now that they make a strong statement through big punishment, people will think they are serious in cleaning the league to make it transparent.

I saw in an article that he made only $20k + from his betting activities but his NBA contract was $2M +... that's a huge waste of opportunity, so where is he going now?
92  Other / Meta / Re: Why is merit not common on trading discussion board on: April 18, 2024, 11:57:15 PM
Apparently yes.

Any member can send merits for any post they want. I have seen merit sources give (what I would deem to be) far too many merits for a single post that did not resonate with me in the same way as it did with them. Not only merit sources but non-merit source members also give merits as and when they want. There is no fixed board or topic that should hold priority over another, it comes down to the individual.

Is there no partiality in merit giving and receiving?
Yes, I have to agree. There’s no specific board where merit sources are advise to give their merits, but it all boils down to their own choice or preference as to what type of post they are going to merit. And in case if this trading discussion board receives less merits, most probably the answers to the thread are not meritable. That’s only from my own personal point of view.
93  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Illusion of Trading Success on: April 18, 2024, 11:24:28 PM
That’s where they become best actors and impersonators so most likely, they will keep on doing that until they’ll find enough reason to stop. So while the social media is still at a high advantage these days, and majority of the audience are in social media, they will continue to chase big and instant profits by deceiving those innocent people, something that they can’t do actually in the real field of trading.

And since majority of those aspiring traders have turn greedy, they will continue to follow and subscribe to those fake traders since all they think is that they can make their own trades successful and profitable from following all their tips and advices.
94  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Buy Buy or Sell Sell Sell? on: April 18, 2024, 10:57:05 PM
Ive been hearing about situations where someone buys a coin for a certain rate and not quite long after,  the said coin drops in value, or  someone sells his coin for a certain rate and then it appreciates just after.
What's your take on this? Given the period we're in is it buy time or sell time?
That's the normal thing in the market. You buy when you're able to buy and decide until how long you're going to hold it. And the same goes for selling, you sell at the rate that you're satisfied and no matter what happens next will be out of your control. You have no control over the market so if you sell and then suddenly it pumps, what's the matter with that? You'll regret because you've sold too early? That's normal because not everyone that sells are selling at the top and no one knows if it's the top already. That's why plan all of your activities whether you'll buy or sell, as long as you're able to plan that, no regrets afterwards for any decision that you do.
We all know that we can never take control whatever will happen in the market, that’s actually one of those challenges we have to face in dealing the market. So never be surprised if you see the price suddenly goes up after selling, or goes low after buying, because that is highly inevitable in the market. But as long as you manage your expectations, and you set plans and goals prior to decision making, whatever the outcome, at least you’re prepared for it. Regrets are normal, but you should also learn to stop regretting when you know you can’t do nothing about it and you know it won’t be helpful for you.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin’s bull run coming to an end? on: April 18, 2024, 10:32:56 AM
The price fell by 3.78% today,Current price $61748.But it’s still a price I can’t afford

You didn't know it dropped to 60+ yesterday and that means it has appreciated today. Anyway, stop bothering yourself about price fluctuations because you are going to see more of it soon when the volatility increase because of halving.

Meanwhile, you don't need to buy 1 btc, all you need is some Satoshi to hodl while expecting the price increase to make your own profit. However, price is going to improve with time after halving.
Yes, bitcoin price will be even more volatile in the coming days so expect that there will be consistent upward or downward movement of btc price, which means we will witness a roller coaster ride for bitcoin. Hence, if you are not vigilant enough to observe the price of bitcoin, still you will miss another opportunity to buy bitcoin. That is why instead of waiting for another price dips, why not buy a small portion now so you can have something to call your own. Bitcoin bull run is not coming to an end, just because of this price correction. In fact, we are just starting to witness a bullish market which will eventually lead to a real bull run in the next couple of months.
96  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀Moonbet Web3 Sportsbook & Casino | No KYC | Web3 Poker Now Available! on: April 18, 2024, 05:11:15 AM

Hello Moonbet team!

I see you don't advertise much on Bitcointalk!  Roll Eyes
I decided to refresh this thread because I have some of your signature campaign tokens and I just noticed that their price has increased x10 in last days!  Shocked
I'm very happy that you are developing and I wish you further success, because I will keep your tokens untill they grow at least x10 more!  Cool

Keep going guys!  Grin

Their last log in was October 2023, so it's been awhile and it doesn't look like they are coming back in the forum.

About the x10 increase, I'm just curious where to verify it as I was checking in CMC (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/moonbet/).. please  check if that was the right token becasue I didn't see an increase as there was no exchange in the report. I'm assuming, probably it's listed in a small exchange with low volume?

It's strange that they are not active here. Anyway, they must be active somewhere Wink
Maybe they'll come back to Bitcointalk Smiley
They are listed on Bitmart. And it's true, volume is low there:

https://www.bitmart.com/trade/en-US?symbol=MBET_USDT&layout=basic

I hope they will if they really are serious about the project.

Anyway, thanks for sharing where they are listed. I click the link and was directed to the exchange but I was surprise when I see the volume that is listed as "0.00000000 USDT"... You are lucky you enjoy that x10 increase because with that volume, I can pretty much say that the price has been only manipulated, and you are lucky you gain from it.
97  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can Bitcoin be a full time career for investors? on: April 17, 2024, 11:58:58 PM
So i wish to ask if Bitcoin has the potential that investors can rely on as full time career considering the inevitable uncertainty that are involve in Bitcoin investment such as difficult in price prediction and the volatile nature of the system which may pose some kind of difficulty to have adequate
Knowledge and better understanding of the system.

It's possible, but you need to understand that such may not be as immediately as you invest in bitcoin, this would have taken time to make your investment mature and earn profit before you can rely on it for more profitable income, though as you have already said, it's a volatile market, you can't expect it to be always pumping without dumping as well, learning a good marketing skills like trading is another means we can earn from it even daily, Bitcoin comes with diverse opportunities for it's investors only if and when they were able to identify one.
Yes, it’s possible but it also brings high risks as well. You can’t just invest and set a fixed amount of profits every time, that’s highly impossible for bitcoin. But due to its high volatility, people end up surprised with massive profits more than from their expectations, most especially if they are holding good amount of bitcoin at a long duration.

Also, if you invest in bitcoin with high knowledge and understanding on how the market works, with long years of experience investing or trading in the market, that will also make you eligible to gain consistent profits, to the extent of making bitcoin as a lifetime career despite of its high risks and volatility.
98  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What people some people don't know about trading on: April 17, 2024, 11:32:16 PM
Those who earn massively in trading are those who have dedicated 1-2 years of their time to learning a particular skill to perfection.

So, how can you earn 50-1000k like them if you didn't put in the work?
Can be more of the time that they've allotted in trading. Those that are earning a lot with trading, you have to think how much capital they have. Because in trading, the lower capital you have ,the lower expected gain that you'll have as well. Sometimes, someone becomes lucky that their airdrop money becomes a lot and that also contributes to the amount of money that they earn as they need to trade that airdrop reward for actual money for their own gains.
Well, big capital attracts huge profits as well. But it also matters on how skillful and strategic a trader is, as not all big time traders end up with massive profits. So the length of time a trader dedicates in the market really matters a lot.

However, there are also traders that are actually born passionate with trading and they really are good in predicting market analysis, and with luck in addition, that will be easier for them to gain thousands of profits when trading even with lesser experience than other successful traders.

The strategy was very impressive because in just a span of less than a month there was already a huge number of increase on "unique depositors". We are really on the right casino, I mean they are doing everythig to be more competitive and be one of the biggest in the future. The trend is very positive.
Huge number? Can you specify that actual number itself? Also, they have already established the fact that their promotions are some of the best in the gambling industry, but promotions alone aren't enough to push them to the top.

Other factors such as customer service, deposit and withdrawal fees etc also matter a lot in this context. They are on the right track though as you mentioned.

You can check on the link shared https://twitter.com/SmokeyLisa_tc/status/1778492125929259191/photo/1

There was a huge increase of depositors but we can't tell how much the exact amount in total.
