161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tezos retained it's top 10th Position in the market on: December 15, 2019, 10:36:29 PM
I'm not giving attention to this kind of altcoin before but after several news of staking acceptance and adoption on different exchanges, I think it's the reason why Tezos became popular and retained its position in the market. If this will continue and people will look forward investing to the Tezos staking, this will make this coin even more popular and continue to rank up.
at first, it was because of staking on coinbase, afterward they made a partnership with singapore government for training purposes. those were tezos major news before other exchanges were following coinbase enabling staking on their platform.
I think the biggest reason other exchanges were enabling it because it got support from singapore government.
I didn't know about that partnership in Singapore but well, that's a good news and looks big on the part of Tezos. That probably made them call about tezos and that's why they are supporting the coin and advertising it even more just like the other coins that they're supporting.
I think the impact of this will be seen for a long term basis which will benefit most of the early holders.
I do not think there is any personal talk about the Singapore government here. The article says: They has partnered with Singapore supported blockchain platform Tribe.

Being just staking focused is not my preferred feature too. Having a real product is one of the features that has always been discussed. Also, if the price drops at the end of the year when the 10000 XTZ for staking is frozen for 1 year, what about Plan B?
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you use an anonymous payment system? on: December 15, 2019, 10:05:29 PM
We are building a payment system like perfect money and the rest. The team want to remain anonymous cos of the following;
If you can install the system as you describe, your project will be one of the very few privacy project on the market. So, considering that the project is privacy, how do you intend to provide confidence to find someone to support you? Because we do not have an option to investigate the project. Also, will it be able to compete with projects like XMR, 0x, Zcash?
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New solutions on existing industries on: December 15, 2019, 09:37:18 PM
The appearance of new solutions is already tired of everyone and nobody is interested because we see what a pile of old solutions we left behind. The crypto community will be helped only by joining efforts because the endless desire to surpass each other has not led to anything good.
Lately, projects have been unable to reach softcap and a significant drop in prices after listing has driven the majority away from such innovations. For example, when I check out the project you propose, it is a very weak project in plain words, the last 24 hours volume is around $70. The project itself may be more than its value in $, but liquidity is the best indicator of demand.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized way how to earn interest on Bitcoin? on: December 15, 2019, 09:12:02 PM
I do not have info about the reliable hardware wallet that offers interest for BTC, but there are a few exchanges that offer this: https://coinsutra.com/earn-interest-bitcoin-crypto/ Because the party that offers you this service should have a benefit to give you interest. Otherwise, why pay for it? Or you can make staking by exchanging BTC to altcoin supported by hardware wallets. For more check out Atomic wallet and Trust Wallet
165  Economy / Economics / Re: Hi Excuse me Are currencies a "store of value on: December 14, 2019, 10:56:25 PM
Fiat currencies could never be considered store of value because their value is decreasing. If someone will hide a big amount of fiat under the ground to make sure he has something to spend after a decade or so, he will most probably have so little to buy with that same amount by the time he digs it up. The problem with fiat is that it is not valuable in itself unlike gold or even Bitcoin to a certain extent. Fiat is just a piece of paper without value.
Gold is just a metal, and BTC is just a cryptocurrency whose value is currently calculated in USD. Nothing in the world spontaneously gains value, we are the ones who value it. In terms of value store, the better side of BTC than USD is that it is limited, as a updated money. Otherwise, a method of payment that is self valued in the world and fully meets the value of each valuable asset has not yet been discovered. Actually, when we think we are the ones who value everything, I do not know how we will be able to get such a payment method.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchanges that offers staking service on: December 14, 2019, 10:01:40 PM
Staking coins is suitable for very conservative investors who are ready to receive 5-10 percent per year on cryptocurrency. This option does not good for me. I’ve been on the market for a long time and I understand that if you use your money smart there is a days where you can earn 100-200 percent per day if you choose the right coin.
Staking is good for making easy money unless there are no other choices. Just invest and wait for the time to run out. But for me it is a little different than it looks. Not being able to touch the investment for 1 year, regardless of whether the investment remains in the exchange or wallet, is not worth the profit of %5-10. Losing value is likely in such volatile market in 1 year. That is why trade is more preferable. If you had just bought BTC at the beginning of this year, you would have earned %100 with current price.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is a better alternative to Bitcoin and why not use it? on: December 14, 2019, 09:32:38 PM
I have heard about DGB before, it is good in terms of security and transaction speed. But what makes DGB stronger when even projects that are much faster (investigate Nano's speed) and safer than that are looking from the back rows? While the price of thousands of altcoins depends on BTC, do not compare such weaker altcoins with BTC.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO/IEO projects are lying to airdrop and bounty participants for a long time! on: December 14, 2019, 09:04:34 PM
How can we say if the airdrop or bounty reward is exactly $50 where it can even get dumped in exchanges?

There is no guarantee that the airdrop and bounty tokens we receive are "fixed amounts" (unless if it's a stablecoin or popular one like BTC, ETH, XRP, etc.)

So here is my advice to all ICOs and IEOs when you are doing airdrop and bounty program to participants.

Don't say "$50 worth of tokens". But rather say "$50 worth of tokens in ICO/IEO price", so that people like me may be aware that the reward we get is not what we expect. There is 99.99% chance that the reward we get are going down to shit, and only 0.01% chance that it would actually go to the moon!

So to all ICOs and IEOs please, just stop lying to us about this!

I know most of you here can relate to this situation after so many months/years of participating in airdrops and bounty opportunities.

Does any of the airdroppers and bounty hunters agree or not with my statement? Feel free to comment here!
The price of "$50 worth of tokens" is already calculated with the ICO/IEO price. To understand this, adding ICO/IEO does not change anything. Also, there is no other way to calculate the value of the token that is already on sale. Investor also buys from this price. Because we can not know the price after listing, it depends on the demand.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So are we waiting for Ethereum 2.0 to take full effect in 2030? on: December 13, 2019, 10:13:43 PM
I can not give an opinion on the exact date of ETH 2.0. Actually, it is undesirable that some difficulties arise while waiting for next year, but yet I do not think there will be a problem in this regard, some improvements have already been made in the Istanbul hardfork, such as gas efficiency and speed improve. Do not worry, ETH 2.0 will be released until 2030.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beginner needs advice for portfolio on: December 13, 2019, 09:46:57 PM
For the last 2 Coins to complete the portfolio i need your help.
I thought about those coins:

1. EOS (because China)
2. TRON (because China)
3. Waves (Russia)
4. VeChain
5. Steem (Very low atm compared to average / ATH)
6. Energi
Do not invest in the project according to governments. China changes its decision every day, maybe tomorrow it will ban cryptocurrency or mining again. Also, I did not understand what the "atm" you wrote in front of Steem. I could not relate it with the ATM (Automated Teller Machine) we know. Anyway, if you consider investment as a long term, look at the future of the project, not today. You can also go out of your list for the rest, maybe somewhere else.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold and Crypto on: December 13, 2019, 09:22:20 PM
Gold is a fairly safe and stable economic storage unit that rarely loses its value. The same goes for cryptocurrencies, whose function and value are quite similar to gold. In the current economic era, cryptocurrencies are carrying a lot of responsibilities like gold.
I am not agree with you. How can virtual BTC with high volatility have the same function as the physically existing gold with the least volatile price? BTC is already used in many places, while the usefulness of gold as a payment method is limited. Gold is just metal and we are the ones that add value. Gold may be replaced by another metal or none of metal may be valuable. "But BTC is unique."
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are stablecoins a definite solution against a bear market? on: December 13, 2019, 08:55:07 PM
In a dreaded bear market that's lasts a long time, do you think that stablecoins are the definite solution for preserving one's investments?

So far, there has been a few stablecoins like Tether and NuBits which have gone lower than $1 at rare occasions. For investors depending on stablecoins as safe-haven assets against a bear market, this brings some disappointment. Still, stablecoins are able to retain their value against the USD most of the times. If they remain as is, then one could simply pour money into stablecoins to protect yourself against a long-lasting bear market. If prices for cryptocurrencies on the market go even lower than usual, you can even sell your stablecoins back into crypto to get more coins for your money. But this might turn to be extremely risky in a volatile crypto market.

What are your thoughts? Huh
In the bear market, there are two options to keep the money stable: fiat or stablecoin
Although it may charge a little more fee, fiat is a safer choice. Because there is a huge difference between the possibility of USD and USDT being scam. Even USDT itself is backed up by the USD (even if that is not true). Honestly, I have not tried any of them in the last drop, I just held BTC, but it would be the USD itself if I had the choice.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance’s IEOs keep Dumping, but why? on: December 13, 2019, 08:27:13 PM
Apparently, the scenario of this film have been written long ago by the team. It is just a cliche pump-dump theme. But I do not think there is any other fault than Binance's lie (They probably gave a statement like this to protect themselves) statement on this. The exchange sets certain limits that the amount sent is probably no more than that. In this scenario, there could be another exchange instead of Binance.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is for you scam project and what is for you good project? on: December 12, 2019, 10:15:50 PM
Guys we are talking a lot of times about "this project is scam" or "this project is amazing and soon moon" but sometimes scam project making a lot of x but amazing project making -90%. So what is for you good project? Which team and project is fake but making xx or team and project real but price making -90% and we should hold?

If you check out gainers-losers at CMC, you will see mainly shitcoins in the first place. That does not mean they are good, as you know. On the contrary that is proof that they are scam. Now, when we compare this idea with what you said, I guess the situation has become more clear. The change in price does not always show its strength. You can pump or dump every price on the market as you like, depending on the amount required.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will binance reach $23 as per experts prediction? on: December 12, 2019, 09:54:29 PM
i believe the price of binance coin will be more than that because of the exchange itself pretty popular without any issues regarding withdrawal/deposit
so in the next years the price of bnb will be beyond the ATH
I do not think so. Not having any issues regarding withdrawal/deposit is not enough reason to increase. There are other exchanges without such problems, but their prices are much lower than BNB. The steps taken by Binance are more important in this regard. There are still promotions to keep the BNB alive, but that is not enough. Follow the  CZ's next steps for this increase.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Useless projects! on: December 12, 2019, 09:32:04 PM
Hello, I would like to know which projects have really achieved their goals after an ICO/IEO/ITO. Is there a page or statistics about it?
In what meaning do you say "which projects have really achieved their goals"? Because there is always a goal for projects and it is impossible to achieve this within 1 year. You can only find statistics about the raised funds, which most friends wrote about it. But, if this is statistics about product or something else like this, it is almost impossible to collect. After ICO/IEO you can only find them one by one.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New altcoins with low difficulty? on: December 12, 2019, 09:05:15 PM
I am not closely interested in mining, but while doing the research for you I found a link. They write about some tips to make money at mining, as well as the names of 10 coins worth to mine and why they are profitable. I guess this is what you are looking for: https://changelly.com/blog/top-10-most-profitable-coins-to-mine-2019-2020/
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about Decentraland? on: December 12, 2019, 08:41:47 PM
People who want to get more information can visit the site: https://decentraland.org
it's my first time heard about decentraland and i just visit the website but my impression is not very good because if you visit the website you will saw a good building but then i visit the marketplace it's totally different.

But did you bought a property there? if yes can you share how it looks?
I guess you misunderstood the project, MANA has nothing to do with property. Check out:
Quote
Decentraland is a virtual world where you can build and explore 3D creations, play games and socialize.
The decentraland experiences are currently being built by thousands of LAND owners. Once they are ready, you will be able to explore the world on your computer, phone or VR headset.
That is why you misunderstood what you saw in the marketplace.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: As Per Crypto Expert Will Litecoin Coin Price Reach $1,500 by 2019 on: December 11, 2019, 10:09:20 PM
Well!! Did you know?

George Tung, A Cryptocurrency Analyst, Claims That Litecoin Will Reach $1,500 Towards The End Of 2019. Brian Kelly, The Head Of BK Capital Management (LLC), Is Sure We Might Witness An LTC Price Of $500 Or Even $600 By The End Of This Year. Though Conservative, This Approach Seems To Be Close To Reality.
https://coinpedia.org/information/ltc-litecoin-price-prediction/

What's your take on this?
Hmm... "Everything the crypto experts have said so far is true, only this one is suspicious." Do not take everything that experts say seriously, just read their thoughts, and if that makes sense to you, then do your own research and invest according to your own analysis. I can not undestand, what will trigger LTC price up to $1500? Whereas, the current price is only $43.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold backed coins are real?? on: December 11, 2019, 09:38:36 PM
what do you guys have to say about new projects that are backed by real gold? any one have information about PGpay project?
I have looked at the project and the team a little bit, obviously I did not encounter any problem, but not as solid as it should be. So to survive in today's market, you need to be better than the old ones, but I did not come across anything that could keep project solid.

do you know any project that is legit and backed by real life Gold and not scam?
If you are looking for a reliable gold backed project, check this out: https://www.paxos.com/paxgold/
