Active input from the indian community. open for all indian devs to  join team. Focusing not only India but a wider area of  south asia, purpose to solve real world  problems, Introduce and familiarize people to Cryptocurrency and encourage a active opensource developement community in India.  And no commercial motive, every thing is  volunteered and donated.

Yes this is not specifically focusing only India but a wider region of  south asia.
So what you think How long it will take before it releases..! I can see there is still whole lot of work to be done..! any Idea and how many people are behind the project?

At the moment  about 3 people a beta public release  is done you can try out and test the  system https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=527703.0

Dont let the Pakis know about this project. They'll use it for terror funding and we'll be arrested by POTA !!!
I really dont care about what religious nutjob try to do. If a terrorist is a religiously motivated they would be stupid enough to not understand crypto and if they use it they would be stupid enough to leave a giant blockchain footprint.

P.s - crypto see no borders, cast or creed. :-)

But on a serious note :

Lets do some thing like this. Form a FOSS group involved in contributing new idea and starting these type of projects.

I am already running project Nemesis what has a alt coin under works.  if its comfortable we can put it under it. a list of opensource projects that we can all work on and pool resources. If we get funding we can  allocate the funding on the project that needs the most and can even share resources of  each project.

We can have all the regional meetup groups have people talk about the  FOSS group and have  people signup from there, make this a truly national project.  this will also allow us to consolidate the meetup groups to stay on the same page through the country.

176  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: whom you are supporting LS election! on: March 10, 2014, 07:25:27 PM
guys com'on, politics!!! regardless who wins India will always have corrupt bureaucrats, and people in power who once in power will do any thing to stay in power.

We can all see who supports whom. so lets leave it to that. politics is all about propaganda, the less you see the mainstreem media and look your left and right you will know the truth.

Infact why not take a stroll out to the market and come back home. Count the numbers of beggars and homeless you see. If the number is 0 then you live in a  perfect country if not then its time for  every one to look beyond the boundaries of race cast and religion and look into humanity, and question the government system we live in.

Now my rant is over.

BJP highly supportive of religious right. That being said, is not a good thing for a secular democracy.
Congress secular in ways but has lost it way and now the blind leads the blind there.
AAP too small, trying to achieve the impossible, being crushed by mainstream media and big business. Dont think they would be able to make much of a difference in the  government atleast for another 4 years.
Others. many parties started out for a good cause lost it way and now they have become institutionalized in the current political system. (AAP may fall into line this if not checked)

Who do i support .  i support no one.  I dont like fighting with my brothers in are over political differences, race and creed. Fuck the system i say. If you are into bitcoins then you are one of a kind, a thinker, a revolutionary, a rebel, the one who stands out from the crowd .

there i go again with my rant so i am gona  shutup....

178  Local / Marketplace (India) / [Preorder] ASRock H81 pro BTC/H61 pro BTC on: March 10, 2014, 06:58:44 PM

Hi i am starting Preorder for ASRock H81 pro BTC/H61 pro BTC.

As you all know i had got a shipment of the H81 pro BTC last month and sold-out.

I am looking to do a preorder for a large shipment so that the cost can be bought down.

I am looking to import about 100 boards and looking to get at-least 70 boards pre-ordered so that i can pay for it.

I have calculated that the total amount after adding freight, customs, and handling charges would cost about Rs 8,000/- per board.
So i will start the preorder for the boards at Rs 8,000/- plus Rs 200 shipping.

If the cost becomes less i will refund the money or adjust it  by adding another board, if your order is large enough.

the shipment will be delivered in a tentative 3 weeks time of placing the order.
Order will be placed once we reach the target of 70 units.

Note :- i am right now not ordering any riser cables. but if you do order for your self  to use on the H81 pro BTC you can order the normal riser cable without the power cable. which should cost you around $4-6 over at ebay.com not ebay.in

I will keep this page updated with all the pre-order unit numbers.

179  Local / India / Re: Bitcoin Projects on: March 10, 2014, 06:30:54 PM
Here are some of the ideas for enterpreneurs to start their own business based on these concepts.

1. Bitcoin Transaction Graphical Visualizer
2. Find stolen bitcoins
3. Bitcoin / Altcoin payments Integrator
4. Bitcoin price fluctate finder using BigData analytics
5. Bitcoin services on SMS platform ( http://www.txtweb.com/ )
6. Hardware Bitcoins ( http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/589/hardware-bitcoins-smartcards-rfid-etc )

More details...coming soon.

(Feel free to suggest more ideas)

Why not try to see if we can put this under a opensource project. Get people to contribute to making this possible.

"6. Hardware Bitcoins"  - Working on this  with a few people.  not yet opensource.

But the others it would be nice to see  some movement going on.

finding stolen Bitcoin. this is some thing i have been  think of  for some time and is a possibility.
