161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens with my crypto when I die? on: June 16, 2018, 03:06:59 AM
Backup methods will need a lot of changes in the technology itself. This is a trustless system, which needs the intervention of the person holding bitcoins. In case a holder of bitcoin wallet dies, i think his/her bitcoin will still be in the system but no one can assess it. Making his/her asset lost .

It will be not accessible forever when you die, unless you trained a person or any member of the family how to access it. Just leave an instruction together with your private detailing how to access it. Be sure also you have a phycical copy of it written on paper and laminate as another backup.
162  Economy / Economics / Re: Why anyone who invests 5,000$ now in bitcoin will be millionaire by 2025 on: June 16, 2018, 02:02:24 AM
I too agree that bitcoin price will be much higher by 2025,but there is no guarantee for the price to reach such a higher ATH.

Yes, thers no guarantee and on possibility. If we believe it will reach another ATH, thats the spirit of positivity. Me too is very optimistic abouyt bitcoin in the years to come and by alyzing from its history,  we should. There are slumps but its year on year gain compared from the day it started is very huge.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to Crypto, Any Advice? on: June 16, 2018, 01:48:42 AM
Before buying any crypto, DYOR or  Do Your Own Research first, this is very important. Research the technology applied, what king of crypto it is,  I mean its uses. Wheter it is a utility type, platform or token shares and so forth. Does it has significant applications? In addition spend time here in forum, you will learn a lot.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution to the Facebook ban on crypto ads on: June 13, 2018, 06:59:01 AM
actually facebook is a good plaform to promote a project. because there are also many investors who use facebook to see a good project. but with the news that the facebook ban on crypto ads it's bad news. because one of the good promotions that is through facebook. I hope the government can understand this situation because not all ico is a scam.

This may not be fair but facebook has the right to do so. There maybe no facebook ads but the there individual posts about ICO's I see. This is a social media in thier wall and this is allowed I think.
165  Economy / Economics / Re: SEC is preparing cryptocurrency fraud crackdown... on: June 13, 2018, 01:17:36 AM
SEC is preparing cryptocurrency fraud crackdown
-snip-

Really this is nothing new and the SEC has always been against cryptocurrency FRAUD. I believe it is important to clarify the point that they are only after "fraud" and not crypto itself. Nowadays, we have to be really careful how we word our messaging because the general public is usually composed of idiots who easily associate the word "fraud" with real projects in the crypto scene, thus panic, thus causing market crashes.

I fully support this one as there are many ICO's already that after millions of dollars, they are gone or they are having some drama like steling, usurping etc. Take for  example with envion, they did not resolve yet. Investors are clueless what will happen next.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still use MEW? on: June 12, 2018, 12:19:49 AM
I use MEW as well as a hardware wallet, Meta-mask and several paper wallets.  I just prefer to keep air-drop coins on MEW or Meta-Mask.  Any coins that i want to keep secure or HODL long i keep in my cold hardware wallet off-line.

Yes, This is my combination too. MEW+Meta Mask is safe in my opinion since you are not entering your private key frequently. Meaning your private key is safe, also you can generate  your wallet inside meta mask, this is very safe too.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MOJOv4] coming soon - unique MasterNode & dividend system on: June 12, 2018, 12:03:05 AM
Been trading this for a while.  It would be good if team stepped up with a roadmap.   Has a cool name and with a little effort/investment could be a better coin.

I agree with you. Very cathcy and I am one of early adapter of this coin. But I sold all of them when things is not clear. Now, I just came here for any any updates, as I want to hold thgis for long term but seems, dev ius not active. This is a good project I think they can revive this.
168  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Will Bitcoin Be Back To $20,000 ? on: June 11, 2018, 11:40:55 PM
Well, this is the question everyone is asking. When?

Bitcoin drop too much less than or below $7,000 and some  crypto financnial analyst their target for this year already. I think its $12,000 to $14,000 if  I can remember. 2018 is not favorable year if it will happen. But still I am hopeful of bitcoin that more good news coming out before the year ends.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet and Jamie Dimon Critics Bitcoin yet Again on: June 09, 2018, 12:20:55 PM
Old people giving their commentary on technology is funny.

They’re too vain to admit that their empires were largely fabricated by an antiquated perception of value; a perception that is dissolving before their simply by the society becoming aware of the nonsense that’s made the world go round for the last 40 years.

Funny indeed. Also this person made thier fortune in the traditional stocks trading. They made thier name and known in wall street with billions of dollar of assets. This cryptovurrency is a threat to their wealth. They are very negative or skeptical  about cryptos since this is not thier game and they cant control it.
170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why choose LONG-TERM TRADING? on: June 09, 2018, 07:51:38 AM
Long term hold on trades gives a bigger return. A coun or tpken as long as it is legit or with active community and or developer will comtinue to increase on year in year basis, most of them. I prefer long yerm hold on main coins and do some  daily trade on some.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving Your Job is The Worst Idea on: June 09, 2018, 04:35:20 AM
If you leave your job without stable income from cryptocurrency, then that's the worst decision you'll ever made.Do not ever leave your job for cryptocurrency because no one knows how long cryptocurrencies exist.Anyway, this thing can be done on your free time or right after working hours.I guess we only have 8 hours to work everyday so the rest of the day is for bounty hunting.

Agree, unless you have a business built from your gains in trading cryptocurrency. You must have a fallback or a solid source of passive income unless you earned millions of dollar from it. Having a job is okay for me while accumulating assets so to say.
172  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Hardware wallet vs Software wallet on: June 08, 2018, 12:58:15 AM
Well it depends on your needs and purpose. For me I  would prefer to use hardware wallet for long term hold of coins  where you can kept for long period of time or sometimes open it. But for daily transactions I prefer online wallet say for example for  trading. I let it stay on  exchanges, a substantial amount for easy trading and transfer of funds to other web wallet.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $$MORE EXPENSIVE THAN bITCOIN$$ on: June 07, 2018, 11:22:23 AM
why are you looking for a crypto currency that is more expensive than bitcoin? i dont see any benefit in deciding the investments like this. and anyway check the daily volume. it is very low. so even you invest in this you can not sell it with this low volume.

I agree with you but also check the coin supply. Maybe supply is limited or what os the features oìf this coin?  It is better that there are more user or supporter for this coin to move in trading nad to have volume. Or i mean the coin is widelu distributed than  being control or manipulated.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 essential rules to avoid cryptocurrency scams on: June 04, 2018, 01:29:55 AM
Very informative. Avoid airdrops which ask for emails as possible, or use a dummy email instead. Since most phishing activities are through emails. Once you click the link and login, you are compromise.
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MtGox wallets with thousands of BTC inside on: June 03, 2018, 04:20:25 AM
I guess its as simple as always, no private keys, no access...

That was I thought but, its impossible that they did not know the private keys. If it was lost or misplace  then its lost forever. But hope they will not dump that in market ,otherwise it will afgect bitcoin price.
176  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical analysis bullshit? on: June 03, 2018, 03:20:24 AM
I am not yet sure if TA actually works with crypto currencies.
I haven't had any success with pure TA so far. However fundamentals and news seems to do better job at predicting the price of a crypto.

Or Am I doing it wrong? I tried a simple RSI strategy to trade and it didn't workout well.

Should I even bother with technical analysis when it comes to cryptos?

TA can be used as a guidance when investing or trading. However, ypu should not base ypur deciaion solely in TA since crypto market demand is affected by many factors.

Well TA is fine, but trading with  cryptocurrency is different. Cryptovurrency can be manipulated and your TA becomes useless. Remember that crypto trading is not regulated and whales is free to play around.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold all my ETH and bought ADA on: June 03, 2018, 02:45:59 AM
ADA is worth 1/10th of ETH in terms of market cap, but has so much more potential. Completely lost my confidence in ETH as new ICO's on decline, unknown inflation etc etc.
ADA takes time to raise the price even 1000 Satoshi because in every order we can see sellwall lined up.
I'd better buy and hold Ethereum while the price goes down like now but I'll buy it with fiat. So when Bitcoin and Ethereum go up then I get double profit.

I am holding Eth too and I have ADA  for long term. ADA has solid development team and a very good whitepaper. I like these two coins. Though I am saddened  with mews that some ICOs are migrating to their own main net leaving the Ethereum platform. Eth is becoming a standard ICO platfporm to collect funds before having thier own main net.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook is launching '' FaceCoin ''' on: June 02, 2018, 11:19:13 AM
I know that facebook is studying about having their own cryptocurrency but there is no official announcement yet. If this is the facecoin, then its great. Everyone will welcome it.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is etherium good for long term on: June 01, 2018, 01:52:07 PM
Of course, Ethereum is best for long term hold  in my opinion. With so much ICO in the Eth plstform,I think this project will thrive. Also so much update is underway and in addition this is 2nd on coinmarketcap.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need to regulate digital money on: May 30, 2018, 03:28:05 AM
Regulation works like a double edged sword. There's pro's and con's.
Pro's will be with regulation it open sits doors legally to every person who wants to have and hold Bitcoins legally. If they wan't to sell it, it would be easy because exchangers will be easier to find and the risk of being scammed is less since exhangers needs to go through a lot to do business. Downside is that regulation can be used by those who can pull a lot of strings to protect their business where Bitcoin acts as a threat. Those big businesses can call someone to create laws or regulation to give Bitcoin holders and users a hard time to use it and exchange it.

Yes, it has advantage and disadvantage.Being regulated meaning a government or a body has a control over it. I like it being unregulated, being free to spend it anywhere. What I want to be regulated is the ICO's. Those project are flooding already, and some are scams especially on the platform. Hope to curb those scam ICO's.
