101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need to regulate digital money on: September 12, 2018, 01:13:05 PM
Well you have the idea there because cryptocurrency is realize in a way of anonymity and in the contrary they implemented blockchain technology. After all blockchain technology is not enough to make the system worth it to be accepted by the government that is why the ETF which being discussed in the USA congress was being denied. However we really need to have a regulation in terms of securing our investments to where our money will be put up especially on those ICO projects that collect contributions.

I agree, I am in favor of regualtion because we are spending real fiat money here  converted to digital format. Scams are everywhere , and we should be protected from this con man hiding  in ICO's. Several people are lsong money already. Not just hundreds of thousands of dolalrs but in millions. Fraud shouls be punish, we hope for it.
102  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be discouraged! Keep holding. on: September 12, 2018, 01:01:05 PM
it is difficult to still hold bitcoin especially if he buys at $14,500 in January and he still holds until now and not all people can do what he did. I am sure that he has a big patience to wait for the price to increase more than $14,500 so he can sell his bitcoin and take the profit. I wish that he can wait for the price and still be patient, keep calm for a long time until the price can increase higher.

Thats true, same with holders of ETH where eth right now is in dip losing more than 80% from its highest price in January. We have notrhing to do  but HOLD and wait. But until when? Maybe a year or more  Grin
103  Economy / Economics / Re: Turkey’s economic crisis can trigger the next crypto bull run on: September 12, 2018, 06:39:04 AM
Economical crisis in general are like a pulled trigger that impacts the economy. There might be a bigger activity in the currencies because of it. To trigger the next bull? Hmm not sure.

Triggering the next bull run for crypto will require more than just Turkey's economic crisis. Moreover, it is not like overnight, Turkish citizens will just start pulling all their funds and putting it into crypto without understanding how volatile and risky the space can be which would make them preferably choose a traditional asset that has been used over the years like gold and silver. Practically few of the crypto enthusiasts may want to see the space as an avenue to hold on to, but that would take a lot of understanding.

Indeed, since cryptocurrency market is huge enough to cover one country to ove it. There should be a worldide trend and demand to trigger it. Though one country can help, but the more the merrier is always welcome and it should be.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fight between BTC and BCH communities drive away people from cryptos itself. on: September 12, 2018, 06:26:16 AM
We could see the fights between BTC and BCH community members accusing each other's coin and spreading negative thoughts about the crypto market itself as a whole. Each coin dev as well as its supporters wants to show the other coin down.It makes people who wish to enter crypto loose their faith in cryptos and stay back.

Come on guys, even if we wish or not we all are sailing in the same crypto environment boat.Don't accuse each other or else we all have to sink one day or another.

If someone is pointing out the demerits and deficiencies of any of the crypto-currency, then what is the need to take it negatively? None of the crypto-coins are 100% perfect. We need to learn from the critics and then take care of any shortcomings.

There is always rivalry especially on bitcoin which is the p[rimary cryptocurrency. Whatever the failures, it should be corrected and help provide the solution. Each cryptocurrency has its unique features and we should respect that.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ellaism: Ethereum network with no premine and no contentious hard forks on: September 12, 2018, 06:15:58 AM
Low coin price now, time to buy some coins. I see there is some development on Trust wallet, is there any plan for EOS DApp?

Yes its low for  now and development is silent too. Several months already past and we did not hear from devs. I like this project since its look like an Eth, just liek a clone of it. I wonder when the real applications and projects will be release.
106  Economy / Economics / Re: Why anyone who invests 5,000$ now in bitcoin will be millionaire by 2025 on: September 07, 2018, 12:46:08 AM
Its the same thing like you buy an realstate at cheaper price then after 10 years it will be 10x from the original price but i don't know if the situation is applicable in Bitcoin as we all knows that the price of Bitcoin is always fluctuating except if all the countries will use Bitcoin as currency for spending in 2025 then the chances that holders will become rich is very high.

Cryptocurrency, bitcoin to be specific is here to stay in my opinion. As  time goes by the  difficulty and supply becomes widely distributed. And with its uses and adaptability, more people will try to own one. It will drive the bitcoin price as demand rises as bitcoin has a fixed supply of 21,000 pcs. only.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO this time, yes or no? on: September 07, 2018, 12:23:34 AM
As a personal advise, NO. Just observed first and do more research before giving in to some ICO's. Its true that there are good projects, but there are majority of scam projects too. They just lure you to invests and once they gain profit, they abandone the project or no active development at all.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Really? Next Bitcoin is Litecoin on: September 07, 2018, 12:12:46 AM
I also have heard that Litecoin is the successor of the Bitcoin. However, if in the view of development until now, I think this is not possible. Due to the Litecoin of its development is very slow and now the price is getting crashed. A lot of people who are already investing in Litecoin however, they suffered a loss and this certainly very disappointing.

Same with other coin too. Take a look at Ethereum right now, it crash also and loses its value almost 70% from the year started. Litecoin is the closes coin next to bitcoin since it wa fork from the former. But its Ethereum that is in second in terms of market capitalizatrion. In addition, Ethereum has proven itself a worthy platform, since several ICO was launch from it.
109  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Market is down. on: September 06, 2018, 10:03:40 AM
The Bitcoin price has today dropped 12%, taking its year-to-date losses to an eye-watering 50%, after South Korean exchange Coinrail warned users it’s reviewing its system due to a hacking attempt.Meanwhile, rival cryptocurrencies Ethereum and Ripple are both down over 10% today,However, Bitcoin holders aren’t broke yet — overall, the Bitcoin price is up over 100% on this time last year when it was trading for less than $3,000.

In just a matter of hours, bitcoin drop which was trigger by several FUD news in my opinion . Same with Eth,  it has a domino effect. Cryptocurrency market is indeed a very  risky and volatile. Maybe this is the last dip we are seeing this year and hoping it will continue to increase next year. As a holder, just relax and be calm, we will recover.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Hits $24,000 In Iran on: September 06, 2018, 09:49:15 AM
I wonder if there is a way to take advantage of this fact. For example, the first thing that comes to mind is arbitrage trading. If you know someone in Iran and if you can move money across the border, probably you can. The other question is if this is just a temporary spike.

This would be either temporary, either some smart Iranians will do that arbitrage until the price evens - more or less.
Interesting is the timing. Unless this is old news, it's surprising that Bitcoin spikes in Iran while it falls badly in the rest of the world (although this should be temporary too, I hope).

Edit: I've read the story and the comments and it looks like the 24k price is incorrect. Any proper news agency would apologize and correct that kind of article...

Seems like a hype news or it happened on thier locaL  exchange. Sooner or later  bitcoin price will stabilize. If its true, its just temporary, its a big difference outside here that Bitcoin price is nearing $6,000. Mny news outlet got this news, its a good hype, but  still Bitcoin is hard to push right now. LOL
111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the usual mistakes that newbie traders usually do? on: September 06, 2018, 08:00:11 AM
This is what i usually did when i started newly as a novice trader: I rush into trade not know when to sell out or hold. Lessons i learnt taught me that rushing into trade is always a wrong call. you should always exercise enough patience before entering into trade, and you should be aware of when to stay and how long to stay and when to get out of the trade. and make money
At least don't be greedy in trade. That will make you regret. After you see some profit and you feel enough, just cashout or sell your asset, then if want to start again with same pair, wait it to down again or you can change to other pair.
I think even the old ones here are crypto world are sometimes tend to become greedy. But of course, this should be avoided so you will not end up losing your coins.I also think panic selling is one of the mistakes that newbie traders usually do.They cannot control their emotions watching the price continues to fall and so they do panic selling which make them a loser too in the end.

The best thing to do is to learn how to control your own emotions. Once you manage to do this, you will succeed. Without it you can't rely on any profit in longterm.

Controlling emotions and being FOMOed. This is my mistake base on my expereince to a newbie. Since I they are new, they are easily swayed by people on chat box. They hype and a newbie will believe ang bougth a copin being promoted. Ending,  a newbie losses., Then since  he is losing, he is hesitant to sell for a cut loss and his losses went down further. This is a common scenario and I hope we learn from this.
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin lose market share? on: September 06, 2018, 06:25:10 AM
Bitcoin will never lose in sharing market and will continue growing up, as long as many investor to come bitcoin will never lose, bitcoin will never end and that the most trusted and the most popular cryptocurrency that many investors had been investing compared to the other altcoins.
Very good opinion and I agree with your opinion.
Yes, it's true that bitcoin will never lose in any case, including in the market or in investment, even many investors trust bitcoin as the best coin and many people believe that bitcoin has a good future because bitcoin always grows rapidly.

I shared with the same opinion. Its a no and will not lose a market share since its the pioneer crytptocurrency and still it has a loyal follower. It can share its marketshare to some crypto but bitcoin will remain in my opinion.
113  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience is the most important thing on: September 06, 2018, 05:43:50 AM
yes that is true, to be able to succeed in crypto, patience is the most important thing, patiently we can become more calm and think positively because there are still many opportunities to get profit

Patient is really important, especially now that the market dip further. We have nothing to do but wait  for the market to recover and this is a long wait in my opinion or will take even upto next year. Patients also really give a good returns and time is of an ally here in this times that full of uncertainty. Cryptocurrency is here to stay, its a fact and we just have a little time for it to recover.
114  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why I don't Support KYC in cryptocurrency as it is on: September 06, 2018, 05:31:32 AM
The concern on ICO demanding KYC is real. There is indeed so much threat that comes along with it. But i do believe that not all ICOs are requiring KYCs, and if it does, the option is really in our hands whether to proceed supporting, contributing or investing in them.

The only reason i can guess as to why the KYC is being imposed was to comply with regulatory requirements of the governing country from which the ICO originated from.

So if you really don't trust the team behind the ICO, one can always walk away from such.

Of course, tehre is a big risk regarding giving your info to others. In digital age, identity theif is real, and it happens  frequently. I do not trust on some ICO wherein thier high ranking officials seems fictitoous too. In addition, your submitted info can be use against you, like in filing taxes whgerein they can trace you and your digital assets in the future. Too risky to trust someone your impotant details.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy more ETH? on: August 17, 2018, 07:32:14 AM
If it seems to me, should you buy more. Because of this now while the price is low also ethereum. And I also feel that this will soon increase ethereum again price.

For me, its a yes too. Though this is not a solicited advise but ETH had fallen too much already and its a matter of time that it will recover. We are nearing for a bull run until the end of the year and I am very optimistic about. I hope so.
116  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Motivates you to Invest in Cryptocurrency? on: August 17, 2018, 06:41:01 AM
I am motivated to make a profit and invest in such projects at an early stage of development, which can provide an opportunity to create a lot of capital to improve their standard of living!
If we talk about motivation and connects it to bitcoin, there is no other word comes in mind other than to earn money. People are getting into this risky world just to earn money from bitcoin. These people sometimes might have other intentions too but main and primary purpose for most of population is this. Still we have ultra legends who are working here for technology grasping.

Thats the main goal for sure, that is to earn money. I tend to invest in cryptocurrency because of the technology behind it. I joined several ICO's hold until now but most of them I lost Cheesy  As of now, most of the trader/investor here are very cautious and lost some appetite on ICO's or some on a lie low and on look out for a new solid ICO's that is serious enough of the project.
117  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you still holding when market price falls abnormally? on: August 17, 2018, 04:08:30 AM
a good investor would tell you that this the best time to buy and not sell. some of the worlds leading investors like Mr buffet only buy when the market is down so that the buy it at the best possible price. thats the way all investments work and thats the way you make money in the investment world. we listen to the panic and all the useless information and then based on that we make decisions, but this is not correct. bitcoin is a holding investmesnt, meaning that you need to set long term goals if you want to make a profit.

Yes, when prices goes low, its an oppotunity. They say Buy when theres blood on the street. Previoues weeks and until now the market did not recover yet, and market is bleeding. If you are a veteran trader, I think its a shopping time if you have some funds to spare.
118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: are u a technical analyst? on: August 17, 2018, 03:55:18 AM
If you are a novice I recommend using Youtube, it has a lot of video about trading. Youtube provides basic trading guides such as market analysis, chart, coin, etc. Along with these illustrative examples are easy to understand.

Thats true. I am not a technical analyst and  I have zero knowledge of these technical analysis when I started trading cryptocurrencies. I learn from here, from postings and advises, links being shared and from personal expereinces of fellow traders here. I too surfing information from youtube and interent. If you have the desire to learn, and eager and passionate enough to learn things  I think youll get want  you want.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the King of ICO, Do you agree? on: August 17, 2018, 03:31:07 AM
I believe that, ETH is the king of ICOs. In a very short time it has become very popular for its stable, fast and secured nature. The price is now low, but it will go higher then it will be more popular.

I can't agrue more. It has proven already and will continue to be one of the ICO's platform of most project to raised funding. MOst of the popular projects like EOS, TRON,Vechain etc which are proposing or having thier mainnet lauch started from Ethereum platform. Its a jumpstart or starting point of most project and we can't deny it.

Re: Do you approve this strategy: sell alts buy btc?

No. I did regret  this becasue I am all in alts. Though they are in top coins list in CM<C but I think its good that I maintain a balance in BTC also. Say 50% - 50% share, I know bitcoin is the main crypto but I was drag to some altcoins feature which lead me to hold more alts. I hope I can recover too in the soonest once bull season is here.
