1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever regretted selling your bitcoins ? on: January 24, 2024, 06:43:58 PM
We've all been there, that moment of realization when you remember selling your precious Bitcoins years ago and wonder if you missed the boat.  Well, take a deep breath, because im here to remind you that in the world of crypto, time is always on our side!

It might sting a bit to think about what could have been if you held onto those BTC, but let's not forget the golden rule of crypto: it's a marathon, not a sprint. The market is dynamic, and opportunities are ever-present.

Well, if you are one of the long-term holders of bitcoin, even if you are not a rich person in the field of crypto, if you have a goal 5 to 10 years from now, you will save Bitcoin through DCA is for sure in those years of your goal you will be able to save a large amount of Bitcoin if you do it weekly.

And it's also true what others say that those who sold Bitcoin now because of impatience or carried by their emotions are also sure that in the end they will always regret it and for those who think that maybe they are too late, I can say that it is not yet they are late to accumulate Bitcoin.

You're right. Some people who sold their bitcoin were not patient for the long term, they simply bought it to profit quickly because when they heard that bitcoin was increasing, they rushed to buy because they wanted to profit quickly rather than keep it for the long term, which is not how an investment should be, because anyone who invests cannot simply sell anything they invest in without making a significant profit. You can't just benefit from bitcoin without being patient, and it's all about the long run, but I've seen some people sell their coins for whatever reason because they can't sell them, such as emergence. other individuals simply sell because they are unable to take risks. Because people will be thinking that if they leave the currency for too long, it will most likely drop and they will lose, and no one can forecast how bitcoin will be in the next 5 to 10 years because it can increase and decline so quickly is just to apply your knowledge and profit from it.

Those people who sold thier bitcoin, maybe there is something important need that they spend or convert it to cash and that BITC was  well spend and serve its purpose.Bitcoin is a good investment but if you have played well and profited from those ups and down, its a best decision you have made.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market will come back bigger again on: February 03, 2023, 03:17:49 PM
Hello guys,
With this ordeal going on it seems much-lost faith and bailed as if the whole market is going to vanish. This kind of thing happens more often in the stock market with inside trading, embezzlement, etc. In reality, it’s a perfect time to get in with everything dropping so low. It will come back and come back bigger than ever after this dies down and there will be improvements to hopefully prevent this from happening again. So do not lose hope and know that the bad time will inevitably pass, and you may not be able to make up for this opportunity again. Just my opinion.
what you said a few months ago is very true, where when the market looks like what you said then it should be the right time for us to collect crypto that allows it to have good value in the future, I think with market conditions like that it is an opportunity that must be taken to profit when the market returns to normal

There are market cycles and whatever happens the market recovers. Though as of now seems bleak  because of some layoiff reported from big companies,  there are also some good news that in some parts the ecomy slowly recovers. Still people are optimistic that we can recover. Still there is an opportunity especially now  that we are slowly recording from .pandemic.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question to players: what does really drive you crazy in an online casino? on: November 06, 2022, 11:57:58 PM
  - What a gambler should do when entering crypto gambling is to first find out if it is under a regulated business that requires KYC. At least this way you know for yourself if you are going to enter that game or not. Because if you find out that their policy is like this and you don't like their KYC rules but you also create an account on their platform, it will appear that you are the wrong one.

Because most of the problems of gamblers in gambling platforms is the sudden blocking of their account when they are about to withdraw a large amount and the main demand from them is KYC often. This is only when a gambler appeals to the support of the gambling platform.

This is true. When you are about to withdraw and there are many requirements and will even require kyc. Most people want anonymity when playing, just to enjoy and here comes the kyc thing.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won 9600$ in dice by mistake with 2% chance on: October 31, 2022, 10:41:54 PM
Be careful most of the times when someone hits a decent  amount and was just lucky they lose it all back.  If I were ypu I wouldn't jump on any dice sites anytime soon just let it sit.  Otherwise you might end up chasing.  Or let it ride!! Congrats on the win.

Same here, I would rather cash out 3/4 of ther cash and leave something to try again for enjoyment. This is pure luck,an unexpected windfall... let you enjoy your winnings.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the perfect time to invest in Bitcoin on: October 31, 2022, 02:31:02 AM
I agree with OP here, now is bearish season and if you have spare money, now is a right time until next year. But if you are trader you can earn more depending on your strategy and luck. It's better to start accumulating now and a perfect timing when another halving comes.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Meta has burned $15 billion trying to build the metaverse on: October 31, 2022, 01:00:20 AM
Quite surprised to see more comments are negative about the technology, but myself I beleive it is really possible but not going to happen in very short time like in 18 months, it will take atleast 5 years to roll out the beta and the development will go on for years. Why Mark started too early is to establish he wants to take the first seat so more profits than back seats but as far as the investors concern towards is understandable but they took the bet so have to accept the outcome as well.
But he is burning billions without a product in sight! Metaverse as we can see it in some promo videos is still far away, and 18 months or 5 years is a pretty long time... he will probably burn even more billions until that point! I don't think that people are negative, it's just reality. For metaverse you will need VR, and how many people have and actively use it?! And do we really need it? How many people are really interested in the metaverse? Do we really need some other reality like the one we can see in some movies?

I guess the metaverse can be interesting, but let's keep it within some limits! We also need to stay humans who need some real touch!
I am guessing that it's not directly cash, most of the time when calculating these type of things they do count things that are not directly money, but worths money, such as man hours, which means if 100 people worked on it for 6 months then you calculate all the cost of those employees at the same time, and that could be calculated into it.

I doubt that it would be 15 billion already, that just doesn't make sense, what could they really spend that 15 billion on, think about it item by item, doesn't really sound like a true price. Maybe they are just showing it as a cost to pay less taxes I don't know. But in the end, if they can achieve it one day, it would be all worth it.

Of course not directly cash, but worth of it. I admired Mark Zuckerberg as he is the one driving force of the future, the technology he envisioned and trying to make it a reality. He is in esting here,it means it is doable and achievable, just a matter of time.
7  Local / Pamilihan / Re: ABRA Referral Rewards not paying? on: April 13, 2022, 05:41:35 PM
Nag pay na sila recently nag start nung March 28 and halos lahat ng mga nag lagay and nag hold ng 7 days naka kuha na ng worth $40(price nang CPRX nung pagka depo nila and pag join sa program) but ngayon ang problem nalang is di maka withdraw thru Abra wallet kailangan edaan sa bittrex which mga 500+ cprx din worth 1200 pesos . Kaya ako hold nalang muna hanggang mag open ang withdrawal nila sa CPRX this month na naman daw and sobrang dump pa ng value now dahil sa pag distribute nila ng CPRX and selling ng ibang nakatanggap
8  Local / Pilipinas / Re: GCash offering crypto services soon on: April 13, 2022, 04:54:28 PM

Parang abra wallet ganun? Tama rin bat meron akong tanong diba meron silang scan to pay if ever ba like ma intergrate yung crypt is magagamit kaya yung scan to pay without converting it to our own fiat? like BTC to BTC ang transactions (nevermind the fees) since medyo napa isip lang ako neto

11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com announces Israel Adesanya as their Global branded ambassador on: January 28, 2021, 05:14:15 AM
If you are plying in Stake.com I'm sure you will receive this announcement, they have a good choice of ambassador, Adesanya is always the talked of the town after beating Costa and challenging Jon Jones, well the best deserves only the best and Stake.com just got the best ambassador.

Congratulations to Stake.com and to the new sports brand ambassador Israel Adesanya. I am a huge fan here, he's stepping up to 205 lbs, great! I am always checking his timeline on Twitter here: https://twitter.com/stylebender and confirmed, he posts about his ambassadorship @stake.com

Good choice for stake.com
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: January 27, 2021, 11:07:25 AM
It is sad to know that someone died in heart attack because that he won the lottery. Though winning the lottery for gamblers is the most exciting
moment, but having a heart attack while winning the lottery is scary. Therefore, this is a lesson for people who have a history of heart attack,
avoid listening or reading the announcement of lottery winners directly. Can be represented to those closest to us who are young and do not have
heart disease. This can prevent bad things from happening.

Sudden excitement makes them vulnerable especially if you have a weak or underlying heart illness. It's better to be with members of your family when you check your ticket if you have an idea some details is already known or winning. This overexcitement or shock and palpitations and raised heartbeat is the main cause of heart attack, I pity them because they won but they cant enjoy their winnings.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron alternative options .. on: January 06, 2021, 06:50:45 AM
Due to the high cost of ethereum in transactions, every time I make a withdrawal, I always use TRON, as the main choice because of the small cost.
what do you think, are you also doing the same thing?

If transaction fees and speed are the only concerns, Dogecoin and Litecoin are some widely accepted coins with low fees. Tron surely is a good option and there are some tron based tokens that are virtually free to transact and many exchanges even provides zero fees withdrawal. There are many other cheap and fast coins like nano but it's not that widely available in exchanges.

I agree TRON is already a good option but I can vouch for another coin XRP. Though XRP is now under siege, we can't deny that it's a fast, reliable, and cheaper alternative for various transactions. I usually used XRP since it is supported by our local exchange but now that its future is full of uncertainty and some delisting from other exchanges, I don't know what's a better alternative to use locally.

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 19, 2020, 11:41:59 AM
HODL isn't for the weak who will start raising their voices after few years of holding if the coin don't surge, to HODL you must be ready for a very long journey because bear market can take years to be alive more than a bull market, holding coins is not meant for weak people

It depends on what coin you're holding. I have coins that I hold for several years, I rest my case, I liquidated some since more coins I'm holding has no value now. As a lesson, better check your coin from time to time and sometimes it's better to cut loss than to lose at all. I agree that holding is not  for weak people,  only just waiting for aa good timing.
