221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lets do an Aim that we will not fear from any bad news and will Support BITCOIN on: March 14, 2018, 11:28:17 PM
Whatever happens, I will always support bitcoin! For me, this is the perfect currency! Which should replace all other currencies in the world and then people will stop paying taxes for turnover bitcoin and will be richer!

Thats the enthusiasm! Same here, I've encountered same situation and bitcoin always recovers. I know bitcoin  will come a long way and here to stay. We see how bitcoin works, we appreciate it and the convenience it brings. So, just let them sow the FUD news, I  ignore  it.
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin Help on: March 14, 2018, 11:17:52 PM
Do you have the transaction hash? You can check here at https://blockchain.info/ . Just enter the trxn hash and you'll find if its already processed or not or how many confirmations needed to be credit to your friends wallet.

If it says not "NOT SENT" in your wallet, did you put the suitable  transaction fee? Sometimes, it is not processed and one possible reason is fee being lower than what is desired.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines is starting to accept bitcoin. on: March 14, 2018, 07:40:00 PM
This is the beginning of bitcoins era in the Philippines. I think bitcoin will be more safer now than before. And its good for us bitcoin holders because there will be more establishments that will accept bitcoins as payments.

Well this is a welcome news. We are expecting nore merchants to do so and we will be seeing cryptocurrency transactions in Phillippines will flourish.Philippines os ripe enough for cryptocurrency in my opinion or maybe getting there.
224  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to preditct coin price? on: March 14, 2018, 02:46:00 PM
I think analysis is the key. A person cannot predict the coin price because it's very volatile, however, if you are good at logic and math, coupled with experiences in bitcoin trading, you can somehow grasp the movement of the price. Some people developed an instinct. Oviously it is sure that to complete a succesfull trade you must have a knowledge about crypto. When you want to buy a coin you need check their project  first, visit their ann thread, read their whitpaper and roadmap

To be specific, you need to learn technical analysis for betyer predictiob of prices. Technical Analysis deals with the support ang resistance ,trending, movung average and so forth. This  will help further and some sort of validation on your decission making. Though if the trade is manipulated, technical.analysis might not work.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people think that ETH can Overcome Bitcoin? on: March 14, 2018, 06:47:04 AM
In terms of marketcap BTC is still the king but in terms of functionality ETH is the best. Bitcoin is irreplaceable for being the top cryptocurrency demand in the market. Many erc-20 compatible tokens are traded with eth but most eth market are traded with bitcoin. So bitcoin is the base of all coins.

Yes, it is this functionality that makes bitcoin more valuable than bitcoin. Ethereum has its Dapps that creates demands for Ethereum, since its ethereum that is needed to send tokens in the form of GAS. Bitcoin has a bigger following too since its a pioneer crypto.
226  Economy / Economics / Re: Manny Pacquiao invests in cryptocurrency firm, is set to launch PAC Coin? on: March 14, 2018, 06:18:36 AM
Well not a surprise, now most celebrities has their  own cryptocurrency being supported. From Pot Coin of Rodman? to Steven  Seagull I think. With their popularity they can gather supporters with coins and can build a community with it. But, I hope they may have a tangible project behind so that this is not another case of pump and dump.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODLERS are preventing prices going down further on: March 14, 2018, 05:12:04 AM
it seems that these are the level where prices are not going to dump further downwards.... thanks to hodlers...
Actually it's also depend on the project it self. The coin will not have value if no one want to buy it or you can't do anything with those coins. If the project of those coin is still runs good then the price will not down. But the holders are also have important role in price stabilization of thoSe coin.

Yeah holders really play and help stabilization of some coins. Massive dumping of coins gives panic to investors how ever good your project is. This happens a lot when payments from bounties are unloaded into the market and all you can see is sell orders becoming lower, really kills the coins.

Of course, holders are the most supportive of a certain project. When someone hold,  the supplies becomes limited and prices will stabilizes or become expensive. Holders  has big  roles and I do believe they should be rewarded Smiley like what happens to ethereum, they have free tokens to holders. Also it is automatic to POS holders, they het rewarded as an interest if hold for a certain time.
228  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do we keep converting bitcoin back to dollars ? on: March 14, 2018, 05:00:31 AM
Converting back bitcoin to dollars may be because they are worried if bitcoin will fluctuate in lower price they're just playing safe.

Aside from that, dollar is still the king wherein almost all merchants accepts dollar. But maybe in the future when bitcoin is almost accepted by merchants, that is the time that we don't need to convert it back to dollar,  if we can directly transact with bitcoin. Also, not only  dollars, now several country has exchanges where you can convert  your bitcoin directly to their local currency.
229  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Working Abroad is a lot of sacrifice. on: March 14, 2018, 04:50:48 AM
1. Away from relatives and friends, deep in the foreign country, the time will feel lonely and empty, and cold!!!

2. Working directly abroad, without domestic accumulation, may be difficult to adapt after returning to China, and there is a disconnect.

It is difficult to adapt to the local diet, customs and climate.

At first you will feel lonely and empty. But in due course of time, you will be making new friends and very soon you will adjust with your life. And it is not that hard to adjust with the local cuisine and customs. I have done that a few years back and it hardly takes more than a few months.

Well as time goes buy you'll adjusted to your routine and job but still there is sorrows thinking about the family left in home country. Still, you can't compare your native country where you are born, where all people almost relatives living in one big  community. The happiness, the  important events and happenings in your family where you are not present and much more you missed.
230  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Before and After Bitcoin came on: March 13, 2018, 03:59:01 AM
How did you know bitcoin? Did it greatly influence your way of life now? Is it a game changer or just something temporary? Feel free to share your thoughts. I read but I don’t judge.
before the arrival of bitcoin I had tried some side business in order to get additional income. maybe because it is not sustenance, I always run aground in running the side business and even even lose money. I knew bitcoin in 2016, at that time there was a friend of mine who suddenly became a conversation because of his success earning big bits from bitcoin, from that I started to wonder, and immediately went to my friend to ask how to join bitcoin. That's where I got interested to explore bitcoin until now so I finally get additional income. Indeed it all needs a struggle and patience in this work.

Before bitcoin came, I am searching for more affiliates marketing online and any other means to to business. When bitcoin came, so much opportunity came. I learn how to become a trader, I discover campaigns, invests in some successful ICO's and above all, learn to pay and received money around the world fast. Its very easy and convenient to use.
231  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage / Easy money for new people on: March 13, 2018, 03:43:31 AM
In theory arbitrage is easy to do buy a coin and sell it in another a change for a bigger price, the reality is that arbitrage is one of the most difficult ways to make money in cryptocurrencies you have to deal with all kind of problems from scam exchanges, very slow withdrawals, know your customer verifications and that is just the tip of the iceberg, making money with arbitrage is not for newbies and should only be done by professionals with specialized software.

Thats correct, I have tried this several times and end up losing. As an advise when you arbitrage, make sure the wallet is online on each exchange. Sent first a small amount, if its ok then  you can proceed on bigger transactions. It happened that I buy a  huge amount and when I sent it, wallet from other site is on maintenance, it takes several weeks to recover and higher price gone down already. Hope this will give  a lessons to others too.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] FACETER – computer vision surveillance technology on: March 12, 2018, 11:29:20 PM
CCTV systems have long become part of our everyday life, but have a number of drawbacks in terms of storage and transmission of video series. This project using a distributed registry is the best suited for reliable and effective operation of video monitoring systems. I am sure that there will be a lot of investors and supporters of the FACETER!

There are more and more investors from day to day, I am waiting for the release of a fully working version and API, so that you can write your own software on this platform, which will undoubtedly greatly expand its adaptive capabilities.

Yeah, me too, I am excited to see how this platform will look like once it launched and how people will welcome this kind of platform. I am sure many will be curious and will try this.

You're right, a project which is very good for security purposes. As I watch their video, well no doubt at all as this project is legit which truly can be supported by many users here in the bitcoin forum. I'm hoping for the up coming bounty on this project.
Project's really look promising, if this will be really implemented properly, just like what their video is presenting to us, it can really change the field of security with regards to facial detection through computer vision surveillance technology.

I agree with @tophe15 . They a have a software product and this ICO's fund will augment to their development. This is a good project, whom I believe many will support. Devs are serious enough also, once they  get enough  funds more improvement and features will be added in my opinion.
233  Economy / Speculation / Re: Saving for your Children Bitcoin vs Cash? on: March 12, 2018, 11:21:15 PM
Between then maybe its 60 - 40 sharing. I will save for both, in crypto which is in bitcoin and in  fiat. Fiat is liquid and we can get it anytime if needed w hile for bitcoin its for long term wait  until my children  reach legal age or more. I am very optimistic that in the span of 20 years or more, bitcoin will be more popular and having more merchants accepting it.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Expected etherium prices by the end of 2018 on: March 12, 2018, 07:31:06 AM
yes, in the end of this year, ETH will rise to $ 2000, even more. because the price of ETH always follows the BTC price. BTC prices at the end of the year will reach $ 50000.

yes, I think you should invest in ETH now, otherwise you will not get benefit from ETH.

I think more than $2000 dollar for its new highest price. If $2000, that is merely  x2 of the currency price. I am expecting more possible x3 to x5 ATH. Other coins grows more than that last year like verge  etc.
235  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why are Americans so fat? on: March 12, 2018, 06:45:19 AM
Maybe Americans are more fat than in others countries, but believe me, if we continue to eat shitfood we will be all fat in one or 2 decades

Food is filled with a lot of artificial substancies that our metabolism doesn't tolerate.

The fast food culture is everywhere and this is the reason why we all will be fat soon if we don't change habits and improve our diet

I agree with you. Lifestyle and the unhealthy food they eat really  a big factor. Foods that mostly fats and oils plus those artificial flavorings and other chemically altered ingredients or GMO foods. It alters the bodies metabolism which resulted to such medical conditions and other disease. Better to eat more veggies and ingredients you grow  so that you know its free from chemicals.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whitepaper on: March 12, 2018, 06:16:41 AM
you can read concept the project like

1. time pre sale
2. time of the main sale
3. end of main sale
3. total supply
4. price token ico
4. team of developers
5. roadmap project

I think that's all you need to read in white paper

Yes, we have same point of view wherein we only look to this part carefully, the funny habit of me is to check the face of the developer and making decisions if the project is okay or so-so, (don't judge the book by its cover) but I like looking on the voice if it's worthwhile before opening it to read.

A whitepaper is like a summary of the project how they will do it and the specifications are detail in there. They  may include a study or research, why their solution to the existing problem is needed etc. For me I check their developers, their background and viability of the project in real time applications.
237  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: March 12, 2018, 03:34:15 AM
When saving, spend only on what is needed, Do not spend because you want it, after your craving is satisfied and lost interest on said  item you throw it or just left anywhere. But if you bought what is necessary needed, you'll used it until it deteriorates. Also when budgeting, subtract first your savings and what is left will be budgeted. That is a force savings.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop? on: March 12, 2018, 03:24:23 AM
airdrop is a way to introduce token to the public at large free of charge and usually just follow telegram and social media, then we just wait for the division only, but if bounty we have to list and share postings from social media program and takes a fairly long time. so if you want to quickly get a token can follow both ways

Both. I earn some tokens from airdrop too and some become valuable. But  now, there are many  bogus project that seems to be legit. Always be careful when giving your important details esp your email. So far bounty is a good option, most project is planned and  raising funds in a good way. Hope you review bounty program and the project behind before joining also.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have You Been Scammed? on: March 12, 2018, 03:04:55 AM
Yes, by another member of this forum when I tried to purchase an altcoin from him. Sent him my BTC (a low amount thank goodness) and never got my tokens.
It was a stupid mistake on my part as I was a newbie, didn't know about escrow services and relied on the ranking system to trust the user.
The only advice would be, take the time to do your research. Don't act in a rush. If something sounds too good to be true, then you might want to be careful.
Oh, that is an unfortunate experience. Hope that incident will make you very suspicious for future transaction online especially from someone anonymous on the net. Me too got scammed before but from HYIP's, since I am still a newbie. Thanks for bitcointalk, I learned a lot here.,
240  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Should I get a hardware wallet ? on: March 06, 2018, 09:40:50 PM

Only 3 options  og  hardware wallet as of now trezzor ,ledger  and another one which is new.
