161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will China Accept Bitcoin As A Currency? on: January 01, 2020, 04:09:24 PM
I believe that China has adopted the blockchain. As for the cryptocurrency Bitcoin, China will accept Bitcoin and Bitcoin will be associated with China. There are other cryptocurrencies that China must accept.
I think you are wrong because Blockchain technology has many advantages not only cryptocurrency. Moreover Bitcoin is already limited in China(buy/ sell, mining) so it's really hard for Bitcoin to be accepted there.
162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: NEVER EVER deal Bitcoins with PAYPAL (F&F too!) on: January 01, 2020, 02:54:24 PM
I sold my Bitcoins through Paypal Friends and Family payment thinking it would be "safe".
I was TOTALLY wrong.
The scammer issued a chargeback claiming it as "unauthorized purchase".
I sent all the chat logs and the screenshot of the Paypal payment from the buyer and the receipt from Paxful including PGP signature, but I doubt if I will ever win.
Feels so sad that this BS has happened in the end of the year.
I'm stuck between either paying the chargeback or closing my bank account and debit card, never using Paypal again.
I got my Paypal account limited after selling Bitcoin because the buyer requested a dispute. I tried to send all proofs but the buyer won and i lost my money.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the lowest transaction fee bitcoin wallet? on: January 01, 2020, 09:44:17 AM
Many of you will say blockchain wallet. I use blockchain wallet.
But if we talk about transaction fees,
Its most of the times we have seen goes too high,if we have to send on high priority.

If we talk about Binance, it has minimum withdrawal fee of approx. 0.0005 BTC, approx. $3.00-$5.00

I don't think that Blockchain.com wallet transaction is high because i can adjust it for each transactions. It is better than fixed fee. You have to accpet the high fee if you want your transaction to be confirmed fastly.
164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: December 31, 2019, 05:02:49 PM
I define a good exchange is to look at the service and the amount of fees they offer. If the service is good and the feats are not too expensive, this is a good category for me. Because surely there will be many traders who will use this exchanger so that the trading volume there will increase
I think you shouldn't just look at the fees they offer. Many good exchanges have high fees because their server are expensive or their service worth it. Money make people work more productive Cheesy

168  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: handling bitcoin volatility on: December 30, 2019, 04:01:51 PM
There is only one weapon that can be used to treat such bitcoin volatilities and that is patience.
With patience you will be able to wait for the sudden drops to recover and hence your portfolio won't be affected because of bitcoin volatility.
And I seriously mean it when I say you must have patience it means you must tolerate the negative % until it becomes positive.
Exactly, patience is very important to protect yourself from Bitcoin suddence move. In this situation, people often make wrong decisions like cut loss too early.
169  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you start trading? on: December 30, 2019, 01:44:09 PM

170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fight against Bitcoin is coming. Are we ready?! on: December 30, 2019, 11:46:13 AM
Recently Brett Sherman was nominated to chair of Investor Protection, Entrepreneurship and Capital Markets. He will surely have the power to influence bills that can get introduced into Congress. He has been incredibly anti-bitcoin and will surely try to pass bills that will stifle the growth of the industry. Also recently BIS head has been advocating Central Banks begin to use digital currencies for themselves. This will surely play out as a way to out-compete crypto.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-12-05/bis-wants-central-banks-at-center-of-digital-cash-revolution

Discussion: How can they community rally together for what is to come? Are we ready for when governments restrict / sanction any capital flow into exchanges? How prepared are we for these things?
The fight against Bitcoin has already started since the governments realized how powerful is Bitcoin. However Bitcoin is still alive and grown up. Bitcoin cannot be defeated as long as we keep using it.
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many of you are Satoshi Millionaire? on: December 29, 2019, 03:47:06 PM
Satoshi Millionaire is one, who has 1 million Satoshi, i.e. 0.01 BTC.

There was a time when new entrants wanted to reach goal of 21 BTC, i.e. one in a million. Then it became Satoshi Billionaire, i.e. 10 BTC. Then 21 million club, i.e. 1 BTC. Now, owning 1 BTC is difficult and being a Satoshi Millionaire is the new goal.
I think 100 millions satoshi club is more meaningful. When i was a newbie, my goal was to own 1 million Satoshi by doing free tasks, offers and now it is 10 BTC Cheesy. I am still working hard to make it become real.
172  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: December 29, 2019, 02:35:20 PM
Hello to all the Bitcointalkers!

Because it is my first post, I have, at least, to present myself in several words. I am a coins/tokens dev and web developer full stack.
After several years of crypto experience, I decided to create my own project. It is not a coin, nor a token (there is already plenty of ERC20 tokens and coins), it is a cryptocurrency exchange.

There is already some exchanges available on the web, but I would like to build one which may fit to Bitcointalk users, it's why I opened this thread, and ask you today what do you like the most in crypto exchanges, as well as the things that you dislike. It can be specific features, themes, properties...
I want to build a good exchange, and for that I need to know your preferences.

Waiting for your replies Smiley
Lugdunex
Based on this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3028322.0, these are top features that people want from an exchange: Cold storage of coins, Availability/up-time, Anonymity and Fiat currencies. In my opinion, a good exchange should has good security (2fa authencation for example).
173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you need to become a successful trader? on: December 29, 2019, 02:17:59 PM
Hello guys, I'm here because am so lost and confused about this whole thing of trading bitcoin or any other market as forex, stocks ...... first, when i started trading bitcoin it because i heard and saw many people talking about it and that you can make a lot of money. I mean yeah at first i made some profits by buying small amounts of bitcoin in Yobit then selling it again when the price goes up, but when day when the bitcoin went down i lost a lot of money.
I didn't quit trading but i moved to forex market. And as all they say technical analysis is the key to win in this market and there's many youtubers showing their money by trading forex anyway I'm not sure of it. The problem lately i watched some people saying that technical analysis is bullshit and I'm really confused

What i want to know is how can i become a successful trader and make money for the rest of my life. Should i learn technical analysis or harmonic patterns......
And which is the best market to trade for a beginner.

When Bitcoin price goes down and you don't want to lose money then the best solution is holding.
Technical analysis is very important to be a successful trader, it gives you the best strategy for current market.

I am unsure about what I am doing and need help please fix your website so this link

https://fapcoin.cc/threads/fap-faucet-script-multi-coin-short-link-antibotlinnks.2/

When I go to main.php it looks very ugly. I have not set up the database or the config though. Could this be why?
You should configure the database and base url before going to main.php, PHP errors could break the template.
Could you pm me your faucet url?
176  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How do you avoid high withdrawal fees from exchanges? on: December 28, 2019, 04:15:48 PM
Sup guys,

Nowadays the fees to withdraw from exchanges are getting higher and higher, 0.001-0.002 BTC per transaction which is outrageous for a day trader with small trading capital.I'm asking the most experienced of you,do you have any tricks to avoid these fees? I thought of converting the BTC to another altcoin with low withdraw fees and then use another instant changer like SimpleSwap to reconvert again, but is it really sustainable? You tell me. Smiley
I think there is no other solution except converting your BTC into altcoins then withdraw and reconvert again. I am using Yobit which have high BTC withdrawal fee so i often exchange BTC to LTC then withdraw to Binance and convert again.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP BUYING BITCOIN NOW!!! This coin is crap on: December 28, 2019, 02:17:13 PM
Bitcoin is a total worthless coin that is controlled by chinese miners that hate you.

Bitcoin cant do anything that ethereum can do much better.

Bitcoin is worthless and only paid shills like tone vays or antonopulus are promoting this crap coin so you can lose your money on it.

Proove me wrong before delete my thread- and what happened to free speech bitcointalk moderators?  are you paid to be chinese?

Bitcoin isnt a coin anymore for the people but it became a chinese company

stop bitcoin now
Please prove how Chinese miners control Bitcoin not ETH? Bitcoin is the most trusted - oldest cryptocurrency. Many Chinese mining company has moved to another country due to Chinese law.

179  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto Exchange with the smallest credit card fee on: December 28, 2019, 03:49:19 AM
If I would like to buy btc on a credible exchange with my credit card (visa, mastercard..), which one would you suggest? so many different fees that is hard to calculate everything. Is there any stats which one would be the best option?
If you want to buy small amount then Coinbase is a good option. The fee is as low as 3.99% but there is a buying limitation. You will need to verify your identity before making a order.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Vending machines that use Bitcoin on: December 28, 2019, 03:22:52 AM
Now that it's possible to send instant transactions at a fraction of the cost using Bitcoin's Lightning Network, I'm starting to wonder whenever we'll be able to see vending machines accepting Bitcoin someday?

For years, we've been accustomed to vending machines which accept physical cash above all else. A Bitcoin vending machine that would use the Lightning Network would turn out to be quite revolutionary for many businesses in the mainstream world. It'll be even better than paying with physical cash. This would also benefit the Lightning Network in terms of adoption worldwide. I'm sure that someone is already working on this in order to make our lives easier than ever.

What are your thoughts? Is the Lightning Network ready to be used on vending machines, or is it too early to tell? ??
Vending machines that use Bitcoin is a great idea, it helps storing money safer and brings a convenient way for buyers to purchase. However, many countries like VietNam don't accept cryptocurrency  as a payment method so people here have to wait until Bitcoin is a legal payment method.
