hard to say what will happen in 2019 with NEO , i have read somewhere that chinese people see NEO as their ethereum , if it is , all can happen , we are in crypto Let's say that many criticisms have been made of his blockchain in recent months, since it is proposed to be just Chinese ethereum, but even if it has network and wallet problems, I would not say that we can declare it dead. The fork was successful. Other spawned Sia like coins require the building of wallets before they can be claimed, and will likely not be on exchanges for some time. |

A question regarding (new) interest claiming process: One needs to claim interest once every month. What is the exact time frame to make a valid claim? Do one need to claim exactly between the first and last day of the month, or within 30 days after a last claim?
There is nothing specific. I usually claim every time my interest reaches over 10 kmd so that i get interest on the claimed TX also. \ i just claim every day. fuckit.. why wait? Too much paper work for me as this income is taxable where I live, so I claim once a week and update my income for the week in my spreadsheet. I do the same thing for other claimable coins like GAS and ONG. For POS coins I just record income once a week as I can't control the income via claims. |

To the contrary, I think the SC price may rise, perhaps substantially in the longer term. This is because the miners of the pre-forked version are more likely to mine for profit and sell the coins shortly after mining. On the other-hand those that bought the Obelisk mining rigs, that will be used after the fork, are more likely to be SC supporters and less likely to dump the coins. Of course I have no crystal ball and anything can happen in crypto. |

for SC we have to upgrade to the last one, I got that, will Sia Classic use some of the earlier SC version of the wallet or they bill make their own new wallet (UI)?
A Sia Classic would need to build their own wallet, but don't expect much value from such coins for years if ever. |

I will not predict the price but would like clear the thought in the mind of people behind such high price predictions. It is actually seems difficult because we are used to watch thing using current marketcap and focus on the market which is being predicted. NEO is big project with plenty of support and if in few years trillions dollars market cap is achieved NEO also can be at few times of its current price.
Yea, it is very difficult to speculate on price, but glad to see they are working hard and the whole system is growing by leaps and bounds. |

Decred is not based in the US, the devs are pretty decentralized, the last i checked there were 25 devs listed on the contributor page of decred website. it is a decentralized project like bitcoin which nobody can shut it down. Decred IS developing privacy feature in private so not many actually knows how it will be. But the standard of decred work is pretty high. till its ready to roll out we just gotta wait and see.

Hopefully NEO is working with China to help draft these standards, so NEO passes the standards test. China always wants to support their home grown technology, so it wouldn't surprise me. DA Hongfei has talked with them in the past. |

Lately i've noticed a big drop off in my staking rewards, like maybe down 30-40% from the number I was getting 3 months ago, has there been a large increase in the proportion of coins staking? Has anyone else had a similar drop? I'm using a staking pool, so my tickets are online all the time.
Maybe the pool you use has reduced the number of servers. I use https://stake.decredbrasil.com which charges a "high" fee, but the quality is excellent. Recently they increased the number of servers and the users are commenting that who has 10 tickets has around 1 ticket voted every 1 or 2 days in the latest weeks. This pool is already working with ticket splitting I don't see how the # of servers has anything to do with winning a ticket. I would think they just need high uptime so you don't miss any tickets if they win. More servers positioned in the right places decreases latency I don't think a difference in latency impacts voting chances as long as the servers rarely miss. |

It was LISKHQ first priority to fix the dynamic fees right after the core 1.0 release. Iker has his strategy ready to do this. Guess it will be fixed soon as promised.
dynamic fees should come with core 2.0 so it can take 6 months or longer. what is latest version? 1.2 is latest and they are working on 1.3 now. but do they know how to do dynamic fees? do they know how to do sidechains? this can mean another delay. i hope i am wrong and they do it fast and good. They don't need to know how to do dynamic fees, Ark already have it. Ark already have dynamic fees in Ark V.2 which is out on DevNet. Lisk is just a copy of Ark in every corners of Ark research. Everything you see and hear on Ark soon or later you will see Lisk trying to do(copy) it. This is no joke. Now they're just waiting for sidechain or anything similar from Ark and call it a done deal. You do know that Ark is a fork of Lisk right? |

Fine, I will take the free airdrops, but I'm not registering for any of them. Outside of Ontology every other airdrop I have received has been for a worthless untradable coin. Typically these orgs, issue 1 Billion coins and distribute 1% through an airdrop, big deal. |

If Lisk will release Sidechains it will be a Top-10-Coin. There's no doubt about it.
But their developers really need to speed up. Lisk needs more developers and scientists.
Until then I will accumulate.
It is not easy to develop what they are doing here. They are making steady progress. These are German engineers, so putting out a bug free quality product is near the top of their list. |
