1601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: October 24, 2017, 07:27:58 AM
Yes but looking over twitter and reddit comments it may not go as smoothly as expected a lot of users are angry about this and the miners seem to like the old EDA so "could" create a community split like ETH & ETC this was born from differences over an official upgrade

You guys are always complaining the one big miner mines the majority of blocks.
Well whichever way that miner picks is the way that the network will go.

So which difficulty adjustment they prefer will be chosen.
Everyone else can just shutup unless they have a warehouse full of ASICS that can outmatch the big miner, (who has supported Bitcoin Cash from Day 1.)

ASICS Talk  &  Bullshit walks
(The Way Satoshi intended.)

* I be more worried that segwitcoin falls into a death spiral when 2x appears and the hash is split between 3 chains. *
Whether the EDA is still in place or a new difficulty adjustment, either way Bitcoin Cash has a difficulty adjustment.
Shitwitcoin has no difficulty adjustment in place to stop a death spiral.

╥Aztek

I would worry more that the cash miners support B2X more and jump over leaving cash dead like all the other failed forks before it (classic, xt, unlimited)

The Segwit2x futures only put at at around 1.5 BTC or ~$900 so far its not looking like much of a threat but it it does succeed we still have all our coins on the other chain

Also the miners are trying to force the EDA right now (one reduction is already guaranteed to happen)

You're missing the point, investors, traders, miners, coders, developers, users: everyone involved in cryptocurrencies is being screwed with every new blockchains released, pure and simple. Take bch for instance, it has dropped 23% since July.

Agree, BCH price keeps dropping since it started. No wonder it will happen again now. I just dont get it why they are still doing this hard fork etc.
But still those coins have value now. Thats the only best thing that happened. I wish bch will recover its original value or will increase in the coming months.
1602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PoS] USDStake - 100% Free Airdrop Distribution. on: October 24, 2017, 05:48:04 AM
Hey dev, don't you think you are exceeding with the creation of all these useless coins? How many have you already created? Five, six, seven? You are losing credibility to any form of airdrop. Please stop!
At least 8 Smiley So he lost all credibility long ago. Just copypasting coins for the sole purpose of airdropping and forgetting them afterwards.

I see you are still lurking and following the threads...that's a good sign.

More and more coins are getting listed on exchanges, and new users coming in everyday.

Coins definitely not abandoned and everyone still receiving airdrops to this day.

Check all the Dev balances with coins listed on exchanges, have not dumped a single coin.

Yeah, nice project dev and you are really active in developing new coins. I wish those coins will achieve hig value in the coming days. Lots are participating in the airdrops. I hope you success with all this new coins. I already downloaded all the wallets and joined your airdrops.
Please update us regularly with the new announcements. Good luck.
1603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP][BOUNTY] EUROBITS || EURO IN BLOCKCHAIN || DECENTRALIZED on: October 24, 2017, 05:43:04 AM

I cannot access the site. Is it down now or maintenance? For bounty and airdrops what info do you need? Much better if all details will be posted in this ann thread. Is this really legit? Any update about your project now?
1604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PoS] EuroStake - 100% Free Airdrop Distribution. on: October 24, 2017, 04:53:20 AM
Hi Dev, participants in the list exceeded 3000. Can we still received the airdrops? Im hoping to be included in the list. I already pm you my wallet address. I like your project and I'll be supporting this project until it will become popular in the future. By the way is there any plan to open a bounty program for this project?
1605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is how my 7 bitcoins at coinbase got hacked on: October 24, 2017, 04:30:30 AM
I am posting this in case other people may confront the same situation and could possible avoid it. Also check out what a role coinbase is playing here.

I have a bitcoin account on coinbase and was not able to login however I tried. I got my password correct, but coinbase did not allow login by saying that it was a new device. Coinbase just kept sending me an email for me to verify the new device through the link. Nothing just happens after that and it was a loop of communications leading to nowhere. I tried the verification process by pretending that I do not have the 2-factor verification and try to provide my driver license to verify my account. It accepted my information, but still no result after two week's waiting.

There was no phone number that I could see in this whole process. Today, I tried googling "coinbase phone number". It popped up with two numbers. The first one was authentic, but it will ask you if your account is compromised. If yes press 1. My account was ok at that time and I kept waiting. Then the voice said the volume is high and hanged me off not allowing me to continue to wait. After several times of calling the first number without success, I continued to try the second number (888-4551155) and it went through after several minute's wait.

So I called to solve the problem. The tricky part is that they were able to help me log in! I have NO IDEA how they are able to log in! We were back to the page where the coinbase said that I was a new device and need to verify through email. Then the hackers had some code that claimed to be the "coinbase secrete seed". I do not know why they have such code and why this code could help me log in. I have been so desperate in the recent months and was so happy that finally I got into the system and see my account. Then they took control of the account and sent my coins to their own address. The transaction could be seen here. https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/tx/f0ae7669a0115b53129657d4a2b0ca2f9c730b0835e4848e8cea7743ffb1f7e8/ The bitcoin address that they used was 19n12cDwyfmf6ZpjxGJVvRuZL9BEPdq6Xy

I know I am stupid to be scammed, but there is one question I have no answer: while I was not able to log into coinbase myself by trying all the options that is provided by coinbase, the hacker were able to log in by using some secrete seed. I do not know what that is, but he should have some partial security information about coinbase. I called coinbase about this, it seems they are redundant to take responsibility for the fact that they are allowing other people to help me login. The funny thing is that when I called them, they ask me to press button 1 if you think your account has been compromised. So this time of course I pushed 1 and finally get through after one hour wait on line. Now the true customer service picked up, and after checking my balance to be zero and just asked me: "do you want to close your account?". They do not really care to know what happened!

Hope they can investigate this, because the hackers will do it again. If they can log in coinbase for me, they can do it again and again. When you google "coinbase phone number", their number is still showing up.

Sorry to hear that. 7 bitcoins is a huge amount. Lesson learned and you need to be more cautious and extra careful next time. Im hoping you can earn again that amount in a short time. Hackers are everywhere. Last time my MEW also got hacked. Im thankful that my Mew has only small tokens that time. Nothing is safe online so we better be more careful always.
1606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: October 24, 2017, 04:20:50 AM
I don't have any regrets in bitcoin but I am thankful instead. I am thankful in a way that it helps me financially.I am.using my bitcoins in sending money to my family and pay my bills. So no regrets , just thankful.
I also do not have any regret. although I missed a lot of good chances for making good money, but I think chances always comes and go I should keep prepare myself for the next chance, because bitcoin is always giving us good chances to make money and hopefully that it will  continue for a long long time.

You're lucky guys clearly. I have a big regret. Before BCH fork, I didn't buy bitcoin for $1.800 and it jumped to $3.000 after 10 days from that day. I was gonna buy 2 bitcoins, this means I missed $2.400 pure profit.

Me, my biggest regret is when I withdraw all my earned btc in our local currency. That time I almost earned 3 btc. Years passed when I always think of it I regret what I did before. The value of 3 btc can buy a real state now in our country. Anyway, Lets just moved on. Good thing is its never too late to earned bitcoin and surely will get profit in the near future.
1607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when bitcoins are lost on: October 24, 2017, 04:15:33 AM
When you loses wallet, it has the effect of removing money out of circulation. Lost bitcoins still remain in the block chain just like any other bitcoins. However, lost bitcoins remain dormant forever because there is no way for anybody to find the private key(s) that would allow them to be spent again. Because of the law of supply and demand, when fewer bitcoins are available, the ones that are left will be in higher demand and increase in value to compensate.

It's lost forever. The more people who lose Bitcoin are effectively giving it more value.

Is there really no other chance to recover it? Well even though they've lost a wallet they will still have contributed in increasing the value of BTC. Now I know one of the reasons why btc is getting more popular. I just hope there will be a way to recover lost wallet in the near future. It's really sad if those wallets has a huge amount of btc.
1608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Minimum fee to transfer bitcoin on: October 23, 2017, 01:48:34 PM
The minimum amount of money to make your transaction goes through the blockchain is aprox 0.0005 at the moment (less than 3 dollars) and that is not much money if you think about it, you are only paying three dollars or less only to send a payment.. there is a lot of people complaining about it, but i dont understand why, because that amount is nothing compared to the  fees that you have to pay for a bank wire (much more than $25 each)
so it is fine for me, you can send less than that amount, but your transaction will take an eternity.

It's a big deal for newbies who earned that amount in claiming faucets or doing some task. Also $3 in some country like in ours can buy foods or clothes already. But if you are transferring high amount of btc thrn 0.0005 is really not a big deal. I just hope transactions fees will be lowered in the near future like altcoins.
1609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XLM] Stellar - Decentralized trading platform on: October 22, 2017, 01:44:31 PM
will stellar bounce back? i am newbie and would like to get rich with stellar. thanks

Yes, the rebound will be, only in the other direction, I want to buy a little, waiting for the price of 200 sat  Smiley

What makes you think XLM will dump to 200 sats?

Maybe it will dump lower again if they will give away again a huge amount of free lumens. Im hoping they will not do that again. Since June Im holding my xlm because of that last give away it goes down to a very low amount. I wish this will be a good start again for xlm to achieve continues high amount.

BlackCoin is getting popular now and listed in large exchangers but its value is still very low up to now. Is there any new plan about this project? Upon reading last page post some members are arguing now. I think it's better to post some informative post than posting nonsense words here. You are not helping the project. Anyway, Im just expressing my opinion. K. Bye.
1611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: October 22, 2017, 01:25:08 PM
with ICN it's blood on the street, this is the perfect moment for buying.

Yes keep buying until you run out of money  Cheesy before continuing to buy should see the situation in the future at this time btc prices continue to rise and disrupt altcoin prices including ICN prices, BTC is not yet stable must wait after 25 october.

Yeah, eeryone should be cautious in buying coins with decreasing rate. We can never say if they can recover and achieve high price again. But Im still hoping ICN will rise again soon. Maybe after Oct 25 there will be some changes again in the flow of cryptos value.

1613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: VOISE - Revolution of the music industry on: October 22, 2017, 01:15:55 PM
Glad to see part of the community which is being developed totally under radar. Every time I see Voise I am more and more reasons to get excited about the future. It still need time but one with eyes on the facts and features being developed can see where it will be in few months. All this wait will worth for the gain.
I am glad to see Voise development is still active and can show patents to us. However Voise still has not shown their true fangs. Like the new Voise Token which still looks not so valuable.

I agree, maybe they are just carefully planning how to improve this project. Lets just see what will be the improvements in the coming days. I wish that dev will open again a give away for those newbies who failed to participate. Good luck dev. Hoping for more feautures to come.

1000$     500$     pretty stupid "valuations"....

If Electroneum hits 20cents a coin one day I will be very happy!!!

Yeah, the price will surely start in a low amount then eventually it will up and up. I hope Electroneum wil be a successful project .
Also hope it will be included in large exchanges.
1616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: October 22, 2017, 10:09:08 AM
Nope I dont buy any more Bitcoin, I just dont earn enough money to
invest some in Bitcoin anymore because its value is so high.
$20 investment wouldnt get much and with fees etc. it really is too little.

Me too, I dont buy anymore the price is too high now. I just earn some btc through faucets and doing some task. Im just hoping that all the small amount I earned will get high value in the near future. Maybe I'll buy soon if I'll have enough money for investment.
1617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ENT] Eternity - X11 - No Premine on: October 21, 2017, 03:18:26 PM

1618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PREANN] Xenio Blockchain | 🌟🌟🌟 Decentralized Gaming Platform 🌟🌟🌟 on: October 21, 2017, 02:48:04 PM
The idea is nice, but I'm wondering how you are going to compete with the giant called Steam. Of course there are advantages in your project, but it will take a lot of time to attract Steam users to your project. Anyways, everything is possible. Wish you luck, guys

It won't happen overnight, that much we know - but it really all comes down to the price of the platform. Steam reportedly takes between 30-40% of revenues from all game sales just for distribution, so game developers end up making a lot less money for their effort than they could if they distributed their games themselves. Other centralized blockchain projects take 10%, which is better, but still not ideal. Our aim is to create an open platform where game devs can sell their games for little to no cost, with no commissions, and on a platform where they control the game licensing in a way that fits their own business model, not Steam's business model.

We believe that our open platform will attract game devs for this reason, and since the addition of more games will attract gamers, which in turn makes the platform more valuable to developers again, we end up with a positive feedback loop that eventually reaches a critical mass where the amount we have to spend on marketing to gaming developers approaches zero. If the games are there, the gamers will follow, so it's just a matter of doing as much as we can to make the platform easy to use and easy to integrate into the games that the game developers want to make.

Well said. There will be a possibilty that you will beat it or will be as popular as them by improving your project and make it easy to use it without spending a lot of money. And also by adding more feautures that are not available with the other competiors. Goodluck to your project. Wish you success in the near future.
1619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: October 21, 2017, 02:43:12 PM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.
People who dont know about bitcoins may hate it.They may raise their doubts about security of investments in bitcoins. In their life, they would have come across many such economical innovations which turned to be scam. They may relate bitcoins with such scam projects. But we have to explain them what exactly bitcoin is and how it has crossed its early stage to reach today's price of $1100.If they still talk against bitcoins, then it would be better to leave them as they are. When they realize about bitcoins in future, they may regret.

Agree, we cant force others to believe us and force them to invest in bitcoin. If they dont like it then let it be. They'll surely regret it in the near future, maybe that time bitcoin is already known worldwide and the price of bitcoin will be hard to buy.
1620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: October 21, 2017, 02:40:07 PM
No one knows how long bitcoin will exist. Dont think of the future instead focus on what is happening now. Bitcoin showed its potential, and its value contineously increasing. Start rolling your fund, invest now.

It is just the start of the reign of bitcoin. Dont look at the end yet as the market is still fresh and I know it will last a minimum of decade like the fiat did. We can also see that we are on the bullish trend and lots of people are now getting into bitcoin(some are just curious and afraid of getting in as the price of bitcoin is high enough for them not to invest)

Yes, bitcoin is just rising and I cant see when this will be end. Lets just focus today and invest for tommorow as bitcoin price will go up and up in the near future.
