Barcelona are broke, I read that they are close to bankruptcy. There is no way they will be spending big money this summer especially with the financial uncertainty in football due to covid.

They will not be able to even make any profit from Messi's possible transfer this summer as teams can sign him without any transfer fee. I really wonder what they will do if they lose Messi because they will probably have much bigger problems if they can't prevent Messi from leaving.

It's won't be the end for Barcelona if ever that happens. Yeah they might fall of the table but they will still be competitive assuming that they still keep all their players on contract and only Messi will be leaving, they still have a lot of good players left in the team like Griezman and De Jong which as compared to other players from any La Liga teams is more than above average in terms of skill. If Barcelona will find a way not to hurt with their roster I think they can make it through next season financially.

It is not the end of the world of course if it happens. In the end, Messi will retire even if he doesn't leave. They should be able to think about something that will keep the team as strong as possible in the future. Besides, Messi has made an incredible contribution to the team so far with his goals and assists (21 goals, 8 assists in 30 matches).

After 10 years Inter may win his first trophy this year, it is not over yet and they have the payment situation ongoing but at this point, they can only lose the Scudetto.

If Milan make it, it will also be a very meaningful championship for them as they haven't been the champions for a very long time too. It seems like Juventus won't be able to join the race. Finally we will be able to see a different champion after 9 years of Juve dominance.  Grin
1623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: February 21, 2021, 11:34:35 PM
The big competition for the championship is going on more especially between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid right now as Barcelona got a draw against Cadiz. But of course there are still many games to be played and everything can happen. I believe Barcelona will join them in the next matches and the competition will be fired up more.
1624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 21, 2021, 11:30:39 PM
Even though I am an Arsenal supporter, I admit that Manchester City deserved to win and the possibility of winning the Premier League this season.
Manchester City played very much to dominate and created more chances, so it was natural to win the game. But I appreciate Arsenal players who have
tried hard, and conceded just one goal by City is good enough in my opinion. With the quality of Arsenal players that are different from Manchester City,
it is very difficult for Arsenal to beat City.
Yes, this Manchester City will be very difficult to stop on the way to the championship, because there are big doubts that the nearest pursuers in the face of Manchester United and Leicester will be able to oppose something. By the way, Manchester City have not lost in the league since November, when they lost to Tottenham. And where is Tottenham now and where is City now Wink

They are like they won't stop anytime soon and the point difference is already 10 which is incredibly good for them. Although there are still thirteen matches, it looks like City already guaranteed the championship if we look at it from a reasonable aspect.

I don't also give any chance for Manchester Utd to pay Pogba's astronomical release clause. They are thinking Valverde for Pogba's place but it is still not clear if Pogba will leave the club this summer or not. Pogba's market value is €65m now which is €70m for Valverde. When it comes to a swap between Pogba and Valverde, I know that Real Madrid are very interested in Pogba and it makes the possibility of a swap higher.

I thought Pogba was returning to Juventus? Or maybe Pirlo feels he will not be able to control so many big personalities at the club as he seems to have trouble right now dealing with them already,,,

Whatever it is. I wish for United to spend ALL their money;)

There is not a certain information about what he wants to do this summer actually.  Grin  I'd also like to see him at Juventus playing with Ronaldo. But there are many good players in their midfield position and this transfer can't be very reasonable. They can have important problems to deal with like you said.

Tomorrow Liverpool will play against Everton... Judging from the last matches Everton are not in the best shape to face Liverpool!
True, Everton have one game in hand and I think they are motivated to win...
I am sure we will have an interesting match!

Liverpool lost their last 3 matches in the EPL but finally got a win in the CL and it should give them a great deal of confidence to break their losing streak in the league too. Everton on the other hand also didn't win in their last 3 matches in the EPL. They had a bad performance again vs City. In the Merseyside derby, I see Liverpool as closer to getting a win.
1628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: February 19, 2021, 12:41:20 PM
Now they are just one game behind Real with 6 point difference (could have been Cool and same games against Barca with 9 point difference.
9 points as a difference, it is a big difference, not a small one. Barcelona almost are out of Champions League so they will have only La Liga to play and fight for a title in this season. They will want to win it but will their internal problems won't be broken more after the defeat against PSG? If it won't be broken more and Koeman can tighten the team to fight for La Liga, Atletico Madrid need to be careful with every match they lose points.

If Koeman fails with the task, Atletico Madrid will have only one opponent, Real Madrid in La Liga for the title competition.

If the PSG defeat doesn't demoralize Barcelona in La Liga, I think that they will continue to fight awesomely. They have a 7-win streak in La Liga and they'd better keep up this performance not to lose their chance for the championship earlier than expected.

There are only 2 days left for the huge Milan-Inter game in San Siro. We can even see a much more excited game compared to the game between them before in this season. Because we are getting close to the end of the league and there is a big rivalry between these two now. I think this time the result will be a tie.

It was painful to watch Barcelona lose but that Dortmund win cheered my day. Haaland and Mbappe's performances were spectacular. I wonder where will Haaland go next season, clearly Dortmund can't hold him more. Maybe Real Madrid make a move for him, they need a good striker.

I didn't get to watch the match between Barcelona and PSG, but when I saw the results it really surprised me. What's wrong with Barcelona? how come they were humiliated by PSG which in that match were the guests. Did they play very badly in that match?

Barcelona were literally helpless against PSG. Even Messi couldn't do anything in such situation. Mbappe made a hat-trick and had an awesome game for sure. I was also surprised by the huge score. Now, I'm more confident that Messi will certainly leave the team this summer.  Grin

According to rumours, Manchester Utd are interested in Real Madrid's 22-year-old young and talented midfielder Federico Valverde. He has scored 3 goals and made 1 assist in 20 games so far. He could be a good transfer for Manchester Utd but I'd like him to stay at Real Madrid. I like watching him there.

@ILuckyGuyI even I have been reading about this transfer, and it’s being speculated that Manchester United will propose a swap deal for him and Pogba. However if that swap deal fails, then I don’t expect Manchester United to pay his release clause which is around £148m.

AC Milan is strong enough this season and stable at the same time. Inter Milan is a very good team. However, I think Ac Milan has the potential to beat Inter Milan. In my opinion, the two teams are almost the same strength. Any team has a chance to win the match against each other.

AC Milan beat Inter Milan, because is strong in mind.. Inter Milan have some trouble with wage, owner, is a fucking mess.. and Antonio Conte is a stupid kid..
and AC Milan have a truck: Ibraimovich Smiley is a train in this season.. ahaha

Ibrahimovic is incredible despite his age. He is like a machine and it feels like he will never stop playing great. 14 goals in 12 Serie A matches...  He is surely one of the players who I love watching the most. He is literally carrying Milan to the championship and I think that Milan deserve to be champions more than Inter.

Sad to say, a large portion of our games channel quit broadcasting this occasion after the leaving of Ronaldo. I can just watch it live on Facebook with bad quality.
After the loosing of Ronaldo, the majority of my family members quit viewing the occasion.
I additionally don't watch different matches or supporting the group like Betis, Getafe, or Sevilla.
The expectation we'll see him on the next occasion.

Atletico vs Levante is on Feb 20 and Atletico also have a Champions League match vs Chelsea on Feb 23. Perhaps they might want to rotate the squad a little before the huge CL game. Still, I don't think Atletico will lose points again vs Levante. This time, they will win it.

I was surprised that dortmund managed to win against sevilla given the fact that the bvb was performing so bad in the last weeks.
Even though it started as i feared with the early lead of sevilla dortmund managed to equalize soon and even took the lead. Haarland is just a weapon in the offensive.
I still think though that sevilla still has a good chance to move on because the bvb is just not stable.

Dortmund actually didn't have more impressive statistics compared to Sevilla but they managed to defeat Sevilla with a very nice score, 3-2. I was expecting a draw though. Yes, Dortmund are very unstable and we could be cautious about betting on them. But I think that Sevilla have a really hard work to do in Signal Iduna Park. If we see Haaland like this again, I don't give a chance for Sevilla.  Grin

Today's game is Real Sosiedad vs Man U... I hope that the red devils will be able to show what they can do! I bet on the victory of Man U with odds of 2.3... Wink

It is one of the toughest matches of today. Cavani, Pogba and van de Beek won't play in this match. It is also doubtful for Martial and McTominay. Real Sociedad won their last 2 games in La Liga. Manchester Utd got draws in their last 2 games in the EPL. We still don't know how much importance Manchester Utd will give to the EL. But I think they will get a draw at least.

According to some news, Liverpool, Manchester Utd, Manchester City and Tottenham all are after Schalke's young striker Matthew Hoppe (19). Despite Schalke's terrible form in the Bundesliga, he managed to score 5 goals in 11 league games which is quite good I think. He is very young and a promising player I think.

https://www.90min.com/posts/matthew-hoppe-man-city-man-utd-liverpool-tottenham-transfer

I think this is the second time I'm hearing about Hoppe. From the stats, he still has a long way to go but he could better in a better team. Considering his current market value is somewhere around €3.2M, It would be a great addition to Liverpool because we currently don't have a natural striker in our team. I like origi but he's an on/off striker and has been off for an overly long period of time. Signing a striker would help mitigate some of our attacking problems. At least it should give Firmino the opportunity to play as an attacking midfielder.

He has definitely a long way ahead of him to be a much better forward. But I think that he can have more impressive statistics if he plays at a better club than Schalke which are getting closer to relegation day by day. I'm not so sure whether Liverpool would be a good choice because he is still very young and it is doubtful how much time he can play. I think firstly Liverpool need to make a world-star striker transfer as Firmino and Origi haven't been playing well.

Burnley-Fulham game is going on still 0-0. According to the statistics of the game, Burnley are playing a more dominant game which I'm not surprised about it. I see Fulham are still the favourite on live bet odds. But I'm favoring Burnley and they can win this match if Fulham don't improve their game.
1638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: February 17, 2021, 06:33:49 PM
Atletico Madrid are the losing side with a 1-0 score against Levante now very surprisingly. But Levante got very lucky on the goal. They have only 3 dangerous attacks so far and 1 of them ended up with a goal. Atletico Madrid have a superb performance now and I think they will turn the game around and obtain another victory.
1639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: February 17, 2021, 06:29:40 PM
btw, for today's match, I bet on 1 match only. in the Juve vs Porto match. I support Juve, hope they win with good results today.

Will be?
Porto has an excellent defense, closes the spaces very well, and likes to do fast counterattacks. Juventus will have to be very careful in that game.

Juventus also failed to make it through to the last 16 of last season, so the emotional will also weigh heavily during the game... winning this first game is more than necessary to give Juventus some motivation.

But, we are talking about the Cristiano Ronaldo team that should play since Paulo Dybala is injured.

It will be a difficult game, and I would bet on a draw.

Porto haven't been good for 3 weeks in the Primeira Liga. They got 3 draws successively. But I can also agree with you that they are a dangerous team. Maybe Juventus are much more powerful than them but if they underestimate Porto they could get an unexpected result in this match. I think each side will score and we might see a draw in the end.

H2H between Koeman and Pochetinho proves the later has superior performance over the former, it would be an interesting display of beautiful football. Personally I  see PSG edging Barcelona on this one, reason being that Barcelona isn't having a beautiful season with Koeman yet. Prediction 1-3.

Klopp would be happy to return to his home country and he wouldn't want to be humiliated so, he will be loading a fantastic lineup against a strong team of Leipzig. 0-2 scoreline should not be a bad match for Liverpool in Germany.

Only the last goal from Mbape ruined the beautiful correct scores. Nevertheless it was a nice predictions for whoever that banked on it

You were really close to guess the score correctly mate. It was still a very nice try. PSG scored the 4th goal after a counter-attack thanks to Barcelona were taking big risks. PSG had a great performance even playing away. Barcelona were like they had nothing to do against them. I think we can easily say that PSG already advanced to the quarter final.  Grin
