Liverpool face Aston Villa this weekend after a 7-2 first leg drubbing; How will Liverpool perform? Who will be blamed this time ?
The 7-2 loss was absolutely a disaster for Liverpool. It shocked the people from all around the world. This is the revenge time I think. They can't make up an excuse about van Dijk's not still playing. They have all of their players who are very effective on scoring. And this is one of the very important matches in the race for the 4th position. They should win this at any cost. Yep that was a real nightmare...liverpool players was very bad on the pitch and the big problem is that the opponent wasnt bayern but just aston villa...i think players must honor the name of Liverpool by making a good revenge I hope so, yes. Aston Villa are not a bad team but they are also not a team that can score 7 goals against Liverpool normally. Liverpool will have less morale as they lost 3-1 to Real Madrid in the CL. But they have to keep getting good results in the league to maintain their chance for 4th or 5th place. It's revenge time!

it was confirmed today in the sidelines of the cl game bayern vs. psg that J. Boateng will leave the club after this season there are interested clubs from england, italy but also from the mls There is significant interest in the 32-year-old. In Europe, Chelsea and Juventus have been linked with the defender. Another option could be Major League Soccer. "Experience another culture," Boateng said to kicker when asked about his future last year. "I like to learn new things and don’t always have to be in the same place. USA, Asia, or even another European country, you will see." https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jerome-boateng-will-leave-bayern-munich-quot-mutual-decision-by-the-board-quot-/view/news/383091It'll be a very dramatic leave for him after his services for his team for 10 years. He is 32 years old now and I think it is still not a very old age for a defender. I'm not sure about the European clubs but I think he could go to MLS or Asia maybe.

Question is, Can Pirlo fix Juventus this summer ?
I have a better question. Will be Pirlo the coach of Juventus this summer? I'm guessing probably not. And it's definitely a good question. Pirlo has been really bad at managing Juventus this season. They screwed the things up in the Serie A and they are even under the threat of dropping down to lower positions from the 4th place. They also disappointed their supporters by getting eliminated by Porto in the UCL. Maybe they will win the Coppa Italia but it isn't and shouldn't be enough for a team like Juventus. It's unacceptable for certain. I admit that Juventus have indeed played badly this season, the defeat against Porto in the Champions League cannot be forgiven. Moreover, the chance for Juventus to win the Serie A trophy is gone, with a significant difference in points from Inter. So Juventus hope is to stay in the top 4, so the match against Napoli Juventus must win to ensure that it remains in the top 4. Because currently Juventus have the same points as Napoli who are in position 5. This is a very worrying thing, if Juventus fail to beat Napoli, this will make Pirlo look even worse as Juventus coach. I'm sure Pirlo will still be given a chance if Juventus are still in the top 4, but I'm sure Pirlo will be sacked at the end of this season if Juventus get out of the top 4. The Napoli match was very important for Pirlo to stay or not. It was a tough one but Juventus managed to defeat them 2-1. And they took a deep breath after this result as they've taken the 3rd place from Atalanta. I don't know about whether the board could decide Pirlo to stay even Juventus manage to qualify for the CL. I've a feeling like he'll be sacked anyway.

Bayern Monaco deserved to not only draw the game but to win the game. PSG got destroyed in ball possession, shoots, and missed goal.
It will be a fun second leg next week.
PSG were better on making use of the goal chances. Bayern really felt the absence of Lewandowski in this match. If he was in this one, the result could be much different I think. Because they lost too many goal opportunities. If I'm not wrong, Bayern lost a match in the Champions League after 19 matches. And they also are under a big risk of getting eliminated after this result.

I've realized that I really missed a competition like this in the Ligue 1. Because it was really boring for years as PSG were dominating the league too much. It's not the thing people want generally. People want competition and they want to really enjoy watching the matches.
You're right but be careful there are still 7 matchdays till the end of the championship the 23rd may, LOSC Lille has yet to encounter several big team like OL Lyon in 3 weeks, the 25th april at round 34 for example. The contest is not over, and several upheavals can occur before the end. https://www.ligue1.com/fixtures-resultsThe title fight is not over yet. Although Lille is many points ahead, in the future they will face two strong opponents like Lyon and Lens. The outcome of these two matches will depend on who will be the champion. I don't think there will be any chance for PSG to win the title if Lille is able to score 6 points in these two matches. I agree with it. If Lille manage to come out a winner from their toughest games, I don't see any reason for them not to be the champions also. But there is a long road ahead even there are less than 10 games left. Each team will play 7 matches. The difference between the points of Lille and PSG is only 3 points. So if Lille loses a match, they will fall behind in the title fight. But I would be happy to win the title Lille this season. I am annoyed to see the PSG team as champions. I want a new team to win the title this season. I feel exactly the same. Ok, I accept that PSG have a much better squad than maybe all of the other teams in the league. But it doesn't mean that they will dominate the league forever. Teamplay is the most important thing for every clubs. If a team give importance to teamplay more than any other thing, their chance for the championship will be higher than their opponents. And it looks like Lille are doing a great job. It's not easy to beat PSG away in the end. If they maintain their good performance, we could see a different champion after years (I hope ).

Liverpool totally destroyed Arsenal in the match. Arsenal played so terrible that they needed a miracle to draw with Liverpool. I really liked especially Jota's performance. He is a too important player for the team and scored 2 goals in this one. I must admit that a 3-0 result was surprising for me. I was seeing Liverpool as the better side and they got a solid win. If they play consistently from now on, they may end the league as the 4th also but it will be quite hard for them.
Arsenal is more focused on the Europa League now. They are trying to win it as this will guarantee them a direct place in the Champions League next year.Of course this is difficult but from the 8 teams remaining Arsenal is one of the strongest team there. They actually can qualify for the Europa League or the Champions League by performing well in the EPL also but they seem like they already finished the season earlier mentally. There is a 9-point gap with the 5th place. It's near impossible for them to take that place from now on, I believe. Hence, I hope they really focus on the EL. Otherwise, we won't see them in any international tournament in the next season.

Yeah I wondered why odds kept getting poorer and poorer for Real, when I first took bets Liverpool were not favoured. The match so far has reflected that. 2 goals down, a defensive mistake from Trent for the second. Liverpool living on edge with no real threat on goal. I can't dream of a Firmino rescue in 2nd half, can I?
Half-time now, and things are looking pretty grim for us. Too bad all the senior CBs are injured or now would be the perfect time to substitute TAA. I was really shocked by the result of the first half. My expectation was a draw in this match. But considering Real Madrid's very solid performance in the first half, it looks like they will win this match with a very advantageous result. It's also dependent on Liverpool's second half performance. Because they've been terrible so far.

Leon Goretzka is in advanced talks with FC Bayern München about a new contract. The contract duration is not yet known, but it's very likely that Goretzka will extend his contract at FC Bayern. The current market value of the 26 year-old midfielder is about €70m. Leon Goretzka is already in advanced talks with FC Bayern over a new contract. The contract duration, however, is still unknown [@spox, @GoalDeutschland] Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1378484696703762445Leon Goretzka on a contract extension: "I feel very comfortable here. Bayern has helped me a lot in the last few years to take the next step. Therefore the tendency is clearly towards Bayern" [@ZDFsportstudio via @kerry_hau] Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1378483843846569984It'd be a wise choice for Bayern Munich to keep Goretzka at the team for a long term. He's played in 28 official matches so far. And he scored 8 goals and made 9 assists in these matches. He also scored the only goal in the Leipzig match the last and it was a very valuable goal that helped Bayern pull away from Leipzig in the table. So his contribution to the team is really great and I hope we can watch him at Bayern for many years.

Just as in the bundesliga; theres a top 2 clash in the french legue as well as PSG Hosts Lille, with PSG Only top on goal difference;
Tomorrow is a big day for PSG and Lille also, yes. We will watch the top 2 teams clashing against each other for getting 3 points ahead of the other. PSG seem like they are the advantageous side as they have a better performance recently and they are also the home team. But Lille could be the toughest opponent for them in the league now. I don't expect a similar result to the match vs Lyon. I think that both teams will score goals and PSG may become victorious by 1 goal. After few years first time we have very tight situation in French League as 4 teams fighting hard for title after today result PSG is suffering very badly and Lille is in good situation. If Lyon win his match than they can jump on third spot which is not bad at all as Monaco will slip to fourth hopefully next rounds will bring some more entertaining games for this Covid-19 hit season. It was a really unexpected result for me that Lille managed to win this 1-0 away. PSG actually had much more goal chances but they were so clumsy that they couldn't score any. Lille are the leader again now with 66 points and they will end this week as 3 points ahead of their closest opponent. Probobly the most exciting league finish in last 10-20 years in france ligue 1 Totally unexpected win from Lille. This is a huge boost for them i hope they continue this amazing run Also Monaco and Lyon are chasing the title as well. Cant wait too see what will happen next I've realized that I really missed a competition like this in the Ligue 1. Because it was really boring for years as PSG were dominating the league too much. It's not the thing people want generally. People want competition and they want to really enjoy watching the matches.

And it is matchday!
We are gonna have 2 huge games:
Manchester City - Dortmund : City have a superb form in general now. They defeated Leicester away the last. It's for sure that City will be very focused on this match. Dortmund are the opposite of them now. They've been very bad in the Bundesliga. They lost to Frankfurt in their last match and their morale won't be very good. I think City will make use of playing home very well and get a win by 2 goals at least.
Real Madrid - Liverpool : Both of these teams got nice results in their last matches. Especially Liverpool got a very valuable win against Arsenal, 3-0 away. There will be a so big competition in the match. In my opinion, both teams will score and it could end in a draw.

NBA power ranking report. https://www.cbssports.com/nba/powerrankings/*Keep in mind that our Power Rankings are based on the team's performance the previous week, not the entire season. 1, Nets 2. Jazz 3. Bucks 4. Clippers 5. 76ers 6. Suns 7. Nuggets 8. Trail Blazers 9. LA Lakers 10. Mavericks. I only take the top 10 in the ranking. Liking the Jazz and Nets as they stay consistent, whiel 76ers also have some great performance despite missing Embiid. Nets have been great for many weeks that's for sure. LA Lakers have been playing without Lebron for some time and it affects them really badly. Jazz actually have the best form in the recent times as they have a 7-win streak which is really awesome.

Sporting CP are 10 points clear at the top of the league and ofcourse have little to worry about as the title in right in their hands. On the other hand, Porto, Benfica and Braga has to keep on winning consistently in the race for the champions league spot.
Benfica ? - ? Maritimo Moreirense ? - ? Sporting CP Farense ? - ? SC Braga FC Porto ? - ? Santa Clara
What are your predictions?
Benfica - Maritimo Moreirense - Sporting CP Farense - SC BragaFC Porto - Santa Clara My predictions for the games are like this. I think all of the favorites of these matches will win their games this week. And Sporting will maintain their lead with the same point difference and get one step closer to the title.

~snip~ The anxious wait is continuing for now. I'm still hoping for Messi not to extend his contract and I hope he goes to Manchester City this summer. Many rumors came, I read PSG was also interested. Everyone is just guessing, there is no definite news yet, maybe all will be answered when this season ends. If he does go it is good, Barca will be new. Barca will learn not to depend on one player. I think the problem at the moment for Barca is Messi. Barca management must immediately improve if they want to return to being candidates for La Liga champions next season. Selling messi and bringing in new players for the team, I think that's even better. The reason because Messi is old now. Barcelona will learn not to depend on one player in time for sure. Because even if Messi stays at the team, he won't be playing forever in the end. But the thing Barcelona want is benefiting from Messi until he retires. I guess he could continue playing until the age of 39 or 40.

Atletico have a really tough match against Sevilla.
This could be a crucial game. It's vitally important for Atletico that they win this difficult match. If they lose, then Barca could be within a single point of them... and Barca still have to play Atletico, so if they can get within three points and then beat Atletico when they play them, then Barca can be champions. Atletico absolutely need to maintain that gap at a clear four points. But I do think that Atletico can do it. There's a reason they are top of the table. Barca may have hit form recently, but Atletico are still a difficult team to take points from. Atletico can really make it to the championship now. They have no other important tournaments to think about and focus on. I can say confidently that they will try their best to win the title as this could be one of their biggest chances to do it. They know that they are under threat of Barcelona (especially) and Real Madrid. I expect a solid performance from Atletico against Sevilla because of that.

It looks like tomorrow is a critical game for the title fight between Leipzig and Bayern Munchen. This is a golden opportunity for Leipzig as they are playing at home and if they don't win this game the title fight for them can be considered over.Bayern is the strongest team so for me both teams to score is the most logical bet.
I'm looking forward to watching this huge match. It is sad that we won't see Lewandowski playing in this match because of an injury and he will also miss a couple of matches. This is of course an opportunity for Leipzig. If they manage to benefit from it nicely, they may become victorious in this very important match.
