cpuminer-multi cannot mine Boolberry yet. Once it can, it will probably be better. There are a few things left to fix in simpleminer to improve efficiency -- mostly about the % time spent mining vs waiting for work from the network. Some of this can be fixed with the current protocol and some wants something like Stratum support. They're a bit more work than what I did already - I'll try to fix some of them next weekend or so if time permits and lucasjones doesn't add boolberry to cpuminer-multi first. great! it is fun, this coin (design/name) is fun.. not even would mine it for a profit.. as said.. Raspberry PI or Beagle, blinking lights and all thanks again...

cpuminer-multi cannot mine Boolberry yet. unfortunately not finding blocks was not because of that.. used straight out minerd, I love your coin.. such a shame on the difficulty (people must have rented CPU farms..)

I've added preliminary multithreading support to simpleminer. It's annoying launching all of those processes manually. I've just now sent it as a pull request to crypto_zoidberg, but if anyone wants to test it, this is my test repository: https://github.com/dave-andersen/boolberry(For the paranoid, the only files that are changed are simpleminer.h and simpleminer.cpp, so you can copy those into your own checkout from the official release). Note: That repository is going to go away if and when the changes are merged. As a warning, it's still suboptimal. It spends too much time waiting for jobs from the servers. The starting diff for the pools will need to be adjusted for multithreaded clients, at minimum. Better would, of course, be adding stratum support and a better miner architecture, but this is a start in the right direction. a) If you use it, be sure to connect to the highest starting difficulty port available on your pool. b) Latency is important. Make sure you find a pool that responds fast to your job requests! Look at the log output and see the time between "Getting next job" and the report of starting work (either job didn't change or applying scratchpad diff). c) The new arg is --mining-threads # Testing comments appreciated. This is alpha-quality -- I've run it on my own machine but that's it. from bbr.extremehash.com: Last Share Submitted: less than a minute ago Hash Rate: 256.71 KH/sec Total Hashes Submitted: 182280000 that's running 8 threads on an i7-4770. It's still slower than solo mining, but it's getting better. you did a great job on fastrie ( riecoin,) used it for a while with success, now attacking cryptonight coins.. thanks for all your contributions! (not to mention cudaminer work.. and speed up you have achieved.. that was phenomenal...)

You can help these pools to find blocks but the difficulty level is crazy high.. I do however LOVE what you did with network graphs http://boolberry.com/state.htmlsub-word berry is cool too, I don't think raspberry will mind.. maybe it can be connected somehow (client for raspberry) too bad on the difficulty level, impossible to mine on my rig.. and it is quite powerful rig (CPU wise) AMD's low watts lots of power it is not just me.. block finding problem can be bad for the coin unfortunately... "Does anyone know what is up with #Boolberry ? Was mining for 12 hours with no blocks found. Back to mining bla bla" https://twitter.com/intent/retweet?tweet_id=474309773416869888

I don't know how yo all are doin' , Difficulty: 66640425354, Block Found: Never pretty funny

a little bit confused (although wallet works perfect) about the "fee" it says next to "send" button
Total (inc. 0.2% wallet fee and network fee)
the 0.2 wallet fee, is this wired in in the code to your network service ? (qcnpool.org) ?
for every transaction you collect a % or I am missing something thanks !hope I am missing something because it would be funny otherwise

nice doing well I see... 1.63 Gh/s network hash and climbing.. this is as it should be. transition from old coins to new was done (is being done as I see people are still transitioning, sorry about that) extremely well.. karma is very strong here you will do well! ethics will be ultra important in crypto. already starting to be... volume is approaching 5 BTC maybe not much on the scale of things.. but if you perform actions such as in exchange of coins in other areas it will be n increase (but gradually) no get rich quick.. but build up.. I am trying to communicate this across other threads (few are listening) better be slow but steady and consistent rather than quick and burn (everyone else in the process) have a great weekend! btw.. these guys are VERY good (and ethical) recommend, they did something for me (and money is not an issue here) that I will never forget... https://www.minep.it

Any updates from the dev? Is everything else still on schedule?
yeah! would be cool to hear, cause one can build up gradually again.. but not like crazy rush to gold like last time have a great Sunday all, and karma is *watching*

nice!
Nice in what way? Nice that's it's now accepted (in a round about way) at some little known corner of the interwebz? You have to go through many more steps than you'd have to go through with coins that are readily accepted already. Nobody in their right mind is going to support this coin after the pre-mine stunt and then dumping into the market pulled by the dev. Stick a fork in LTCX...it's done. never know I mean look dev could use that BTC and do something really productive (with full disclosure) if not I spent a day or two mining if anything for historical reasons + coin is extremely hard to mine, I kind of like that.. otherwise community also.. rushed with massive GHS all at once, so now it is up to dev to make corrections if not so be it

excellent.. we will try that next.. orphans are the problem (and lost revenue) please tell us how do you handle orphans and if penalty is in place and how much of the penalty (% wise).. thank you! MinerGate claimed that a problem with orphans was solved. great, will experiment with pool with the ladies next have a great (ongoing) weekend

How come u settled down to such a name for a coin - QuazarCoin ?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quasarshould be S but it is Z, historians will debate the issue meantime I am seeing to that every CPU core is being utilized and all shares are accounted for (and they are not at the moment)

Any update as to what issues minin.gs pool is having. Have not switched my rigs yet, but may do so if there is nothing back from the pool op. As stated in a previous post, payments halted about 24 hours ago.
too bad right ? cause https://minergate.com imposes BIG penalty and chop off your $ in the big way, something clogged over there.. I just can not afford to have high expense hardware to go to idle.. be careful if Quazar *makes it* each coin will be valued in an excess of $1000 (for start) so any mining pool having problems or chopping off % because of orphans is a semi fraud

Wtf is DuckNote, btw? A nerd Joke or real coin? I dont want to write/ask in DuckNote thread, because I dont wanna subscribe to this DOGE 2.0 coin.
staying away from it, name but also for other reasons merge mining fantom and quazar while GPU's are mining an undisclosed ultra high potential coin (also in an anonymous realm) btw Doge might be going down in such a hard fall that cryto world has never seen before

Excellent article. thank you for sharing. just perfect was ready to convert VeriCoin proceeds (and this coin is the top 10 and will be in the top 5) to CRYPT.. but did not... but did unload dark coin (even if < 1) it was fun.. I am failing to find freebies the only way is to mine or unload FIAT ... it is my opinion that anonymous transactions is the key.. not even X11 or X13, believe CRYPT given pounding by the market place.. is a good entry point for just anyone, hash rate continues to be ultra high right next to X11 and dark but dark is overpriced! anonymous transactions is NOT a property of one coin.. watch CRYPT rise
