You'll pay a tax when you buy the gold since bitcoin increased in value since you bought it. Cashing out is a taxable event. The tax you pay is based on how long you held the property - basically more if you held it less than a year.

The Malaysian Officials have managed to make a tragedy even worse with their ineptness. I can't even begin to imagine the anguish caused to the families.

Bitcoin is classed as a currency so it the same as forex. My view is that tax would only be due if it was being actively traded for profit. If it was being exchanged for actual use as a currency then tax would not be due.

Take a good long time to educate yourself on investing first. Don't invest in anything you don't completely understand.

Thanks for posting this. Too many times videos of dirty cops are lost because they just snatch the phone or camera away.

Another one who doesn't think that bitcoin is money ,understands neither bitcoin or money.

We don't need make a choice between gold and Bitcoin. These two things can coexist. Gold has its own purposes and shortcomings, as does Bitcoin. They exist for completely different purposes in completely different categories. And to claim that one is "better" than another is simply comparing apples to oranges.

Here they start again with their idiots experts! Why are the so afraid of bitcoin? If the US Dollar is the Future Digital Currency why they give so much importance to bitcoin?Accepting bitcoin costs zero fee. Accepting bitcoin and having some 3rd party converting it to USD, yes, that'll cost about 1% fee (actually it's more like 0.5% nowadays). Still way less than paypal, visa, mastercard, etc which (unlike Bitcoin) all come with huge risks, limitations and dependencies.

What a wonderful idea! I miss coffee very much as I can no longer drink it for medical reasons, so looking forward to trying this. I wonder how it would work using the Aztec morning chocolate recipe? Thank you very much for this post, very interesting and useful!
I used to get acid reflux also, my neck use to get burning sensations from the acid that will travel up to my neck, also the maya blend works very well for that.

The older you get the more of income you should have am I right?
Another completely logical and more reasonable assumption is that healthier people tend to be wealthier. Maybe they can afford better food, personal trainers, or whatever. They're more likely to be conscious of their body image, too - especially women. It's common for men in high business positions to wear make-up to look their best. Possibly being wealthier, is a result of looking your best, which is a result of better health.

If you think American beer is bad, then no offense, but you are obviously not an informed beer drinker.

There’s only 2 problems with bringing back the dinosaurs. One, successfully assembling the genetic code (see the book The Lost World [AFTER reading the first one!!!]). Two, they will never be free. No matter how much I want a Jurassic Park, I say it shouldn’t happen. Why? Simply because keeping animals in captivity is wrong.
What about eating them? Most probably dinosaurs would taste like chicken. Because dinosaurs is chicken's ancestor ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) If dinosaurs really taste like chicken then we will farm them! Why to farm 1000 chicken when you can have 1 dino......hahaha

Why not? I would like some parts of ours to evolve further. 5 fingers? fuck that, gimme 8 so I can type easier. Our eyes? Do you know how shitty our eyes are compared to other animals? It's cause they were evolved to work perfectly under water, then when we started walking on land we had to evolve it from that so it never got perfect. We can't see things right in front of our noses, we cant see things 500 meters away in detail, we can't even see in the night which fucking sucks. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Evolve that shit to the max level and then I'll be satisfied. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) This a gold comment love ya for this one. 8 fingers thats great.

This is true to the extent that you are free to act otherwise. To the extent that your choice is dictated by legal tender law (men with guns willing to lock you in a cage if you don't accept their notes for payment of debt and taxes) its not an expression of support. While it may still be a material form of support its not necessarily a moral one.

I really feel for you, it's a horrible situation. The problem, of course, is that there's no rational way to talk about it. When faith is taken as a virtue in and of itself, then it trumps rationality every time. The only way I can think of to make her understand this is to try and make the point that this man is NOT a man of God. See if anyone has done some research on this guy.
