1621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is "Solana" Will be the Next to get Killed.. on: November 09, 2022, 12:33:06 PM
What we saw with Solana is somewhat an indication for its future, it seems hopeless to see this project long-term but smells like a shitcoin that is soon to die. In fact, their investors and supporters had left earlier for they actually have some negative view of what might happen to this project. We never have to neglect this situation, it is about testing projects in the market to see who will ever stay.

Solana has once been hyped last year and it struggling now to survive, that is a terrible thing to happen in a project that it was just created for such event.

How people change their opinions and speculation about these altcoins. Solana was one of the best coins along with FTT and people were advised to get them in their portfolio and now all of a sudden SOL become a shit coin  Huh

Previously, we had LUNA which was one of the best holdings and people got rekt who hold and thought this will be the coin of the future.
Seeing recent incidents, I come to the conclusion that only Bitcoin BTC is the real money rest all are shitcoins.  Roll Eyes

Luna goes bust
>3AC goes bust
>Voyager and friends go bust
>FTX buys it
>FTX goes bust
>Binance buys it

Who will buy Binance 🤔  if they go to dust 😔?

No one will buy Binance but it will be done and dusted when we see the rise of the decentralized exchanges, to be very true, I am feeling afraid of these centralized exchanges. What just happened with FTX, we cannot trust any exchange. I only hope that FTX opens with withdrawals soon FTX Scam : Unable to withdraw.

Also if binance buys FTX, don't you think Binance has become too big for the industry? You will feel scared if you see the magnitude of binance and their impact on the crypto world.

Please don't make binance too big that it becomes a threat to the crypto world.
1623  Economy / Scam Accusations / FTX Scam : Unable to withdraw on: November 09, 2022, 04:18:09 AM
Recently we have seen some really bad scenes when two crypto exchanges Binance and FTX have some issues and one want to dominate the other.

I will not go into details as we already hearing updates on bitcointalk and Twitter but the most frustrating and bad thing is that FTX has disabled the withdrawals and they are not processing them.  Undecided

If FTX does not have any funds with them and FTT token is dumping to zero, can we expect another major crypto exchange scam? Why do we have to suffer always?

If you hear any good news about withdrawals on social media or on their official Twitter account, please do share it here.
1624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 09, 2022, 04:01:00 AM
Today is the big day for the Team Pakistan. We have finally come to a place where the motive should be to lift the cup. Forget about the uncertainty we face in qualifying for this place and also the form of the opening pair, Today is a new day and a new match and we can do it.
Yes, We can win today and make it to the finals. The whole Pakistani nation's prayers are with the national Hero's and we love them

Well.. all the best for today's match. Pakistan has some of the best T20 players, such as Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi. If they play their natural game, then they should be able to win the match. But toss will be having a big impact on the match, which will be played at the SCG. So far 5 out of the 6 matches played at this ground was won by teams batting first. And remember that New Zealand do have some very explosive batsmen. And there is indication that today's pitch is a batting friendly one.

At the end of the day, one team has to win. New Zealand was in a top class form since day of this T20 world cup when they defeated the host team Australia in the very first match. They did not stop from that day and secured their place in the Semi finals.
In fact they were the first team who are confirmed to reach the semi finals. So we cannot underestimate them in today's match especially when the condition of Australian pitches is similar to their home ground pitches.

Pakistan on the other hand gained form at the end of the super stages and won their last three matches to qualify for the Semi finals. They needed results from other teams as well and nature also helped them reach this stage, so when nature is with you, you cannot take this team lightly.

The campaign is only six months old when you registered on the forum in 2020 as they have been running successfully for 3 years now under the effective management of @Hhampuz but yes they launched the art contest after some time only as you can see they have been running it from 2020 or maybe even earlier also but yes it's fun contest and have not taken part in recent one due to time problem but members like it very much.
I appreciated your information but I only don't know how the initiative for art contests was originated and was launched first time.

Likely it was initiated by Hhampuz's creative idea and Roobet team agreed with the manager to launch it. After they got good traffics from that, they decided to launch other contests. Wager, handy art contests and more.

You can run gambling contests like wagering very regularly but with art contests, it takes time to cool down. Special events are necessary to launch art contests which should be opened and wide enough for artists to make their arts.

The contests are funny but award prizes for art contest winners are not small. In fact, prizes are great enough to enjoy.

I think Roobet is the only gambling site that offers art contest on regular basis and that is the new cool competition started by them which give chance to the designers and artist to showcase their drawing.
I do not remember when was their first Art competition was launched (and i don't think there is any benefit to know the dates of the launches which have already ended) however the latest contest just recently ended and the theme was Halloween,  Art Contest "Halloween Special" | $2850 Up for grabs! Ends Oct 31st

Confirmation from CZ here: https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1590013613586411520

This is probably a good solution for the entire cryptocurrency market.

We saw big moves in the market in a very short time. People who followed the news and insiders probably managed to earn quite a lot during this time. I wonder if we will have any more twists on this topic.

Right but remember that binance has not bought ftx right now and there is still DD which needs to be agreed upon. Anything can happen in crypto market and there could be a situation in which they don't agree upon a mutual deal. Whatever may be the situation, the market will remain extremely volatile and if anyone looking to do future trading, be very careful and use low leverage because of the current volatility in the market.
1627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who will win, FTX or BINANCE? on: November 08, 2022, 04:28:18 PM
I don’t know who will win, but I just feel like if the CEO of the biggest crypto exchange fudds about competitors, we all gonna loose.

No one will lose, both FTX and Binance will take advantage of the situation and liquidate the retail investors.
The recent tweet by sam seems to settle down the things but then who were affected ? Those who sold in panic and those who got liquidated Sad

1628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if she receives Bitcoin as gift on: November 08, 2022, 04:05:35 PM

I gifted my sister $100 worth of ETH last year when it was hovering around $2k. She also likes to invest on Bitcoin but wants to go all-in. But I told her not to because it’s very risky if she will convert all of her savings into Bitcoin.

My friend you are underestimating Bitcoins according to me. Your sister might have done a proper research before thinking of going all in with Bitcoins. Bitcoins have the highest marketcap compare to any other coins, and it’s limited in numbers, so definitely as the time passes it will become more valuable, and hence due to limited in numbers the price will go high. I guess your sister was thinking right, Bitcoins are always best for long term holding.

First of all, as I am understanding this, his sister wants to invest 100$ in bitcoin. When you said that she was to go all in on bitcoin, we are talking about 100$ only? Am i right?

If so, why there is so much debate? You can invest this 100$ in bitcoin or in Ethereum in current market conditions and still be in profit. If she wants to invest more money and that too in bitcoin then it is the safest investment.
1629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Satoshi Needs to Reveal His Identity ? on: November 06, 2022, 06:01:31 PM
There are so many people in the Bitcoin Talk Forum who have interest to discover the true identity of the Bitcoin and Blockchain inventor. Also there are few who oppose the matter, that Satoshi Nakamoto must not reveal his identity.

I am so much confused regarding matter. So I think, it would be better to arrange a concensus about the identity of the Bitcoin and Blockchain inventor. The members of this forum can vote for themselves and it will be helpful for Satoshi Nakamoto to make a correct discussion.

What is your opinion ?

First of all, it is Satoshi decision to reveal his identity or hide his identity and we have no right to interfere in his decision. So in this case, there is no need to discuss these things as he won't take decisions based on our opinions.
Still, if you ask me, it is better that he does not disclose his identity and remain anonymous. I think if he reveals his identity, the bitcoin price will take a big dump.
1630  Economy / Speculation / Re: My advice to you regarding bear markets. on: November 06, 2022, 01:49:28 PM
Clearly, by the LUNA fall and then we are experiencing a bear market. No one can deny that.

So you are concluding the LUNA fall or scam was the reason of the bitcoin bear market? I don't agree with this. The bear market was already in effect and this LUNA drama acted as a nail in the coffin.

Secondly, if we see the price history of bitcoin from 2009, we will see that bitcoin always rises and gives the highest return on investment and lowest holding time. It is a maximum of four years we may have to hold and see another all time high bitcoin price.

The same way Bangladesh fans will be feeling the same if they lose this match. However, the context of both matches is different.  In the India Pakistan match, if no ball was not given, Pakistan was surely a winner.  Here, if Shakib was given not out, I don't think he was in the mood to make 50 in 20 balls.  Wink

This is not a question of making 50 in 20 balls. If Shakib was not given out, the Bangladesh team were not in a bad position but 2 wickets in 2 balls make it a worse situation especially when the second wicket was wrongly given out.
Due to this, the momentum for the Bangladesh team is lost and this decision is in the mind of the whole team and it badly affects their batting.
As a result, Bangladesh just broke down after that. At one point they could have ended up with 150 runs and now even 120 looks difficult. That's how a bad decision can destroy the morale of the team.
1632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 06, 2022, 05:17:01 AM
I understand that field umpire can make mistakes but how come the TV umpire make a wrong descsion. Is he blind to see that the bat did not hit the ground and this ultra edge footage means that Shakib Al Hasan is not out.
If you see the reply in slow motion, the ball never hit the ground.

What's wrong with ICC umpires? Do they want Pakistan to qualify to keep the spice in the WC and make lots of money through India Pakistan Hype and a possible final between them Huh

40th Match Super 12 Group 2. South Africa won the toss and welcomed the Netherlands to bat. Netherlands batting brilliantly from the beginning of the batting. Netherlands score 112 for 3 in 15 overs. South Africa bowling performance is not doing so well. South Africa must win the match to sure a Super 12 Group 2 semi-final match. Today's match is very important for South Africa
South Africa's net run rate is fairly good especially as they are in the second position with a total of five points from four matches.  A mere win against the Netherlands today will ensure them a place in the semi-finals.  Because it is impossible for Pakistan, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and the Netherlands to make it to the semi-finals.

Although South Africa is a strong team, and they should win against the Netherlands however the Netherlands did bat well to make 158 runs. All of their top order batsmen including Stephan Myburgh, Max O'Dowd, Tom Cooper and Colin Ackermann scored runs and make sure they put a very reasonable total on the board.

Also, their bowlers are putting up a good show and they have restricted south Africa to 68-3 in 10 overs. It will not be an easy journey from here on in for south Africa to win this match and cruise their way to the semi finals.
1634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zero KYC tolerance gambling platforms on: November 05, 2022, 07:27:15 PM
Is KYC verification very important to crypto gambling websites or this has something to do with their regulations rule? Where can one gamble with zero verification requirements?

Believe me or not but KYC is mandatory in the gambling world in one way or another. You may be given some benefit on not doing the KYC initially on the gambling site but later you may have to do it as sometimes you are not able to withdraw without KYC or you are being given some limitations which can only be removed if you perform the KYC.

As far as gambling sites are concerned, they are being forced to implement KYC so that they are not accused of money laundering and can save themselves in case some mishaps happen regarding the irregularity of money usage or transfer.
1635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: November 05, 2022, 03:21:25 PM

I think that the World Cup 2018 in Russia was the peak of that generation. We will see how this young players will play this year but a lot of them have many more years to play. Croatia probably won't repeat that result from four years ago bur I'm sure they will do good. We saw that in the League of Nations. The biggest question is who will be Modrić's successor to become the captain and lead the team after Qatar.

France won the 2018 world cup in Russia and probably it was the last time Russia held the world cup. I am saying this because, after the current war between Ukraine and Russia, FIFA may probably never let Russia host the world cup again. This is my feeling for now and things may change in the future, we never know. But as of now, FIFA has also banned Russia so it's hard to think that even if they unban Russian football, they may never allow the world cup to be played there.
1636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Issue in Binance P2P (disabled) on: November 05, 2022, 02:31:34 PM
being a merchant on binance I face very irritating behavior by the new users specially in pkr they just mark the order as paid without paying to seller so maybe in this he continuously do that some sellers report him so binance team disable p2p on his account for temporary he needs to contact support team to resolve the issue.

So, you mean to say that OP has marked the orders as completed without actually transferring the money and therefore his P2P binance account is disabled?
Usually if one party tries to cheat, binance will take the proof from other party and resolve the dispute. For example, if he has not released the money, the bitcoin or USDT in escrow would not have released so there is no point cheating in binance P2P.
1637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 05, 2022, 09:28:51 AM
Sri Lanka Pathum Nissanka Very good performance in batting. If he can bat for some more time, he will definitely score a century. Pathum Nissanka Collected 58 runs off 38 balls. Pathum Nissanka hit six maximum sixes in today's match. But it will be a very competitive game between England and Sri Lanka. But in today's game, it is still not clear who will win and who will lose. England must win today's match to play the semi-finals.

Sri Lanka started well in this match but it seems that they lost control in the later part of their innings. They scored good runs in the first 10 overs but the runs seem to be dried up in the last 10 overs and now it seems that Sri Lanka would find it difficult to reach the 150 Mark. This is a disappointing end to the innings as initially, it looked like 180 runs were on the card but now it seems far away. Pathum Nissanka scored 67 runs in only 45 balls and he was the only highlight of this innings. No other batsmen supported him.

Look like Australians' dreams for this T20 world cup may not last long as England can easily chase anything below 140 or 150.
1638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 05, 2022, 06:21:52 AM
Whether Australia will make it to the Semi finals depends on Sri Lanka. England is playing relatively well while Sri Lanka is also good. However, Sri Lanka is lagging behind in this tournament. Australia is also in quite confusion. If England can beat Sri Lanka, it will certainly not be good news for Australia. NRR is important issue. The run rate of the match has now become quite effective. Who can win the final match between the two teams? ‍Who one will be lucky in this match? These are the common questions of the spectators regarding the today's match.

The equation is very simple now. New Zealand has qualified already as they have the highest run rate. Today's final group one match result will determine who will be the 2nd team to qualify from this group.

There is simple two scenarios and now the run rate does not matter.

1- If England wins, the England reaches the semi finals (Australia is eliminated)

2- If England loses, Australia will qualify for the semi finals (England is eliminated)

1639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you watching Online Gambling Streams? Short survey and discussion on: November 04, 2022, 07:43:27 PM
Already fill, I hope my participation in fill out the survey helps your thesis, interesting in survey not just about streams but also about gambling.
Yes sometimes I watching streams depending on conditions, when bored with gambling then I watch some streams slots or some poker.

The quiz is very interesting and easy to take. It hardly takes less than 5 minutes to fill the quiz. I hope many people fill the quiz as if more people will participate, the result will be the voice of the majority of the gamblers.

Another thing is that it will be good if OP compiles all the filled survey and come up with some sort of conclusion which may be beneficial for the gambling community.

By the way, is there any deadline to fill the survey ?
1640  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is hodling top 10 Marketcap coins a good tactic? on: November 04, 2022, 04:21:49 PM
Taking a look back at the history and the top coins of the past years, it can be said that only bitcoin and ethereum are the two coins that have stayed in place throughout the years, the rest are constantly changing. In recent years, bnb is known as a product of binance, so it can be said that these are the 3 safest coins today. As for the rest of the top coins, I don't see anything guaranteed.

We should remember the market is growing, new and better altcoins are also being created so there is no guarantee that top coins like sol, avax, near, ada will not be superseded. For me 10 topcoins is not the best choice, if long-term investment should only invest in BTC, if you want to invest in altcoins, you should wait until the bull market will appear many potential altcoins.

You are right that top 10 coins are not consistent and there are chances that some new coins may enter in top 10 while some of the coin which were at top positions in previous bull run, may not be known in the next bull run. An example of such a coin is EOS.

Anyways still it is safer to invest in top 10 coins as they have a lot of liquidity and if you are clever enough you may sell those coins a a profit. Of course, you can keep Ethereum and bitcoin forever and still these two will remain at top 2 positions for a long time. No coin can replace bitcoin and at present, there is no coin which can compete Ethereum.
