I just wanted to drop in and say hello  I am working on a XC Seeder which will be added to the XC source code. This is a DNS service for crypto coins that the client connects to when starting to find other clients on the network without having to use addnode information. This is the service that replaced the IRC system that use to do the same thing. The work should be completed today. haha if we think wildly, one day the XC price may hit 1XC=1BTC, but this will not happen until Anon feature work smoothly and Blockchain2.0 has some breakthrough. hope this day will happen. thats not wild thinking really, it as wild to think that back then, Bitcoin would ever hit 10 dollars... now look..?! If BC2.0 apps start coming out and anon transactions etc...wont take to long for coins like XC to start jumping into those tripple digit value figures..especially considering there are far less XC than BTC |

Hi guys I have received last transaction from mintpal in my wallet 27 minutes ago still 0 confirmation is this normal? before wasn't that slow...
Ok now it went on balance 3 confirmations out of 6 after 37 minutes... why so slow? Yes - could someone address this pls - this will be improved , yes? Well, that is the kind of product you get for 0.8 BTC. loljosh is also not known for providing top quallity. Do you have definitive proof that loljosh provided any sort of important code for XC? All we have seen is a "trust" comment. For all you know he just came up with the simple basics if anything. Stop spreading FUD that you have NOTHING to back it up with maybe loljosh is helping with the webwallet... and so if he is.. who cares. dev allowed to hire help no ? |

So I guess I don't really understand how one Twitter post by someone on the DRK team that isn't even true can cause XC to crash, yet DRK is CONFIRMING that they're technology isn't working right, and they might not be able to get it fixed fully until July? Yet DRK's price continues to rise and XC's doesn't, even though our anon is working. Just doesn't make sense.

For those wondering where these huge hashrates cone from its very simple. Sites such as nicehash are becoming very popular and it is incredibly simple to transfer in bitcoin to them and rent out huge hashrates. If you don't know how they work miners point their rigs to the site, renters pay the site to point the miners to a pool with the renters credentials. The miners get paid in BTC, the sites takes a cut of the renters BTC and the renters get whatever coins were mined.
C'mon man that's silly. First they don't have 200 k GPUs. Second they don't wait for you to rent the gear to plug the rigs in. They mine in the meantime. Dat ~600 GH hashrate dissapeared after XC. I haven't seen it in DRK or any other coin. Maybe it's very expensive to run. IDK. I was around for the mass hash rate increase on XC...I think what happen is a few huge farms saw XC PoW was coing to an end(there was about 1000 - 2000 blocks left of PoW I think at the time) I think they saw the price of XC was sitting at 1 dollar...and there was mass money to be made by directing mass hash at the coin. The PoW stage was shortened by Dev around this time due to realization that some miner is raking in the cash...he was goingto hold large stake for sure. So the block height was lowered, reducing the coin supply for XC and thus shortening the time for PoW stage so the miner would not profit as much and hold as much stake. That is what I seen... happen..good luck to you. |

all that matters is that XC dev has never let XC down. Has always come through, has plans, is going to making those plans happen. At this point im invested in the Dev and have strong confidence he will make this happen. It just takes time. BTC didnt go from 0.000001 to 1000 in 2 days.. remember that.
