This group effort for tiny payments is an interesting concept.
I can imagine that this might be a welcome addition to income for certain undeveloped countries.
They only need an internet enabled device and a bitcoin wallet.

Please find the link for the text: 16th Inf Regt Historical Records -Oct-1943 below.

Total page count 3 + 2 = 5.

I see that you have a lot of support now, and the only open articles are a bit to big for me.
Pease consider my 5 pages as a donations.

Cheers.
Why consider it as donation Huh
with 5 pages you can get $1 worth of btc, it's better than nothing Roll Eyes
Or you can do the big part partially like do it on the first 20 pages or something similar to that Roll Eyes
1642  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 1 BTC bounty for cracking bitcoin wallet on: November 16, 2015, 09:33:17 AM
how to check File for Virus first?
If you don't know how to check file for a virus then you probably don't want to download this file in the first place. As there is NO WAY that you will crack it.

This is waste of time, im pretty sure the password is not just 5 letters long password, im pretty sure they used a random password generator with 15 letters or more Roll Eyes
You will need NASA computer to crack this one Wink

If they wanted to make sure that this wallet is secure to prove their point then  password is probably much longer than 15 characters and is near impossible to brute force.
Without serious cracker knowledge I wouldn't bother with this bounty at all.
looks like your friend amazon refunder up there managed to get the first 7 letters Roll Eyes
But who knows how many letters are inside the file Tongue
It might take years just to open the file or even more Sad
1643  Economy / Services / Re: Retype WW2 documents (scanned pdf) 0.0006 btc/page on: November 16, 2015, 08:53:00 AM
So when we will get paid??
I think Bitspill asked for your BTC address few pages back, might want to check that Roll Eyes

I've done the Company "L"
This company is the one with the most casualties so far Sad
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BxPwgLJpGFKUbktkcF9lX205V3c
The payment will be 0.0006 x 22 = 0.0132
Also just a note on page 21 there are about quarter of the pages being ripped off and i can't read that part so i just mark it with [Torn Pages] Tag Wink

1645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why in some countries Bitcoin is banned on: November 16, 2015, 02:48:47 AM
Why in some countries Bitcoin is banned is the accepting of Bitcoin by  websites and that are illegal .

im never hear county banned to  acces bitcoin website,
in my country, my goverment not banned bitcoin for transaction, but the bitcoin isn't legal payment because the bitcoin transaction have more chance to money loundry

i think some country banned bitcoin because they are scared if bitcoin change the bank system

Russia is planing to make a law that will prosecute everyone that is doing bitcoin transaction on Rusia Sad

In my country Bitcoin isn't banned nor legalized
That mean you can use bitcoin for transaction but if you got scammed by it you can't ask government helps Wink

1648  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] COINUT.COM ★ Signature Campaign ★ Pay per post ★ Weekly ★ on: November 15, 2015, 03:38:45 AM
OK enough is enough... payment for Campaign Period : 31st Oct to 6th Nov 2015. now very overdue... Only 33 people are due for a payment how difficult can that be?

When will the payment be made?

Thanks  Rich
From the looks of it our payment will be delayed for a long time Sad

Maybe wangxinxi tried his every possible effort to delay our payment because he doesn't feel wanted to pay us with the old rates Tongue
1649  Economy / Services / Re: Don't want to lose ever again ! on: November 14, 2015, 01:30:36 PM
Nice try Grin

If that people want to control their addiction by storing the bitcoin to someone else why they didn't ask escrow helps instead Wink
You know, ask the escrow to store their BTC to them because as far as i know escrows are more trustable than your red reputation there Tongue

Also, i can control my gambling addiction pretty good so i know when to stop gambling Tongue
1650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much Bitcoin have you donated? on: November 14, 2015, 11:29:41 AM
I haven't donated any Bitcoin to anyone. When it comes to charities, I am quite sceptical. How do I know the money that I send goes to the people that need it the most? Also, I don't really think that charities that are actually good, accept Bitcoin as a donation.
Well you can always look at their field reports like videos, pictures.ect Roll Eyes
That way we know that our money goes to the right hand Wink
I personally never donated to shady charity site without any proof that the money goes to the one who needs it Wink
1651  Economy / Lending / Re: Need $10 BTC loan - thanks in advance on: November 14, 2015, 09:04:29 AM
Ah I think I am starting to catch on. How about a domain name with a clean wordpress install on it?
That is acceptable as long as the domain itself have a price on it
The lenders need to make a money in case you defaulted the loan, and the price of the domain need to be at least the same as the amount of your loan Wink
Maybe you can give us the name of the domain so we can check it ?

Smiley

1657  Economy / Services / Re: Retype WW2 documents (scanned pdf) 0.0006 btc/page on: November 13, 2015, 11:49:09 AM

Besides the copying of the document it starts to read like a story, I'm already wondering what will happen next to the commander and his battalion.  Cheesy

I know  Smiley

That's the best part of it! It's like reading a novel, only that's really happenned
A documendary of WW2 from the inside, a day by day war journal, written by and for some unknown heroes. You can almost hear the bombs falling

I agree it's great to follow the stories of these men. Anyway I'm already @ page 20 in 1st Infantry Division Combat Interviews - Battle of Hamich Ridge (Hurtgen Forest). Is there any time constraint or deadline for the files? I would like to take on Mar 1945 -- 297 pages after this but it will take me a while...
OP said there is no hard dead line on these files, just don't forget to keep him up to date on your progress Wink

Talking about updates, the 16th Inf Regt Company History - Service Co is done and will be uploaded in a few minutes Wink
I will edit this post once i got the file up on the internet Smiley

EDIT: You can download the file here Wink
https://www.mediafire.com/?l0b0ozy8bp6lhnq
The payment will be 11 x 0.0006 = BTC0.0066
If you have any complaint about the document you can say it anytime and i will fix it Smiley

Also, if gonna take another document if it's not a problem for you
Historical Records Apr 1944
1658  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Has my wallet been hacked ? on: November 13, 2015, 04:06:01 AM
It is obvious that your account have been compromised but since your available balance was 0.166 and 0.17 was transferred, do you have any balance left? or your balance is still there?

There was nothing left my in my account, it was 0.00000000 , i'm even wondeeing how it was possible for whomever transferred it.

My Account balance : 0.16
Bitcoin Sent: 0.17

Where did he/she get the extra 0.01 ? Huh
It is obvious your account have been hacked but you are quite lucky because people are willing to send some donations to your offline btc address, just create one and send them pm.

How do i create an offline bitcoin wallet ? Should i use blockchain.info website ?

You 100% should NOT use blockchain.info for an offline wallet.

DOwnload the bitcoin core or bitaddress.org to a cd.
Buy a harddrive, connect it to your computer, disconnect other harddrives, disconnect ethernet connection, no wireless ethernet adapter.
Install Operating system ,  run bitaddress.org, create encrypted wallet, burn to CD.
Turn off computer, disconnect offline harddrive, reconnect online harddrive.

You now have a 100% offline wallet.
NEVER EVER EVER let that offline harddrive connect to the web.. EVER EVER EVER EVER.

Mostly safe wallet:
Run virus scan on computer.
Download bitaddress.org on computer.
Disconnect from internet
run bitaddress.org
create wallet, encrypt wallet, save wallet.
Shutdown computer.
Turn on computer
Connect to internet.

The 2nd should be pretty good the first if you ever have serious amounts of fund IMO is a must.
Don't you think that is a little bit extreme especially for newbies Tongue
Honestly i would just recommend OP to use electrum since it was pretty secure offline wallet
Just my 2 cents Roll Eyes
