1661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 05, 2022, 03:04:23 PM
Dragic is now officially with the Chicago Bulls. And with young Lonzo Ball and Coby White, that's a team that would probably not give Dragic enough playing time. Dragic will become a mentor in Chicago although they might need him on the floor during playoffs.

We are not sure though about the playing time. In Brooklyn Nets, he averages 25MPG even playing alongside Durant and Irving and the team is complete at any role and position. He even points out that he was suddenly put by the Nets on 30 minutes of playing time on his first game with the team after being inactive playing for 4 months.

Maybe Chicago Bulls will have the same approach about Dragic's playing time. He is still considered one of the good veteran role players out there.

Related story, Dragic has a good point during his Brookly Nets tenure. He said that the Brooklyn Nets are more focused on individual performance, main only on Durant and Irving, and not as a team. We can now conclude that most plays prioritized by the Nets last season are only designed for Irving and Durant. That will limit their role players' teammates to do their very best.

Since both series are tied at 1-1, maybe you can still extend the cut-off time til the next game. Perhaps fans of Magnolia and Meralco want to throw some bets on them. They show good plays in their games earlier.

Yes, bro. That was really the plan and I'm even glad that both series are now even to give an equal chance for those hesitant to place a bet for Magnolia and Meralco. Come on, guys! Please join the fun. Smiley

Just place your desired bet on the team that you think will be crowned as the All-Filipino Champion then we will tally it later on a first come first serve basis.

Php 5,000 / max bet per team

Bet: Php 5,000 max bet/team | Winner Take All

Talk N Text - harizen (Php 5,000) - FULL
Magnolia -
San Miguel Beermen -jakelyson (Php 1,000) , bisdak40 (Php 2,000)
Meralco Bolts -

The cut-off time for placing bets is 5 minutes (4:25 PM) before Game 3 starts on Sunday, August 7, 4:30 PM, PH time.
1663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: August 04, 2022, 11:44:49 PM

Crawford also said that if this fight won't happen this year then he will go for Jermell Charlo in the super welterweight so that he will at least have one fight this year after all the waiting game of Spence.

That's a great idea, why would he wait for Spence if the champion is afraid of him, fighting Jermell Charlo and beating him will give Crawford another recognition and it will surely make him ahead of Spence in terms of ranking if he is not yet ahead now.

Sounds like an easy thing to do hehe.

Spence is not afraid. Come on, give it more time until there's an announcement that the fight now officially won't happen. Why not just chillax and chill while waiting for some updates? For sure, if the negotiations will be a failed one, there is PLAN B for both boxers.

And don't underestimate Jermell Charlo as he's far more dangerous to me compared with Errol Spence.

Saying easily that if Crawford will beat Charlo is something you shouldn't easily say.
1664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Games or Gambling Considered Sports, really! on: August 04, 2022, 11:39:31 PM

I don't mind that technicality but for me, when we say "casino games" these are mostly luck-based.

What you have pointed out are strategy-based games and these are really sports and not "considered" as sports. It does even have its own big competition throughout its history. Billiard, as one of the examples you refer to, is also part of an international sports event.

What casino games are sports in your country?

Since you have already done some research, can you name more casino games that are considered sports?
1665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: August 04, 2022, 11:31:01 PM
I hope GGG delivers that KO on Canelo in order to seal a win in this third fight.  Else, no matter how good GGG performs in the entire boxing match, Canelo might win again if it comes to the judges' decision.  Basing my statement on their two previous fight results.

I understand your point as in the first place, the trilogy will not be initiated and planned for long if there are no doubts and questions about the first result on which Canelo claimed he won already twice that's why before, he's not interested in the trilogy. In fairness though with Canelo, he really shows explosiveness in that fight but it's just that, the entire match is close that any judges will have difficulty scoring.

And since Canelo is the current "cash cow" there are speculations and rumors that judges might be favored him. But that won't be easy as in the event that GGG shows pure dominance in most rounds, I doubt there will be an unfair judgment on the result.
1666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rise of Streamers in Online Gambling on: August 04, 2022, 11:25:25 PM
I'd like to ask, do you believe a casino system can manage certain gamblers' wins like the streamers affiliated with it?

I believe no and not necessary to do it just for the sake of the stream.

It's just that if there's an affiliation, there is surely a provided decent bankroll given (or we can call it credits) by the gambling site that's why there are always chances that a streamer can also hit big winnings, and experience a series of huge payouts.

No risk, no pressure - the affiliated streamer will just enjoy the content and do what needs to be done.

Just for fun guys! I should have posted this early but was too busy for a few days now.

Who will win the All-Filipino Conference Champion this year?

Bet: Php 5,000 max bet/team | Winner Take All

Talk N Text - harizen - Php 5,000
Magnolia -
San Miguel Beermen -
Meralco Bolts -

I saw this late. I should have placed a thousand on the Beermen if others are willing to fill it. But I guess the betting is already close.

Didn't see this one when it was posted by harizen, could have put my bet on the Beermen if only i'm aware on this one.

Anyways, is this still open or closed already?

Since TNT and SMB won their respective Game 1, let's push this.

If anyone still wants to bet on Meralco or Magnolia despite losing Game 1, you can still participate guys. Cut-off 5 minutes before Game 2 starts.

Should I list you now both for SMB? I think many wants to bet on SMB here too that wanted a share of the bet.
1669  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Futures Trading is not for everyone on: August 02, 2022, 10:52:48 PM
If you are a crypto trader using spot I advice you should stick with it till you become a professional trader, just because you start futures and win three rounds of short or long buys doesn't mean you are officially a pro trader....

I thought I was a pro coming from spot trading, I used 300$ which I planned to use to DCA into a project but a man can dream, my first attempt was successful, which net me 50$ and the second was 100$, the third round was 40$ and I close the trade for the day...

On the second day I lost everything, I now officially accept that I am far from been a pro trader, at least that's what I thought 🤔.

Futures might not be for everyone but your mistake here is your mindset. You consider yourself a professional trader already with that experience.

Can you define pro-trader? How do you look at it to the point that it's become your thought to yourself?

Just simple advice too, obviously if a person wants to try something, they need to do their homework first to somehow gives them a brief introduction on what they will expect on doing Futures. After that, they need to experience it for real to know how things work there and to feel the pressure.

More importantly, don't ever expect that it's always a win. Losing is normal in the first trial and it really happened most of the time.
1670  Local / Pamilihan / Re: PBA Prediction Tournament [7.5k php in BTC prize pool] on: August 02, 2022, 10:45:31 PM

My picks for today's game:

TNT Tropang Giga -3.5

Meralco Bolts +4.5

Meralco is maybe hype pa sa pagkapanalo nila against Ginebra.

SMB mananalo dyan sa tingin ko pero baka makadikit ang Meralco at macover ang spread. Tingin ko lang naman lol.
1671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 02, 2022, 10:42:47 PM
I think they're going to have a hard time retaining their team for several years given the amount of stars they've brought in.  The problem is that all their stars are second tier stars.  I don't think they have a shot at winning a title with that roster.  Maybe if they all get healthy next year and have career years, but how long do you honestly think someone like Kyle Lowry is going to be able to compete in the playoffs?  This is why they'll probably be a top 3 seed in the east, but I'd be surprised if they make it out of the first round.  They have too much depth and not enough MVP power.

I might agree with this. I even considered the young roster of the Miami Heat will be a big deal and somehow a threat in the future for any team.

Yes, they are still young and currently, most are in their prime and there are a lot of seasons ahead for them to prove their capability but the team should also consider getting an already established all-star or superstar level to make things much better.

Of course, someone might say, Miami Heat is already fine and no need for another high-caliber player, and for sure they will be a contender but for me do they really need to wait for that time where they can do some good tweaks early?

Anyways, I don't see Miami Heat now as one of the watch teams currently in the trading rumors.
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and MLM Schemes on: August 02, 2022, 10:33:44 PM
MLM might be risky but not as the same when you do gambling.Believe it or not there are people who do make money with MLM schemes but of course it would be excluding into those people who had invested on the bottom which is likely they are the ones who do suffer the most whenever the pyramid of MLM scheme do collapse and talking about on general sense that mlm is a type of investment

You have a good point there regarding MLM however, in today's status of MLM businesses, it seems there are only a few that really stand strong today that's why it becomes riskier to invest in new ones since it's not an effective investment for anyone now. In other words, the glory days of MLM are now over that even though they have working and good products, it doesn't seem to attract new people to join the craze.

MLM is also just doing their marketing mainly about the profits that their users might be able to earn instead of promoting the products or what they are about to bring to the market. They are just depending on their referrals to do the marketing therefore how that company can be successful? They are just earning money from new referrals and not with the product purchase.

If no one wants to shoulder the whole Php 5,000 bet for a team, users can ask for a share with others or what we called here "bakas".

The cut-off time is 5 minutes before the Semi-Finals start (tip-off is 3 pm), August 3; 2:55 PM PH Time.

Only a few hours now for preparation for this bet. I will still push this even with a single bettor. Cheesy

P.S Anyone is free to join even newbie ranks or not that regular posters here but they need to escrow their bet on me.
1674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you stop gamble if your girl friend insists ? on: August 02, 2022, 10:13:52 PM

In the first place, your partner won't stop you from gambling if they see something wrong with you. There should b reasons why should they do that especially if they know you as a gambler already before she comes into your life. There are maybe signs that you are now showing an unusual behaviour or always losing money and that's the time she now steps in and will attempt to stop you.

In my case, my partner is well aware that I'm a gambler and I even tell her sometimes if I lose a decent amount at some of my bets. She will feel disappointed as an initial reaction obviously as the amount lost is big but still, she won't tell me to stop. The reason? I'm a responsible provider to my family and have never shown anything unusual that gambling is now changing my behavior. Of course to make things much smoother, when I'm winning a decent amount, I'm telling her those big wins since that will make her think that I'm not always losing.

She doesn't really bother with my gambling activity and I do gamble without any limits.
1675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 31, 2022, 11:59:44 PM

What an unfortunate loss for me.

Place a series of single bets for Ginebra's Moneyline and Handicap. Also, bet here in our place where I even take -3 points for Ginebra against a non-Meralco fan but a hater of Ginebra. I didn't expect the result but good win for Meralco. The last call was crucial but I agree with that call. It's just that it was caught. There are also missed opportunities for Ginebra prior to that play.

Congrats Meralco.
1676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 WNBA Discussion and Betting on: July 30, 2022, 11:17:34 PM
Honestly to me anyone who makes bets without even knowing anything about the league is definitely crazy.  Basically just throwing money in the wind and seeing if it comes back.

Honestly in my experience, I sometimes like that before. I mentioned here few pages back that I do placed several bets before on WNBA but I really don't have much idea about WNBA as a whole. I only refer to past games and not totally doing crazy bets without consulting my own analysis.

Even I don't have much knowledge, I do have a good winning stats of it and most of my best are averaging within 1.7 to @1.9 odds. I will try to remember what sports betting site I used and will share my record here in my WNBA betting. Not sure if it's Cloudbet or Directbet. If the former, there's a chance to dig the record but if for the latter, not possible to retrieve it.
1677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: July 30, 2022, 11:07:57 PM
The fight against GGG is in fact an effort to recover some of the reputation he lost against Bivol, if he happened to lose again then not only this will be a short term hit against his reputation but also a long term one, as this would mean an old GGG could beat him when his better days are behind him.

The trilogy has nothing to do with Canelo's recovering his reputation or what because he loses to Bivol.

That trilogy match was already arranged even prior to the fight of GGG vs Murata and Canelo vs Bivol. In other words, it's already set in stone regardless of the result of their respective match on which GGG won against Murata but Canelo loses to Bivol.

There's even an article or I think rumors, saying that both Canelo and GGG should win on their respective matches in order for their trilogy to happened for real like it's a pre-requisite or ticket for that event. But look, even Canelo loses against Bivol, the trilogy still push because it won't affect much his hype and will still gather lots of ticket sales as Canelo vs GGG III is already several years in the making and this time, it will happen for real.
1678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 30, 2022, 10:57:29 PM
Look at Isaiah Thomas. He was illegible for max contract in Boston, but he got injured before he can secure it. That one injury turned his supposed big paycheck into almost nothing. He got traded and now, just a few years later, he is gone in the league.

That was really an unfortunate experience for him. Because of his injury after being an almost season MVP during his prime years, from an expected max contract in Boston Celtics which play around $200M, he was being traded and no choice but to accept a lower deal.

The same thing happened with DeMarcus Cousins when he becomes eligible on max contact during his tenure at New Orleans Pelicans. I even remember posting about it here years ago in this thread regarding that. Unfortunately, Cousins tore his achilles and now forced to sign a small contract since then.

If I'm wrong about Cousins, anyone can correct me. That was way back years so I might forgot already some of the exact details.
1679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rise of Streamers in Online Gambling on: July 30, 2022, 10:45:09 PM
I think the reason why online casinos are making such move is that because online gambling became the new normal mode of playing gambling instead of going to a physical casino.

And not just that, it seems there are lots of people now that always hooked up on any livestream regardless of the content, be it online games, cooking, travel, gambling and random stuffs. Because of the growing number of users who are now being hyped by watching random content at famous streaming sites like Youtube and Twitch, it now make sense and necessary to put the marketing on it.

However, for streamers, it's not that easy to make partnership or being noticed by the gambling sites they want to promote. The streamer's page should be, obviously, famous, popular, consistent at doing regular streams and more importantly, knows how gambling works on that site and familiar with the interface as they will show to their viewers how to navigate on the site as well.

Without those factors, these streamers really need to stream that specific gambling site first without expecting in return and spend their own money to get the attention of the site they are promoting. That will take a long progress.
1680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This clearly damage the gambling. on: July 30, 2022, 10:38:20 PM
But the thing is, the betting sports industry is affected by this kind of game.  It is unfair for outside parties who is not involved in fixing game because they have no idea about the planned result of the game and may incur huge loss to them.  While the parties involved in fixing games will surely win and gain huge money from the losing bettors.

Actually, that case shared by OP won't even do a slight damage to sports betting industry as a whole.

It's just a few isolated case of live rigged match and it's not even considered a big league. Aside from that, because of what happened, bookies will surely not considered listing all matches even for local bookies or sports betting company.

And regardless if there's a rigged or not, you placed a bet without knowing what's going on. Next time you got disappointed, then don't bet again on that league or totally ignored any matches there. Simple as that.
