It's official.  QE3 is here.  Here, Fed chairman Ben Bernanke describes vividly the personal biological pre-conditions that motivated this latest round of bond purchasing.

blood shot eyes, are you implying that he's high?

the phone cost money, the service cost money monthly too ( a lot more money then the stupid phone -_- ).

that's what i like about bitcion card, its a one time cost, after that you can use the network for free. free texting, for real!  :

16711  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BitcoinCard - Are you buying one? on: September 13, 2012, 05:13:11 AM
So got one I didnt see any pricetag?

and what does this thing have to do with bitcoin? It implied it would function with it, but how does it solve POS issues or funding ext.

why would I want to have my movement tracked at all time?

i think the movement tracking is BS, and will not be implement on the cards. users would have to to put in a gr8 deal of work for this to become a reality.

POS .. well anyone that want to accept bitcoin would have one of those cards then i can easily use my card to send the bitcoins and pay for wtv.

Imagine you walk into a store go to the cash with a bag of chips and select request total, the dude scans your chips, your card pops up 0.0012837 BTC total you click PAY!
16712  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BitcoinCard - Are you buying one? on: September 13, 2012, 04:32:37 AM
I plan to buy one. If it succeeds, it will be really successful. The hardware form factor is awesome, the possibilities are endless. I hope they make the hardware platform open!

However I think the project has a high risk of failure because it might be too technically ambitious, especially features such as the distributed network of cards relaying packets (power consumption, software complexity, etc), and some technical choices are dubious (solar panel while the card will be in a wallet/pocket 95% of the time.)

ya that's true the, solar panel i could do without. i hope that's not the only way of recharging this thing -_-

if they can make it work mostly as advertized it would be cool.

I'll be buying 2. so i can text card number #2 run to the other side of the room and lol!

I could see it being used like mad in high school class rooms.
16713  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Litecoin on: September 13, 2012, 04:25:15 AM
one of these days someone is going to make a bitcoin fork and totally market it well. you know dump 1million into the project, create hype and anticipation of it coming out.

and that has a chance at PWNing bitcoin

Proprietary hardware does not go well together with FOSS Software.

It will be briefly popular then fail hard.
you'll see.
