It is interesting how resilient it has been.

scary is more like it..... I'm looking to buy big again, i do not have the balls to buy at these prices  Undecided
17228  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN BUY IS GOOD FOR SAVING PURPOSE on: August 07, 2012, 06:26:16 PM
if you think bitcoin is a risky investment, you have no balls

Isn't part of "having balls" doing risky things?

i guess i mean

if you think bitcoin is too risky, you have no balls
17229  Economy / Speculation / Re: pension fund or not ? on: August 07, 2012, 05:55:09 PM
how would you qualify 50 btc holding as retirement plan ?

I have a few friends 30 years old, they bought only so much with intention to hold for 10 years or more.

they do have their jobs and all , but that will surely not be enough as it seems.

Should they buy more ?
they are stretching their budgets even now...

basically, speculation is
will it be possible to live of of 0.5 btc per month 20-30 years from now ?

NO BALLS!
17230  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN BUY IS GOOD FOR SAVING PURPOSE on: August 07, 2012, 05:52:25 PM
Yes Bitcoin is good for saving.

people say its risky, these people have no balls!

bitcoin use to be risky, its not anymore, the only real risk you'll have when buying bitcoin is that a few months down the line it may have dropped in value. but if you wait long enough you will see a good ROI, no matter what price you bought at.

Do it DUMP your savings into bitcoin, as long as you know how to work a paper wallet, you will be fine.

PS: 10.50 might be a bit high? maybe wait a few weeks, i think we might be seeing a short term down trend again. wait for it and be ready

And weren't you the one who sold at $9?

So how is it that I sold at $11 and I have no balls?

 Cheesy

buying bulk bitcions takes balls. people who think bitcoin is to risky and so only put a few 100$ into it have no balls
selling at 9 or 11 dollars, after buying at 5-6ish, is just good trading.

to recap
if you put in less then 500$ into bitcoin, you have no balls
if you think bitcoin is a risky investment, you have no balls
if you mine bitcoin only to sell it right away, you have no balls

lol

17239  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Arcade - Promoting Bitcoin with Games on: August 06, 2012, 02:02:38 PM
I must admit I spent far longer than I should have playing that.

Would it be alright for me to put it on the arcade, along with a link back there and your donation address?

yes, use it on the arcade site

I find myself wondering if i should spend the time to make it 2 player, and allow the players to place bets ( first one to 10 point wins the 0.1 btc pot )
