You guys are getting trolled by a reporting error.

Can anybody explain why it doesn't show up here?
They should have refreshed by now.

who know how offten bitcoin charts updates that order book.

anyone got 10,000BTC so we can test this wall?  Cheesy
16743  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: September 11, 2012, 10:09:04 PM
I am so confused right now...

This happened the other day.  I didn't even bother looking into it because the odds of it being legitimate are tiny.  Odds are it's a glitch.  I really don't think it's anything to get worked up over.  MtGox's feeds get messed up from time to time.

normally I'd agree with you, but both mtgoxlive and btccharts are showing it

its not showing up on bitcoinchart's market depth, could be due to some lag in updating the market depth?

we'll know if a few mins....
16744  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: So when are we going to look into really finding Pirate? on: September 11, 2012, 09:42:10 PM
put up a bounty...

let people contribute to the  bounty

let the bitcoin bounty hunters do the rest.
16745  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the best way to acquire 1 million dollars worth of bitcoins? on: September 11, 2012, 09:11:31 PM
i'd buy 1 million dollars worth of LSD and sell it on SR Cool

lol!
16746  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the best way to acquire 1 million dollars worth of bitcoins? on: September 11, 2012, 08:58:16 PM
I realize it takes time (way too much time, TBH). But during that time period, the state of the orderbook should be locked. Order execution should be fully atomic.

agreed, why to they allow orders to be pulled out of the way of 1 major buy?

theirs no reason it should "take time" to lock the books and fill orders, for 1 big buy. its just a few numbers being moved around.

i dont get it....
16747  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: mtgox spike to 10.88 on: September 11, 2012, 08:36:18 PM
lol... almost every good spike people claim to have had an order not filled...

mtgox needs to review their code?
16748  Economy / Speculation / Re: [DSP] is 10 the new 5 or is 15 the new 32 on: September 11, 2012, 06:34:08 PM
Looking at the poll, I think I found another indicator that it's gonna crash.

Market where a vast majority believes it can only go up? Yeaaa, not so healthy.

lol. dude... the vast majority of us were thinking we'd be able to buy at 8.50. very many thought the big crash was signaling the start of a bear market, and despite that 10+ held / is holding.  to me this indicates a mega rally once it becomes clear that 10.xx is the bottom.

16752  Economy / Speculation / Re: [SHARE] Your Personal Analysis (only post with pictures) on: September 11, 2012, 03:46:06 AM
So that last big sell-off was approximately 15,000btc. That's not unusual?

it was about 9,000BTC

and no its not unusual.

just look at the charts volume at a 15 min interval

sell offs like this happen all the time.

like i said everyone has a price.

IMO this is a very good sign. it means as people take their profits from long term hording, the coins are being more and more evenly distributed.
16753  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coinapult ate my money on: September 11, 2012, 03:35:00 AM
There is still no response from Coinapult.

Tried to contact bearbones on this forum via PM (I thought he represents Coinapult) - still no answer.

I wonder when it's time to call it a scam accusation  Huh

how long ago did you send your e-mail?
16754  Economy / Speculation / Re: [SHARE] Your Personal Analysis (only post with pictures) on: September 11, 2012, 03:28:23 AM
Are these projections still relevant in this market? I'm an absolute noob but it seems to me that any time the price sneaks over about $11.15 there is a massive several thousand bitcoin sell-off and the price ends up just over $10.9 again. This has been happening for a while now. I can't see how anything much is going to change until these sell-offs run their course

that's the idea. everyone has a price, and 11.15 is it for many people.

10 is looking more and more like the new 5

16759  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 3.5 GH/sec ASIC Mining Noob Question on: September 10, 2012, 08:07:03 PM
i think, when its all said and done, buying a 3.5 GH/sec ASIC rig will pay for its self in 6-12 months. at best

could very well be that it will never pay for itself, and actually cost you 10$ / month.

IMO buying is cheaper / less risky then mining
16760  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: September 10, 2012, 07:37:41 PM
