16741  Other / Meta / Re: LoyceV's complete List of all Bitcointalk usernames. on: November 17, 2019, 05:28:46 PM
I'm just curious, did you manually listed all the accounts with other info and made a .txt format of it?
Lol no, it was just one line of code (and a very long wait).

I think so too. But it's there for whoever has a use for it.
16742  Other / Meta / LoyceV's complete List of all Bitcointalk usernames on: November 17, 2019, 04:20:09 PM
Viewing all members has been "temporarily disabled" for as long as I can remember, so I made a list myself.

Another reason to make this, is that I often need to find the userID that goes with a username. I can't easily get this from the forum, which is why until recently I used BPIP for this. Unfortunately, a small percentage of users are missing from BPIP.
So I made my own Cheesy

There are 2 versions, each with all 2.7 million userIDs.

This list could also be useful for finding spam-accounts created on certain dates (which means they match a certain list of userIDs).

These lists are updated once a day every 2 hours.

If a user changes their name (either because they're VIP or because Admin granted a wish), please post so I can update them manually.

16743  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: RBF or CPFP transactions if I reinstall my computer and lose transaction history on: November 17, 2019, 04:07:07 PM
Since I was asked to respond here, I'll highlight the things I've noticed:

As far as I know, reinstalling Electrum from seed should recover your transaction history too, just like when you import an old private key.
Wallet.dat doesn't belong to Electrum, it's used by Bitcoin Core.
CPFP can be used by the receiver only. If the sender has received change, he can use CPFP using the change.

If you're in a hurry you could probably export the private key and create a new transaction (double spend), but you'll need to know what you're doing and take safety precautions. If you're not in a hurry I'd just wait it out. Chances are though it won't confirm anymore in the weekend, and on week days fees usually go up. So it can either drop from mempool or confirm in a few days or next weekend.

-list of top posters on Pilipinas and their Merits
-list of Posters on Pilipinas Local Board within the past 120 days and their Merits. Thank you!!!
Sorry, I don't keep track of data per topic, and can't easily get it. It would take too much time and scraping to answer this.

Your only chance is to follow the instructions on Recovering hacked/lost accounts. Give them as much information as you can.
16749  Local / Meetings (Nederlands) / Re: Maandelijkse sociale gathering in Arnhem Bitcoinstad on: November 17, 2019, 10:06:09 AM

-> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5200956.0
Bijna niemand leest dat topic/board. Bitcoin Discussion is veel actiever. Daar zou je een topic kunnen openen over "Arnhem Bitcoin City" met informatie.
16750  Other / Meta / Re: Report plagiarism (copy/paste) here. Mods: please give temp or permban as needed on: November 17, 2019, 09:39:17 AM
Newbie btcshaker created a post with content that is used on several other sites:

Copy:
We apply an innovative algorithm, Bitcoin Mixer 2.0, to uplevel anonymity and money mixing in comparison with classic mixers. The main advantage of our service is that all the funds returned to you after a mixing procedure are verified coins from cryptocurrency stock exchanges having an undoubtedly positive history.

One of the "originals": bitcoinmix.io

Copying other sites makes me think it's a scam, but because scams aren't moderated I'm reporting the post for plagiarism.
16751  Other / Meta / Re: Help my account got hacked I need help recovering it. on: November 17, 2019, 09:30:53 AM
Here's what you should do:

1. Move (lower-left) this topic to Other - Meta.
2. If there is one: find an old post with a Bitcoin address, you're going to need to sign a message to prove ownership.
3. Follow the instructions in Recovering hacked/lost accounts

The account got banned in a wave of plagiarism-bans. If the plagiarism was yours, you won't be unbanned. If it was the account thief who did it, you stand a chance.
Until now, I haven't seen any evidence of the account being hacked, but the change of language and drop in post quality make it plausible.
16752  Economy / Lending / Re: Free lightning tests on: November 17, 2019, 08:37:24 AM
10%'s not bad for 24 hours work.
It's just $0.085, but I mainly like to encourage initiatives that use LN. I really hope this can lead to mass adoption by enabling cheap small transactions.

Quote
I'm in the process of adding another node/channel to each of my three LN wallet as the send & receive to jackg took quite a number of tries.  I think there needs to be a rethink how to keep the channels open (or, the programs such as Eclair) on mobile devices when the phone wants to cut them off.
I think (but haven't tested it) you can use (custodial) wallet BlueWallet to connect to your own node. If that works, you don't have to connect to any third party, and as long as your node is online, you can receive transactions (controlled through your mobile wallet).
16753  Economy / Reputation / Re: scam scare on: November 17, 2019, 08:21:56 AM
a loan that TOM was unable to fill.
How much was asked for?

Quote
TOM and the client wanted me to send the bitcoin to TOM's address first, which was to be followed by by the collateral being sent to me.
This should always be a red flag. It's only collateral if you have it first, or if it's in the hands of a trusted escrow.

Quote
The request for a signed message was made and ignored three times.
I'd say you should tag the account. You may not have definite proof, but from your story you're convinced it's either a scam attempt, or a compromised account. Both scenarios deserve a tag. The lack of evidence might not be enough for others to tag TOM too, but should be enough for your own tag.
16754  Other / Meta / Re: Rule #34 perhaps - Multiple bump topics on a single board should be consolidated on: November 17, 2019, 07:54:50 AM
I am only really noticing this more now, but do recall a comment from Lauda in regards to LoyceV some time ago. I can't recall if a comment was made prior to this but they do express the nuisance they felt it caused before consolidation.
That comment was the first comment in my "consolidated topic", but it's GrumpyKitty we're talking about Tongue

Talking for myself, I don't really use daily bumps on my data topics anymore (and ironically I never used daily bumps on my "useful data"-topic), but I do like to keep updating several data-topics (and I know for a fact some users appreciate them or even look forward to them. But since theymos' Merit and Trust data dumps happen on Friday and Saturday, I too notice Meta is overwhelmed with updates in the weekend. I'll be on the lookout for data topics being dumped during the week, because I don't think it happens often.

I could think of a rule to limit the number of bumps a user is allowed per day per board, but that's going to be terrible to keep track of and it's easy to accidentally violate such a rule.

Sorry, no update yet Sad
I use BPIP to get userIDs with the usernames from theymos' data dump, but that failed this morning. I was busy with other stuff today, so didn't have the time to fix it.
I'm currently updating my own list of usernames, if that works I'll switch to using this in the future. The current method of getting userIDs has caused problems and thus delays several times now.

If this works, I'll also publish a list of all usernames (currently 50 MB), which might be useful for others too.
16757  Economy / Lending / Re: Free lightning tests on: November 16, 2019, 09:06:50 PM
Ohhh I don't recognise that site.
I only know the site from Lightning Network Stores, but until recently I didn't know how to deposit through LN (it's just called "SATS" on the site (I won't post the name here because I've barely tested it)).

Quote
Funds sent, let's see how you do!
Received!

Okay, a small review of BC.Game: I won a bit, then lost it all on CRASH. Luckily, it wasn't my own money Tongue

Then, I deposited 20000 sat again, went half-in, and won back your money, only to lose it again.
So I deposited 20000 sat again, and won it back again Tongue Time to quit, this stuff is addictive.

Yesterday, my first withdrawal (of 2500 sat only) needed manual review and expired before it was processed. I tried again later, and after a while it was processed. According to the chatbox this was because it's the first withdrawal.
Today, my withdrawals were instant, just like my deposits. I really like LN for small amounts of play money, and I wouldn't want to wait for on-chain confirmations.

If you post a request for 11000 sat, I'll pay you back Smiley

I don't have the time to look into the details, but it always makes me curious why one user increased so much, and the other didn't. Maybe someone improved their posts a lot, maybe someone just became much more active. Or maybe "being well known" really makes it easier to earn Merit.

Why were you referring people to a scam casino? Sounds like you may owe them compensation.
To be fair: I think game-protect is referring to the "first version" of BetKing: I didn't check if there were referrals back then, but if he had referrals, they were all removed when the site closed. Then, after the scam ICO, Dean basically re-opened the same site, but all old accounts (and thus the referrals) were gone.
Removing referrals happened before the ICO scam was exposed.

No one got anything for free monkey, you hired people to advertise you, they did and you payed them for that. As for $700 which turned out to be few bucks, it was worth for you when you collected millions but now you don't find it worthy?
I didn't bother to even give him a reply anymore, the same BS has been discussed in depth in [FLAGGED] [scam] BetKing.io broke ICO promise and dropped token value 99%. Dean kept coming up with new BS and ignored all logic. There's no point arguing with a desperate scammer, so all that's last is to make sure his bad reputation is widely know. I think that mission has been accomplished Cheesy

The fact remains that you got $700 worth of free tokens and risked absolutely nothing
Irrelevant how someone got tokens, if they have tokens their "voice" counts as well. Bounty hunters have exactly the same rights as investors, stop fooling people.
It's kinda funny sad though, how Dean himself earned millions after selling 70% of all BKB Tokens (and suddenly his 30% unbought Tokens had the same value!), while he didn't add anything to the site other than luring in investors to scam.. He basically re-launched the old site and forgot about most of his promises of what the money was supposed to be used for.

The goal is still the same:
to gamble with someone else's money
It's valid for 60 minutes.
