Happy birthday, I wish you good health and wellness and that we celebrate your 100th birthday. It is rare to find a person over 50 who understands Bitcoin, so you are legendary and with an experience of about 60 years, it is rare to find a person like you participating in forums.

Jayce is an excellent option, but there is no objection to some competition. We must promote the presence of multiple alternatives in the event that Jayce is no longer online (I wish him safety anyway)

I think that the user wants to provide Campaign Management service so relying on 3 designers will be excellent.

How to sign a message - How to sign a message?!
Watch the tutorial on how to sign messages. this will come in handy for those who don't know how to do this

I have not restored an account before, but I think that keeping the email from which you created the account is important in the recovery process, or at least it will speed up that process.

In general, the forum is small, and if you are active, you will be able to restore your account easily, and such threads are good, but after a few days they will disappear and beginners will not be able to notice them, so perhaps it is better to speed up the process of creating the "welcome message" ---> Writing a welcome message

OFF-TOPIC:Time is running so fast how this thread was created in 2018, I remember it like it was yesterday. Shocked Shocked Shocked
1685  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Please Explain This Bitcoin Trade on: June 17, 2023, 09:08:02 AM

Nope for all
Well, innocent boy, you have told us everything https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5456569.
Never before have I thought that you're being milked by Asian women and it will be worse. I think you're not using legitimate Coinbase as I thought.
Just let go of your $20, you can't save it anymore. And, stop creating new threads about the same thing.
Most likely, it will not be a woman, but another account that was hacked or that she is being paid by hackers to persuade traders to deposit.
Sorry for your loss, but if a woman from the Internet asked to invest in a site and it will give you a quick return, then it is a clear indication of fraud, and then you will not be able to withdraw your money.
1686  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Manipulation on Peek - What You think ? on: June 17, 2023, 09:03:27 AM
Almost now, the price has returned to its normal levels, and the reason for that is that these legislative regulations were not primarily against bitcoin, but rather against stocktaking. Therefore, the price has not changed, and in view of the trading volumes, they are few in order to break the resistance barrier, which means that the weak hands have already sold and all those present are waiting The soonest opportunity to buy more.

It is a state of parity in the market and there is no panic selling, so the price has stabilized.
I also think that Binance is the reason for the recent decline in an attempt to maintain the stability of BNB.
1687  Economy / Speculation / Re: You wanted decoupling, you got it. on: June 17, 2023, 08:42:24 AM
The attempt to find a link between the stock market and Bitcoin started several months ago, and I still see that some believe in this theory. The fundamental difference between these markets makes things that affect Bitcoin may not affect S & P / Nasdaq stocks, and vice versa, as after BlackRock signed with Coinbase is bound to move this platform to Hong Kong.

we have several months of rises, and a correction must occur, especially since we are in the middle of the year, where people tend to withdraw their investments and avoid high-risk investments. you always find the performance of the second quarter in Bitcoin slow compared to the rest of the quarters.

That we're still over $25,000 is good news in itself.
1688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why haven't anyone created a crypto currency name Merit yet? on: June 17, 2023, 08:24:01 AM
One thing I was wondering is why nobody yet have created a crypto currency under the name "Merit" yet. Smiley
Because Merit is not a cryptocurrency, but rather a database system inside the forum code, which makes it difficult to upgrade without obtaining certain points, and therefore the user must create high-quality posts that have no material value outside the forum and it is wrong to sell them, so it is not his currency that is traded, but rather just code in a base evidence.

If it was a currency, I can make more than 10k sMerits annually, and then I may not be inclined to send it.
1689  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recommendations for signature designers on: June 17, 2023, 08:07:47 AM
I can advice you to use hugeblack or Jayce
Thank you for recommendation, but this list is very outdated. I stopped making signatures since 2019. I did not make signatures for gambling sites and many altcoins that give false promises to users. Therefore, about 50% of the signature campaigns were out of my interest, and then I decided to stop providing that service.

Jayce and Zwei are the two best options in this case.
1690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many advantages do you know about tron? on: June 17, 2023, 07:20:26 AM
Tron is a dead blockchain, and the only thing that makes it alive is USDT. Without it, we might not have heard of that blockchain, so with the decrease in transaction fees on the Ethereum network, I expect USDT to move to that blockchain, or rather, that the trading volumes there will be higher, and therefore Tron will slowly die after that.

1. Negligible transaction fees
2. Creation of dApps with the help of smart contracts
3. Transactions popular for being speedy and robust
4. Scalability to manage a higher volume of transactions
1. Fees are increasing, and there are some alternatives that are cheaper, but less reliable. If the fees on Ethereum become the cheapest, then this is the final blow to this project.
2. All competing blockchains have this feature.
3. All competing blockchains have this feature.
4. All competing blockchains have this feature.
1691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BlackRock Bitcoin ETF to Partners with Coinbase on: June 17, 2023, 07:12:46 AM

i do laugh when they say
Quote
Investors may purchase and sell Shares through traditional securities brokerage accounts, and can avoid the complexities of handling bitcoin directly (e.g., managing wallets and public and private keys themselves, or interfacing with a trading platform), which some investors may not prefer or may find unfamiliar.

Unfortunately, this approach is for all companies and even individuals. I do not know why the individual is afraid of keeping his money to the extent that he trusts it with these central entities or cloud services or any service that tells him that your money is safe and you can access it whenever you want, so trust funds like this will bring the wealthy who think about Bitcoin As an investment asset next to their investment portfolios without even diligence in understanding what Bitcoin is.

as for if blackrock should be using coinbase as the custodian vault.. well the same story is for grayscale

I see all the tightening that is happening now as an attempt to keep the multinational platforms out of the US and therefore Coinbase will be the beneficiary of any regulatory complications.

1692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy ETH as much as you can.... on: June 16, 2023, 09:53:51 AM
On the one hand, many investors are afraid to invest in altcoins, but this does not mean that these investments will be transferred directly to Ethereum, especially with the increasing confidence in Bitcoin and the shrinking role of central platforms, which have always been a lever for altcoins.

Therefore, if you want to invest, the ratio of Bitcoin to Ethereum compared to alternative currencies should be in my opinion:

 - Bitcoin 60%
 - Ethereum 30%
 - altcoins 10%.
OR
 - Bitcoin 70%
 - Ethereum 15%
 - altcoins 15%.
1693  Economy / Speculation / Re: This year is dumping ground for bitcoin on: June 16, 2023, 09:22:26 AM
All the time being this year has not really record a tangible price increase that's why people are dumping bitcoin for now.

No one expected that Bitcoin would rise during this year, even the current levels are considered high starting from the beginning of the year so that if we think that we were at the levels of 15K several months ago, the price of 25K is attractive or high, especially if it is compared with stock prices and most investment sectors.

Talk please, but my advise is to reduce your buying strategies and watch.
Returning to what I said above, the price currently seems good for those who want to build a long-term investment center, and it is a suitable selling price for those who invested a year ago from now and do not wish to wait for two or three years.
This advice would be terrible if we go back to this thread two years later.
1694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Endurance and perseverance really pays off on: June 16, 2023, 09:10:18 AM
It seems that you have gained a lot. Potato prices have increased in my country, but prices have started to go down since the beginning of this year.

1695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BlackRock Bitcoin ETF to Partners with Coinbase on: June 16, 2023, 07:42:14 AM
With all the news regarding the SEC, ETF approval is excluded at the present time, but it may be the news that may move the price in 2025, just as it was with Tesla and Elon Musk, especially since in the year 2024 economic changes may occur in the United States that make what was currently excluded It is something possible in the future.

In general, I do not hope that someone is overly optimistic that this will not happen soon or will not happen with the current market capacity.
1696  Economy / Reputation / Re: Mahdirakib Insight on: June 16, 2023, 07:31:39 AM
There may even be more naim027 alts active and participating in that local board. Let's talk about it. Otherwise, what is this section for?
I agree and that's why I asked @LittleMouse to tell us more because I think he knows some of them personally or at least he knows things we don't.

As far as I can see, 'Little Mouse' isn't trying to defend me.
Not you but LDL/John Abraham or at least he knows more about what's going on in that local board.
1697  Economy / Speculation / Re: [POLL] Should the Fed stop raising interest rates? on: June 16, 2023, 06:51:39 AM
It is likely that we will witness a rate hike twice in the coming sessions, which represents a 25 basis point hike for each meeting. As a whole, the interest will be about 6% in the worst conditions, and then a relatively long period of stability before it starts to cut interest rates.

The cryptocurrency market has become less affected by monetary tightening policies, so we will not see a difference in prices, and the price of Bitcoin will not be affected by the interest rate in the future unless the change is sharp, which may not happen soon. the markets will be either in a state of stability below $30,000 or a relative rise to $35,000, with long-term support at $25,000.
1698  Economy / Reputation / Re: Mahdirakib Insight on: June 16, 2023, 06:36:10 AM
Most people using Paypal in Bangladesh are using accounts created by someone else from the supported countries. There are a lot of people who sell such verified accounts. People use the accounts with a risk of getting frozen anytime.
This reminds me of LDL's case, when I asked for more details, your response was trying to contain the situation:

Can you explain more details? How can someone use your address to ruin your reputation? Has your wallet been emptied, or is it that $40?
It's a strange coincidence, so try to explain in detail, otherwise you will be accused.
I can't see anything LDL has left to explain. A matter about which he doesn't know at all, what he can explain further. The address was posted publicly on the forum. Anyone can send the address to anyone else. That doesn't make the address owner scammer, nor the address owner has an explanation here. What would you tell if a scammer sent your address to me claiming that it's his address?

Both Dmriti64 and LDL is from my local. To me, it's an attempt to defame LDL and Dmriti64 or either one of them. LDL has shared he doesn't know anything. He is also ready to send the fund back to the original owner. That's the best he can do and he is ready to do so. I don't think there's anything left until further investigation.
The same thing is repeated here:

I'm not very fond of asking users for private data, but if John Abraham isn't lying, this would be a good start to prove it.
I can vouch for LoyceV here. John Abraham can send the proofs to LoyceV if he has no issue with trusting him. I believe LoyceV won't abuse any private info.

Do you know personal information about these accounts or do you know them personally, or is your defense based on the fact that they are from your local board?

In general, I hope that this drama will stop. During this week, about 4 topics related to that local board were opened.

And I wonder why nobody noticed that Bitcointalk's Twitter account had risen from the grave (I thought it was a hack Smiley).

Good news, I didn't think that account was back in action, especially after I heard about deleting inactive accounts on Twitter.

Oh, I didn't even know there was a Twitter account for bitcointalk (or if I knew I totally forgot it) !  Cheesy
We could also have announcements on reddit/r/Bitcoin during long downtimes.

If this is not an alt account, then you should not have heard of Twitter account. All the discussions about it were from the pre-Cloudflare era, which I think is before 2019.

The last time I visited r/Bitcoin, it required you to log in before access content, Twitter is an excellent option.

1700  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of Pig Butchering Scam! on: June 15, 2023, 10:14:12 AM
The "pig butchering scam" is a type of cryptocurrency scam that has recently gained popularity.

There are many names and the meaning is the same. Do not trust anyone or a service that gives you high profits in a short time. They are scammers. Promoting these services does not only mean losing your money, but you may lose one of your friends because you will be the reason for his loss of money because you are the one who promoted those services. Money is not earned that easily, and if there is an individual who is able to double it easily and in a short period, why does he not take a loan and return the money quickly?
