1701  Economy / Gambling / Re: MegaPari | Gambling&Betting | Deposit in Crypto! on: November 13, 2022, 09:47:24 PM
@MegaPari, I tried finding out few answers but not sure if I’m getting it right. Is MegaPari Asian brand considering the “pari” word. It’s bugging me since long and also the other day I have seen one advertisement associated with Parimatch sport betting website.
Actually, "pari" is a french word which means "bet" and it's common. This is why many gambling companies use it in their brand names.

The main question is, do real gamblers prefer to use application than use browser in their PC? Although there is no specific valid source/study, I believe most real gamblers prefer to gamble using browser (both in PC or mobile) than using android application.
It depends on how good the app is and if it makes accessing the platform services faster and easier (a better user experience). I installed MegaPari's app and it's really good! I'd rather use it than using the browser version.
1702  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: November 13, 2022, 09:02:54 PM
Account is currently suspended, pending confirmation and report from game provider. OWL.games, without even getting a response from them, accuses that it was an illegal win and publicly lies by distorting the facts
I can understand your frustration but you need to be more patient. Repeating the same thing over and over again and accusing the casino of scamming although they didn't make a final decision, yet, is not going to help and won't speed up resolving this issue.
You said the same thing happened to you with another casino (bc if am not wrong) so you know this is a normal procedure followed by all casinos when they suspect something is not right. Just give them more time till they get a response from the game provider.
1703  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BEWARE OF BINANCE P2P on: November 12, 2022, 11:42:43 PM
Hi everyone,
He said I had to make an offer on a specific advertisment by an user and that I had to copy paste a name and a number given by him, that this person was his friend and he will inmediately know what to do, I did as he said.
Sorry to hear about what happened to you but you bear part of the responsibility on it. Didn't you find his request to copy-paste a name and a number is a bit strange? Didn't you ask your self why he asked you to do that?
If you were OK with the rate the buyer was was offering then why didn't you trade with him directly (without the need for a middleman)?

Quote
buyer recklessly deposited instead of asking for confirmation or even realizing that the names in the payment method and the chatbox didnt even match
I've been using binance p2p a lot recently and can guarantee you that most merchants don't check if the payment details matches the name registered on binance(although it's a must according to binance p2p user transaction policy). They process a lot of orders and just don't have enough time for that.

1705  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there an efficient way to research and find new information on news on: November 11, 2022, 10:54:58 PM
Using social media can be the best choice teal time nformation. Because from social media we are often get the fastest information to report than media.
Not all social media platforms are good or reliable source of information and you shouldn't blindly believe everything you read there. Take Facebook as example, it's full of misinformation (share either intentionally or unintentionally) and fake profiles and all Mark's efforts to fight fake news don't seem to be working.
Twitter is the best among them if you want to stay updated with the latest news. You just need to follow the right persons.
1707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Parents And Their Children In Gambling.. on: November 08, 2022, 11:49:08 PM
..
The question is how to achieve that? In today's world and as a father myself, I can tell you that it's practically impossible to control or even keep an eye on your children 24/7. Kids, if they are not out with their friends, they will stay in their rooms with phones/tablets/PCs and open access to the internet or watching TVs with all sorts of ads. How can you protect them from all this and limit their exposure to ads and content which is not suitable for their age?

Welcome to bitcointalk Zkasino. Can't wait till you finish the beta testing phase and officially launch your casino. I quite like your personal text, btw  Wink

Bitcoin is going to be an option for deposit and withdrawls. I'm sorry if we weren't clear enough on that. Smiley
Thanks for clarifying this. When I read the OP I got confused and thought something was not right. Because how is it possible to use bitcoin with smart contracts without having something in the middle.
No kyc, non-custodial, 0.6% house edge.. Couldn't ask for more!

...
I didn't visit this thread for quite some time and by reading the latest replies I got the feeling Roobet is indeed planning /thinking of implementing this "feature" and they have announced it officially. After going back few pages, I realized this is not true, thankfully!
There are many other more effective and convenient solutions to prevent hackers from stealing customers funds such as 2fa, email confirmation, addresses whitelisting..
Am also convinced their security system is good enough to spot if something suspicious is going on.
1710  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am opening a crypto casino / sportsbook what should we add? on: November 08, 2022, 09:07:13 PM
Depends on the rules of the no deposit bonus, if he knows how to avoid cheater (multi accounts) then it will be fine to offer no deposit bonus.
Limiting the no deposit bonus for bitcointalk members only with more requirements (rank, merit, etc) can be one of the ways to avoid cheaters.
Promotion should be calculated and prepared wisely in order to lose a lot of money.

Yes, i think we are going to give exclusive bonus to Bitcointalk members (no new accounts or spam accounts)
If you are going to make the no deposit promotion exclusive for bitcointalk members then you will not get enough traffic o your website and you will end up with few customers who may or may not continu to play on your casino. Better make similar promotion on different gambling related platforms/forums to attract more customers.
Other types of promotions on bitcointalk isn't a bad idea though. Take a look at the games and rounds sub board to have an idea on what kind of promotions you can run here.
1711  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This is why it's not a good idea to leave your coins on any exchange on: November 08, 2022, 07:37:30 PM
be smart because the market can still go lower due to this commotion.
This is not the reason why you should not keep your coins on exchanges or any centralized/custodial services. If the prices of your assets are going or the market collapses then it will affect you even if your coins are in your custody.
In fact, having them on an exchange (although I don't recommend it), you will be able to exchange them faster before the prices fall more.
Keeping your coins on centralized exchanges/services is not recommended because that way, technically, the coins are not yours and they can dissappear with the exchange all together at any moment.
1712  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC wallet disadvantages on: November 08, 2022, 06:54:37 PM
I won't say it's a disadvantage since it's the user's responsibility to properly and safely back up his wallets. This is the most basic and simple thing you're supposed to know how to do if you want to be your own bank and enjoy the true financial freedom.

What about biometric authentication, can such technology be used to generate wallets' seeds? I'm not sure how or if this can be done but won't it solve this inconvenience? I suppose it will make creating and accessing wallets easier and without the need for backups.
1713  Economy / Exchanges / Re: $ Buying crypto to casino without KYC and fast $ on: November 08, 2022, 06:25:39 PM
I took a quick look at the service to see how it works (didn't make a deposit) and it seems really easy to use.
However, I couldn't figure out how much they deduct in fees.
I tried to exchange 100 units (my local currency) and it says I'll get the equivalent 84 units in btc, that's 16% in fees. But for 1000 units it says I'd get 950 meaning 5% will be deducted.
BTW, 16 units (local currency) is almost $5.
So, my guess is that the fee is 5% and the minimum is $5.

Also, I was expecting the email address will be only used to get payment notifications, but I've received multiple emails from the service that have nothing to do with the payment (price alerts)! Isn't this spamming?
1714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling techniques on: November 07, 2022, 11:56:40 PM
It's the first time I am hearing about the casinos offering us betting strategies. It sounds very cool and now I am wondering how many casinos offer this option and how many people have a made a profit with it. Is this maybe part of the automated betting section? I tried this myself only a few times with Dice and always lost my money.
As I said, I never saw any casino with such feature too. But it doesn't really matter whether the strategy is going to be provided by the casino or you will have to set it manually:the result will always be the same.
I think it's better to focus on having a nice and fun time gambling than thinking of a way to beat the house (which doesn't exist without cheating).
Well the theory also predicts the martingale strategy will never work, even if there were no limits to the size of your bet the player will need an unlimited amount of money in order to keep doubling their bets so they could recover their money,
In theory, you are supposed to have an unlimited balance. This is why it works.
1715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much was your last big win? on: November 07, 2022, 11:03:16 PM
I have seen someone who does not know anything in prediction of soccer but finally he won a game that someone that been playing a gambling have not win for a day
That's begginer's luck and I have personally witnessed it multiple times. I even know some gamblers who ask help from people who don't know anything about football to tell them on which team they need to bet.
Luck-based games don't require any effort as you said but are  are more likely to win on a skill-based game if you have the experience and the skills required.
Back to the topic. I hit huge multipliers many times (>x5k) but I don't consider it as big wins since in most of those cases I bet the minimum amount.
1716  Economy / Gambling / Re: I won 1500 dollars on a ufc fight + quit gambling on: November 07, 2022, 10:37:10 PM
^^
If you are the kind of people who will hire a random guy to code a casino script from scratch for them just because he proposed, then better buy a cheap ready-made script/clone. I'm not even sure to whom he is proposing this offer.
OP, congrats on your wins. You didn't have to post any proof as we don't have any reason why not to believe you. I hope you will be strong enough to resist the temptation to play again and won't spend all the money you won on gambling.
1717  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto raffle game idea | feedback required on: November 07, 2022, 09:39:00 PM
Ok thanks for the feedback well yeah i think we could lower instead of 30% change it to 5%
No offense but lowering your cut from 30% to 5% just like that makes me wonder if you are really ready to get into this business! You may need to hire someone with more experience in this field to help you and assist you along the way or at least during the first phases.
Regarding the fairness of the game, you don't need to make live streaming. Provably fair algorithms and cryptography can do the job.
1718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: recommendation for gambling platform on: November 07, 2022, 09:04:17 PM
Although recommendations from members promoting casinos on their signature spaces may seem biased (and I don't quite appreciate doing so) but most of those casinos are good and have good reputation (except the 1xsh.t).
But players have different tastes so what may seem good to someone, may seem awful to you. Choosing the best suitable casino for you depends on your own preferences. I advice you to try different ones with small amounts of money till you find the one you feel confortable with.
1719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question to players: what does really drive you crazy in an online casino? on: November 07, 2022, 07:24:37 PM
Reading the rules and regulations may seems to be most annoying or boring thing, a gambler faces in an online gambling casino. However it is equally important to read the rules so avoid any unexpected thing or surprise in the future from the casino. Most of the time we dispute with casino and later found out it was already mentioned in terms and services.
Exactly. Reading the ToS and making sure to understand your rights and duties is necessary if you want to avoid getting in trouble with the service provider (casinos in this case). As they say "ignorance of the law is not an excuse", but honestly speaking: how many gamblers does actually read the ToS?
Personally I focus only on parts related to kyc policies and restricted jurisdictions.
1720  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am opening a crypto casino / sportsbook what should we add? on: November 06, 2022, 11:58:56 PM
I just visited your website and it looks nice! I found typo: "No account need it" I think it should be "No account needed".
Also, I see you have a shopping cart. What is it used for?
What cryptocurrencies do you accept other than XMR?

about the bonus abusers we have to see how to deal with them i think we will sacrifice bonus to be able to run a 100% KYC free casino
If you are going to do this then you should make up for it by offering more and higher rewards for regular and loyal players. Or just keep it and have harder requirements for bonus winnings withdrawals.
