1701  Economy / Economics / Re: I thought there was an egg shortage. on: June 15, 2023, 10:00:55 AM
The normal price is £1.40. It just shows how food prices and distribution is being manipulated to rip us off.
In my country, the price is about 1 dollar for 6 eggs. I do not know where they are imported from, but it is noticeable that food prices are stable this year, as I remember that the cost was about 1.4 last year.
In general, as an oil-exporting country, the increase in the price of oil and the strength of the dollar led to a noticeable decrease in the value of inflation, which reflected positively on the prices of most things now. It is almost cheaper than about 3 years ago, and perhaps it will continue until the end of the world.

Therefore, I do not know if there is manipulation, as it is on a global level, greater than England.
1702  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - how low will we go in 2023? on: June 15, 2023, 09:29:02 AM
This behavior will lead you to lose your money, and I advise you not to follow it, which is to be very optimistic when you hear good news and pessimistic about any negative news. Emotional interaction like this with price changes will lead you to lose your money, because you will not sell if the price goes up and you will not buy if it goes down. You will always repeat:

thinking of waiting until we see at least another 10% drop to buy more.
You will still look at the 10% and when it happens you say why not wait for the price to drop by 15% like this until you find that you have missed the opportunity.
1703  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: LifPay: new custodial Lightning Wallet for iOS & Android📱 on: June 15, 2023, 09:10:35 AM
https://walletscrutiny.com/android/flutter.android.LifePay/ - less than 100 downloads to far and no rating. I would assume it will rate very low, though, if tested.
Paying by email will not be of useful due to the small number of downloads and the other party needs to create an account with that wallet to be able to withdraw money. It's likened to centralized services like Kucoin pay to another Kucoin account.
Using it as a wallet is not meaningful due to the high transaction fees and the fact that it is a closed source wallet.
1704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinMarketCap revealing the AMAZON CRYPTO TOKEN! WTF?! on: June 15, 2023, 08:44:46 AM
This is scam, and when the user was asked about official links, he gave the YouTube channel link, which is not considered an official thing, so either the user is trying to promote scam, or he does not know anything.

Amazon will not launch a token, Amazon has strong links with banks and will not risk all those relationships and advertising money to launch a token. If they want to do so, they should start research and hire people in this field, which did not happen, then it is scam.
1705  Economy / Speculation / Re: The low support level may still be tested during 2023. on: June 15, 2023, 08:23:39 AM
I still believe that the 200 EMA works well as a support level, and if we happen to break it (a price below 25k), we will inevitably do a quick test of the lower level, which is at 21k, and then stability for a period around 23k to 27k but I hope that we will not see rapid growth above 34k soon, because this is sometimes an indication for pumping liquidity into the market at a time when you do not need it, as it is difficult for us to reach levels higher than 34k soon, and because there are no resistance barriers at those levels, and there is not enough liquidity to reach above 40k.

Returning to levels less than 20,000 is impossible in the current circumstances and needs something very bad to happen.
1706  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: All RSI indicator OverSold and Overbought of all USDT and BTC pairs in 2 tables on: June 15, 2023, 08:16:26 AM
gonna add more indicators but still in dev ,will take some time
what indicators you like to add to bring from all pairs and compare ?
tradingview works well, so development in that direction is very difficult, many develop strategies based on these tools for technical analysis, but as I mentioned to you, what is the benefit that you are trying to deliver in the end? Based on that, you can determine what you are trying to develop.

In general, tables are not an attractive option, so focus on charts.
Give results and present them in a simple and unassuming manner.
Give the user simple predictive information.
1707  Other / Meta / Re: Gateway time-out Error code 504 on: June 15, 2023, 07:57:54 AM
This happened again, sometime last night (I don't know what your time will be but it's almost 12 hours from now) I was browsing without logging in.
I don't know how long it lasted, but it definitely took more than 10 minutes. I wonder why no one reported it? Huh Lips sealed
1708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more secure, WBTC or BBTC (Binance Wappled bitcoin)? on: June 14, 2023, 10:46:35 AM
Based on many analyses, Binance is trying hard to maintain the stability of its currency, BNB. They are selling bitcoin to provide sufficient liquidity so as not to panic and sell more BNB. Therefore, the platform itself is facing problems. What prompts you to sell your bitcoin and buy BBTC (Binance Wappled bitcoin), which Its value can become zero if anything happens to the Binance platform, which is something that may happen, or at least the platform will not be as strong as to guarantee the value of all Wappled bitcoin.

1709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are BRC-20 stablecoins the next big thing? on: June 14, 2023, 10:18:37 AM
USDT was based on the Omni Layer[1], which was working on as Bitcoin layer, but USDT-OMNI *died* because of transaction fees, trying to build any blockchain on top of Bitcoin means that more fees will be lost as transaction fees, and building on top of the Bitcoin network is not considered an advantage for stablecoin because the most important thing is not a guarantee The transactions are final, but in ensuring that the value of stablecoin is linked to one dollar, which is something that does not happen like this.

One of the smart solutions was in Luna, which unfortunately ended with the death of the project, which would make many people fear development in this direction.

inshort, BRC-20 stablecoins is not the next big thing.

1710  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Post your local news outlet, exchange, marketplace that support Bitcoin on: June 14, 2023, 10:08:35 AM
For a long time, the BitOasis[1] was operating in my country, perhaps they worked for more than 3 years without problems, and with the passage of time, Rain[2] platform joined them, with a license for many platforms such as Binance, and the ability to use most of the international exchanges that do not require KYC to trade Bitcoin against altcoins.

The problem was mainly in the existence of a platform from which you buy and sell bitcoin in exchange for your bank account, and therefore I do not think that the problem of most of us is in trading as there are global platforms, but the main problem is in withdrawing the local currency, in which the platforms differ from one country to another, and sometimes many people use P2P trading exchanges or DEXs.

1711  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: LifPay: new custodial Lightning Wallet for iOS & Android📱 on: June 14, 2023, 09:36:07 AM
Woow layer-3 application  Cheesy since I was enthusiastic about the tipping[1] service and turned to scam, I no longer trust centralized services built on top of the Lightning network.

Quote
The fee is usually less than 1% of the total amount being transferred. If you transfer to the Bitcoin network address, we will charge a 5000 sats base fee + a miner fee.
The way they introduce the fees is not that of someone with in-depth knowledge of Bitcoin, it's the first time I've heard of Bitcoin transaction fees for transaction volume i.e. total amount being transferred or why the wallet asks for a fee besides mining fees.

Is our wallet custodial?
Yes, because we want to make Bitcoin and Lightning Network accessible to the general public around the world. Therefore, the current LifPay design without people owning their node is the best way we can think of to encourage as many people as possible to join the Lightning Network.

Custodial wallet Roll Eyes, there is no reason to use them, we have better open source options.

1712  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there anyone else who shares the same sentiments? on: June 14, 2023, 09:16:16 AM
What surprised him was that the SEC's decisions were not only against Binance, but also targeted more than 15 platforms soon and in a limited market such as the US market.
Bitcoin has become too big to be affected by such news, and if it was clearly affected, we are still far from public adoption of this technology.
Binance has a clear influence on the altcoin market, so if anything happens to this platform, most of the altcoins will be affected, although I will not deny its impact on the price of Bitcoin.

Side note: Binance working hard to defend BNB at $220 price

1713  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Centralized vs. Decentralized Exchanges: Which is Right for You? on: June 14, 2023, 09:01:00 AM
There we have profit from futures, mining, liquidity, stacking, etc.
So, crypto exchanges really make tons of money, I don't really understand why should someone ignore the security of such a money maker business.

I did not verify the validity of your numbers. Managing the servers of the trading exchanges is very expensive, but the problem is not possible in that, but in the short time for the growth of this market, as 3 years to 7 years is the average life of most platforms, so the platforms resort to using hot money to promote and attract ads instead of guaranteeing their deposit money.

You find the platforms burning liquidity more than what they earn, and therefore the slightest news that causes the withdrawal of a lot of money from the platform means the collapse of the platform in a short time. This is assuming we ignore the misuse of customer funds which is a common practice.
1714  Other / Meta / Re: How do you like the idea? on: June 14, 2023, 08:44:32 AM

This brings me to a suggestion for our merit sources out there. Maybe you can create a thread on an important topic for discussion and reward those who share their valuable insights. This way, it would be easier to determine if a thread contains valuable information, as it is initiated by the merit source itself. I hope you understand what I'm trying to emphasize.

I don't like a lot of the practices that happen with merit, so adding more permissions to merit sources is not meaningful. A person should try to create high-quality posts and not worry about that. After a while, if he doesn't get enough merits, he can ask her, but don't make your focus on getting merits more than improving the quality of your posts.
1715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Are crypto faucets genuine and worth it? on: June 14, 2023, 08:31:46 AM
Faucets used to be a fun thing to do until 2013. Then, after Bitcoin boomed, they became pretty much a waste of time. It probably costs you more to run your computer just to click the Claim button than the amount you receive when you claim it.

Linking it as price impact is not the right thing, because what happened is that in the past there were no ways to advertise using bitcoin, and the ability to withdraw bitcoin to dollars was a little complicated, you could mine bitcoin with your device and then use it to promote your services, which is free.
On the other hand, the second party can use his phone or computer to watch ads for a small profit, and so on. It is the wheel of supply and demand and the available options.

Look, signature campaigns are widespread here, especially gambling, because it is difficult to promote these services outside the forum using Bitcoin, and as the forum represents a huge database, once there are alternatives, it will be more difficult to join these campaigns.
1716  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Trading Digits: all-in-one crypto trading analytics and market intel tool on: June 12, 2023, 06:49:14 PM
I have never understood the Fear and Greed Index or its purpose to be honest. It's kind of self-explanatory and just shows what the market is currently going through. If bitcoin's price is increasing, the fear is on the lower end. Opposite of that, if bitcoin is dumping, then it's showing more fear among investors. If the movements are sideways, the index arrow stays in the middle.
It is another reflection of support and resistance points, or technical analysis with some feelings that are simplified in the form of fear and greed, so it is a simple indicator for beginners, although I think it gives a false sense of the accuracy of the results.

1717  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam targeting Metamask wallet user's on: June 12, 2023, 06:34:58 PM
Aside from that, you never know where they got your email from, so the best solution is either to ignore the mail completely or to create a new email, which is what I have done since the mail is not even associated with any of my important stuff online.

Creating a new account will not solve the problem, but rather that you do not share your email address publicly, or at least with trusted parties only.
These users collect thousands of data from several sources, and therefore you should be careful in publishing an email and not clicking random links.
1718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS BECOMING A LIFELINE FOR POLITICAL DISSIDENTS IN MYANMAR on: June 10, 2023, 09:09:45 AM
Bitcoin grows when there are no alternatives other than using it. For example, in African countries, transferring money from Europe to Africa involves a lot of fees and challenges, and you can do it easily with Bitcoin, and then send these currencies to China, Brazil, or any country in North America, with a delay of 10 minutes on average. And fees close to zero.
Therefore, governments and banks do not consider it appropriate, unlike individuals.
1719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin criticizer, 'Black Swan' author, admits BTC isn't useful for 'bad guys' on: June 10, 2023, 09:00:04 AM
Is this supposed to be praise or defamation of bitcoin? An argument that the possibility of tracking it makes it not suitable for money laundering means that the percentage of use in money laundering, drug trafficking and other activities is much lower than banking systems and with the high transparency that you enjoy, all accusations of bitcoin are that it is used for illegal purposes is wrong.

Most of the people opposing the idea of bitcoin come from being colliding with their convictions that they studied and therefore the problem they have not accepting something new without even looking at what this new thing is, it is similar to the rejection of communist ideas because it is its Communists without even analyzing it.
1720  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Have you learned about open and close source wallet? on: June 10, 2023, 08:07:36 AM
Being open source does not mean that you are safe, but it reduces the risks that can reach you, and the fact that the wallet is open source and well reviewed is the best because the wallet is open source without reviews and closed source is at a level close to the risks.

All of this is related to your tracking of the news and knowing when an update is necessary and about the expected attacks, because without seeing the news and updates in the market, even open-source wallets with good programming may find some vulnerability.
