1701  Economy / Speculation / Re: Downward trend imminent on: October 25, 2012, 01:48:22 PM
GLBSE users has been starting to get their coins back now, it'll be interesting to see if their action is what I predicted (sell their coins for cash). If they do sell, we should see low $11 quite soon, and it'll trigger another round of selling, that'll bring us to $10 and possibly below.

well here comes low $11, price will probably stabilize for a few days at this level, and then another leg down to $10s

I hope for a correction so i see it as cheap coins atm Smiley

Your best shot for cheap coins was when it went below $3 earlier this year. This down trend won't go much below $10, I would say $8 is the absolute bottom. Unless something really bad happens.

Hi there Mr.Nakamoto
1704  Economy / Economics / Re: Tsunami in the little world of gold on: October 25, 2012, 03:03:01 AM
That's just returning to normal. The world has used gold as currency for thousands of years, only after 1971 gold lost the status. So gold really only lost the currency status for a little more than 40 years, it's just a period of abnormality. We will probably soon return to the norm of viewing gold as currency.
1705  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Chinese News Station Buys Counterfeit Gold Bars on: October 24, 2012, 04:27:24 PM
lol this has been going on for years, Chinese factories has been flooding the market with these counterfeit gold. I seriously contemplated getting in on this business 5 years ago, but decided it was too risky for me. (a decision now I regret).

You wanted to get in on the counterfeit gold business? And you regret that you didn't? Morals much?

You think people in the 3rd world become rich by being moral? I don't really have any pity for the people that paid $3500 for a $100 counterfeit LV bag, functionally they are the same, one of them just has brand value, the other don't, they probably are made by the same Chinese factory anyway.

Yeah, GJ is Obama. *facepalm*

Romney is Obama. Their policies are almost identical and both are bought out by Goldman Sachs.

GJ is such a neocon who wants to cut military expenditure by 43% and legalize weed. Right. (I know, in practice, if any President with libertarian leanings were elected, there's a fair chance he would be either impeached or assassinated within the first two years of office, or Congress full of crookèd Reps and Dems wouldn't rubber stamp the President's plans.)

No, that's not true, I know Romney's position very well on the issues I care about, and many of them differ greatly from Obama. I doubt Romney can be easily "bought" since he's pretty rich already.
1708  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donate to Gary Johnson in BITCOINS on: October 24, 2012, 02:32:33 AM
Nah that's ok.

Gary has a serious marketing issue. He's the poster child for fiscal conservatives pretending to be libertarian, although he's at least honest about not being a libertarian. He missed the republican nomination and shouldn't run at all (if he's ethical) because any votes he takes from romney lends to obama getting a second term.

Yep, anyone who vote Gary Johnson is a fucking idiot, you think you are voting for Gary Johnson, when in reality you are actually voting for Obama.

Nope. Anyone voting for Gary Johnson is helping him get the 5% of the popular vote he needs for federal matching funds and ballot access (and potentially debate access) that will change future races forever. And Gary Johnson takes an equal amount of votes from potential Obama voters as well.

I don't see how you think Gary Johnson is a pretend libertarian, name one issue. If anything, he is more libertarian than Ron Paul on abortion, and his stance on legalizing all drugs even makes some "self-proclaimed libertarians" cringe.

Majority of Libertarian would vote Romney if Gary Johnson didn't run.

You know, for payments user to user or to buy credits. Can somebody talk to Mark?  Roll Eyes
He is creative he'll understand
Sorry, but i associate creative with intelligent.

Thinking ZuckGuy as intelligent just make me ROTFL.

One don't usually become a self made multi-billionaire without being intelligent.

Did you break reddit? reddit was down all day today.
1712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reminder: you can and should abort in-person currency trades at any time on: October 22, 2012, 07:51:57 PM
I haven't done any in person trade, so how does it work? does the person hand you the cash first? or do you send them the BTC first?
1713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reddit.com tests their Bitcoin-Tipping-Bot! on: October 21, 2012, 03:23:47 AM
The title is highly misleading, reddit.com is not testing any bitcoin bot, the bitcoin bot is run by a reddit user.
1714  Other / Off-topic / Re: Windows 8 Server 2012 Windows Phone Halo 4 on: October 21, 2012, 03:05:09 AM
No one in his right mind will be going to use Windows8. Server 2012 is for businesses and they usually not deploy to production systems unless they are well tested. Windows Phone and game Halo 4 = too small user base. Only thing that is going to be big for Microsoft is profit.

Actually Windows8 will be pretty big in business adoption, because XP support is going to end in 2013, all businesses running XP will be forced to upgrade before 2014, 40% of business are still running XP right now, this will be huge. Though I agree consumer adoption of win8 will be very slow.

This is why I trained my daughters to keep shooting until the threat stops moving.

Hollywood teaches people that one bullet kills bad guys.  That is a dangerous belief.

I think it depends on the caliber, I would think something like a .308 rifle will pretty much 1 shot 1 kill, or at least disable the guy with one shot. Though any hand gun caliber would definite not do it.
1717  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitmit is Closing?? on: October 20, 2012, 03:07:38 AM
bitmit seemed a bit amateurish to me since the start anyway. There are more professional sites like coinpost.com, I think even if bitmit dies, it'd be a non-event, another site will take over.

1719  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there evidence that there is a correlation between difficulty and price? on: October 19, 2012, 02:15:03 PM
difficulty follows price (all else being equal)... it's as simple as that. People thinking it's the other way around must think again.

Only if technology didn't improve, if ASIC is available in abundance, then difficulty can double quickly without seeing any movement in price.
1720  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] 500+ Chinese Yuan on: October 18, 2012, 01:13:05 PM
I think your offer is a bit low, you are basically saying you want to buy my currency for $0.90 on the dollar. Increase your bid to $0.016 per yuan, then I'll sell to you, with free tracked shipping.
